"Fuck you, bitch!" said Dodger who saw Lyn wake up from further away and punched her in the air. A smile appear on his face when her body crashed into the roof of a building.

The super suit vanished, revealing his naked body. Freaking out, Dodger covered his exposed one eye snake and testicles with his right hand and his butt with the left. "My Junior Seau jersey. Mom gave that to me. Damn!"

Looking around, his shock look for being exposed was turned to wonder. In front of him were some type of architectural with clouds all over. Tall beautiful towers stood tall and high. But not high as the giant hourglass that was in the sky.

"Wow. Is this heaven?"

"No" Dodger look down to see a bear wearing a sky blue gown with yellow stars all over. Even the sleeping cap match the fit. "This is Cloud 9."

"Cloud 9? Like the actually Cloud 9?"

"Yes, Sir."

"I thought it was a fictional phrase to talk about love or pure happiness. The more you know I guess" Dodger shrugged.

"If you don't mind me asking? Did Bianca send you here?" The bear asked.

"I think so. Either that or that woman sent me here. I don't think Bianca sent me here for no reason. There must be a Dragon Rune here."

The Bear nod his head. "You're correct. But there is someone who is causing trouble. There is a monster guarding our heater for our hourglass. Without it, we haven't gotten sleep. Without sleep, we can't watch people's dreams."

Staring at the hourglass, it was dark. All black. Not a good sign as the Human thought. "Is that suppose to look like that?"

"No. That's the work of-"

"Oh my god" a female voice said, making Dodger turn around.

"Oh shit..."

Frankie was in awe of the sight of Cloud 9. The smile on her face turn beet red and into disgust. "OH MY GOD!"

With his hands on his hips, Dodger follow her frozen gaze to him. After a few seconds, he realized what she was looking at and cover his junk. "I AM SO SORRY!"

"Wow...just...wow."

"Um...as I should be enjoying this moment of a woman saying wow at my...I got hero things to do. But first, I need clothes!"

Just like that, his wish was met when a lightning bolt strike his body. Instead of being hurt, his navy blue Chargers jersey, jeans, and sneakers was back on his body.

"Um damn. Thanks."

"No problem."

A creepy deep voice startled Frankie, Dodger, and the bear. A tall bipedal humanoid creature wearing all black clothes walking close to them. A big smile form on it's red skin face. A big feature was it's long claw on the left hand.

Crossing his arms at his chest, Dodger stare at the being. "If it walks like a villain, talks like a villain, then it's a duck."

"Hmm. You must be the one Bianca beacon. I heard about what happened to those brainless bovines. To see it was a simple human makes my job easier."

"Cocky much?"

The Creature smirk, it's yellow eyes looking at the Human. "Confident. Confident that I can rip you apart."

Frankie rub her shoulders, getting a creepy vibe from the creature as she looks at it.

The Bear tugged on the jeans of Dodger, getting his attention. "You don't want to mess with him. He's a nightmare. The Nightmare. The sole reason Cloud 9 hasn't been same since."

"Dodger, I don't think you should reconsider" Frankie added.

The Nightmare nod his head. "I would listen to them. But I will leave this world alone. All I want is the Dragon Rune that the Teddy Bears are hiding here."

Dodger made his decision long ago. Sticking out his left hand, Lyn's Lightning Bolt appear in his hand like it was Mjolnir. Even his clothes charge back to his lightning suit. "You know us, humans. We're hard-headed."

"So be it" The Nightmare smiled, doing a whistle.

In time, a large object smash through the floor, causing Dodger step in front of the Teddy Bear and Frankie.

The object rose, it's shadow cover the three. Walking through the dust cloud, a large humanoid creature mixed with black and red liquid-like substance and tendrils on the chest, shoulders, and legs. The head and neck made up the mouth that showed a long green tongue and sharp teeth. The same teeth that was on it's knees.

"It's real! I-Its real!" Frankie screamed, backing away.

"Yes it is real. Well, not for long."

Dodger charge towards the creature and throw the charged up lightning bolt at it. If it was a javelin or a football pass, it would've been a good throw. But it wasn't.

"You missed" said the Monstrosity, laughing.

A smirk appear on the Human's face. "No I didn't."

The Creature stop it's laughing when it was tackled to the broken floor from behind. Through the smoke, there were sounds of bones crushing and growling before the Creature was thrown in the air out of the small dust cloud.

Walking out of the debris was Lyn, holding her weapon which was the color yellow again. She stared at Dodger, giving him a seductive look. "Is my baby okay?"

"Yeah. Nice catch by the wa-WAIT WHAT?!"

"I'm just glad you're okay and safe. Don't want you torn apart before our wedding day" Lyn told the blushing kid, dusting him off and giving his right cheek a kiss.

"I-I-I" the Hero in Training was dazed at the sight of the Goddess who look lovey-dovey at him. "Um, we need to skiddaddle skadoodle. We gotta find the Dragon Rune before the embodiment of Nightmare Fuel does."

He ran over to Frankie who wrapped her arms around her legs, rocking back and forth. He sat next to her, wanting to give her a side hug to comfort her.

"Hey, it's Dodger. It's gone."

Tears begin to roll down her face. "It's real, Dodger! I thought it was a dream. I thought it stayed in my dreams."

"I'm sorry for asking this late. What is your name?"

"Frankie."

Placing his left arm on her shoulders, he try his best to comfort her. "I'm going to beat that monster's ass and continue till it's dead. Then I'm going to take you back home and you'll have a better dreams. Okay?"

The red eyes look up to look at his blue eyes, his smile of confidence. So contagious, making her smile and nod her head."

"Future husband, you're not cheating on me, are you?" Said Lyn, ruining the moment.

"I'm not your husband!"

On a black pirate ship, The Nightmare was toying around with one of the inhabitants of Cloud 9, pointing his long claw finger at it's body, not touching it.

"I'm going to ask again. I don't think you want to end up like your brothers. They gave me the wrong answers and I don't like wrong answers."

The Teddy Bear look to it's left as it steadily breath. Two pile of ashes that once was his friends were there. He wanted sleep. He wanted to run away and be safe.

Instead, he was stuck on the brink of death with one touch.

"Where is the Dragon Rune?" The Nightmare asked right in front of the Bear's face, showing off it's sharp, menacing teeth.

"The Puffy Palace. Above our hourglass" The Bear cried out.

A chuckled seep out of the Creature's mouth. He walked into the darkness of the room. "Good job. You get to live, my furry little friend."

The Bear let out a sigh of relief and wiping the sweat off it's forehead that on its soaked fur. But something wrap around his stomach, pulling his body with ease into the dark abyss.

The sounds of crunching bones, ripping flesh and drops of blood hitting the floor was music to The Nightmare's ears.

"I want ships tearing that palace apart."

"And of the human?" a gargling voice asked.

The sharp teeth smile light up the dark, including his red eyes. "I'm going to make sure he wish Bianca never met him."
