Dodger POV
I begin my journey to the roof in the house. Before that, I tied up the unconscious cow I fought earlier and put it in the basement.
I guess while I'm walking up to the 3rd floor, I should know who's trespassing in my head. "Do you have a name, or do I keep calling you the crazy voice in my head?"
'I do. My name is Bianca.'
"Bianca. Beautiful name. How did you get in my head?"
'The object that you kept calling a diamond is a Dragon Rune. It contains the powers of a dragon.'
"Hench the name, Dragon Rune. I remember it rising on its own. I'm going to assume that it made the hole on my shirt."
'Yes and...something else.'
"How?" I stop at a mirror and raise an eyebrow before stepping on the first step of the upstairs staircase.
Bianca stayed silent for a bit before she spoke up. 'Like I said, the rune contains powers of a dragon. The Rune you recovered had powers of electricity.'
I stop at the middle of the steps and look at my hands. The power of electricity. Damn, I'm so lucky. "I'm like Electro, Black Lightning. Oh my god, Static Shock!"
'Who are they?'
"Black superheros. Well...except Electro. He's a bad guy. Their powers are electricity. How did the Rune get here?"
'I sent them here. There is a great evil hunting them down, and I had to send them somewhere I can find them, and they can't. So, I brought them to this universe.'
I gulped when I heard that last sentence. Any object that is sent here with bad guys chasing it are not good for this planet. Especially if there are no heroes to stop them.
Don't get me wrong, the US military isn't backing down from no threat. Unfortunately, they don't know about the alien threat above the farm.
"Are these aliens looking for the Rune?"
'Yes. The Galactic Farmland Empire was asked to help seek the Lightning Rune. I wasn't expecting someone like you to find. No offense' Bianca said.
"None taken. I almost broke my ankle on it. HOLD ON! Did you say the Galactic Farmland Empire?"
'Yes, Dodger. The cow you saw is a part of the Empire. There are more of them in the ship. They're not a pain in the neck as you would think' giggled Bianca.
"Doesn't stop them from being dangerous. They may have a group of kids I was babysitting. Well, if you can call it that. I should've been up there instead of messing that Rune thing."
'Sorry to burst your bubble. But if you did join them, you'll be trapped with them without someone to save y'all. I'm just saying...'
I guess she was right about that. I made it to the roof and saw platforms circling around above the roof of the house. It seems like it was the only way to the UFO.
"I didn't get a question, and somehow, I decided to take the physical challenge. I miss Double Dare."
The way was occupied by a...astronaut. It held a gun.
"One of the alien cows?" I asked Bianca.
'Yes. I assume it's waiting for their partner. I don't know if the powers are working yet. The best option is the ray gun.'
How would I know that the powers work? I guess it'll be a leap of faith. The ray gun will have to do. I pulled out a hammer from my pants and sneak over to the cow.
Tip toeing behind the cattle, I hit the hand. No, hoof. and grab the gun. I went to use it. Nothing.
"Stupid human! You really think we're that dumb to let you use our technology. You need our gloves to use our weapon."
I gave the cattle a deadpan glance before beating it into ground beef with my hammer. "Thanks, you idiot."
I stripped it of its suit and put it on. I proceeded to think of a way up the ship by the platforms.
'Dodger' Bianca called out. 'There's a ladder.'
A very long ladder that leads up to the UFO was behind me. I wanted to slap myself so badly. "Bianca, I'm grateful for you."
'Um, t-thank you.'
I begin to climb the ladder and prepare for a battle to save Liam, Clyde, Lincoln, and Lori as well as the world. It was like a movie. That and every OC fanfiction. "Let's do it to it."
Walking in the large spaceship, the Loud Siblings, Clyde, and Liam follow the leading astronaut with the two trailing close behind them.
They were everywhere around the humans, staring at them like they were a sideshow circus. Lori sneakily took pictures of them for proof when they'll free from their captives
The group arrived in front of a control panel where an astronaut who was sporting an orange suit instead of the white that the others were wearing.
Turning to face them, it took off it's helmet, revealing it's head. The humans were shocked. Clyde was trying not to faint from shock. He pointed at it and screamed. "Alien cow!"
The cow pointed at them, releasing a scream of it's own before putting on a deadpan look. "A group of stupid humans!"
Laughter burst at the humans. The Astronauts around them took off the helmets, still laughing. The Cow in the black spacesuit stomp the floor, frightening the kids and stopping the laughter from his colleagues and receiving a salute.
"Soldier 9854!" He called out. A cow ran over next to him and saluted. "If I remember correctly and I do. I asked for you and your team to bring me the Lightning Rune, did I not?"
"Sir, yes, Sir!"
"Good. Good. So, explain to me why I don't see the Rune and I see a group of USELESS HUMANS ON MY SHIP!"
The soldier was shaking with fear. He stared into the eyes of the Commander in Chief. No excuse was going to help him.
"Excuse me? Answer my question, Solder 9854!"
"Commander, I thought we could use them as hostages in case the Sorceress decided to bother us, Sir."
The Commander turns his gaze to the floor. Then, to the soldier. Then, back to the floor. Then, back to the soldier. "Hm, okay. That sounds like a good plan. But, question?"
"Yes, Sir?"
"Where's my Rune?"
"Soldier 5225 and Soldier 1290 are still searching for it, Sir."
The Commander rolled his eyes, turning his attention to the Humans. "Please excuse him. He's stupid. I'm sorry you had to be dragged into this."
Liam tilt his head, looking at the tall bovine. "W-W-We're free to g-go? S-S-Sir?"
"No."
The kids and the adult teen groan at the answer. They wouldn't be needed. They were brought here for nothing. Why can they be free?
The Commander answered their questions. "You know we exist. Can't have you telling your idiot species that we exist. Well, we can because they won't believe you.
"You humans are so stupid. Do you know that aliens have been on this planet for years and y'all couldn't see them. Always wondering if you're alone or if there's life outside of the planet.
"Whoever retrieved the Rune, we will use you as negotiation. The Sorceress wouldn't dare to spill blood of the innocent. Neither will you humans. Especially kids."
The Commander laughed at them, seeing the sad faces. He was going to complete this mission, and nobody was going to stop him.
"In the words of Raiden, I don't think so!"
