(A.N. As stated in the last chapter of The Truth Behind The Words, this will be a series of Power Rangers one-shots (couples and friendships) from various series in the franchise. For the first chapter, I'll be doing a small sequel for The Truth Behind The Words. I hope you enjoy the one-shots and if there are any that you enjoy, I'd be happy to do extra parts in the story. I'll try to keep the uploading of these parts as regular as I can. Otherwise, I hope you enjoy and please feel free to let me know what you think)

Once the young couple had waited until the necessary period, they sat down with Tommy's parents and their friends to tell them the news. The pair had no idea what to expect when they told them, unable to anticipate their reactions.

Tommy and Kimberly had invited James, Melissa and all of their friends over to their apartment for what they disguised as a 'house-warming party.' They had set out some bowls of snacks and sat around the living room, trading stories in their conversations. When the time finally came to reveal the news, the young couple stood and Tommy placed his hand on his now fiancee's shoulder, squeezing gently. "The reason we invited you all around today wasn't for us moving into our apartment, we have something that we need to tell you all." Everyone gave them their full attention and Tommy shared their first piece of news. "Kimberly and I are engaged."

A sea of 'oh my gosh's and 'congratulations' flooded the couple from their friends as his parents looked at them thoughtfully, James asking. "What made you decide to do this so soon? Don't get me wrong, we're happy for you and we couldn't ask for a better daughter-in-law but you two are so young. You have all the time in the world and you only just graduated from high school."

The rangers understood Tommy and Kimberly's decision, having all had a similar experience during their time in uniform. They knew that everyone else was naive to the threat that they constantly faced and were under the misapprehension that their time was not limited, not knowing that everything they know could be gone in a moment if the threat prevails. However, they also knew that they could not explain their view without revealing the truth so Tommy simply responded. "We may be young but I know that I want to spend the rest of my life with Kimberly and I don't see the point in waiting for what I already know I want." He took Kimberly's hand in his own. "We also have something else we need to tell you, Beautiful?"

Kimberly nodded and looked at the group, her boyfriend's parents – who had been better parents to her than her own – and her second family - her real family. Suddenly, she wasn't afraid to tell them the news, she was excited for what was to come so squeezing Tommy's hand, she addressed the group. "I'm pregnant."

Everyone looked to the Olivers and Jason for their response. Jason looked hesitant, teetering between happiness and fury. "By you?"

Tommy's grip on Kimberly tightened as he nodded. "Yes Jason, by me. We're going to be having a baby." Jason nodded, remaining silent. The pair looked to James and Melissa. "Mom? Dad? Please say something. We didn't plan on this to happen but it's here now and we're ready. I know it's an early start but I know we can do it and we can be good parents."

James rubbed his temples, asking sternly "You were having sex in our house? We trusted you enough to share a room and you were having sex?"

A wave of discomfort flooded through all of the teenagers, Tommy and Kimberly suddenly wishing that they had told the Olivers separately to their friends just to have avoided this topic. Tommy rubbed the back of his neck, responding. "It wasn't like that Dad, we didn't plan it, it just happened. We both decided we were ready and we wanted to take that step."

"Well clearly you weren't ready or you would've been more careful."

"We were careful Dad." Tommy's eyes narrowed, he hadn't expected his parents to be enthusiastic by the news right away, but he would've thought that they'd at least wait to have this conversation in private. "We did everything that we should have but I guess we were part of the small percentage and that's ok, we can do this."

Melissa looked between her husband and son as the confrontation was slowly escalating before she turned to look at Kimberly. Her heart restricted as the girl seemed to curl into herself and it was clear in her eyes that their opinion of the situation meant an awful lot to her. Though she wasn't ecstatic about the situation they found themselves in, they were here and she was going to support them. She turned to her husband. "James, why don't you go outside, take a moment and breathe and come back in when you've thought about it a bit more." James agreed, seeing that his wife was more in control than he was. Melissa turned to Kimberly and opened her arms."Come here Sweetheart." The girl walked into her arms, hugging her tightly which the woman returned. "It is unexpected news and it will take us time to adjust, but if you're both happy and if this is what you want, then we'll be there to support you 100% of the way."

Kimberly tightened her arms around her mother figure, whispering. "Thank you." Kimberly pulled back and turned to Jason. "Jase, please say something."

The former leader sighed, knowing how much his opinion meant to her. "Are you happy about this?"

"I am, I'm scared and nervous about how we're going to do it all but I'm excited and I can't wait for us to start our little family. I'm really happy."

The boy audibly sighed, "Then who am I to rain on your parade." Kimberly smiled, hugging him tightly. He kissed the top of her head. "I love you Lil Sis and I'm really happy for you." He looked over to Tommy. "I'm happy for you too Bro, but you better take good care of my little sister and my niece or nephew or you'll be dealing with me."

Tommy rolled his eyes as Kimberly gently slapped his shoulder. "You don't have to worry Man, I'll take good care of them."

Seeing that the awkwardness had left, the girls immediately swarmed Kimberly, hugging her tightly and admiring her ring. She smiled as she felt Rocky wrap his arms over her in a bear hug. "Congratulations Little Crane, you're gonna be a great mom."

"Thanks Rocky."

A few moments later, Melissa went outside to get James and Adam took the moment to ask. "Are you going to tell Zordon and Alpha?"

The couple looked down - knowing their friends weren't going to be happy with the information - and Kimberly responded. "We've already told them." A unanimous 'WHAT' made them both laugh. "After I told Tommy, we went to the command center and told them about the engagement and the pregnancy. It was the day we asked you guys to teleport there to say goodbye to our ranger life."

Trini asked in disbelief. "So you've known all this time and so have Alpha and Zordon, but you're only telling us now?"

Tommy carefully responded. "We had to wait until the safe period to tell you all about the pregnancy and we figured that we may as well tell everyone the news all at once."

Billy looked on thoughtfully. "It does make sense that Alpha and Zordon were the first to know." The group looked at him in disbelief so he continued. "We all think of Alpha and Zordon as family and as our mentors and we know that Tommy and Kimberly's relationship with them goes beyond our own, it is unsurprising that they would be the first to hear the news of their engagement and expected child."

They reluctantly agreed, Jason pouting. "I still should've known first, I'm your big brother Kim."

Rocky, Billy and Adam argued with him on the same point whilst Trini argued that she was Kimberly's best friend, Tanya and Kat shook their head, quietly laughing at the scene. "Well we're his parents, if anyone should've known first, it's us." The group looked to James as he and Melissa entered, James addressing them. "I'm sorry, it was a lot to take in and I still have some adjusting to do, but I support you."

The couple smiled, Tommy responding. "Thanks Dad."

The expecting couple decided that they wanted to be married before their baby was born so they had a small ceremony with their friends and Tommy's parents in the park so they'd be officially married. They would do a real ceremony later on when they had more money and their baby was old enough to remember and understand what was happening. Rocky, Adam, Billy and Zack were Tommy's best men and Trini, Kat, Tanya and Aisha – who came back from Africa just for the occasion – were Kimberly's bridesmaids with Jason giving the girl away. It was a beautiful ceremony in the place where the couple had shared a lot of their big moments - and a fair share of ranger battles.

After the ceremony, they had gone back to James and Melissa's house which had been decorated for the occasion as a small reception for the wedding. Choosing to save the traditional reception festivities for their future wedding, they simply had a nice meal surrounded by friends and family. Coming to the conclusion of the reception, they announced to the group that they were expecting twins - a girl and a boy - to be born three months after the date.

The twins had been too big for Kimberly to birth them naturally and she had been taken in early to have a C-section to deliver the babies. The next day, Tommy and Kimberly were sitting on her hospital bed, each with a twin in their arms. Kimberly was nursing their little boy who was almost a spitting image of Tommy – possessing all his features – with the exception of his caramel coloured hair that he inherited from his mother. Meanwhile, Tommy was nursing their little girl who inherited her mother's doe brown eyes and caramel coloured hair, but all of her features were from her father.

The young couple sat together with their children as they awaited the arrival of their friends, who had been so desperate to meet the children. Tommy's parents had already been up to meet the grandchildren the night before, immediately falling in love with the babies. Tommy smiled at his wife and moved closer beside her, placing a kiss on her forehead. Kimberly smiled up at him. "Can you believe that they're actually here? We have our babies, they're ours."

"Yeah, they are." He could not contain his pride as he looked between his children and his wife. "They're beautiful Kim, you did well Beautiful."

Kimberly leant into him, still looking between her children. "I love you Handsome."

"I love you too." He went to lean in for a kiss but he heard a quiet knock on the door and sighed dramatically. "I wonder who that is." He saw Trini poke her head through the door and smiled as he could see the sheer excitement on her face. "You can all come in Tri but try to keep quiet, they've just fallen to sleep."

The group of former rangers came into the hospital room and it was clear as day that they were trying to mask their excitement. Jason looked between his niece and nephew before looking at Kimberly. "How are you Lil Sis?"

"I'm good, tired but nothing beats this feeling." She looked at the children before addressing the group. "Jase, Tri, Zack, Billy, Rocky, Aisha, Adam, Kat and Tanya, I'd like your to meet you niece and nephew: Kaitlin Terra and Jordan Blaze."

The group looked in awe of the children and all seemed hesitant to even breathe around the babies. Aisha looked down at the two children. "What made you pick the names?"

"Well," Tommy began. "We felt that the names needed to have meaning and you guys have been like our second family so we wanted to include your names in some way so we found a way to include all of your initials into the names." Their gasp was audible and they looked at the small paper for each twin revealing their names and sure enough Trini, Aisha, Kat and Tanya could find their first initial in Kaitlin's name whilst Jason, Billy, Zack, Rocky and Adam could find their first initial in Jordan's first and middle name. "And as for their middle names, none of this would've happened if it hadn't have been for our time as rangers so we wanted the names to always be a reminder of that so Terra is for Kim's first set of powers from the pink pterodactyl and Blaze is for my time in red."

He could see the tears in all of their eyes – even if the guys wouldn't admit it – and smiled as Trini whispered. "I think it's perfect, nothing could fit them better."

Kimberly looked down at her children. "Kaitlin, Jordan, I want you to meet your aunties and uncles: Uncle Jase, Aunty Tri, Uncle Zack, Uncle Billy, Uncle Rocky, Aunty Sha, Uncle Adam, Aunty Kat and Aunty Tanya. They're your second family now babies and you'll love them as much as we do and as much as they love you."

Once the couple had been released from the hospital with their children and had a few days to get settled into being parents, they decided it was time to do something they had waited for since they had found out they were expecting. With the twins having been fed and changed, they were content in being held by their parents. Kimberly held Kaitlin and Tommy held Jordan as they pressed on their old communicators and teleported to the command center, relieved to find it was only Zordon and Alpha.

Alpha greeted them immediately. "Ay yi yi, Tommy, Kimberly, it's great to see you."

Kimberly smiled at the robot. "It's good to see you too Alpha." She looked up at Zordon. "You as well Zordon." She looked down at Kaitlin, then over at Jordan in Tommy's arms before facing her mentors again. "Zordon, Alpha, we have two little people that we'd like you to meet. These are our children, Jordan Blaze and Kaitlin Terra Oliver."

The being smiled down at the two of his former rangers. Once joining the team, all of the rangers became like his own children, however, he always had a special relationship with Tommy and Kimberly. Zordon spoke as quietly as he could as to not disturb the children. "CONGRATULATION MY CHILDREN, THEY TRULY ARE A GIFT. YOU HAVE BOTH OVERCOME MANY OBSTACLES TO GET HERE AND I HAVE NO DOUBT YOU WILL BE FANTASTIC PARENTS."

Kimberly smiled, "Thank you Zordon, it means the world to us coming from you." She looked at Tommy, who nodded, and she continued. "We wanted to thank you and Alpha for everything. None of this would've happened if we didn't become rangers and we are so grateful for the experience. We made our own little family with the rangers and that grew across each of the teams and we are so thankful to have you and Alpha. So we used Terra and Blaze as a little tribute to you and our time as rangers. We love you and Alpha and I know the twins will too."

Zordon smiled down at the couple. "I SHARE A SIMILAR AFFECTION FOR YOU BOTH AS WELL YOUNG CRANE."

Observing the tense moment, Alpha spoke up. "Oh, all this human emotion."

Tommy looked down at Kimberly, wrapping the arm that wasn't holding his son around her and placing a kiss on her forehead. Everything that they'd been through had happened for a reason and despite the obstacles, they ended up where they wanted to be and neither of them wanted to be anywhere else than where they were right now.
