Hello, I'm sure you are all wondering about my DELTA story. I haven't forgotten about it and I'm not abandoning the story. It's just after working, proofreading and redoing the upcoming chapters, I need a break on that story to work on the other two project The Last Hound and Guardian Angels.
So I'm doing something a bit different for The Last Hound story. I'm going to a separate story where the Guardian Angels characters react to the Chapters of this story. The reactions will be on which I'll put a link to later. (I might put the reaction on fanfiction later but I'll see how it goes.) I'll be uploading the reactions first and then the actual chapter.
"Are there other life forms besides us?"
Countless people on earth had this question on their minds for centuries, with no specific answer from astronomers, who have studied the solar systems. Big Bang theory, black holes, and other space theories, this question is making even the smartest of scientists scratch their heads.
…Well, you don't have to ponder anymore…
...Why do you ask? Because I'm about to reveal something completely new...
...
...Where logic and understanding are thrown out the window…
...
... Where danger lurks in any nook and cranny…
...
...Where it goes far beyond Pluto…
...
...Welcome to where our story begins…
...The story...of the Last Hound.
Chapter 1: Link Between Worlds
The dark and cloudy sky is filled with beams coming from the forest down below. Several trees were covered by the deadly flames of an explosion happening all over the forest.
Those responsible for the destruction were a group of dead tree monsters with skinny leafless branches as arms. The branches on the top were engulfed in fire, but they weren't burning the monsters. On the monster's chest shows what appears to be a red-lined black heart.
"Flamethrower~!"
At the sound of a male voice, a large stream of flames crash into the monsters, instantly obliterating the tree monsters into ashes.
"HA~!" The voice and attack came from a large purple bipedal creature with a horn on his head. "That's how it's done yah dumbass trees~!"
[Nidoking, the Drill Pokemon: Type: Ground/Poison/.]
His victory came short notice when two more of the tree creatures emerged from the thick gray cloud. They both fired off a pair of medium sized fireballs from their burning tree branches. At first it looked like it would cancel each other out, but instead it combined together to form one big fireball.
The Nidoking grinned as yellow static started to appear around his body. "Thunderbolt~!" After yelling, the purple creature fired an arc of electricity from his body.
The Thunderbolt collided with the fireball, canceling each other out, creating a massive explosion. The large Pokemon skidded back a bit from the aftermath, but held his ground.
"Damn, I wasn't expecting it to cancel my thunderbolt," He growled a bit annoyed.
"GANG WAY~!"
"EH?"
Before Nidoking could react, a large purple skunk flew right at the Nidoking, slamming the back of the monster's head, causing his eyes to pop out in a comical way. Afterwards, it somersaulted and landed right on top of the two-tree monster, while the Nidoking dropped face-first to the ground.
"Ugh, what the hell hit me?" The Nidoking wondered, slowly peeling his body off the ground.
"Kukukuku," The skunk creature slowly recovered from his unexpected trip and chuckled, pretending to be unphased. "It seems as though my Death Wind technique flawlessly secured my escape from those foolish weeds."
[Skuntank, the Skunk Pokemon. Type: Poison/Dark.]
The Stuntank noticed Nidoking getting up and snickered. "Oh my Doriku, it seems as though you've bitten more than you can chew. Good thing I, the Toxic Wind Sunko ha-."
BONK~!
Having enough of his voice, the Nidoking dubbed as Doriku silenced the skunk by drilling his fist onto his head, leaving behind a large lump on his forehead.
"Ow~!" The Skuntank dub as Sunko whined before growling at Doriku. "My brother, have you been brainwashed by those weeds?!"
"Hell no~! What gave you the idea to smash into me and take my kills like that~?!" Doriku roared back, butting heads with the skunk.
"It's not like I did that purpose!" Sunko defended back. "I can't control Death Wind so easily, fool!"
"Who are you calling a fool you stinky goth!" Doriku barked back. The two creatures glared at each other.
The two continued their stare down, unaware that a second army of tree monsters charging towards them.
"OverHeat~!"
Upon hearing a young female voice, a large swirly stream of flames flew out from the left side the forest, consuming the entire monster tree army as well as a ton of trees in its path. Once the attack died down, Sunko and Doriku stared palely at the aftermath of the attack.
"...You went overboard again Maxey," A mature sound voice muttered. Emerging out of it were two small mammalian, quadrupedal creatures.
One of them had reddish orange fur with long ears, dark eyes and a small black nose. It had fluffy yellow fur that formed a small tuft on its head. The creature cheerfully ran up to the two purple Pokemon with a smile on her face.
"Sunky~! Doki~! Did you both see my new move I learned?!" She questions with an enthusiastic voice.
[Flareon, the Flame Pokemon. Type: Fire]
"Y-Yes…" Doriku replied while still gawking at half of the forest wiped out. "W-We saw it…"
"T-True your attack was effective, but none compared to my secret explosive smog ability!" Sunko gloated meekly, while nervously sweating.
"It ain't a secret when you announce it you stinkbug," Doriku muttered.
"How dare you call me a bug you fat horned lizard!" Sunko fumed comically.
"I dare you call me a horned lizard again!" Doriku threatened with his large fist.
The black creature that was with Maxey sighed watching the two males arguing with Maxey cheering them on. Unlike the Flareon, she has a sleek, black body with four slender legs, crimson eyes and long pointy ears. What made her stand out was its yellow bands on its ears, legs and tail.
[Umbreon: the Moonlight Pokemon. Type: Dark.]
"Are you two done with your gross manly talk?" The Umbreon harshly scolded, stopping their argument. "If so then quit standing there and keep pushing back those heartless."
"YAY~! More burning down tree monsters~!" Maxey cheered.
Not far from the four, a canine with red pelt marked by black jagged lines fur traversed through the forest of charred trees and blotches of fire. In her mouth she was carrying a black orb with a button on the center of it.
[Arcanine: the Legendary Pokemon. Type: Fire.]
Not far behind chasing after her were two figures. A male that was levitating in the air and a female running at top speed managed to keep up with the flying male.
"Give us the Pokeball, yah mangy mutt!" The male ordered. He extended his arm out, and released a stream of yellow lightning out of it. While, the Arcanine managed to leap to the left, causing the lighting to shoot past her.
While the male kept firing , the female gained speed rushing towards the Arcanine, who was too focused on avoiding the lighting strikes from the male to notice her.
Before the girl could get close to the Arcanine, she slammed face first, right into an invisible wall in between her and the Arcanine.
"Oh great she's here," The male groaned. Before he could react, another figure flew out of the tree, delivering a solid kick into the male's face, sending him crashing into the ground.
The Arcanine slowly turned to find two other humans in front of the other two. One of them looked like a female with short pink hair, she was responsible for an invisible barrier. However what was different was that there were two tails on the back.
"What!? How are you able to use those forms!?" The male questioned slowly recovering from the surprise attack.
"Find…and kill," The second one answered in an emotionless male tone. Despite his voice, the figure was much smaller than the pink haired girl. He has long green like ears, long white hair, and a leafy tail.
"You're not going to save him by standing there Arouna," The woman gave the Arcanine a side glance. "Go, We'll handle these losers."
"ExtremeSpeed!" The canine shouted. In a blink, she dashed with great speed. Leaving the four of them.
Once they were out of sight, the canine named Arouna slowed down. While her paws ached, she continued limping to the forest, until she reached a dead end. Exhausted, she collapsed on the mountainside. She let go of the Poke-ball so she could catch her breath.
"Don't worry...I won't let them take you," She wheezed. The canine slowly looked around and caught a glimpse of a small black, round spaceship leaning against a tree. With little strength she had the dog walk over to the ship and gently put the poke-ball inside the ship.
Arouna pressed the button on the side of the ship. "I hope you have a safe journey. I promise to return you back from wherever you a-!"
HISS~!
Arouna froze upon spotting a shadow overcasting her and the ship. Behind her was a tall male with jet black hair, and a snake-like body.
Without warning, Arouna quickly unleashes a burst of flames out of her mouth, but the monster anticipated it and avoided it. At the same time the rocket was about to launch. The serpent man lash its tail at the shape ship only for Arouna to intercept him taking the blunt force of the tail lash. Arouna grunted as she skidded back a bit.
"Like hell I'll let you harm my son," Aronua declared.
"...Oh he's your son?" The man snickered. "I never knew someone hass still sympathy for a monsster like him."
"Pot calling the kettle black," Aronua scoffed.
The canine closed her eyes as her body started to glow brightly covering her entire body. Once the glowing dies down, a womanly figure is seen, replacing the canine.
She gave one last glance at the ship as it soared high up in the sky through the sky. She felt a tear rolling down her cheeks as the monster was closer and closer towards her.
"I'm...sorry," The woman silently sobbed as the spaceship bolted up into the clouds.
The woman stared up at the spaceship with tears in her eyes, but wiped it off and glared at the heartless. With a determined look, she charged at the group with her fist engulfed in flames.
The flames were used as a transition to a book with flames on the cover of it. A twelve year-old girl with long blonde hair had her head in the book as if she was deep into it.
"MISS HAMES~!"
"...!" Until she quickly sat up, like she just woken up. Her eyes were blinking drowsily, drool was flowing from her mouth. She quickly wiped it away with her sleeve.
"I hope you've been following along with your book," The teacher said suspiciously. She noticed the entire students in the classroom staring at her. "You're going to give me a two page book report on it tomorrow."
"Y-Yes Miss Peachbody," She responded, while trying to refrain from laughing.
The old teacher glared at her for a second before turning back to the blackboard. The blonde girl along with a black hair girl beside her let out a quiet giggle.
"I still can't believe that's her last name." The black hair girl snickered.
"Yeah, sounds like she's born from a peach tree." The blonde commented.
The two were giggling quietly so that their teacher didn't hear them. The boy with short black hair and white skin turned around, facing the two girls.
"Hey, Ericha! Anya!" He whispered, getting the two girls' attention, revealing a photograph. "Check this out! Here is the picture my friend took during his vacation."
The two girls looked at the picture for a second and then burst out laughing. It was so loud that it got every student's attention including the teacher, who glared at the blonde girl known as Ericha, causing her to stop, sinking low to her seat, looking embarrassed.
The teacher continued on without any more interruptions until the final bell rang. This caused some of the students to rush to their cubbies to grab their things and darted out of the classroom. The only ones who were in the classroom were Anya and Ericha.
"Hey!" The two girls turned to find a tall girl with long scarlet hair, poke her head into the room, making sure that the teacher wasn't in the room.
"Hey, Ashely!" The girls greeted her in sync.
She slowly walked in looking around for the teacher. Ericha rolled her eyes. "Quit hiding Ashely, the teacher is already gone."
"Thank goodness!" She sighed in relief. "I really don't want to deal with Ms. Peachbody right now."
"Peach-Body…" Anya giggled again and soon Erica and Ashely joined in the laughter as they walked out of the classroom.
In the empty void of space, the black round ship is seen in the middle of a rubber asteroid belt. It bounced onto multiple meteors until one giant rubber rock bounced it off the asteroid belt.
Suddenly, a yellow rocket school bus with eyes zipped past the small spaceship.
The rocket booster from the bus caused the small ship to be pushed off course, and into a massive, greenish-black wormhole. The space ship started swirling into the wormhole, going deeper and deeper into the vortex until it disappeared into the black abyss.
"So are you guys excited for the graduation dance coming up?" Ashely asked as Ericha and Anya were sitting outside the library.
"Duh! I already picked my graduation outfit." Anya coed. "What about you Ericha?"
She thought for a minute before answering. "I don't know. I can't decide if I should wear the red dress my mother got me for my birthday, or the emerald dress."
"I think you should go with the Emerald," Anya suggested. "It looks so good on you."
"You think so?" Ericha asked.
"Uh, you are talking to the future fashion designer!" Anya scoffed. Ericha rolled her eyes with a grin on her face.
"My apologies, Ms. Penon." She responded, causing Ashely to burst out laughing.
"I hate it when you call me that," Anya whined.
Ericha giggled as she stood up. "Anyway, I better head home. I need to clean my room in time for my parents to get back."
"Wait, aren't you going to wait for your brother and sister?" Ashely asked.
"There at a doctor's appointment," Ericha answered as she climbed up the small stairs. She waved to her friends. "Bye guys!"
"See ya tomorrow!" Anya and Ashely waved back. After Ericha disappeared down the sidewalk, Ashely started giggling.
Anya turned to the tall girl. "What's so funny?"
"Ms. Penon...really?"
"Shut up!"
The green wormhole visibly formed behind Pluto, looking much smaller than the dwarf planet. Then like it was a mouth or something, it spat out the ship as if it had eaten something disgusting.
The small ship zipped over Pluto followed by Neptune, Uranus, Jupiter, Saturn, and Mars.
The ship was then halted when it crashed into the International Space station solar panels, breaking off one of the boosters. The small ship then started slowly floating into space, until it was lured into the earth's atmosphere.
Ericha was walking down the street that led to her home. Since she was walking alone, she had a lot in her mind. 'Three weeks from now is my first ever Grade 6th Graduation Dance. Followed by my actual Graduation the day after.'
Due to her concentration on her thoughts, Ericha walked into the person right in front of her, causing the blonde girl to land hard on her buttocks.
"Ow," Ericha groaned. She rubbed her but in pain.
"Oh! I'm sorry Ericha. I didn't see you there," Ericha looked up to find a tall, dark teenage boy wearing a blue and white T-shirt and blue jeans pants. He had short blue hair with an ahoge. He was carrying a black book bag.
"Oh, it's okay Shermin. I was the one who wasn't paying attention," Ericha replied as she stood up and dusted her pants off.
"My name is Shermar," He sighed, looking a bit annoyed.
"Anyway," Shermar gave Ericha the book bag. "I just wanted to return the books you let me borrow to your mailbox."
"Thanks, but why didn't you put it in my cubby?" Ericha asked, causing the boy to look down to his feet.
"...Last time I did that Curtis accused me of stealing your books," Shermar recalled.
"R-Right…" Ericha blinked in realization.
"Honestly, it's much better than my old school," Shermar admitted in relief. "At the very least the kids and teachers here know that I exist."
"I don't think that being the bully's punching bag counts as being recognized," Ericha replied dryly.
Since Shervan transferred to her school, her friends had been bullying and playing mean tricks on him. Nevertheless, it was primarily her fault that he had no friends besides her.
"I better get home. The trash needs to be taken out before nightfall," Shermar said as he turned around and walked back, but not before waving back at Ericha. "See ya tomorrow at school!"
"Bye!" Ericha waved back. When Shermar was out of sight, she continued to walk back to her home. Due to the fact that her friends hate him, the relationship between him and them wasn't the best.
"I keep saying I'm going to stop them from bullying Shermar, but I'm just making things worse for him," Ericha mumbled to herself. She felt like she was going to scream from all the stress building up in her mind, but she took a deep breath to calm herself. "Now's not the time to feel hassled. I'll just head home, make myself a sandwich and watch some television until my parents get h-."
BOOOOOM~!
Ericha jumped when a fast object from the sky crashed into the ground, leaving out a smoke. The shock wave caused Ericha to fall backward on her butt.
"W-what was that?" Ericha asked herself. She then suddenly realized where that thing landed and got back to her feet. "Oh no!"
Ericha quickly dashed to that direction. Praying to herself that whatever it was that fell from the sky, it didn't demolish her house.
But when she made it to her house, she felt like another heavy atlas of stress piled up on her back.
"Y-y-you gotta be kidding me!" Ericha's emotions were a mix of surprise, horror and confusion.
Right in front of her duplex house apartment was a very huge crater. The beautiful green lawn was covered in dirt and soot.
She slowly walked towards the middle of the carnage and slowly pushed away all the dust to reveal a black sphere spaceship.
