Epiloge
8 Months Later…
Saphira stood in the nursery as she held onto Elizabeth who was crying as she was extremely fussy. The eight-month-old was fussy only because she had been playing with Happy Frog. The baby had been crawling while Happy Frog played chase with her, but she had to leave because there was something that Darren had asked for her to do. Which has left Saphira with a very upset child, and she wasn't entirely happy about it either. Charlie was sitting in his crib, playing with a rattle very loudly and he was also throwing a Glamrock Freddy plush around with a smile on his face. He was not bothered by his sister's crying.
"It's okay, Elizabeth. Auntie Happy Frog will be back," Saphira cooed gently as she rocking the baby in her arms as she tried getting her to settle. "Mommy needs you to have a nap soon." The girl just kept crying and Saphira kissed her forehead gently. "It is alright."
Both Elizabeth and Charlie have grown very well over the last eight months. Both babies have been rather calm babies, which Saphira has enjoyed, though they still had their moments. Especially when they both had gotten sick at the same time for a week, which scared the hell out of Saphira and the animatronics. Especially as giving them the usual childhood vaccines was not likely to happen due to obvious reasons.
But as they got older, they both have shown they were different in personality. Charlie is a quieter boy than Elizabeth. He loved it whenever someone would hold him to rock him, sing to him or tell him stories. The boy may not fully understand the words being said to him, but he was very happy with those activities so far. Elizabeth had a bolder personality. She actually started to crawl before her brother did, and she will crawl out of their sight when they are not looking.
She almost fell down the stairs because of it, but Sundrop had stopped the girl as he has been exceptionally good with the twins. All the animatronics have been great with the twins. They were extremely gentle with them, and it was a whole new experience for them. Monty and Roxy both have refused diaper changes though, which was unsurprising to any of them. But she was glad that the animatronics have been so good with the twins. And the twins loved them.
Saphira had started introducing food to the twins about a month ago, and it became apparent who was the fussy one. Charlie willingly tried and ate vegetables that Saphira had mashed for him to try. She had given him mashed peas, pumpkin and potato to try, and he loved it. But Elizabeth was harder to convince. In fact, after tasting only a bit of pumpkin, she has refused to eat food since, and stuck with breastmilk. It was currently a battle for Saphira.
Saphira turned her head when she heard a knock on the nursery door. "Come in." The door pushed open, and she smiled when she saw Gregory's head peaking through. "Oh, hi, Gregory. I hope Elizabeth is not bothering you while you are doing your homework."
The boy shook his head as he stepped inside. "No, I finished it an hour ago. I was just helping Monty with something for tonight." Gregory looked at Elizabeth who had calmed down upon hearing his voice. "Hey, Lizzie. I hear you are upset because Happy Frog left, hmm. Don't worry, you will see her again very, very soon."
Elizabeth just rests her cheek on Saphira's shoulder. Saphira was relieved that Elizabeth was calming down and she simply rubbed the baby's back gently. "I am glad that you finished your homework, Gregory. I am guessing you need something."
"Actually, no…" Gregory walked over to Charlie's crib and the boy held up his hands to Gregory to be held. "I am here because the animatronics have a surprise for you." She frowned a little as it was not her birthday yet. It was the day after today. "They sent me to collect you and the twins, that is all." Gregory picked the boy up gently and held him in his arms. "You're getting heavy, Charlie…" He sniffed suddenly and grimaced. "And stinky…I came at the right time…"
Saphira chuckled softly at the boy's sarcasm when he realized Charlie needed a diaper change. "I am afraid my hands are tied for the moment, can you do it, Gregory?" The boy nodded as he moved the baby to the change table to begin the process. "I am surprised they are doing a surprise for me, but it is always nice when they do put out one."
Gregory nodded in agreement. Gregory's shoulder has been healed for many months now. He has stepped up as a big brother for both twins, and he absolutely adores them. He and Freddy have bonded closely as well. Last month Gregory had to build a model ship as for a school assignment, and Gregory had Freddy by his side the whole time. He actually themed that ship after Freddy, and it was so wonderful.
Gregory ended up being adopted by Saphira, and he began going to school a few months after the incident with Springtrap. And he has made a lot of friends, and many were jealous Gregory got to live in the pizzaplex. It was really good as he was very good at his subjects, and he got high grades regularly. Mr Hippo actually had Saphira download mathematics for him, and he became a tutor to Gregory, which he liked as the boy loved maths.
Gregory had also turned eleven during this time, and he had a massive party for it as well. The animatronics made sure Gregory knew that his birthday was extremely important to them. It had been really good and a lot of fun. There was a lot of games that they had played on his birthday, and it was just an overall good experience for Gregory. He got a lot of presents as well, including a key to his own apartment. The extra room that they had found next to Saphira's apartment have been renovated so that Gregory would get his own space, especially since the twins cause a bit of distraction.
"So, uh…should I get myself changed?" Saphira asked curiously as she glanced down at herself. "I haven't really put on anything nice since I have given birth…but if it is a nice surprise, I am assuming I should dress for the occasion." Gregory nodded and Saphira smiled. "I'll bring Lizzie with me."
Saphira walked out of the nursery with her daughter on her hip. Elizabeth had completely calmed down at this point and seemed content with just being present with her mother. Saphira was incredibly curious about plan that has been set up to surprise her. Darren did tell her earlier that the pizzaplex was closing early today, and he didn't tell her the reason. This seemed to be the reason as to why that is, and it was a good way to cover up the real plan, and she was thoroughly amused by it.
When she entered her room, Saphira kept a hold of Elizabeth as she walked over to her wardrobe to pick out a dress. Saphira had managed to loss a lot of the excess fat she had on her body from the pregnancy, and she was almost back at the size she was before. But she did go up a dress size to remain comfortable. But she did not mind as the clothes she wore still looked good on her. She decided to pick the rose gold dress she had bought two weeks ago in preparation for her birthday. She has not shown Freddy the dress yet.
It is a strapless dress with ruffles and three, large flowers sewn into the right side of the dress at the hip. There was glitter in the dress that sparkled under any of the lights of the pizzaplex. It was a very beautiful dress. Deciding to go with the dress, she sat her daughter on the bed to get changed. Elizabeth whimpered and grumbled, but she did not cry as she could see Saphira. Saphira knew Elizabeth would cry and throw a tantrum if she walked into the bathroom to change. Once she was dressed, she brushed her hair to the side and put on simple white slippers, deciding not needing to wear heels for tonight. She also ignored the need for makeup, plus she didn't really need it anyway.
Once she was ready, she picked up her daughter from the bed with a smile. "My pretty, princess! Let's go and see what the animatronics have for a surprise!" Elizabeth just giggled because Saphira spun around once, and it made the baby giggle. "Maybe daddy is the one who planned for this." She kissed the girl's forehead and walked out of her room to fin Gregory waiting in the hallway with Charlie in his arms. "Where are we going, anyway? Atrium? That's usually where the surprises are."
Gregory chuckled as he guessed that Saphira was not fooled by where the surprise was going to be, and that was completely fine. "Well, yes, that's where we are going. But I know you will love the rest. I was able to help out with it today too."
"I have no doubt that it will be great. They have done it before." Saphira thought back to the year before on how Freddy surprised and showed her how much he loved her by singing You Make My Dreams Come True. It was the memory she cherished everyday, and sometimes dreams about too. "You have seen their surprises too, given your birthday. So I expect a very fun, great time."
Gregory smiled as they make their way out of the apartment to the elevator. Saphira was trying to think on what it could be. Maybe it is a surprise that will be in Spacebridge. Saphira and Darren were able to get that open two weeks after Springtrap, and Roxy's Bumper Cars was finally completed a month after. And, with the suggestion from Darren, the biggest project was creating a museum part of the pizzaplex to house the original four animatronics and Fredbear, and a rebuilt version of the original pizzeria. Spring Bonnie would be missing due to the fact Springtrap was still in the basement. But the body has decayed to the point when it split it half. Saphira had to go down there a few times, and that is what she has seen left of William Afton. So the pizzaplex was now even better than before as well.
Saphira kept trying to think of what the surprise would be as they go through Rockstar Row to the atrium. She guessed that it might be a simple song surprise, but there was always something more. She knew that the animatronics and Darren have been whispering to each other of the past month and a half, so something was definitely happening, and it seemed it was going to happen tonight. She really could not wait.
When they walk through the door to the atrium, the entire room was almost completely dark. She was met with Darren and Happy Frog, which made Elizabeth squeal excitedly and bounce in Saphira's arms. Happy Frog smiled as she stepped closer. "Oh, I am sorry I had to run, my little niece." She gently took the baby from Saphira and looked down at Gregory as Charlie looked up at her. "And how's my little prince? He looks like he might fall asleep."
"Well, he could. It was nearly nap time for them, which I hope that they will still get." Saphira looked around at the atrium curiously with a frown. "Hmm…I am going to guess that they are on…" She jumped in surprise when Happy Frog held out a microphone with small, fake emeralds stuck to the handle. "What is this for?"
"You are going to need. Hopefully you will know the lyrics. And you look absolutely gorgeous in that dress."
Saphira raised an eyebrow as she was curious about what Happy Frog meant, though with the smirks on her face, along with Darren and Gregory, this was definitely something that had been planned. She glanced up as she heard the sound of drums being played followed by guitars, keytar and piano. As soon as the tune was being played, Saphira recognized the song instantly. The lights begin to turn back on slowly with a blue, dim spotlight moving to the stage to shine on Freddy directly. She clasped the microphone happily as tears fill her eyes as Freddy began to sing with his eyes locking onto hers.
'Lookin' in your eyes,
I see a paradise,
This world that I've found is too good to be true.
Standin' here beside you,
Want so much to give you,
This love in my heart that I'm feeling for you.'
Saphira's cheeks turn a rosy pink as she listened to him singing the song to her. She loved hearing his voice when he sang, and she always enjoyed it when he sang songs that were not the same songs he and the others sing regularly. As he finished singing the first part of the song, a pink spotlight turned on and turned to shine on her, and she grimaced a little, but her eyes quickly adjust to it. Her dress sparkled brightly with the spotlight on her and she began to sing the second part of the song.
'Let 'em say we're crazy,
I don't care about that.
Put your hand in my hand,
Baby, don't ever look back.
Let the world around us,
Just fall apart,
Baby, we can make it,
If we're heart to heart.'
Both she and Freddy step closer to each other as she sang. He stepped down from the stage, and she could now see Bonnie, Monty, Chica, Foxy, Roxy, Foxette, Mr Hippo, Orville and Pigpatch on the stage playing their instruments. Only Happy Frog was absent due to helping with Elizabeth, and her instrument was not needed for this song. She got the joy of watching and moving towards the door to the side of the bottom floor leading up to the roof of the building.
'And we can build this dream together,
Standing strong forever,
Nothing's gonna stop us now.
And if this world runs out of lovers,
We'll still have each other,
Nothing's gonna stop us,
Nothing's gonna stop us now.
Oh, whoa!'
Saphira felt so elevated at the moment as they both sing this wonderful song. It felt like another dream for her, and she was afraid that she was going to wake up from it. But she knew that this was not a dream. She and Freddy continue walking slowly towards each other, taking each step carefully at the same time. Saphira had originally started walking towards him, and he began to do the same. The other animatronics follow behind him slowly with their instruments without interrupting.
However, Freddy moved closer to Saphira and gently took her left hand into his, looking into her eyes with a love filled expression. If he could blush, Freddy's face would be very red at this point, and Saphira knew that. While she and Freddy haven't had much time to themselves at all in the last eight months, both she and Freddy still loved each other. And neither one of them could be happier about it.
'I'm so glad I found you,
I'm not gonna lose you.
Whatever it takes,
I will stay here with you.
Take you to the good times,
See you through the bad times.
Whatever it takes,
Is what I'm gonna do.'
Saphira noticed that Freddy was guiding her towards the side door, the same door that Freddy had her walk-through last year. To the same rooftop where they spent their first, intimate night together. The brewing excitement in her stomach became hard to ignore. She could not help but kiss Freddy's cheek quickly between the lyrics, while letting her happy tears fall from her eyes as she extremely overwhelmed with emotion.
'Let 'em say we're crazy,
What do they know?
Put your arms around me,
Baby, don't ever let go.
Let the world around us,
Just fall apart.
Baby, we can make it,
If we're heart to heart.'
She looked at the door as she saw Darren, Gregory and Happy Frog opening it and walking up the stairs quickly towards the rooftop. Saphira was really excited and curious, but she kept herself from running after them. But mostly because her hand with held within Freddy's hand, and she honestly didn't want to run away from him. She stood close to him, feeling the heat of his body engulfing hers as they sing and remain entrance with each other's love.
'And we can build this dream together,
Standing strong forever,
Nothing's gonna stop us now.
And if this world runs out of lovers,
We'll still have each other,
Nothing's gonna stop us.
Nothing's gonna stop us…
Ooh, all that I need is you
All that I ever need
All that I want to do
Is hold you forever
Forever and ever...'
Freddy pulled Saphira closer to his body so he could kiss her passionately, gently hugging her as she pressed herself against him. She ran her hand over Freddy's stomach hatch gently, and reached up to his bowtie to caress. Saphira and Freddy did actually decide to see if she could fit inside his stomach hatch like Gregory could. That boy was now too big to fit, but as Saphira was very short, they had been curious. And she discovered that she could. It was a tight fit, but Freddy could carry her around like he could with Gregory. With some deliberate alterations to the hatch, Saphira was now able to sit within his chest comfortably. But she has not been carried within him for a while due to parenthood coming first.
They stop their kiss as they begin to walk to the stairs. She felt the cool breeze flowing through the door. It was late afternoon at the moment, not evening. Which was an odd time to close the pizzaplex, but that is what has happened. And Saphira was happy, and if she got to share a sunset with Freddy, she would be extremely happy. She loved simple moments, and she has not been able to have those since the twins were born.
'And we can build this dream together,
Standing strong forever,
Nothing's gonna stop us now.
And if this world runs out of lovers,
We'll still have each other,
Nothing's gonna stop us,
Nothing's gonna stop us…
Build this dream together
Standing strong forever
Nothing's gonna stop us now
And if this world runs out of lovers
We'll still have each other
Nothing's gonna stop us.'
Looking up the stairs, Saphira could see that the door was open at the top. She could see the sky, and the clouds that were painted in yellow, red and purple from the setting sun. She really wanted to run up the stairs, but as she was thinking that, Freddy picked her up bridal style suddenly, which almost causing her to drop her microphone, but she kept a hold of it so they could finish the song. She looked over his shoulder to see the other animatronics following, and they all had smiles on their faces.
'And we can build this dream together,
Standing strong forever,
Nothing's gonna stop us now.
And if this world runs out of lovers,
We'll still have each other,
Nothing's gonna stop us.
And we can build this dream together
Standing strong forever
Nothing's gonna stop us now.'
Just as they finish the song, Freddy reached the top of the stairs, and Saphira looked out to see what they had prepared. She expected a private cabana, similar to last time. However, she was met with something far different. Not only was there a white canopy still set up with white lounges perfect for spending time together, but there was now a garden, a greenhouse, and even an area where grass had been laid out. This was likely going to have a playground eventually, but the only thing there was here was a hill with a young, but still tall oak tree at the top with wildflowers scattered around the hill.
Saphira nearly dropped her mic again from shear amazement at what she was seeing. This place has been worked on for months, and she could tell. The canopy had fairy lights wrapped around the beams and they were currently on as well, adding to the extremely magical moment that was before her. She sniffled a little as she felt her emotions boil before she turned her head and kissed Freddy passionately, letting her happy tears roll down her face.
"Thank you! Thank you so much!" Saphira could not help but hug him as he smiled at her while she let out sobs of happiness. "This is so…amazing!" She looked at everything before her and Freddy lowered her feet to the ground. "I…I had wondered what we were going to do with the roof. But you would always tell me not to worry about it." She looked at Darren who was grinning ear to ear. "This was your plan."
He nodded. "If it worked so well last time, I figured this should be evolved as something you and the twins can enjoy as well. I know they're still babies, and they aren't a year old yet, but in the future this can be a place they can come and play."
Saphira nodded in agreement as she walked over to him and hugged him happily. "I don't know what I would do without you, Darren. You…you're like the brother I never had." Darren's smile widened. "So thank you for helping me make this place better. And I know people love the pizzaplex more now."
"As they should. A happier manager is controlling the pizzaplex." Darren stepped back with a smile and glanced at Happy Frog and Gregory as the two babies began to whimper, though Charlie only whimpered for a few moments before he closed his eyes while sucking his thumb. "I guess I should make sure your kids have their nap. You and Freddy can enjoy the outdoors."
Saphira was very happy. She and Freddy were going to be alone together. She turned to the other animatronics as they smile at her. "And you guys…the things that you do for me, it is just…unbelievable…"
"I guess sometimes you must think it is a dream," Bonnie chuckled lightly and she nodded in agreement. "With your past, it makes sense. But thankfully, this is no dream."
"Nope, most certainly not. It would not make sense for anyone to dream up someone as beautiful, and perfect as me!" Roxy ran her hand through her hair, tossing it around and making everyone chuckle at her. "Oh, and by the way…" She eyed off the dress Saphira was wearing and she gave the girl a thumbs up. "Now that is a dress. It doesn't compliment your eyes…but since they sparkle, the dress works well. Good job!"
"Thanks, Roxanne." She spun around on her heel, feeling the dress twirl from the air suddenly moving around it. "I love it! I picked it up only a few weeks ago. It was meant for tomorrow…but I am glad I am wearing it now."
"Thankfully, I have my glasses on," Monty commented, making Saphira giggle at his joke. He looked at Gregory as he noticed the boy rocking Charlie with a smile on his face. "Come now, kid. No point in letting those babies stay out here. Then how about a round of some golf?"
"You're on!" Gregory chuckled as he, Happy Frog and Monty walk down the stairs quickly. Saphira watched to make sure none of them fell down the stairs, but they did not, and she was able to relax knowing her twins were safe.
Mr Hippo stepped closer and hugged Saphira gently and kissed her forehead. "You deserve it, Saphira. Even if today is not your birthday, just remember that today is just another gift."
She nodded as she agreed with him. "Yes, I know…but I am happy. I am sure you have something else planned for tomorrow, but…" She looked at Freddy who was watching quietly with a smile on his face. "I am happy for surprises any day." She hugged Mr Hippo again happily. "Thank you, dad…for being here." She kissed his cheek before turning to Pigpatch. "And thanks for being there as well, pa." Pigpatch grinned and hugged Saphira happily. Saphira had started calling Mr Hippo dad and Pigpatch pa for the last seven months, mostly because of their help with her and the twins. "I couldn't have gone through this without any of you."
"Well…it is us who are in debt to you. You did bring us online again. And you had complete faith that we would be able to thrive among the others like we used to." Pigpatch kissed her forehead gently and stepped back, freeing her from the hug. "It is a good thing you were able to fix us. So we will never let you down. Now enjoy your time with Freddy, Saphira. You can enjoy a small break from you son and daughter tonight."
Saphira's cheeks were red as she watched the animatronics walk back down the stairs, leaving her and Freddy alone on the top. She turned to Freddy and jumped at him to kiss him passionately again. Freddy held her tightly against his body with a gentle hum. His hands rub her back gently and feel the curves of her body before she stepped back and grabbed his hand to walk over to the hill. She would look at the garden and greenhouse a little later. She stepped onto the grass and smiled as she felt the green strands between her toes.
Freddy has never touched grass before, so this was new to him. He stepped onto the grass carefully, and lifts his foot back in surprise, making Saphira look at him curiously. "Huh, the grass tickles."
She grinned at him. "Yeah, but you get used to it. Come on, let's go to the top of the hill."
Freddy walked onto the grass, despite feeling uncertain by the tickling feeling on his body, but he followed Saphira to the top of the hill. There, the two of them sat on the hill and Freddy held onto Saphira as they gaze over the land in front of them. Saphira and Freddy could see the trees of a forest in the distance, along with mountains on the horizon. It was extremely peaceful. Freddy glanced up at the birds that flew by, as seeing animals was something he was not used to.
"Freddy…" He turned his head when Saphira addressed him. She looked at him with a smile on her face. "Do you remember what you said sometime ago?" He did not respond as he did not know what she meant by that. "You wanted to…be able to impregnate me, even if it was just once."
"Oh…" The animatronic was surprised that Saphira brought that up. She had already voiced she was uncomfortable about the idea after what happened with the twins. But she has fallen in love with motherhood. And she has done a wonderful job getting along with Gregory. "I remember that you rejected the idea. And I fully understand why."
She smiled at him and kissed him. "Well…at the time…I was not wanting more. But now…" She blushed and ran her hand through her hair and twirled a strand in her finger. "Well…I think I might change my mind about that again. I was able to find how to make you fertile, thanks to Springtrap's notes, so…I might be open to it."
Freddy was extremely happy to hear that and he leaned in to kiss her. "I am very happy to hear that, Saphira. I know it was hard, and it is still hard. But if you have changed your mind, I will be happy. But if you never want more children, I am happy as well." She rolled her eyes in amusement at him and Freddy gently pulled her down, so she was laying on top of him. Seeing the sky behind her made her look even more beautiful to him. "You already know that I love you, Saphira. Another child is not something that is on my mind. I am happy, and I know you are too."
She leaned down to kiss Freddy passionately, and rubbed his muzzle gently as she gazed at his eyes with love. "Well…now you know. But right now…all I want is you." She kissed him again as she felt the fire growing in her stomach. "My body has healed enough too, Freddy." He smirked at her as he felt her putting pressure on his crotch gently. "I love you, Freddy…my Glamrock Freddy…" She looked up at the sky with a smile on her face before looking back down at him. "There is no place else in this world that would make me happier than the place beside you."
Freddy kissed her passionately and gently, caressing her back gently and teasing the zipper of her dress with his claws. "You made my world a brighter place, Saphira. Just as the song we had sang together, yours eyes are a paradise to me. And I love you…I love you, my super star."
The two proceeded to kiss each other again as the warmth of the fading sunlight washed over them. Saphira and Freddy enjoyed what was left of the sunset before they spent the night enjoying each other's company. The two of them were happy. Especially Saphira. She first came to the pizzaplex terrified of the animatronics. She came here with the intent of not interacting with the animatronics as much as possible. But now they were her family. Her real family. One that will never, ever hurt her. The pizzaplex is home to her.
Phew! 131 chapters…this is by far the longest, singular book I have ever written. To be honest, it was meant to be 80 chapters…that clearly never happened lol. But I had so much fun writing this story, even when I went on a long hiatus from it. But this story will forever remain special to me.
And with Five Nights at Freddy's Security Breach Ruin set to release in just a couple days from now, my promise of finishing this story before that DLC releases has been fulfilled. I do not think I will write a sequel, because it does not need a sequel. So we can enjoy Ruin when it comes out in a few days.
I can now turn my attention to my other FNAF story, Why Me? It is an old story I am in the process of rewriting, and hope to complete the first book before the FNAF movie releases in October. It is a vastly different story to this one, but that story is special as well.
Thanks to everyone who has stuck around and enjoyed this story. I know there were a lot of other things I wanted to put into this story, but it would have made it so long. But I am very happy with how it has ended. I hope everyone enjoyed reading the story until the very end. Please do check my profile to read the other stories I have written, and the stories I am currently writing. I know you will enjoy those too.
