A figure in a purple robe walks through the hallway, entering a room with different species of creatures sitting next to a round table.

"Bianca, glad to see you late to a meeting you called for" a yellow male dragon sarcastically said. He wore a red cloth on its neck, sporting a purple haired mohawk with its beard matching. Three small medals was on it's chest and a scar on its abdomen.

"Thank you, Titan. I do apologize for my lateness" said Bianca, pulling down the hood to her robe, revealing long rabbit ears and blonde bangs. "I know everyone is wondering about the whereabouts of the Dragon Runes. I have located one of them."

During the hard times in the realm, the creatures cheered on the good news. Bianca's blue eyes fell to the table.

A black haired woman wearing a white robe shirt with a golden shoulder piece on her left shoulder that matches with the wrist gauntlets notice the look. "Something wrong with this joyous news, Bianca."

"Um...yes."

A green dragon with a staff and metallic spirals around its orange horns raise an eyebrow. "And that is...?"

The Rabbit inhaled and exhaled, looking at the various creatures that stared at her. "It was found on Earth. By a human."

The woman slams her right hand down on the table, sparks of yellow electricity sparking out of her eyes. "A human has found a Rune. They could use their power for whatever dastardly deeds. They harm their own species! Why Bianca?!"

"I-I thought I sent it around our dimension. But the human that found it stopped the Galactic Farmland Empire. Well, their scout ship. He really helped out, Lyn."

Lyn got up and walked out of the room. Bianca knew some of them wouldn't agree on the situation at hand. Reasoning with them is going to be hard and so far, it's not going well.

"Please give him a chance. I know that this is a big risk, but what chance do we have?"

The Green Dragon stood up. "This is a bigger risk than you thought, young sorceress. Our world, along with Earth, is in trouble and we're barely hanging on to the forces Ripto has against us. Plus, the health of this human. Did you think about that?"

The dragon, along with Titan, follow their companion on walking out of the meeting. The others walked out, ending the meeting and leaving The Sorceress by herself.

Placing her hands on her head, she just made the problem worse. If they see how good Dodger is, it may change their mind on him.

But his health is also something to look after.

'What do I do?' She asked herself in her head.

Dodger's POV

Is it wrong to dance in a slightly nasty bathroom? Unless you're listening to Hall and Oates, then no! Double no if it's Out of Touch.

I walked out of there, moving and grooving to the jam. It's been 2 weeks without hearing from Bianca and I've been enjoying my odd jobs. Today is my off day as I get to have fun in my favorite city, San Diego.

Purchasing a scooter to ride around the city, I rode on through the city, loving the sights, the sounds, the warm California summer weather.

It's a good time to visit. If you're living here, consider moving somewhere else. The rent is high, gas is high, and always a wildfire. Everything is high here.

It's just not higher than Snoop Dogg.

I saw a churro stand and went to ride over to it. But something caught my eyes. A bunch of people were huddled by a small yellow car on the road.

I want to roll by it. But a quote appears in my head.

"If you could do good things for other people, you had a moral obligation to do those things! That's what's at stake here. Not choice. Responsibility."

Thanks, Amazing Spider-man Uncle Ben.

I ran over to the vehicle and tried to help. There was a woman in the car, asleep at the wheel. Her foot was on the brake, thankfully.

The people tried to rip the door as banging on wasn't working. Plan C would have to be breaking the glass. I went to the passenger side, pulling my right back for a big punch.

CRASH!

ONE PUNCH!

The glass shattered and I reached in and put the gear in park. I also turned the car off and took the keys. Life was good till she woke up.

She screamed at me, beating me with her right hand.

"Miss! Miss! Calm down! CALM DOWN MISS!"

"Who are you?!" She asked, still hitting me.

"STOP FUCKING HITTING ME, DAMN!"

The woman finally stopped and I hold my pounding head. "You were asleep while driving. You could've killed someone and yourself."

The woman gasp and got out the car. I slowly pull myself out and went over to her. She had heavy bags on her eyes. Definitely lacking sleep.

"Hi, I'm Dodger, certified nurse. Are you okay?"

She gave me a pissed off look. "Yes! I'm fine! Can everyone...stop asking me that."

She was a spiky ponytail redhead wearing a white shirt with blue, red, and green small figures in the center, short black skirt, orange socks and blue sneakers.

A sigh came out of her mouth, the angry stare going away. "I'm so sorry. I haven't sleep well lately. That seat was so comfortable, I guess I fell asleep."

"It's okay. For the most part" as I held my aching head. "No one got hurt. If you want, would you like to go to that cafe over there for coffee."

The Woman started to blush. I replay what I said and I just asked her out. "N-N-Not like a date! It's only till you're better and we'll enough to drive."

"Um sure."

First, I help to park her vehicle to a spot and we went inside. We grabbed our drinks and sat down by the window.

"So you're not diabetic. Just sleep deprived. I'm sorry for asking all those questions. I'm just glad this incident didn't get worse."

"So am I. Like I said, I haven't slept well."

"If you don't mind, what's been giving you trouble?"

The Lady looked at the table. She must be going through something tough. "I'm sorry for asking. I didn't mean to be insensitive."

"N-No, Dodger. You're fine. I was just...preparing to get treated like a fool."

"I wouldn't do that."

She begin to rub her right shoulder. I recognize it as a coping mechanism. "Everyone else has. But you're not everyone. Here goes nothing, I guess.

"I've been having these weird dreams lately. I see this...thing. This monster. Sharp teeth, long green tongue. Even have teeth on it's knee caps. It's in every dream I have, trying to eat me. I try to fight off sleeping to avoid it. But I can't. My family wants me to see a psychologist, but they're just going call me crazy.

"I thought it was work stressing me out, but...I don't know what to do."

When you walk away, you don't hear me say, please oh baby, don't go. Damn, such a good song. "I'm not a doctor. But maybe a sleep study would be suggested. I'm not going to force you into anything. I don't think you're crazy. But I can't say I've had the same issue."

The Lady took a long gulp of her coffee, still looking scared. I was about to speak, but I notice the sounds of screaming.

It wasn't from anyone in the cafe. It was from outside. Distance away from here. Woah, super hearing?

"Is everything okay?"

I turn to her. "Do you hear screaming?"

"I knew you would think I'm crazy."

"No, I wouldn't think that."

"So you're making fun of me!"

"NO!"

I couldn't finish this argument as something told me to look behind my back. Thank goodness I did as the yellow car she was driving was heading my way.

The vehicle begin to slow down. A surge of energy flow through my body, especially my legs. I turn back to the redhead and everyone straight ahead. They're in trouble.

I push the table out the way, grab the sleepy head and place her on floor. I'm glad my lightning powers kicked in as I was moving in speed as I place a couple, a gamer, and a family to the safe side of the cafe.

I slide next to the lady, covering her body so the car hit me instead of her. The sound of screams, glass breaking, and crashing, I peek to see no one was harm.

My eyes glance at the woman, staring into mine. "Either I'm dreaming or you have pretty blue eyes."

"Th-Thanks."

I help her up on her feet and we looked at the car that crashed into the back of the restaurant. She saw that it was the car she drove and was on the verge of tears.

'Dodger!'

'Bianca? Where the fudge you been? I was worried about you!'

'No time to explain. You're in danger.'

She's too late on alerting me. Wait? Did she said I was in danger. It better not be those cows again. I looked out the broken window to see a black haired lady, dressed like a Goddess who held a lightning bolt. She seem pretty pissed.

"Bianca? Is this a friend?"

'Kinda...'

I don't like the sound of that answer.
