Melody's POV, ?

When I was a kid, I was known to be almost the top of the class. Not in intelligence. Let's just say I'm nearly one of the fittest girls at my old school.

Life was great during my childhood. I had a lot of friends and I always enjoyed their company. Sometimes, they would ask me to help them with practicing for sport, dancing or music. Sometimes, they asked me to style their hair and I would try to do one that fit their personality.

However, there was one main obstacle I faced through.

Because I was deemed to be one of the 'popular girls', I noticed a lot of spite these people could have.

I know a lot of students who used social media and make mean comments or nasty images of other people.

At lunchtimes, I would be around some girls and they would start gossiping on one of my friends or an 'ugly-looking' student. Even when one of them was away, they would gossip about that girl as well.

At rare times, I would see boys getting rough each other and it even resulted in bullying. I spotted a few people being stuffed into lockers or getting a wedgie. I was relieved that the principle caught on this, but this resulted on the bullies targeting those who were the tattletales. And thus, the cycle kept going.

Seeing all this made me afraid. It made me insecure. I would often say things on my mind, but when pointing out what I felt was right, I would get scared. Even when around my own friends. Because a lot of people just go along with what was happening, I felt that I should as well. Like it was the only right way or you would be on your own with nobody supporting you except yourself.

Who can ever decide what is right or wrong when there is no one to pick up their decision?

It got to the point where I couldn't even tell my problems to my family. They tried asking me what was going on when I had a bad day, but I made a fake smile and reassured them that there was nothing to worry about.

I felt caged.

The worse was when a boy sent me a note in my locker. I thought it would be just a cheesy love letter, but it was more of a promotion.

WANT TO JOIN THE BLACK BLADES? MEET US AT THE GARBAGE ALLEY AT 12:30 TODAY.

I never heard of the Black Blades before, but I thought they sound like a cool rock band. I found them at lunchtime at the alley where the garbage bins were. The group consisted of three boys and two girls.

"Ah!" said Caleb, the leader. "If it isn't Miss Lavender Tomboy herself! What brings you here, Melody?"

I chuckled, shrugging. "I was just in the neighborhood when I found a nice promotion to this area. So…what is this about?"

"We're a gang of vigilantes. We came up with this gang 2 years ago. Ask yourself this question; are you a nasty d*ck who ended up on the wrong side of the road or are you an innocent person who got f**ked over by someone else?!"

I flinched a little at the enthusiastic tone he had.

"Well luckily for you," said Felix. "Thanks to our ninja-like skills, you can come along and be a part of this team. We go over and steal those who wronged you in the first place. Take what is ours."

The moment I heard that, I realized something was off about this.

"T-Take what is ours?" I said.

"You see," said Mia. "We take revenge on those who wronged us in the past. Who pushed us like pieces of trash. We make sure that they are the ones who are trash in the end by taking their most precious items and screwing over whatever plans they have."

"But eh…isn't that…wrong?" I said.

The five teenagers laughed, shaking their head. I felt ashamed for what I said, nearly backing away.

"Don't go yet!" said Asher, grabbing my arm. "If you think this is wrong, then do you think not doing real justice on the damned is not wrong? Don't you want to prove to those bullies and riches that they are lower than everyone? They won't stop until we show them what they deserve."

I was hesitant. "I…I don't know."

"We'll pay you…" said Gina seductively.

"Pay me what?"

"Money…"

I bit my lip. I wasn't all for robbing someone, especially if it was on a mean guy. I thought of calling the principle about this, so that he could take care of the situation. But…if I would, they would just laugh at me more. And then, the spite would probably continue at school. I wasn't sure if being kind was enough for everyone. I felt as if the Black Blades were right.

I made my decision. "I'll…try it out for this week at least."

"Done!" said Caleb, shaking my hand. "You are now an official member of the Black Blades. We will call you 'Raspberry' and your identity will be kept in secret with all of us no matter what!"

I faked a smile. "Great! So…when is the next mission and what am I supposed to do?"

"Well, our next mission is tomorrow night at midnight. I'll tell you the rest of the information soon."

"Wait, midnight? Why so late, Caleb?"

"The night sky hides our shadows. Our parents won't know that we will be out."

"Oh, so you're saying that everyone doesn't have security cameras?" I muttered.

"Speak for yourself, Melody. You'll be surprised of what we can do. And the reason of what you need to do is exactly why we need you. You're a strong person and you can perhaps hone your abilities for this. Even hairstyling can be useful!"

"I don't see how just using scissors would work."

And so, within a few days, I found myself wearing a black outfit with a black mask to cover my mouth and a black cap to hide my hair. For the next few days, we were running through dark alleys, breaking through doors and windows, and taking away valuable items from people. Most of our targets were students at school who wronged us…um…I mean 'them'.

I was surprised of how we were flawless in our robberies. We didn't make too much noise when invading someone's house. Nobody woke up and found us stealing their personal belongings. I guessed that was why the Black Blades were so successful with robbing people.

The whole time, I was addressed as 'Raspberry'. For the others, Caleb was 'Chief', Asher was 'Knight', Mia was 'Cactus' and Gina was 'Canary'. It was still a wonder why nobody at school suspected us because we always managed to escape before the police arrived. I used my skills in the test and I became more good in self-defence, fighting, stealth and acrobatics.

I was still worried about what I was doing was right and if I was going to get caught. I thought of telling the Black Blades to stop, but I was afraid that they would laugh at me again. Sure their ideas might be right in 'justice', but it wasn't right in terms of morality, respect and regulating tempers. Every time I saw a student complaining or crying to their friends about their stolen items, I would immediately feel bad for them, knowing that I partook in helping the Black Blades steal those things from others.

I thought of trying to tell anyone – ANYONE about this. My parents, the police or the principle. But whenever I gained the courage to, I fell short. I was still afraid if that meant getting myself in trouble. Would the Black Blades see me as a pushover? Would everyone think what I did was stupid? Would I be laughed at?

For 3 weeks, I was stuck in a meaningless and endless way of life. Until, one day changed the whole world for me.

During the day, we were looking out who was next on the list. Who we get to pick on next. And the selected person threw me off guard.

"What in lava blazes?!" I said in disbelief as we walked across the pavement. "Bob? But…Bob didn't do anything wrong!"

"Well, that's the point," snorted Caleb, disgust spitting from his tongue. "He's so rich, he's so innocent and so confident. He always has everything while people like us have nothing!"

"Yeah," agreed Mia. "That's why we need to show this snob that he needs to experience how it feels like to hurt for ONCE. And we know the perfect place to damage him."

They suddenly stopped and faced a large shop. It turned out to be a toy shop made for all children at all ages. It was so colorful, bright and cool inside there. At that point, I realized that this is Bob's parents' shop. Their products.

And we were going to invade it.

"Wait," I said. "Are we ACTUALLY going to take down that shop?"

"Don't be a pussycat," said Caleb. "We are still going to steal everything in there…along with trashing the place. We're RUINING a shop."

I sighed. "Wait. Can we just…eh…think about it?"

Caleb glared at me. "Think about it?"

"What?!" I quickly said. "No, no, no. Sounds like a great idea at all!"

All five teenagers stared at me with narrowed eyes. At the moment, I lost the ability to stand up for myself.

"If you're too chicken to take on this one," sneered Gina. "Then be our guess and get out."

"Hold up, Gina," said Caleb. He patted his hand onto my shoulder. "I feel bad for you, but your ideas…aren't reasonable. Our reasons are more reasonable. I think it's because you're focusing too much on being nice to the 'nice' ones, you never actually think of doing real justice on them. I thought you had fun."

I bit my lip. "Well…I did have fun and I improved myself in sneaking around. Could have said the same when we see our targets crying about it."

"Well, you will be satisfied when Bob realizes that he can't have everything. I don't know where you come from, but…you need to think like us from now on. Clear?"

He patted me on the forehead like I was a child.

I resisted the urge to growl. "Crystal…"

"Good then," said Caleb, smiling. "Let's meet up at midnight. Me and Gina will arrive here at early so that we can shut down their security system and take down the night guards."

With that, the group dispersed. It was only me by the shop.

I sighed as I leaned against the wall. I didn't want to do this. Bob didn't deserve to be hurt like this. It wasn't really right to hurt an innocent person. Caleb might have said that he should get through some, but that wasn't right. It wasn't right to inflict pain on others just because you felt like so.

I looked back through the window to see Bob dragging what appeared to be his older sister to the corner of the room. For some reason, I could hear everything they said.

"This here," said Bob, pointing to a large metal door. "Is where the magic happens."

The sister scoffed. "What about it?"

"What about it? This is where we keep our most prized products of the shop."

He pulled down a huge lever on the wall and the door opened up to reveal a set of the most beautiful toys I ever saw. They were all in gold and white colors. Their shine was so bright that it nearly blind me like a shiny new car. There were even money coins all around! It was incredible.

"This is where we keep our prizes," explained Bob. "You know how we like to award our customers. This is a special treat for them if they connect the dots and earn a ticket to grab one of those. It's my idea of using this special vault and our parents like it!"

His sister just scoffed. "You want me to be impressed by another one of your dorky, nerdy inventions when you already explained every plan of yours to me?"

Bob was silent. "Well…this one came true!"

"If you want to impress me, then stop being a total embarrassment. Be more mature. Stop acting so polite all the time, you little s**t."

The smile on Bob's face faded away. He looked down, appearing disappointed.

"Y-Yes, sis," he said quietly.

"Don't you dare 'sis' me."

With that, the sister walked away.

I was shocked.

To think that Bob was always enjoying himself with school, friends and his luxury. Here, I just saw a new side from him.

"He's so rich, he's so innocent and so confident. He always have everything while people like us have nothing!"

The only thing Bob didn't have was his approval and affection of his older sister. That made me feel sorry for him. He wasn't…what we thought. I was thinking of telling the Black Blades this, but they would just ignore me. They wouldn't believe me and if they did, then they would want to make Bob worse.

Bob sighed and gazed at the window. When he saw me, he immediately made a fake smile and waved back.

I waved back weakly.

When I came back home, I was already in a complete mess. I kept punishing myself for feeling sorry for Bob because the Black Blades wouldn't approve me for pointing it out. It dragged on as I did my homework, took a shower and ate dinner.

Even my parents caught a sniff of it.

"Melody," said Dad. "Are you alright?"

"I'm fine," I grumbled.

"Oh sweetie," said Mum. "Lighten up a little. We're here and we're safe. We even bought your favourite food from your favourite restaurant. What's stopping you from enjoying it?"

"Look," I said, shaking my head. "I'm just having a bad day! OK? It's just…really pressuring with…school."

Dad raised an eyebrow. "OK…why's that? What's pressuring you?"

Honestly, I didn't even know the truth myself. "That's what I'm trying to figure out. It's like…I don't have a say while everyone just go with the flow."

Mum just smiled and patted my on the shoulder. "Look, dear. You can't always keep things to yourself. If you feel as if something is wrong, then don't be afraid to speak up."

I looked down. "I wouldn't be afraid if everyone would disagree with me."

Elena's POV, ?

At first, I wanted to go home, but because I didn't have a curfew, then I could just go wherever I want to be until dark. Besides, I was curious of what Sonia exactly do after school. Either she went home or probably do those weird rituals the girls rumored.

However, it didn't appear to be the case. We went to the further side of town and arrived at one of those abandoned warehouses. It was made from grey metal with black stains and the door was locked with a huge lock.

"Do you own this building?" I asked.

Sonia shrugged. "Nobody wants to use it, so I swiped it first. Say that it's my personal art studio."

When she opened the door, I was amazed by what I saw.

It was a hallway with all the walls, ceilings and even the floor covered in graffiti. There didn't appear to be a clear spot, not a single area of grey concrete.

I could see many cartoon-like people in wacky poses and crazy colors.

Different environment ranging from the land and sea in vibrant and wool-like colors of green, blue and brown.

Pictures of political and individual concerns that were filled with every emotion possible.

Art pieces that were actually the opposite of how they were set out.

Looking at all of this, I saw beauty. True art. A true life. It was like a safe haven, a shelter for me to hide under the rain. There was a rainbow here; a true rainbow where all the colors could fly free in the air. It was like entering the heart of a better world compared to the world I lived in. This felt…splendid.

Every art piece picked up every culture and background I know. Something I had been interested in the world before. The young me would be bouncing off the walls. The me at the moment was lost for words at this spectacular showcase.

I brushed my hand against the wall, feeling the paint. To my surprise, it felt smooth. Like cream or soap.

"How do you think?" asked Sonia.

"I…" I stuttered. "I…I like it…it's so…wholesome."

Sonia smiled. "Glad you like it. You're the first student to ever see this."

"Have you shown this to anyone before?"

"I'd revealed it to a few art professionals and celebrities, but we kept it secret because I want to reveal it to the school during graduation year."

We walked along the hallway as I marveled the several artworks beyond the building. I saw neon lights, country roads, golden rooms, tropical paradises. It was a buffet of expressions with all the pieces combined as one. So many different things that made me want to know them more.

We stopped at two empty hallways. Free for any more art works in the future. I was a little confused to why we were at this empty space…until Sonia dropped down a bag of painting equipment.

"Here," she said. "Use them."

I gave her a look.

"I said 'use them'. Do what you want with this wall."

"Wait," I said. "You…want me to paint?"

"It doesn't matter how good or bad you are in creating. I'm not going to judge. All I need to see if you want to express yourself in the best way."

I was confused. "In the best way…"

"If this is our world, if you can use your voice, your hands, what would you display in here? If it's just me and you?"

I was silent for a while. And then it hit me. Stress was getting to me and it turned into fear. Even if it was just with another person. She was asking me to paint what I want. How I was feeling. What I want the world to be. My own opinions and beliefs. Even though I was reluctant, I had to remind myself that this was Sonia's place and she wouldn't reveal it until at least two years later. I gritted my teeth and picked up the equipment.

"You don't tell this to anyone, got it?" I said firmly.

Sonia smirked. "Sure then. Just when have you started to give a damn about what others think?"

I sighed as I turned to the wall and began painting. There were several spray cans, brushes and buckets of paint. I took the ones that were easy to carry. Since I wasn't a professional artist, I first drew a few lines around on the wall. I then decided to add some details to them by spraying them silver.

Before I knew it, I started to make them more emphasized and powerful than it looked. I thought back to when I was given a lot of looks for how I acted. The way how I brushed others off. The way where I didn't even look like I cared at all. The stares, the glares, the whispers.

Something burn inside my chest as I picked up a bucket of red paint and threw it upwards. Red paint covered the wall like blood being poured out of a dead body. My vision turned red and my blood started to boil. I never felt this type of rage before, but I decided to vent it out for this once.

I nearly kicked the wall down, but I quickly stopped myself and instead just banged one of the paintbrushes onto the wall. Splashes of dark colors painted all over the picture.

Something triggered inside me. Being here where I was free to do whatever I want reminded me of how much I closed. My interest in getting to know other countries and other people. My joy and warmth in finding something new and testing out what I am comfortable with. The feeling of not needing to cover up my hobbies. The feeling of…being with my family.

This hit me back home.

I bit my lip, feeling lost for a moment. I remembered back to my father. The lullaby he sang to me. The warm arms that wrapped around my chest. The privilege of crying into his chest. That moment I couldn't move on from.

Just the thought of…never seeing him again.

Abandoning the angry colors, I picked up grey, blue and black colors, starting to complete the messy picture. I decided to paint gentler and let the brush rub against the wall smoothly than before. The melancholy I felt as I travelled the paintbrush to boundaries I never thought reach in mind. Slowly like a napkin being stained by coffee, the dull colors slowly spread through nearly the whole wall.

Looking at it, it reminded me of how miserable my life had turned out to be. Ever since my father passed away. The times I told myself that I was a burden to everyone. The nightmares I had to face at school. The feeling of wanting to wander out of this world for once. Locked up in a place that I don't belong.

Finally, after 45 minutes, I finished my art work.

It was a drawing of a man in a hoodie. It got to me that the colors splashed on him say a lot to me.

The red splashes on his arms and torso were flaming, nearly burning the painting in rage. Some of them represent scars; the scars that I held onto for a long time. Those scars that would be there forever.

The dull and greyish colors nearly looked like water stains from the rain that poured down on this man. So much trauma he had to endure and the troubles that made him never the same again.

The face was the most striking out of this man. It was all in black with no facial expressions. No mouth, no nose, no eyes. Nothing. Just a blank face covered in shadows. But the direction of the face was looking down at the floor.

Sonia observed it for a while, her eyes softening. She kept glancing at me and the hooded man in front of me.

I stayed quiet for a while, leaning against the wall. I didn't care if paint was on my hair.

"So…do you feel alright now?" asked Sonia.

It was at that moment I felt lighter. "Somewhat…I…I don't know. Most of the time, I felt reclusive and gloomy…"

"Well, you're not now, aren't you?"

I looked at Sonia. "This…this doesn't make sense. What do you want me to exactly do here?"

"I just want to make things alright for you."

I shook my head. "How many times now? I told you that everything isn't alright."

"But are you feeling like your whole world is going to crumble already?"

I stopped myself. During that time, when I was painting, I was so engrossed that by the end, the bottled emotions disappeared suddenly. I didn't think that much about my own problems or even continued to complain about them.

"…I feel…relieved," I said.

Sonia smiled. "You are so used to thinking that things are bad that you didn't see how good they are."

I frowned. "Well…I would be more than happy to paint around here…if we met when we were in kindergarten."

Sonia snorted a little. "And how would your life be like that?"

I sighed a little. "Look. There is a reason why I don't…explain things that I am going through. There are…things I wish would go away. But…nothing changed so far and I'm stuck like this. I don't know what to do."

Sonia stared at me for a long time. It felt like she was staring right into my soul.

"I-I stopped being interested in…everything," I confessed. "Because our school didn't give me a break, I felt as if…I should just try to blend in. Just…stop wandering around like the girl I used to be. There would be a lot of people who would keep asking where I am from when I don't have anything to ask them."

"What's stopping you from wandering around?" said Sonia. "There is nothing wrong with wandering around if it makes you feel happy and safe. You think that this world is bad when you can still do the things you enjoy?"

Yep. She was staring right into my soul. At first, I wasn't sure if I should open myself to her. I didn't want to make the same mistakes like the last few times. What if things didn't go out well? There was a lot I had to face, but she might not agree with me. But…she was a mysterious girl and know a LOT of things.

I thought back to when I was working with her. While I didn't acknowledge it, I noticed that she had been calm most of the time. I feared that she would keep pressuring me to keep up or just force me to do all the work myself. However, unlike the rest of the students, she…was patient. She split the questions up for both of us. She told me that she could handle the parts I have difficulty with.

For the first time, she was probably the first student of my high school I ever felt comfortable around with. She didn't dare to bite. She didn't insult me. She was mostly level-headed. She…was nearly the closest thing to as a friend.

Even though I have doubts, I really needed to let this off my chest for this once. I made my mind. I couldn't just keep it buried for too long.

"I trust you," I said.

Sonia stared at me with those unreadable eyes. "Go on."

Augustina's POV

I hummed to myself as I walked into the main information room. We got everything ready and in plan. All I need to do was to stall the 'security guard' watching over the entrance and let the girls take down the security system. Fortunately, after what I learnt from my play years ago, I was ready to pretend.

I pressed the bell on the table, alerting the guard's attention.

He looked up with glossy white eyes. Dang, he was indeed brainwashed. I wouldn't freak out, but it was kind of creepy seeing him like this. Being mindless and loyal to Vanny, but he retained some of his human personalities.

"May I help you?" he said.

I smiled, putting on a fake Chinese accent. "Why yes, yes. You can. I'm a little lost here."

"Who are you?"

"My name is…'Pepeye Marzu.' I came here for my university school here. I come from China."

"Really?" said Elena's voice through my earpiece. "Pee-pee?"

I could hear Melody snickering on the other end.

"Oh," said the guard, relaxing a little. "So you're one of the exchange students. You smell…nice."

"Yep," I said with a smile. "I have blossom flower…perfumy!"

"OK. Where do you need to go to?"

"I'm just a little lost here. I went out to explore and now I'm here. Is it alright if you can guide me through this building…warehouse…thing?"

The guard raised an eyebrow. "I'm sorry. No authorized people allowed past this entrance."

"Then at least show me around here at this fancy section!"

The guard cleared his throat, pulling his tie. "OK then…"

I observed the whole room, seeing a camera pointing at me. The red light was on, blinking. That meant I had Vanny's attention already. Hopefully, she didn't recognize me because I had to wear a LOT to cover my skin. At least the light wasn't so bright on my face. My focus was on the bench with a few monitors showing the camera feed. I decided to make sure they didn't know I was looking at them by going up to one of the vase.

"Wow!" I said, placing a hand on the vase. "So pretty! So rich! So purple!"

"Yes, yes," said the guard impatiently. "This is just an old vase we bought a long time ago. I think I should show you something more co-!"

With a push, the vase broke in half in front of my feet.

CRASH!

The guard yelled as he watched the pieces scatter across the floor, an impact from falling from a high place. I was glad there weren't any contents in them or else I might give myself away. Even though it was 3 seconds late, I screamed as well.

"If we had time before," grumbled Elena. "Then we could have rehearse the whole thing."

"Just shut up and continue," said Melody. "Are you ready?"

"I got pass security. Now time to do something illegal."

I smiled to myself while the guard was frantically trying to pick up the broken pieces. I heard him wince a little, nearly cutting himself. He gave up, kicking the pile to the side.

"Geez!" he said. "You need to stop moving around like that!"

"Gomen'nasai," I said.

('Gomen'nasai' means 'sorry' in Japanese)

The guard grumbled something under his breath as he walked around, shaking his head.

"So what is this place supposed to be?" I asked dumbly.

"…just a warehouse making robots," said the guard. "It's not nothing so much. Fake robots. Fake robots with weird, childish shells all over them. I don't know why they are made like that, but the boss wants them that way."

"What is the boss making at the miment?"

"Eh…I think she is housekeeping four robots in a room. I don't know."

That must be where Vanny was keeping them. I took a glance at the monitors again to see a flash of white and green passing by. That came from Level…8 and Room 5. That must be where she was keeping them. Despite the great camera security system, not so much great cyber security system. We got full access to the system and if they had their own batteries, then we could search for the Glamrock Quartet. They would be there. I know so.

"Oh!" I giggled. "I have a surprise I was meant to bring over here!"

"What surprise?" asked the guard.

POW!

Suddenly, all the lights snapped out and the monitors went black. All the power cut off and so did the cameras. Well…at least we could use some drones to search around the place. The guard started to panic again, shouting about the sudden power outage. I didn't.

Because that was what we planned to do.

"What the hell is going on here?!" screamed the guard. "I thought that there aren't any terrorist attacks going on in this town!"

I chuckled. "Clam down, silly bum. There is no…tearrists attack. It's just…shutting this place down."

I lowered my glasses a little. "Let's get it on."

He gave me a look. "Get what on?"

There was a loud shatter from above and glass sprayed all over on my feet. I didn't flinch because I knew who it was. Melody jumped from the cracked ceiling and aimed her water balloon crossbow at the guard's head.

"Get on this," she said.

She clicked the trigger.

The lavender balloon was the first to shoot out.

It crashed into the guard's head, exploding. The water sprayed everywhere, all over his eyes. I quickly caught him before he dropped to the ground.

"And yet, I thought it's the GIRL the man has to catch," said Elena sarcastically.

"Do you think he would come to his senses now?" I said. "Vanny did a lot to him I think."

Melody hummed as she opened the eyelids of the unconscious guard. Confirming my suspicion, his eyes were slowly turning back to a healthy shade of brown.

"Seems about right," said Melody. "Since she used technology to mind control for him, water is the best way to crash the circuit."

"Alright," said Elena. "I managed to cut the electricity power to the warehouse. However, that means all the cameras are off since they are plugged in, so we have to use the footage I managed to download to find the Glamrocks. And also, be careful because there are some certain robots or machinery that run on their own batteries."

"Then we are good to go," I said. "Meet us there, Elena."

"Roger that." [1]

Gently, I placed the guard on the floor. Hopefully when he woke up, we would be already out and the animatronics were dealt with. With no one watching us, we made our way through the entrance and walked through the hallways. I quickly took off the coat and the hat. It was very hot wearing all of this, so I was glad that I got rid of it already. We didn't need the disguise anymore.

The lights above us flickered, so that meant this place had a backup power source. But it wouldn't be effective since all the cameras were done. Vanny wouldn't know where we were at the moment.

There were sets of heavy footsteps and metal clicking in the distance.

"Here's the crossbow," said Melody, throwing it into my hands. "You got the ammo?"

I nodded as I opened my jacket. "Yep. Still have those water balloons. Surprised they haven't popped yet."

"Well, Freddy Fazbear's Mega Pizza Plex has these kind of materials to keep on rolling."

As we walked through the hallway, I took a look at our surroundings. It was a little dark and the flickering lights weren't helping that much. It was quite really narrow with doors leading to small rooms. Almost everything was filled with shelves that had animatronic heads or parts sitting on them. It was like a robot factory.

As we went around the corner, we saw two animatronics looking around in confusion. The lights stopped flickering and they saw us. They looked like recolors of the Toy Animatronics.

"Hi, boys!" I said with a grin.

Pressing the trigger, a balloon shot out of the crossbow. It immediately shot the first animatronic in the head, blue paint spilling all over. It let out a silly yelp as it fell backwards. Because of the liquid, it immediately spazzed out, electricity sparkling through its body. When it hit the floor, it never moved again.

The second animatronic let out a screech as it lunged at us. We quickly dodged and Melody finished it with a roundhouse kick. When the animatronic turned its head, it was when her foot kicked it. It LITERALLY blew it off, revealing the now-bent and malfunctioning endoskeleton head. Just like that, it slumped to the ground.

"That was too easy," said Melody as she adjusted her jacket.

"This ain't over," I said. "The animatronics are still tough."

True to my word, three animatronics came out from one room. I was surprised that they were Toy Animatronics as well. They were made from plastic, round rosy cheeks and doll-like faces. Immediately, they let out screams as they charged towards us.

One charged towards me and swung his fist. I quickly ducked and kicked him in the groin. While they didn't function like real-life humans, it still distracted him, focusing on the infliction. I then wrapped my hands around his neck and spun him around, slamming him into the wall.

With that, I quickly held my crossbow and fired another balloon bomb. It exploded onto his chest, blowing off the torso plates. I proceeded to stomp onto the endoskeleton before jumping up and stomping onto the head, crushing it. It immediately powered down, laying limp.

Meanwhile, Melody quickly grabbed both incoming fists of a female animatronic. She growled before throwing the animatronic up into the ceiling. With the third animatronic about to tackle her down, Melody spun around, managed to grab the falling female animatronic and threw her at the charging animatronic.

Both collided with each other and crashed onto the floor, some of their pieces flying around. Melody quickly stomped on them, flattening their shells and endoskeleton. But that wasn't enough. I quickly did a handspring and kicked the two heads downwards.

BANG!

As soon as I hit hard, the head rattled with electricity and metal bolts spat out through the mouth and eyeholes.

"Do you think there might be bodies inside them?" I asked in concern. "I mean, I can't take it back, but…"

"We can't sense any souls in them," said Melody, shrugging. "It's just robots."

As we continued through the hallways, more animatronics appeared. Most of them resembled the Toy Animatronics, but some of them looked like Glamrock Animatronics. Some of them were recolors or new designs. I guessed that they weren't chosen to be in the pizza plex. All of them just came out of their rooms to see what the fuss was. Once they saw us, they went into action.

Well, those who had more studier and stronger bodies. Some of them appeared a little afraid to fight. At least we didn't need so much to take care of.

One animatronic ran forwards, holding a guitar over its head. I quickly kicked it in the chest and fired my crossbow. The balloon bomb exploded onto its face. This gave Melody time to grab its arm and swung it at two incoming animatronics. With them out of the way, we continued to march forwards.

One animatronic came roaring, running as fast as a tiger. I huffed as I lifted my crossbow and fired another balloon bomb.

The animatronic was so light that when it hit her in the chest, she was knocked off her feet and her body did a spin in the air. As soon as she landed, we casually jumped over her as the fresh blow of paint distracted her.

"Time to bring the party to this place," I said as I loaded the crossbow with a different type of balloon bomb.

Making sure that my aim was at one of the incoming animatronics and my feet were separated in the right positions, I blasted the balloon. As soon as it hit the animatronic in the head, the balloon exploded and blue smoke exploded everywhere. While slightly blinded, the animatronic shook its head and ran forwards. However, Melody quickly slid across the floor and kicked into its heel.

The animatronic flew around and crashed onto the floor. I quickly kicked it in the head to distract him for long for us to walk through safely.

We walked through the smoke, giving us the advantage to hide from the animatronics. They looked around frantically to find their prey. Some of them began sniffing, but the smoke's raspberry smell was really overpowering.

I dropped to floor on one knee and aimed at one of the animatronic's leg. Another balloon shot out and actually snapped the leg in half. The animatronic screamed in pain as it collapsed in the explosion of silver glitter. It tried to get up by crawling, but I quickly kicked it in the head.

Melody punched another animatronic, but it ducked her attack. She continued this until the animatronic spun around, its tail slapping into Melody. She yelped in pain, but she quickly turned around and swung her arm. Her elbow hit into the animatronic's jaw, nearly breaking it. She then kicked into its chest and used her foot to push through it further when it fell onto the ground. It was enough to break through the shell and crushed the chest.

However, because she wasn't focusing on her surroundings, an animatronic behind her grabbed her. She let out a scream and I quickly turned my attention to her.

"Duck!" I yelled.

She lowered her head and I shot another balloon bomb into the animatronic's head. The explosion of pink paint splattered everywhere, leading the animatronic to screech and stumble backwards. This gave Melody enough time to break out of its grip. I did the finishing move by swinging the crossbow and hitting the animatronic in the head, knocking it out.

"Thanks, Augustina!" chirped Melody.

"You got a bit of paint on your hair," I said.

She touched the pink splatters that were all over her ponytail. "Eh. I can live with it. It might look nice on me."

I quickly ducked when an animatronic flying towards me. It was a chicken and it let out the most horrifying screech in the world. It could break a glass than a rooster. While that scared me, I was able to get out of its way and then I aimed my crossbow backward. Without even looking, I fired it, there was a loud explosion of paint and a weird garbling noise from the animatronic as it fell apart.

"Whoa!" said Melody, quickly punching an animatronic out of the way. "I'm happy that you're picking up the fighting skills me and Elena taught you."

I laughed. "Are you kidding? This just helps me to be a black belt! You just gave me the final steps of becoming a master."

As I said that, I fired another balloon bomb at an animatronic, popping its head from a room. When it hit, its head blew up and its endoskeleton head fell apart as pink smoke flew around.

"That reminds me," said Melody as we walked around the corner. "Shouldn't Elena be here by now?"

Out of the blue, an animatronic quickly pushed me over. I screamed when I hit the floor, but I screamed louder when I saw him grabbing Melody, trying to pull her away. She kept cursing and took out a small baton, whipping it on its thigh.

"LET! GO! OFF! ME!" she shouted. "CRAP! CRAP!"

The animatronic cackled as it pulled her towards a room. I was about to get up and fire another balloon bomb…when we heard loud beeping.

And you wouldn't expect to see THIS going through the long side window.

CRASH!

A white van burst through the window and slammed into the animatronic. There was a sickening crunch as it pressed against the wall and actually exploded into metal pieces and sparks. The front bumper of the van was also busted, but it didn't damage the rest of the van. Luckily, Melody wasn't squeezed by the crash and actually went free, falling face-first.

"Melody!" I said, helping her up. "Are you OK?"

She groaned, holding onto her forehead. "Wow…that was sick."

The van door opened to reveal a gritty Elena.

"What?" she said. "This is the only parking spot I can find."

I chuckled a little, trying to follow along her sarcasm. "Well…you came to the right one."

She placed on her wearable grapple gun on her right arm and pulled out a box of small cans. She took a handful and strapped them to her belt.

"Are those glitter bombs going to work?" she said. "Glitter ain't going to work against THEM."

We looked behind to see more animatronics coming around the corner.

"May I try one please?" I said.

Elena casually tossed me one. I placed it in my crossbow and fired. It shot through the hallway and the second it hit one of the animatronics in the head…

KABOOM!

We had to cover our ears due to how loud the explosion was. There was smoke and fire blowing everywhere…and blue and pink glitter flying in all directions. Some of them caught on fire. The animatronics were thrown back, either blown up by the explosion or ragdolling away. The impact also caused damage to the hallways as a few ceiling tiles were coming off.

I turned back to Elena, enthused. "I LIKE this thing!"

Elena blinked. "Now that is just a kids show turned into a mess-up wild party."

"Let's go already. There is only one elevator here and it is still working. That's your only way to get to Vanny!"

"Then it has to be around that corner," said Melody. "But they must be guarding it."

The three of us walked through the hallway. Despite the bomb's explosion, there were still more animatronics coming around the corner and out from their rooms. The first row roared and ran forwards.

Snarling, Elena raised her right arm and aimed at a nearby black, metal shelf. She shot and a large wire with a grapple hook wrapped around the shelf. With a loud shout, she threw the shelf down onto the first few animatronics. It was enough to damage them and trap them for a while. There were loud shatters as bolts fell everywhere and animal heads bounced around.

Walking over the crumpled animatronics, I uploaded another balloon bomb and shot the next round of animatronics. Reddish pink smoke exploded everywhere as we quickly shoved them aside.

Unfortunately, the smoke gave the other animatronics an advantage to catch us.

A large, bulky hand covered my mouth. My mind went into flight mode as I kicked my legs around, trying to break free. As I was dragged away, Elena quickly charged forwards and kicked the animatronic in the head. She then broke me free from its grip and began punching the animatronic in the chest. Once it focused on the pain, Elena jumped – raising her fists together – and slammed them onto the head.

The animatronic collapsed onto the ground with a flattened head. It tried to get up, but since she damaged it, it wasn't able to balance properly.

"I think you shouldn't waste too many bullets," said Elena. "Too many furry asses trying to catch us."

"Watch your language," I said.

When the smoke cleared, we saw three animatronics marching towards us. I held my crossbow, getting ready to fight. Alas, we weren't prepared for this.

GUN BARRELS popped out of their mouths, hands and heads…before they blew bullets out.

We would have been shot if it wasn't for Melody who quickly pulled us behind the corner. I watched in shock as the bullets kept firing into the wall, blocking our way through. The mixture of the gunshots and the wrath-fueled screech rang in my ears.

"They are using guns now!" said Elena.

"They are using guns now?!" I shouted.

Melody was resigned. "They are using guns now."

"How are we going to get pass them?!" I said. "We don't know how much more of them and exiting the building is just a suicide run!"

Elena sighed, adjusting her jacket. "OK then. Cover for me!"

"What?!" I said.

"Just wait until they stop to refill!" said Melody.

A few seconds later, the bullets stopped firing. We could hear the animatronics grunting in annoyance as they started to refill, clicking through their machineries. Elena huffed as she ran around the corner before sliding across the hallway, leaning back. Using the extra speed, her body glowed ice blue with blue streaks flying behind her. By the time they noticed, she already went through the gap between the legs.

Flipping upwards, she slammed her fist into one of the animatronic's head, striking it out. Another animatronic noticed this – with its weapon refilled – and pointed its gun at her. Elena – already tapped into her powers – was too fast as she quickly ripped the gun off as soon as the bullet was shot into the ceiling.

The third animatronic took fire, but Elena used the second animatronic as a body shield. In one bullet in the head, that animatronic lost its head. She jumped towards the wall, bounced off it using her feet and kicked the third animatronic in the head.

However, the three animatronics weren't out yet. Since she only hit them in the heads, they slowly got up, raising their guns at us. Me and Melody were already coming behind Elena, watching just in case anything went wrong. They fired, but the three of us quickly dodged.

Melody was able to get close. She snapped her fingers…and that very lavender lightning bolt sparked from her fingertips and onto the animatronics.

FWOOSH!

It spread like wildfire as the animatronics IMMEDIATELY went on fire. When the lightning bolt hit them, the lavender fire spread all over their body. They stopped trying to kill us and instead tried to put the fire out. We watched as they spun around, screeching in agony. They were still firing their guns, so we had to get out of the way. Finally, they stopped and collapsed onto the floor, their bodies burning.

"OK…" said Melody, a drop of sweat rolling down the side of her head. "Maybe this is a little too much for my liking."

"It's just robots," reassured Elena. "Remember that they would need to go in the end. We don't keep these powers."

"Uh…guys?" I said. "We still have those things to deal with."

The two turned around…to find a large army of…Balloon Boys staring at us. They looked…pretty cute. Yet, they resembled ventriloquist dolls and nearly like young boys with huge, enormous eyes that would never blink. And oh, some of their teeth slowly turned into fangs.

"Oh man," said Elena despondent.

Despite shivering a little, I smirked. "Hmph. BB Boys."

Within seconds, we began to fight off the first wave. Those small animatronics kept running towards us. Laughing maniacally or snapping their jaws to reveal their terrible teeth. However, keeping our distance away from them, we didn't back down and attack them back.

I had my crossbow with me, so I shot every balloon bomb I had in my pockets. A blow of glitter, smoke or paint on them and they went flying away. Problem was that I wasn't sure if I could reload my crossbow quickly as there were more coming too close to me. Besides, I was slowly running out of ammo.

Melody was using a mix of hand or foot combat. Most of the time, she quickly snatched some nearby animatronics and threw them back at the incoming animatronics. Whenever her hands were full, she quickly kicked them away. It was as if she was playing bowling ball and soccer at the same time. Like she was defending her own goalpost.

While she had her bombs, Elena used hand-to-hand combat. Using her dance skills, she was able to kick the animatronics away. Most of her fighting skills were similar to Melody, but she seemed to be enjoying herself with the action. She was like a dance battler.

The cackles of the wicked children and the clatters of metal endoskeletons breaking into pieces echoed through the hallways. The smell of oil was rather overwhelming. I noticed how many of those Balloon Boys were coming. Another that tripled the number replaced one row. They kept appearing from the doors and vents!

Once we got rid of the first wave, I quickly used my telekinesis to push the animatronics aside. We ran through the clear path, trying to shield ourselves from the Balloon Boys that would dare to jump onto us. We punched, kicked and threw them away, trying to concentrate on making it to the other side.

By the time we got to the other side of the Balloon Boys, I turned my powers off and we broke into a run. The Balloon Boys cackled as they chased after us. The hallway changed to a bridge over a tall and deep room. Below us, we could see what must be an animatronic-making factory room. Metal claws and dispensers created metal endoskeletons and colorless plastic shells. Several animatronic suits lied on the floor, like the aftermath of a massacre.

I noticed one animatronic suit…with a blood pool forming around it. I gulped as a dreadful feeling shook me. That just proved how Vanny managed to make this building hers without a legal license. How many lives did she want to kill?!

At the end of the bridge, it led to a balcony and an elevator. The only elevator in this building. We stopped there and I started pressing the panel buttons. Unexpectedly, it was taking a long time for the elevator to reach our level.

"Augustina…" said Melody. "Hurry up please."

"Don't you know how fast I am going?!" I shouted, persistently pressing the button.

I looked behind to see the Balloon Boys over the bridge. It was like a pack of children on a sugar high, trying to eat US. They were going so fast that they would have catch up to us any minute.

Elena growled again and quickly dropped to the floor. She picked one of the bombs from her belt and threw it.

KABOOM!

It was effective. The explosion not only threw the Balloon Boys back, but also broke the bridge. And because most of it was made from glass, it shattered into a million pieces. I couldn't help but whoop in joy as I watched the fiendish animatronics were sent falling down. The remaining Balloon Boys from the other hanging part of the bridge were screaming in fury, snapping their teeth.

The elevator doors finally opened.

I looked back to see some of them were trying to jump over the bridge. Most of them fail, but a portion of them grabbed onto the other end. Melody quickly kicked them away before heading inside the elevator.

"Go! Go! Go!" I said as me and Elena got in.

At least three Balloon Boys already got to the other side. I hastily pressed the button and the elevator doors went shut. One of their faces opened their jaws and let out a bloodcurdling screech before it was blocked away. [1s]

The elevator slowly lowered itself at a slow pace.

I nearly dropped to my knees, panting.

"Phew!" I said. "Thought that we would be toast."

Melody wiped the sweat off her forehead. "Elena, your braids are messy."

"What?" said Elena, touching her hair. "Oh c'mon. Can you please fix my hair, Melody?"

A gentle song played along as we waited to arrive at the bottom level of the facility.

"Ah geez…" I said, looking at my crossbow. "I only have one more balloon bomb left."

"It's OK," said Elena. "We are at the end point soon. We don't need to take out Vanny immediately. Everything is according to plan."

"Do you think she might have a backup plan?" asked Melody. "We cut the main power source, but most of the electricity is still working. Including this elevator. We don't know when it will come back on or if Vanny has a backup energy source."

"Guys…you don't think she would immediately hurt the Glamrock Quartet, right?" said Elena worriedly.

"We have to find out," I said sadly. "If the others can't reach to them in time, we can try to. Else…there is only one more choice."

The elevator came to a steady stop. The time suddenly slowed down as we waited for the doors to open. It was like this was the final fight. The final time of my life. Every second turned into minute as I anticipated for what was to come. Would Vanny be there? Would we need to explore through more quiet places again? Are we going to survive in this place?

I took a deep breath and adjusted my glasses.

The door opened to reveal a long hallway…and Vanny was there, idly looking around

"Oh," she said as she turned around…and froze when we stepped in. "Oh."

"Hi there, asshole," snarled Elena.

Vanny tilted her head curiously, the rabbit ears drooping to the side.

"I didn't expect visitors here," she said with a tone of confidence and sass. "I was just planning to make this my own solo-"

CLICK!

I held my crossbow high and aimed at her head. Her stitched, creepy, underrated bunny head with a creepy smile that faked her psychotic nature. She slowly raised her hands up coolly.

"Don't hurt me," she said, her voice sounding like a mocking smile. "What can I do for you? What do you want on the menu? I got some milky milkshakes for you, girls."

"We got something we need," I said, gritting my teeth. "Care to tell us where Glamrock Freddy and his friends are?"

For once, she didn't respond back. She just stared at us, tilting her head again.

I huffed and pressed the trigger.

BANG-!

"Hold on! Hold on! Ah s***. I got this all wrong."

"What? Augustina…I thought that introduction was awesome!"

"Yes, it is, Melody, but we spoiled a LOT of things."

"Ugh…we had been playing around with the frames too much, hadn't we?"

"Seems about right. Well…but it leaves a good impression on us, right?"

"Yeah. It looks amazing. It kicks straight into the park."

"I'm sorry, guys. There are people hearing this and they want to know what is going on. So…let's rewind."

"(Sighs) Fine then."

"We got a lot of things to clear up."
