Go, go, S.P.D!
Up in space, in the year 2025, a spaceship was hovering above a planet.
"We have taken all we can from Alandria. The life forms have fled, and the planet is useless to me." a voice hissed, as the ship flew off. "Destroy it!"
The planet blew up into a million pieces, while on the ship, it's commander laughed evilly. He was a green skinned alien with bright red eyes, which glowed, had a large horn on the left side of his head, the right one having been sliced off years ago, with bones for his chest armor, a small cape on his back, and he held a staff with an axe head. His name was Emperor Grumm, leader of the evil Troobian Empire.
On Earth, a bunch of humans and aliens alike were walking through a city call New Tech City, which had some floating vehicles in the sky.
Narrator: In the not too distant future...
The screen showed two sections, one on the top showing aliens and Humans walking together peacefully.
...Earth has become a haven for all alien races...
The bottom section showed alien with a human body and green face turning to look forward.
...who come from the farthest reaches of the galaxy...
The screen split in half, the left side showing green normal alien shaking hands with a Human man, while the right side showed a purple alien boy playing basketball with a Human boy.
...to live in peace.
The alien boy shot the ball up towards the hoop.
An alien family sat with a Human woman at a table, as a waiter poured a drink for her, while other Humans sat nearby.
99% of the newcomers, live in harmony.
"That's good." the woman said, as the waiter walked off.
The screen split in half diagonally, the bottom half showing the alien family, while the top showed an alien with black long hair and a scaly face, wearing armor, holding a stolen case, before the family disappeared.
But for the 1% who can't...
The alien turned as he heard a noise, and was then blasted by laser fire, making sparks come up from the ground.
"AHH!" he moaned.
He lost his case and went flying into a wall, smashing it open, knocking boxes over.
"OH!" he moaned, hitting the floor on his chest.
...there is Space Patrol Delta.
Four people wearing black/grey uniforms all step forward towards the hole. One was a white girl with blonde hair called Sydney 'Syd' Drew, one was a man called Schuyler 'Sky' Tate, one was a man called Bridge Carson, and the last was a Puerto Rician girl called Valentina 'Val' Lopez. They all wore grey uniforms with brown bits running down their right arms and chests, with a silver small rectangular badge on their left with the letters 'SPD' on, with a another badge on their right with the word 'Police' on, with a wolf/dog's head on. The SPD letters were also on their right arms, as well as a white high-tech blaster on their right hips. All four of them also had a special ability which they'd had since they were kids.
The new breed of police to bring them in.
Sky brought out his blaster and looked around, as it had a small light up, holding his left hand beneath his right elbow. Syd and Val both looked around, as Bridge looked at some crates and barrels.
"You can hide monster. Well, actually, you can't really hide." Bridge joked, who wore black gloves.
He took off his right glove and waved his hand around, creating a psychometry wave, that could track and read people's auras, which was his power, but due to how it worked, he had to wear gloves until he needed to use it. He saw an image of the alien, who ran and hit behind a crate.
"Prep at 2 o'clock." he said.
Syd turned and prepared to fight, but was facing away from the crate.
"That's 9 o'clock, Syd." Bridge said.
"Got it." Syd said, turning to the crate.
She took something off her belt, which had a bunch of nuggets on, then held one it, turning her fist into iron, as it was an iron nugget.
"Fist of Iron!" she shouted.
She opened up her hand as she pulled it back, then clutched her fist, before she jumped slightly and slammed it into the crate, smashing it open, making the alien pop out.
"AH!" he yelled.
Sky gasped as the alien jumped forward, making Syd lean back to avoid him, as he dived towards Sky. Sky waved his right arm around, creating a shield, which the alien hit and bounced off, making him flying away.
"Uh!" he moaned, before hitting the floor.
He rolled backwards onto his chest, then got up and ran off, as Sky, Bridge and Syd all stared at him, holding their blasters.
"Let's... Wait, where's Val?" Sky asked, noticing she was missing.
The three of them looked around, as the alien kept on running, when a leg stuck out from a wall, tripping him up onto his chest.
"Oh!" he moaned.
"There!" Bridge said, pointing at the leg.
Sky and Syd turned to the alien, who turned to where the leg was, before Val came out of the wall like a chameleon, as she could camouflage herself against objects.
"Now where do you think you're going?" she asked, holding her blaster.
The alien snarled and sent a kick at her, but missed as she dodged and rolled away, before she got up near the others.
"Sneaky move." Sky said. "Go!"
The alien turned as the four Humans charged at him, before he fired lighting from his hand, which hit the floor behind them, making sparks come up from it. He fired more lighting, which hit and made more sparks come up from the floor, then fired again, making sparks come up right behind them. He turned and jumped slightly as Syd tried to kick him slightly, then she skidded down to tackle him, as Bridge jumped and spun around to kick him, but they both missed as he did several backwards handsprings.
He landed crouched down, then looked up, then he ducked and moved past Sky, who spun around to kick him, before he twirled around, then he turned and blocked a kick from Val with his hands, before she rolled past him as he tried to kick her. He then blocked a kick from Syd with his left hand, then blocked one from Sky with his right, then he tried to whack Syd as Bridge ran past him from behind, but missed as Syd did a backwards handspring. She did a few more as he came at her and tried to punch him several times, before she kicked his hands hand, knocking him back slightly. He turned as Val came up behind him, then kicked his back, knocking him forward slightly, before she did two backwards handsprings as he tried to punch her.
He turned to Bridge, who jumped up and twirled around, kicking his hand, as Syd ran over to Sky, before Bridge landed on his side, then tripped the alien up onto his back. Sky and Syd took each other's hand, then Sky lifted her up slightly, allowing her to side flip through the air, as Bridge side flipped past her, then once Syd put her feet on the floor, she kicked the alien's chest, knocking him back slightly. He turned as Val came over and kicked his left arm, knocking him back, then he turned and jumped away past a barrel.
Syd did several backwards handsprings and back flips before she stopped in front of him, aiming her blaster at him. She held up her blaster, before the alien turned right, but saw Bridge aiming his blaster at him. He turned right again, but saw Sky aiming his blaster at him, then turned right again, but saw Val aiming his blaster at him, trapping him from all sides.
"AHH!" he growled, raising his arms up, which glowed red.
He shot lighting from his hands, making all four Humans jump backwards and twirl around sideways, as sparks came up from the floor.
"Ah!" Syd grunted.
She landed on her feet, then fired her blaster, hitting the alien's chest. Bridge jumped up and spun around, kicking his arms slightly with both feet, making him stumble back. Val then ran at him as he turned, then ducked and skidded past him as he tried to punch her, before she tackled his legs, tripping him up and making him stumble away. He stopped and turned slightly, before Sky jumped up, but then he fired lighting from his hand, which missed as Sky back flipped through the air, making sparks come up from the floor. Sky then landed crouched down and fired his blaster, hitting the alien's chest, knocking him against a pillar.
"Ah!" he moaned, as sparks came from it.
He fell onto his chest out cold.
The four Humans put their blasters in their holders as they gathered together, before Sky took out a small radio. (Val was on Syd's left)
"Sky Tate reporting in, mission complete." he said into it. "Please advise."
A cat alien women called Katherine 'Kat' Manx came towards them all through the hole in the wall.
"Well done, Cadets." she said, holding a tablet. "Your training progresses nicely."
"Uh, Kat?" Bridge asked, raising his hand.
He lowered his hand as Sky rolled his eyes slightly.
"Uh, I-I-I-I-I mean, uh, ma'am?" Bridge said, as everyone looked at him. "I mean, uh, I mean, Ms. Manx? We were all wondering... We know there's A-Squad Power Rangers and we're B-Squad Cadets."
Kat nodded slightly.
"Not that there's anything wrong with being a B-Squad Cadet, or a C-Squad or a D-Squad..." Bridge added quickly.
"Let me translate?" Syd asked. "I speak fluent Bridge. He wants to know when we're getting those great designer colored suits?"
"Same here. I mean, we've been here long enough to get curious." Val said.
"Kat, I've told them. It's not about the suits or the weapons, it's about helping people, and upholding tradition of being a Power Ranger." Sky assured.
"That's up to Commander Cruger." Kat explained, as he was the head of the base.
She pressed a button on the tablet.
"Not me." she assured.
The room changed from the warehouse to a white room, with the 'Police' badge on both end, and the words 'SPD' beneath it on one end, as it had been a simulation.
"Dismissed." Kat said.
The four Cadets all punched their right arms out, holding their fists by their chests, as it was the salute. Sky backed away, followed by the girls and Bridge, as they all turned and walked out through a door.
Kat looked at the tablet, as the alien stood behind her, breathing hard, before she turned around and held a remote, pressing a button on it.
"AHH!" the alien yelled.
He turned into a Human man called Boom, who wore a blue one-piece outfit with silver lines on, which covered all but his face.
"AHH!" he moaned.
Kat turned away to the door as Boom lifted his head up.
"Best Cadets...ever, Kat." Boom admitted.
"Agreed." Kat said, as Boom lowered the head part of his outfit. "And you, Boom, my eager assistant, job well done."
Boom shook his head, as he was slightly dizzy.
Meanwhile, the outside of the SPD base - know as the Delta Base - was big, about 30 stories tall, with the top having a dog/wolf's head in the center, and front paw shapes on the top front corners. It also had two sirens on either side of itself, and the 'Police' badge in the middle of its front.
In the main control room, which was the Command Room, a bunch of Humans and aliens alike were wearing dark navy blue or cream uniforms. They were all working on panels, that were all around and in the center of the room. A woman in blue walked past an alien woman in cream with a shell like head.
"Get those charts." a woman said.
"Yes, sir." a man said.
Two men in cream walked towards the left panels, passing by a women in blue, and a blue-fish alien in cream, working on the middle panel.
"Right here." a man said.
"Great." another said.
One man in blue turned away from a panel and walked past the main desk, which was where the Boss sat.
"...9, double 0. Coordinate 9-9-3, confirmed."
A man in cream approached the desk.
"Commander Cruger, sir, we have a problem in the-" he began, doing the salute.
"9th Quadrant. I am aware." the Boss said.
He turned his chair around to him, showing he was an alien dog called Anubis 'Doggie' Cruger, who was a Sirian from the planet Sirius. His uniform was different from the others, as it was leather, with a light black color on, silver shoulder pads, and bits of red on, and had a irregular rectangle badge opposite his 'Police' one.
"Alandria has been destroyed. That is not a lot of time and much to be done." he said. "He is coming!"
Far away in space, Grumm's ship flew past several stars, with a few fighters flying around it.
Grumm himself was in the control room, turning his chair around from the control panel.
"Beware Earth, your end has begun." he declared, before his eyes glowed red.
Back on Earth, Boom was wearing a cast on his right arm, when he entered the Delta Base's Common Room, where Syd, Bridge and Val were all sat on a couch near a table with a weird chessboard, as the pieces were green and orange. They turned to Boom as he approached them, holding of tray of gelatin in his left hand, while other Cadets were around the room. One was working on laptop, while two were playing old arcade games, while others sat by the window.
"Boom, did we do that?" Syd asked, gasping.
"Nah. You guys just dislocated my shoulder." Boom explained, stopping by the Cadets. "Popped it back in and it's as good as gold. See. Ah!"
He moved his arm slightly, giving it some pain.
"Si, good as gold." Val said sarcastically. "What is that then?"
"Oh, this is Kat's new arm cast laser." Boom explained. "Cool, huh?"
Bridge got up to examine it.
"Anyway, uh, I gotta go. So, bye." Boom said.
He tried to move his right arm, but it wouldn't.
"Ah!" he yelped, before he turned the tray, dropping the gelatin onto the floor. "Ah!"
He dropped the tray, which hit his foot, making him flinch, then when he and Bridge went to pick it up, a laser shot from the cast, hitting the back wall.
"Ah!" Syd gasped, covering her mouth.
Boom and Bridge looked up as Val opened her mouth wide, just as smoke came from the hole in the wall.
"Uh..." Boom muttered, as the door opened, and Sky came in.
"Boom!" he roared.
"Ah!" Boom gasped.
He and the girls turned around as Bridge ducked and held his arms up.
"Clean up your mess?" Sky ordered.
"Yes, sir. Sir..." Boom said, as Sky approached him, as Bridge sat back down. "Which mess?"
"Start with the last one you made, then work backwards." Sky suggested, stopping by him.
"Yes, sir." Boom understood.
He began walking backwards towards the door, as Sky turned to the others.
"Sky, that's a bit harsh!" Val snapped. "It was an accident."
"Yeah, lighten up, Sky." Syd said. "Boom's a great guy. A little weird, but a great guy."
"Yeah, well, someday our lives may depend on that great guy." Sky said, before he moved a green piece along the chessboard. "And then what?"
"I know." Bridge said, holding up his hand. "I know."
Everyone turned to him.
"Then our lives will depend on him." Bridge said.
"Oh, hermano." Val muttered, folding her arms.
Sky rolled his eyes, for he got annoyed whenever Val spoke Spanish.
"Commander Cruger wants to see us, now." he said, before he walked off.
In the Command Room, Cruger was looking at the 6 A-Squad Rangers, whose helmets resembled the Space Ranger ones, with Green's and Purple's resembling the Black and Orange Space Rangers' respectfully, but they all had the 'Police' badge in place of the helmet symbols. They all held a long blaster, and wore armor like the GSA body armor. (Purple was on Yellow's right)
"Listen carefully, A-Squad, preparation is the key to any tactical defence. Report to Delta Airbase for last minute simulation instruction." Cruger explained, as he paced in front of them, before he stopped in front of Red. "Earth depends on you. Dismissed."
"Yes, sir." A-Squad said, holding their blasters up.
They all turned around as the door opened up, then they ran off one-by-one in single file, Red in the front, Purple at the back.
"Good luck, A-Squad." Cruger said, as they turned right down the hallway.
In the hallway, A-Squad kept on running, when B-Squad came towards them all, making them move aside for their superiors. (Val was between Sky and Syd)
"Attention!" Sky said.
He, Val and Syd all stood at ease as A-Squad past them, but when Bridge went to do the same, Purple accidently bumped into him.
"Ah!" he yelped, turning slightly.
He took off his right glove and waved his hand, reading A-Squad's auras, which was an odd color, as other Cadets passed them all, Humans and an alien fish.
"That is who I'm wanna be. I'm gonna be the Red Ranger." Sky said.
"Geez, did you see the size of them?" Syd asked, turning to Sky, then back to Bridge, as the fish alien and a woman passed them. "Even the girls are massive."
"It might only be the suits, Syd." Val reasoned.
Bridge turned to the others, looking puzzled.
"What's wrong, Bridge?" Syd asked.
"I don't know." Bridge said, turning back. "Their energy, their colors? Something's off."
Sky frowned slightly, confused, while Val looked puzzled.
The four Cadets all entered the Command Room, as Cruger looked at them all.
"Cadets." he addressed.
The Cadets all saluted while standing in a line. (Val was between Sky and Bridge)
"I trust you've enjoyed your training here at the SPD academy?" Cruger asked.
"Well, since you asked, fluorescent lighting gives me a bit of a headache..." Syd began, making Cruger growl. "Yes, sir."
"And not that your training has ended, or will it ever end while you're here, but as your Commander I must now call upon B-Squad to step up and take on new responsibilities." Cruger explained.
"Yes." Bridge whispered, punching his fist down.
He and Syd bumped their fists together as they all smiled.
"So, what's our first assignment, Commander?" Val asked.
Later, the four Cadets all walked down a set of steps at the market, which was their assignment, to Syd's annoyance. (Val was on Bridge's left)
"I thought new responsibilities meant kicking some intergalactic freakazoid butt." she said, as people walked past them, or sat at tables at the market, which had some balloons near one. "All the data device says is bring in the Pakington Market thieves."
"It's code, no doubt." Bridge said, scratching his head. "What do you think it means?"
They walked down another set of steps towards the table with the balloons.
"Bring in the Pakington Market thieves." Sky answered.
"You know, Sky, you are good." Bridge remarked, as they stopped.
"Well, they always say, start with the easy stuff before moving onto the harder stuff." Val reasoned.
"Good point." Bridge agreed.
"Stop, thieves!" a man yelled.
The four Cadets saw a African-American man with short dreadlock hair called Jack Landors and a woman with short brown hair called Elizabeth 'Z' Delgado, who had a black beanie on her head, running towards them, holding a bunch of clothes, while being chased by the man. Jack jumped over a bench, as Z pushed an alien aside, then Jack pushed Human man aside.
"Whoa!" he yelped.
Jack and Z ran past a cart of boxes, which the man chasing them fell onto too, causing the food inside them to fall out, before the duo stopped in front of the Cadets.
"Outta the way! We don't wanna hurt you." Jack said.
"Hurt us?" Sky scoffed, as the man got up. "That's a good one."
"Oh." the man moaned.
"SPD, we'll take it from here." Syd said, holding up her badge.
"Thank you." the man said.
He turned and stumbled away.
"You may not be coming in peacefully, but you're coming in." Sky said.
Jack and Z dropped their stolen clothes, before Z's eyes glowed, then another Z popped up behind Syd.
"What about me?" she smirked.
The Cadets turned around to her, shocked.
"Huh?" Val muttered.
Syd spun around to kick the second Z, but it passed right through her.
"It's a hologram." she said. "It's not real."
Z 2 held her fists up, then kicked Syd's arm, knocking her down onto her chest as she turned.
"Okay, she's real." she muttered, as Z 2 ran off and vanished.
Jack and Z laughed, before they turned and ran off, as Sky and Bridge helped Syd up.
"They're getting away!" Val said, pointing at the duo.
"Let's get them." Syd said, as they ran after them.
Jack and Z both jumped and high-fived each other as they split up down a road, with Jack going left towards an area with a tent and a small truck, while Z ran up along a road with a railing ledge.
Sky and Bridge chased after Jack, while Syd and Val chased after Z.
Bridge got in front of Jack, making him stop and turn, seeing Sky behind him, trapping him. He knocked Bridge's arm down, then tried to whack Sky with his arm, who grabbed it, before he kicked Sky's chest, knocking him onto a table with some boxes.
"Ah!" he moaned, as one fell past him.
Syd and Val both grabbed Z's shoulders.
"Got you." Syd said.
"You're coming with us." Val said, as Z turned around.
She turned and kicked Val's chest, knocking her away, then she tried to punch Syd, but missed as she ducked, before trying to whack her, but Syd blocked it with her forearm. Syd grabbed her forearm and pulled on it, making her side flip to her right, before she put her feet on the ground, but then she pulled on Syd's arm, making Syd side flip to her left. She pulled Syd's arm down, before she pulled back, then she turned to Val, who came at her.
She ducked as Val spun around to kick her while moving past her, then she tried to punch her, but Val dodged, then she backed away as Val tried to kick her. She did a sideways handspring to avoid both Cadets, who spun around to kick him at the same time, then Syd spun around to trip her up, but missed as she jumped slightly while spinning around, before she stared at them both.
She ducked as Val spun around to kick her, then jumped up as Syd ducked and spun around to tackle her, then she elbowed Val slightly upon landing on her feet, knocking her back. Syd blocked a kick from her with her hands, then sent one at her, which she blocked with her arm, then Syd blocked a punch from her with her left arm. She ducked as Syd spun around to punch her, before she grabbed her left arm, then she pulled it down while turning away, then leaned forward and kicked Syd's back, knocking her away.
"Ah!" Syd yelped, before she turned around.
Z turned as Val ran past and tried to kick her, before they turned to each other, then she sent a kick at Val, who ducked to avoid it, then she dodged a punch from Val, who nearly hit her belly. She then spun around to whack Val with her right arm, but missed as Val grabbed it, then she pulled it down, before Z kicked her in the chest, knocking her towards Syd as she let go of her.
"Ah!" she moaned.
Syd caught her as they both stared at Z in annoyance, before they charged at her.
Down below, Jack ducked and ran past Bridge, who tried to punch him, before he leaned on a trolley while pushing it away slightly, kicking Bridge's back, knocking him away. Sky jumped and kicked the trolley, knocking it and Jack away, who hit a table cart with a bunch of shoeboxes on, knocking several away.
"Ah!" he moaned.
He pushed the trolley away, which nearly hit Bridge, who turned and jumped up, landing on his back on a table with plants. Sky came towards Jack, who threw a bunch of the shoeboxes at him, which missed him, before he spun around and leaned on a upper walkway, until he got to the end. Bridge came at him as Sky got onto the walkway, which he kicked his foot against, before getting onto it, while dodging a kick from Sky. He and Sky then grappled each other, before Sky threw him off the walkway, making him spin around before landing on his feet, as Bridge backed away. He then jumped and spun around, kicking Bridge's arm, knocking him down as he spun around.
"Ah!" he yelped, landing on a pillow.
Jack smirked as Sky came up behind him and grabbed his shoulder, before he grabbed Sky's arm and pulled him over, throwing him away.
"Ah!" Sky yelped, hitting a table, before he rolled off it.
"AHH!" Bridge yelled, charging forward.
Jack turned to him, before they grappled with each other, moving towards a clothes rack. Jack grabbed some of the clothes from it, then threw it onto Bridge's head, then pushed him away hard, sending him flying away.
"AHH!" Bridge yelled, hitting the cart and shoeboxes.
Up above, Z and Syd grappled with each other, as she kicked Val away slightly, then she pushed Syd back, as her eyes glowed. Another Z showed up behind each of the girl Cadets, catching them each, surprising them.
"¿Que?" Val exclaimed, turning around.
"Huh?" Syd muttered.
She turned around and tried to whack Z 2 with her arms, but missed as she ducked, as Val elbowed Z 3 slightly in the chest, breaking free of her, before she ducked as Val tried to kick her. Syd twirled around and ducked as Z 1 and 2 tried to punch her, before Z 1 moved away, as Z 2 kicked her in the side. Z 1 put her left hand on the ground as they both spun around to kick Syd, who did a backwards handspring towards the railing. She dodged as Z 2 tried to tackle her, then Z 1 and 2 both sideways handspringed past each other. Val dodged as Z 3 tried to punch her, before blocking a kick from her with her right elbow, before Z 3 kicked her in the side, making her stumble over to the railing, hitting it as Syd turned to her.
"¡Ay!" she moaned.
She turned around as Syd helped her slightly, before they stared at the Z's. Z 1 turned to her clones, who nodded, before they all got ready to fight, as Syd and Val stared at them.
"Hyah!" they yelled, charging at them.
Syd blocked a kick from Z 1 with her left hand, then blocked a kick from Z 2 with her right hand, while Val rolled past Z 3, who spun around to kick her, making her miss. Syd blocked a punch from Z 1 and 2 with her hands, then blocked another with her forearms, then blocked one from Z 2 with her forearms, then one from Z 1 with her hands. She blocked one from both of them with her forearms, then knocked their arms away, before they both punched her, knocking her against the railing.
She twirled around and dodged as Z 1 tried to kick her, as Z 2 came towards her, then she climbed over the railing as they both tried to kick her legs, then she turned around while holding the railing to keep her up. She ducked as Z 2 tried to punch her, then she flipped herself up over the railing as Z 1 spun around, then she spun around and tackled them both, tripping them up.
"Uh!" they moaned.
Val ducked as Z 3 tried to punch her, then she blocked a kick from her with her hands, before she sent one at her, but missed as she grabbed her forearm. She lifted it up, making Val move slightly while bending her chest down, before she kicked Val's back, knocking her away.
"Oh!" she moaned, hitting a wall.
She turned around to Z 3, who charged at her, before she spun around and tackled her, tripping her up and making her crash into the wall.
"OH!" she moaned, before falling onto her back.
Down below, Sky got up from behind the table and dived towards Jack, who somersaulted forward as he tried to whack his legs with his arm, before he landed on a table. He turned around as Sky and Bridge grabbed the end of the table, then lifted it up, but he jumped up and back flipped as the table flipped away, while Sky and Bridge moved away, before Jack kicked the table away.
"Whoa!" Bridge yelped, dodging as it hit the cart.
Jack landed on his feet, before he and Sky grappled with each other, before he kicked his feet on a table and back flipped away, making Sky let him go. They both grappled with each other again slightly, before Jack broke free and spun around, but then Sky pushed him from behind, knocking him onto a table full of food, knocking them over.
"Ah!" he moaned, falling onto the floor. "Whoa!"
"There you are." Bridge said, coming over.
Jack got up and ran off past Bridge, before he rolled over a trolley, before he ran off. He stopped against the wall that had the railing on top, before he turned around, seeing Sky and Bridge corner him.
"We got him." Sky said.
Jack looked at them both as they grinned.
"Say goodnight, friend." Sky said.
He and Bridge both jumped to grab him, but Jack turned and jumped through the wall, as he could phase though soiled objects.
"Whoa!" he yelped, as he did.
Sky and Bridge both hit the wall hard and fell onto their backs.
Up above, Syd tried to whack Z, who stood behind her and grabbed her arm - now without her clones - then she turned and grabbed Val's with her free hand, who tried to punch her. She pushed both Cadets towards the railing, making them fly over it towards the lower ground, as she jumped over it.
"Whoa!" she yelled.
"Ah!" Syd moaned, hitting the top of a tent.
Val dived past it as they both rolled around, before they hit a pile of boxes, as Z landed on her feet near them.
"Ah!" they moaned.
Z smirked as she stared at all four Cadets, who moaned, just as Jack came phasing out of the wall and looked at the Cadets too.
"I sorry we can't stay and play, but we gotta run." he said, pointing behind him.
Z laughed before they both turned and ran off.
The four Cadets pulled themselves up, annoyed by what happened, as all but Bridge dusted off their uniforms.
"That went well." he said.
The others turned to him with annoyance, for they didn't agree.
Later, the four Cadets were back in the Command Room of the Delta Base, as Cruger paced in front of them all. (Val was on Syd's left)
"You underestimated your opponent and were soundly defeated?" he said, before he turned to them.
"We are so not ready to be Rangers." Syd sighed.
"I'm ready." Sky said.
"Oh, so it must've been Syd, Val and I that let those two get away then?" Bridge inquired.
"We all failed back there." Val recalled. "Even you lost, Schuyler!"
Sky turned to her, looking slightly angry, but kept it in.
"Listen to yourselves, there is no team here. This is the issue you will have to overcome before you can become a Power Ranger." Cruger explained, punching his fist.
"Oh, I get it. All we have to do is stop blaming and criticizing and judging each other?" Syd inquired.
"You forgot to mention, failing to bring in suspects." Bridge said.
"And working better together." Val sighed.
"Right. Let's see, that puts us right on schedule to be Rangers around...never." Syd said.
"You will meet those two again." Cruger assured.
"Sir..." Sky began, stepping forward. "...the civilians, they were different. They had special abilities like we do."
"Yes, I know. Cadet Tate, come with me?" Cruger asked.
He turned and walked off, with Sky following him, leaving the others alone.
Meanwhile, Jack and Z were in an alley with a bunch of homeless Humans and aliens, handing out shoeboxes to them. One alien with a blue face spoke in his language and took three boxes from Jack, as Z gave two to a female alien.
"Thank you." a man said, taking three from Jack.
They all turned and walked off, before Jack picked up an empty box, as Z sat down on a crate.
"Jack?" Z said.
Jack sat down beside her and looked at her.
"We've been on the streets a long time together, and you're my best friend. You're like my brother. And brother, after five years of doing this, I say we change careers. I mean, I'm tried of playing Robin Hood." Z said.
She saw an elderly alien woman coming towards them with a walking stick, as Jack turned around to her.
"Oh, uh, I-I'm sorry. We don't have anything else to give out." Jack apologized. "M-Maybe tomorrow."
The alien woman turned and began to leave.
"Wait?" Jack said, getting up, taking off his vest. "Wait?"
The alien turned to him, before he gave it to her, as Z got to her feet. The alien sighed as she turned and walked off, while Z folded her arms, as Jack turned to her.
"What? She needed it." he said, as Z didn't look convinced. "Maybe her husband did, or her child."
Z sat back down and looked at him, as she was serious about wanting to change.
"Okay, okay, you're right." Jack gave in. "We gotta do something else."
"Okay." Z smiled, getting up.
"But after we do one more job?" Jack conditioned.
"Jack, do you really think some more food and some clothes are gonna make a difference?" Z asked. "If we're gonna make a change, then we're gonna have to be a part of something bigger."
"Yeah. Well, when you find something bigger, let me know?" Jack asked.
Z just stared at him.
Back in the Delta Base, Cruger and Sky were both walking down a hallway, before they stopped.
"Why a Red Ranger, Cadet?" Cruger asked, turning around.
"Lots of reasons, sir." Sky said. "I'm top on B-Squad in test scores, weaponry and in fighting."
Cruger nodded. "Even stealth?" he said.
"Well, I admit, Val's better in that area, due to her camouflage ability." Sky admitted. "But as you know, sir, my father was a Red Ranger. Ever since I was a little kid, I've trained for the day to become like my Dad, the next Red Ranger."
"You're father was one of the best of best of Rangers." Cruger said. "If you're anything like him, we will all benefit by your service. Dismissed."
"Thank you, sir." Sky said, saluting.
He turned and began to walk off.
"Cadet?" Cruger said.
Sky turned and walked back towards him.
"If I was to appoint Syd as Red Ranger, would you follow her into battle?" Cruger asked.
Sky scoffed. "Sir, she's a girl." he said.
"Or Bridge?" Cruger asked, deciding to leave Val out.
"I like Bridge, but in all honestly sir, he's not a leader." Sky said honestly.
"I see. Thank you for your honestly, Cadet." Cruger said. "That will be all."
"Sir." Sky said.
He saluted, before he turned and walked off.
"Hmm?" Cruger muttered, thinking about Sky's attitude.
In outer space, Grumm's spaceship was outside a SPD gateway, preventing him from moving it through it.
Inside, he stood in the shadows facing a robot with a blue-head X shape on.
"A Sirian space web? Anubis 'Doggie' Cruger is still alive." Grumm hissed. "The web is strong. I need a Proton Accelerator to move my ship through it. I have a contact on the Earth planet who will be able get me one. My ship may not be able to get through now, but a robot can."
He stepped out of the shadows.
"Get me what I ask, and let no one stop you!" he commanded, his eyes glowing as he clutched his fist.
"Yes, master." the Blue-Head said, bowing his head.
He turned right and walked off.
Back on Earth, now at night time, Jack and Z - who'd cloned herself into four - all stood at the back of a truck, all with a clothes rack. One Z pushed hers up the ramp and into the truck, then Jack began to follow her.
"I told you this would be a great score." he said.
He turned as the other Z's began to push theirs up the ramp, one by one.
"Good work, Z. Good work, Z. Good work, Z." he said.
The first two went into the truck, while the third - who was the real Z - pushed hers into the truck and moved back, allowing Jack to close it.
"You know, Z, if we put all of your selves together..." he began, as they walked down some steps. "...we could get unlimited amounts of food and clothes and-"
"No, Jack!" Z said, as they walked towards the front of the truck. "This is my last job for me and my selves, so we're packing up and doing it alone. You got it?"
"Help me?" a man called.
They both stopped by the front of the truck, when an alien with a green head and Human body came towards them with a device.
"Here, take this?" he asked, giving Jack a device that resembled a claw on one end, a cylinder on the other. "And don't let them have it? The future of the planet depends on it! Hide it?"
He turned as he heard a noise, while Jack and Z looked confused.
"AH!" he yelled.
He turned and ran over to a wall.
"AHH!" he screamed, before he climbed over it.
Both teens laughed.
"Why do the nuts of the world always seem to find you?" Z wondered.
Jack shrugged as he opened up the passenger's door, as Z turned and walked to the driver's side. As he did, he saw the Blue-Head dashed past them and dive over the wall, making him stop slightly.
"Just lucky, I guess." he said, getting into the truck.
Z got into the driver's side as he closed the door, then she started up the truck and drove it away. As they left the area, sparks and lighting came up from behind the wall, as Blue-Head was torturing the alien.
The next morning in the Delta Base, the four B-Squad Cadets were in the Command Room with others. As Sky paced around, and Val played with her nails, Syd and Bridge were doing rock, paper, scissors to keep themselves busy.
"Yes." Bridge said, holding his hands up as he won. "55 times in a row."
"Okay, enough?" Syd asked, making Val turn to them. "I'm officially bored to tears."
"Why?" Val asked. "Why are you bored, Syd?"
"Well, we get called to report an hour ago. Report to who?" Syd inquired.
"Whom." Bridge corrected.
"Never correct me again!" Syd snapped.
"Caray, ¿qué le pasa?" Val muttered, turning away.
"And speak English, will you?" Syd demanded.
Val and Bridge both stared at her as she clamed down.
"I'm sorry." she said. "I'm just a little tense watching walkathon boy wear a path in the floor."
They all turned to Sky, who looked up at them.
"If you have a problem with it, Sydney, make me stop?" he said, before he continued pacing.
"Okay, I maybe a girl, and I maybe cute, but no one..." Syd began.
She moved to pounce on Sky, making Val and Bridge try to pull them apart.
"Hey!" Bridge said.
"Guys, not now?" Val said.
The door opened up, and Cruger came in, making them all turn and stand at attention.
"I trust you're using this time to bond as a team?" he asked.
"Yes, sir." the Cadets said.
"Good. Come this way?" Cruger instructed, motioning them with his hand.
A little later, inside the SPD lab room, Kat was working on a computer when the door opened. She turned to it, as Cruger and the Cadets all came in, then she got up and walked to the front of it. Cruger let the Cadets pass him, before they turned and stood in a line, facing him and Kat, as Boom stood nearby. (Val was on Syd's right)
"Without going into details, Earth's ultimate survival dictates that I elevate your team to active status." Cruger explained. "Any questions?"
"Uh, yeah, uh, just one." Bridge said, holding his hand up as he stepped forward. "Did you say ultimate survival as in 'Earth maybe destroyed'?"
"I did." Cruger answered.
Bridge flinched slightly and moved back.
"Cadets, you've spent the last two years in simulated training, but this time, the game is real." Kat explained.
Boom held up a tray with five compact black and white devices, with red sirens on top, with a button between them. They also had the letters 'SPD' on one side, with three dots connected to words with a switch on the left side, saying from top to bottom, 'Change, phone, judge'. He smiled and approached Kat, who took one of the devices, before he turned to the Cadets.
"SPD Morphers." Kat explained, holding it up.
Val took one from the tray.
"They are, without a doubt..." Kat continued, as Syd took one. "...your best friend."
Bridge one of the morphers.
"There are also judgement scanners." Kat continued, as Sky took the last one, hoping it was red. "They will assess the the guilt of innocence of those you take into custody. Boom?"
Boom turned to her with his hands in his pocket, as he'd put the tray down.
"Guilty or innocent of eating the last slice of chocolate cake today?" she asked, holding the morpher up.
"Me?" Boom questioned.
Kat opened the morpher up in Judgement mode, which flicked from a red X in the top section, and a blue O in the bottom section.
"I-I..." Boom stuttered nervously. "Ah..."
He laughed as everyone stared at him.
"Ah, no." he said, folding his arms. "No, I didn't."
"The scanner reads body temperature pulse and electrical impulses, and renders a verdict." Kat explained, before the morpher stopped on the X. "Guilty."
"But-" Boom began.
"And it does not make mistakes." Kat explained clearly.
"Okay. I'm guilty." Boom admitted. "But it was just a piece of cake!"
Kat held the morpher up, sending a beam from the button, which hit Boom, trapping him into a tiny card called a Containment Card.
"Ah!" Bridge gasped, as everyone looked at it.
"¿De ninguna manera?" Val muttered.
"Okay." Boom said.
Kat bent down and picked up the card, before turning to the Cadets.
"Time to let Boom out now." Boom said.
"This makes transportation of the detainee a none issue." Kat explained, turning it around, showing the 'Police' symbol on the other side.
"Kat?" Boom said.
"You are trained and now equip. You are the new B-Squad Power Rangers." Cruger explained. "Congratulations."
"Yes!" Bridge said, punching his fist out, as the others smiled.
"Celebration can come later." Cruger said. "I need your immediate assistance on an urgent matter."
"Yes, sir." the Cadets said, expect Syd, who nodded.
"Follow me?" Cruger instructed.
He turned around and left the lab, followed by the Cadets.
"Hello? Kat?" Boom called.
Kat walked over to her computer, putting the card down beside it.
"Hello? I will never eat chocolate cake again." he promised.
Kat sat down and began to work on her computer.
Later, B-Squad was all in a garage at the bottom of the base, where a jeep and two white bikes were parked. Sky got onto one of the bikes and put on gloves, while Val did the same on the other.
"Coordinates of the..." Cruger began.
Bridge and Syd got into the jeep and strapped in.
"...of the street thieves location is locked into your..."
Sky put his helmet on.
"...vehicle's computers."
Val put her helmet on, before they all turned on the sirens and raced off past a pillar, then up a ramp. Sky raced his bike out of it, followed by Bridge - who was driving the jeep - then Val on her bike, bringing up the rear.
Somewhere in the city, Jack was inside the truck, which was parked by a warehouse, as Z stood outside the back of it. Z handed a sliver-headed alien a poncho, before Jack handed her some pants, which she handed to a green-skinned scaly alien, leaving only one left, who's head resembled Baboo's, and some Humans.
"Thank you." the scaly alien said.
"Well, this is all that's left." Jack said.
Z looked at him as he came out with the device they were given last night, as she gave some Humans some clothes.
"You can't eat it or wear it. It has no value." he said, throwing it away.
The device hit and landed in a bin.
"Ha." he said.
Z folded her arms and rolled her eyes, as he jumped down from the truck, a finger to his lips.
"Now did you see how much those people appreciated what we gave them?" he asked.
"Yeah, it kinda gave me that warm and fuzzy feeling, that I hate so much." Z said. "And no, I didn't change my mind about wanting to do something bigger."
She walked off past the truck as Jack sighed, before he turned and followed her, as energy came out of the bin. They both stopped as the Cadets arrived and pulled over their vehicles.
"Oh, man!" Jack groaned.
Sky and Val took off their helmets and got off their bikes, as Bridge and Syd got out of the jeep, before they stood together. (Val was on Bridge's left)
"Nice to see you two again." Sky said, as he and Val took off their gloves.
"I told you we should've quit while we were ahead, Jack." Z said.
"Don't worry. I'll take care of this and we'll be on our way." Jack said. "AH!"
He charged at the Cadets, before Sky waved his arm around, creating a forcefield, which Jack hit.
"Ah!" he yelped, before he went flying back and hit the ground. "Oh!"
"Jack!" Z gasped.
She bent down near him as he sat up.
"Guess what; you're not the only one with tricks." Sky smirked.
"Jack, let's get outta here." Z suggested, helping him up.
"Can't do that!" he argued. "We need to finish this here and now or these clowns will be bugging us forever."
They all got ready to fight.
"Yah!" Jack yelled.
He and Z charged at the Cadets, who charged back at them both.
Jack jumped and spun around to kick Sky, but missed as he ducked, then he turned and tried to kick Val, but missed as she rolled away. He jumped and rolled over a crate to the side of the truck, as Sky and Val both chased him, rolling over it themselves, before Jack turned to them. He sent two kicks at Sky, who blocked them with his hands, then he jumped and spun around to kick both Cadets, but they both ducked, then he dodged as Val sent a punch at him.
Z tried to punch Bridge, who grabbed her arm and pushed her away.
"Listen, I think we should about this in the smoothest, most respectful way possibly." Bridge said. "Each valuing each other's humanity and dignity and-"
"Yah!" Z yelled, spinning around to kick him, but missed as he ducked.
"Or not." he said.
Z came at him as he turned and ran off.
Jack spun around to kick Sky, who ducked, then he sent one at Val, who blocked it with her hands, then Sky tried to punch him, but missed as he ducked ran off.
"Whoa!" he yelped.
Sky turned around, as Jack climbed onto the crate, then up to the top of the truck, before he ran along it. Sky glared at him, as he jumped off the truck and landed on a car's roof, then he side flipped off it, as Sky turned and came towards him. He jumped and kicked Sky's arm, knocking him back, before they glared at each other, before Jack noticed something.
"Where's your friend?" he asked.
He looked around slightly, when a pair of hands grabbed him from behind, coming from the car.
"What?" he gasped.
He turned his head, to see Val coming out, turning off her camouflage.
"Surprise, amigo." she grinned, jokingly.
She giggled and kicked the back of his leg, making him fall down slightly, before she jumped over him as he tried to punch her legs, before she landed by Sky.
Z rolled over another car's hood, before Syd side flipped past the front of it, as Bridge jumped and slid along it's roof, trapping her. She turned from Bridge to Syd, before she spun around to whack Syd with her arm, then to kick Bridge, but missed as they both ducked. Bridge leaned on a barrel and spun around to kick her, but missed as she rolled past him, then Syd jumped and kicked her feet against the car, before she dived to kick Z as she got up, but missed as she leaned back. She rolled over a crate as Syd spun around to kick her again, then she ran off slightly as Bridge rolled over it to kick her, but instead hit a small barrel.
Syd sideways handspringed over the crate, before Z sent a kick at Bridge, but missed as he ducked, but then Syd kicked her hand, knocking her against a black car. She stared at both Cadets, then dodged as Syd tried to ram her, making her hit the car and bend down, while also dodging a punch from Bridge. She put her hands on Syd's back, then kicked her feet against Bridge, before she jumped over Syd, landing on her feet as she turned around, then she jumped slightly, kicking Syd away. Bridge came at her to punch her, but missed as she did a backwards handspring, but then he bent down, allowing Syd to leap frog over him, before she back flipped towards Z, who then blocked a kick from her with her hands.
Sky ducked as Jack tried to punch him, before Val ducked and punched his belly slightly, then Sky grabbed his right arm as he tried again. He blocked a punch from Sky with his right arm, then blocked one from Val with his left, before Sky banged his arm against his chest, knocking him against a crate.
"Ah! Ah!" he moaned, banging into it.
He clutched his chest as Z got knocked into the crate right next to him, before she moved to his right.
"We're not doing as well as before, bro." Z said frantically, as the Cadets gathered together. "Any suggestions?"
"Run." Jack said.
They both turned and ran off.
"Huh?" Sky muttered.
The Cadets chased after the duo, jumping over a crate, kicking their feet against a tire, before they all side flipped and landed near each other, making the duo stop near their vehicles. (Val was on Bridge's left)
"You're both accused of stealing and distributing stolen goods." Sky said, holding up his morpher, the arrow on Judge.
"Can you prove it?" Jack demanded.
"Actually, yes we can." Bridge answered.
Sky pressed the button on his morpher, opening it up, starting the judgement scanner, which stopped on the X.
"Guilty." Bridge said.
"Any chance of going two outta three?" Z asked, but none of them answered. "Didn't think so."
She and Jack turned to each other, before back to the Cadets.
"Wait?" Z asked.
"What is it?" Sky said.
"What are you gonna do with us?" Z asked.
"There' no harm in telling them, guys." Val reasoned.
"Well, it's actually quite fascinating. We're gonna blast you with anti-matter fusion, which reduces you to approximately this big, and this thin." Bridge began, holding his hands up, his right having a gap for the height, his left barely together for the thin.
Syd rolled her eyes as Jack and Z turned to each other confused.
"Simultaneously, you inserted into a confinement card..." Bridge continued, as Sky sighed and turned to him. "...where you're shipped off for filing, until...uh, you're time is served."
"In other words, you'll be trapped in a card until you've served your jail time." Val explained, translating.
"You had to ask, Z?" Jack said sarcastically.
"You do the crime, you pay the time." Syd said. "I always wanted to say that."
"Enough of the small talk!" Sky said, having enough.
He held up his morpher, when the Blue-Head dived down and landed between the duo and the Cadets, who all looked at him. It held up a small sphere sliver device with black dots on, then he threw it up into the sky. It shattered open, making dozens of similar robots come out, only they had white heads with seven black dots on, five on the front, one on each side, and were called Krybots. They all landed around the area, surrounding the Cadets.
"Huh?" Jack and Z muttered.
The Krybots all lifted their arms up and down, making a dinging sound as they did, several with a mounted blade on their left hands.
The Cadets all got ready to fight as they stood together.
"That's okay. A few extra friends won't bother us." Sky smirked.
"Hate to break it to you, but these aren't our friends." Jack said honestly, as Z smiled. "So, with our deepest apologies, we'll take this oppertunity to be on our way."
He bowed his head as Blue-Head snarled.
"Good luck." Jack said, before laughing. "Let's go, Z."
He and Z both turned around and ran off towards a tunnel between two buildings, leaving the Cadets surrounded by the Krybots.
Spanish translations:
Si: Yeah.
Oh, hermano: Oh, brother.
¿Que?: What the?
¡Ay!: Ouch!
Caray, ¿qué le pasa?: Geez, what's wrong with her.
¿De ninguna manera?: No way?
Amigo: Friend.
A/N: Val's genetic power allows her to camouflage herself against objects and vehicles, like Trent's power on DT, allowing her to spy and sneak up on people. (She can only do it when unmorphed)
I don't want any ideas for original chapters for this season, 'cause due to the episodes being one-word titles, I thought of these ones in advance, keeping them in reserve for this season.
You all probably know why Val's purple, due to the episode Boom featuring a fake Orange Ranger, not to mention Kat's suit considers her that over white.
