(Wizengamot meeting hall 1)

Though the entire Wizengamot had been assembled, nobody was really sure who had called the emergency meeting that had occupied their July morning. It was a shock to most members of the meeting when Albus Dumbledor, the elected chief warlock walked in and took his place, most believing that he was still in I.C.W. custody like their children had told them of, considering his arrest in Hogwarts.

"Good morning everyone! I'm happy you all are in such good health this fine July morning!" Spoke Albus, a small smile on his face as he greeted his fellow attending members. With all of the information he had obtained and given out in the past few days, he was more then happy for this meeting to be taking place. He wanted his peace and quiet dammit!

"Were you the one who called this meeting, Chief Warlock?" Questioned Augusta Longbottom, the current regent of house Longbottom and representative of the neutral party. As one of the older members of the Wizengamot, she was a known and very dangerous member of the group, being a stout follower of neutrality, not the light or dark. She didn't follow the light because, to be blunt, she didn't trust Albus due to his numerous mishaps over the years, her being one of the few old enough to remember them all. Likewise, she rebuked the dark just as easily, as she refused to follow the group responsible for her son and daughter-in-law's condition and being responsible for the death of not an inconsiderate amount of ancient and most noble bloodlines.

Pure blood policy her left ass cheek…

"As a matter of fact, Augusta, I was!" he replied, his smile continuing even in the face of her suspicion, only making her more curious of what he was planning. He rarely smiled as much as he used to, so for a perpetually smiling Albus to walk into the Wizengamot?

Curious…

"Then what is the issue, Chief Warlock?" Came the cultured voice from the left most side of the hall. Where the pure blood block sat, a medium height man was stood amongst his seated fellows, his pale blond hair and high-end robes a visible indicator of who he was.

"That, lord Malfoy, is what I bring to you today. Bring in the accused!" Shouted Dumbledor, startling the majority of lords and ladies with his sudden bellow.

At his words, a pair of English Aurors dragged in a shackled and bound man, a black cloth sack over his head to obstruct his identity from the group. As they reached the middle of the room, Albus conjured a solid iron chair that the two Aurors proceeded to bind him to the chair with every form of chain, rope and immobilization charm they both knew. When they finished, they both moved back and to the entrance door, standing guard at the only way in and out of the chamber.

"Thank you Aurors Moody and Tonks. Ladies and gentlemen, I present to you, Peter 'Wormtail' Pettigrew!" announced Dumbledor, using his own wand to rip the sack off of his head, revealing the man Dumbledor now knew as the traitor to his friends and cause.

When the bag came off his head and revealed his face to the group at large, the three power blocks all rose and began shouting, demanding to know how he was alive in one breath, and in the next praising the survival of a hero of the dark lords reign.

"Silence!" bellowed Dumbledor, setting the three parties back to their seats and into their hushed whispers. As the whispers finally died down, he turned his gaze down to peter and that calm, pleasant twinkle in his eye that everyone knew, vanished. In its place was the gaze of a man who knew his duty and knew what it would take to fulfill it, even if he didn't like it.

"Peter Pettigrew, you stand accused of being an illegal Animagus, several counts of breaking and entering, along with grand larceny…" began Dumbledor, the charges confusing some of the attending lords, not seeing any reason for the emergency trial. "… and, of course, the betrayal of houses Potter and Longbottom to dark lord Voldemort, resulting in the death of Lord and Lady Potter, and the orphaning of their son, the current heir Potter, the current physical and mental condition of the Lord and Lady Longbottom, and any trauma the current heir Longbottom possesses, along with the false accusation and imprisonment of the current lord of house Black."

The utter Silence that filled the room in the wake of the second half of his speech was absolutely deafening, the various lords and ladies of the Wizengamot trying, and failing, to process the information that had just been thrown into their faces. When enough time had passed, Amelia Bones, the current head of the D.M.L.E. (and the youngest department head in history, at that) stood from her chair facing the grim Albus dumbledor, a rather perturbing sight for many of them.

"Perhaps some more context is needed, Chief Warlock, because right now, none of what you just said makes any sense." She requested, her training and natural calmness allowing her to handle the situation with more ease then the rest.

"Ah, apologies. Perhaps the arresting party will have an easier time explaining then I would. You are free to enter!" called out Albus, confusing everyone more, believing Moody the one to have made the arrest. But it seems that wasn't the case.

When Albus finished speaking, the large granite doors swung open, revealing the faces of the first hit wizards squadron to the Wizengamot, along with a sixth cloaked man standing amongst them. At the sight of them, many witches and wizards felt an invisible pressure from their magic, something most had come to recognize as a 'danger sense' as it were.

Whenever the magic of a magical entity was in the presence of an abjectly dangerous creature, magical or otherwise, it tried to warn them. As the magical grew older, the sense grew less frequent, as their magic recognized that they had the potential ability to handle the situation, meaning the magical wasn't in enough danger to trigger it. It was a useful ability that allowed most magical people to live well into their adult lives. And right now?

It was screaming at them to run away. Begging them to flee for their lives, and not be caught in the path of the monsters in front of them. Screeching that they needed to either back away or outright run. For most lords, it was a curious feeling, one that most had forgotten. But not all.

"Presenting the arresting party, the first hit-wizard squadron of the I.C.W." began Dumbledore, deciding to dip into his flair for dramatics in order to really sell the group and their dangerousness. "Butch Masters, the American War-Master. Natsai Onai, the current huntress queen. Zuko Agni, the purifying flame and crown prince of the throne of magical China. Winter Schnee, current Winter maiden and heiress to the Schnee family."

"And the other two?" Questioned Augusta, having a feeling that he wanted them to acknowledge the leader and the hidden one specifically separately from the rest. She just didn't know why yet. The first four already were terrifying enough separately, for the four of them to be united under one leader was a horrifying thought.

The American War-Master was a title as old as the country itself. In every generation of magical people born on American soil, as the pervious War-Master died, there was always one person who is exceptionally talented in both waging war and fighting on the front lines being born. Said to be born with the soul of the first ever War-Master, Horus Lupercal, in their minds to guide them, they were talented at it in ways that defied explanation, often being born from families with minimal military experience, and always destined for incredible power and prestige. They were often the leaders of the magical police and military of the American magical community.

The huntress queen was an international title, any witch from the entire world could claim it. It was often viewed with a certain level of reverence, as the position was considered to be the blessed position of the various hunter goddesses from cultures the world over. It was supposedly started in ancient Greece, when the goddess Artemis was forced to leave the mortal coil for the blessed domain of Olympus. She had left the position of Huntress queen to any who had the skill and drive to obtain it., declaring it a position she blessed to be her voice on the earth. As time passed, and more cultures learned of the position, they often sent their own representatives to try and claim the title, only for it to eventually become an international point of peace, co-operation and competition. Supposedly, the huntress queen of the time had been the one to write the first charter of the I.C.W.

The title of price of magical China was scary enough to most people who heard it. but it was the title of 'purifying flame' that most had at least heard of in the annals of history more then once. The title was a title exclusive to the Agni family, the ruling family of magical China. At seemingly random times, a warrior of the family, usually male, but exceptions were recorded, was born to the family. They were often a righteous person, having a hard stance against the abuse and cruelty that most lived through. They were called the 'purifying flame' for one simple reason. Dark magics had no effects on them. Magics that required dark emotions to use, such as the three unforgivable, were next to useless against them. Along with an exceptional talent with fire based magic, they were known to burn out dark witches and wizards from their society in an effort to protect everyone from their dark influence.

The Schnee family were a known family the magical world over. Known as one of, if not the, richest family in the magical world, anyone who wanted to do business internationally had to pass through the Schnee family to do it. For Winter, however, she took more pride in her title of Winter maiden then she did her own disgraceful name. The Winter maiden, alongside the three others named after the other seasons, was an exclusively female title. Legends claimed that they were made by Merlin himself shattering his power into four pieces shortly before his death, others claim the original maidens emerged from magic itself. Regardless of where they originated from, the powers were only passed on at the time of death, to the last woman or young girl that the maiden thought of before death. Known for an exceptional talent with elemental magic, with specialization in the element associated with their season, they were often viewed as demi-gods for their incredible power.

"The cloaked man shall remain unknown for the time being, as he has a very critical role to this tale." Revealed Albus, before turning to face the leader.

"As to the young man at the front, before you stands the most powerful man alive, Naruto Uzumaki. The youngest master sorcerer in recorded history, knower of the lost language of the most ancient of magics, the only known recorded God-kin, and the heir apparent to the throne of the most ancient and powerful nation of magical Japan, and by extension the clan head of the Uzumaki clan."

If the rest of the group scared them, then their leader absolutely terrified them. his first title alone was absolutely terrifying, master sorcerer. A position that even Albus Dumbledore couldn't claim to hold. To be a master sorcerer, one had to be a certified master in all the basic forms of magic, alongside at least three of the more esoteric branches. Meaning he had to have achieved mastery in charms, transfiguration, potions, defense against the dark arts, astronomy, ancient runes, and arithmancy, alongside three other, far more dangerous branches of magic. That may not seem like much on paper, but in reality, mastery in each branch required no less than nine years of dedicated study to that particular branch. Meaning, for most people, it would require no less then ninety-nine years of constant study with no downtime in between studies, never mind their basic education from eleven through eighteen, meaning most wouldn't obtain mastery until they reach at least 117 years old. There have been exceptional people who obtained it in less, but even then, they still obtained it in their, at earliest, seventies. Due to the requirements needed to obtain master sorcerer, there have only been a handful in all of recorded history. 'You could count them on two hands and have fingers to spare' level rare. For Naruto to have obtained it in his twenties?

It spoke of an incomparable understanding of magic on a level that most people cant even begin to conceptualize, never mind comprehend.

The rest of his titles scared them almost more than that though…

"If your all done gawping at me, there is a trial going on for this traitor." Announced Naruto, shaking the Wizengamot out of their stupor, and pulled their focus back to the person chained in front of them.

"Right, you are my boy, lets begin. Wake him up, would you?" Asked Dumbledore, getting a nod from him in turn. Turning to Butch, he gestured him forward and to the prisoner.

As Butch walked up to Peter, many noticed a distinct lack of a wand in his hand, leaving them curious how he planned to wake him up. Their thoughts were answered in a rather short order.

"WAKE UP, YOU FUCKING TRAITOR!" Roared Butch as he dashed his fist across the side of Peters head, damn near taking it off with the strength of his hit. As he did many people rose from their seats, screaming at him about his barbaric actions and violation of I.C.W. practices.

"SILENCE!" rumbled Naruto, his voice amplified and rumbling like thunder in the contained room.

"Your soldier just violated the 'basic rights' act of 1676, a core foundation of I.C.W. laws. Explain yourself!" Shouted Lucious Malfoy, hiding his own concerns on wormtail being captured behind his, admittedly excellent, poker face. He knew wormtail was the real traitor of the order, not Sirius, and that wormtail was a servant of his lord. He also knew that if he was not silenced, everything he worked to set up in his lords favor for his eventual return would be for nothing, as wormtail would assuredly rat them out for a potentially lighter sentence.

"That act was made in order to defend the living against violations of their own rights and privacy, and as both I.C.W. and British ministry records show, Peter Pettigrew is dead. Ergo, the 'basic rights' act does not apply to him. We know, we checked." Summarized Winter, her uniform crisp and clean as she informed them of the basic oversight.

"Peter Pettigrew, you stand accused of a rather long line of charges, the least of which will see you in Azkaban for the foreseeable future, the higher end ones will see you publicly executed immediately. You have 5 minutes to explain yourself, begin." Spoke Naruto, his voice cold and hard, having zero compassion for a traitor such as this one. The instant the silencing charm was removed, the rat began to squeal.

"I DIDN'T WANT TO! But the dark lord, he has magics you can't begin to comprehend. He would have killed me! He forced me to give up the location! HE FORCED ME! I SWEAR IT!" Screeched Pettigrew, sounding more and more like the rat he truly was the longer he prattled on.

"Your words have been declared as void, on the grounds that you just lied about the circumstances of your actions." Declared Naruto, shocking the committee with how quick he said it.

"You were the secret keeper of the potters, when they were hidden under the Fidelius charm. For those of you who don't know what that is, allow me to explain. It completely hides an area from being detected. There is no known way to circumvent this charm, but there is a way through it. In order for the charm to work, someone must be selected as the 'Secret Keeper', they are the only one who can share the location of the charm, and the location can only be shared willingly. If it is coerced or forced out, it is worthless as it will not activate the reveal function of the charm. Meaning, the only way Voldemort could have learned where the potters were hidden, was if Peter here willingly gave up the location to him. Even veritaserum and the imperius curse cannot fool the Fidelius charm." Finished Natsai, her white eyes unnerving many in the room.

"In response, we will now be forcibly administering Veritaserum in order to pull the truth from your lies." Uttered Zuko, his unburned eye as thinly opened as his burnt one from his rage. He couldn't bare to stand to look at the pathetic wretch in front of him. Even Zhao wasn't this pathetic!

"You cannot forcibly administer Veritaserum, it violates the basic-" Began Malfoy, before his words were once again interrupted.

"We've already established he doesn't fall under the basic rights act. What, you want him to fall under the outdated 'lords rights' of your country as well? Damn shame that, considering he isn't a lord." Snapped back Butch, his own temper with the despicable lord beginning to reach its limit.

Walking up to Dumbledor, Winter presented him a clear glass vial containing a clear liquid, asking him to check its authenticity. When he nodded and confirmed its legitimacy, she walked over to the bound rat. As she arrived, she nodded to Butch, who proceeded to grab Pettigrew by his jaw and forehead. He held the jaw in place while wrenching his head back, forcing peter to either open his mouth or have his jaw broken, in which case it will just hurt more to have his mouth forced open. He quickly open his mouth, to which winter quickly dripped three drops onto his tongue, before nodding at Butch again, who slammed his mouth shut to prevent him from spitting it out. When his eyes took on a notably glassy look, she began with her questioning.

"What is your name?" she prompted.

"Peter Pettigrew."

"When were you born?" She prompted again.

"November 30th, 1959."

"When did you attend Hogwarts?" she prompted once more.

"September 1971 to June 1978."

"Headmaster?" she asked, turning to face the headmaster of Hogwarts.

"It's all correct, the potion has taken effect." He responded, a sad look on his face at the sight of a one time student and member of his order, and how low he had sunk.

"Where have you been for the past twelve years?" she asked, turning back to face the accused.

"In hiding, among various houses at first, mostly those with young women in them. but for the last ten, I've been hiding in my Animagus form as the Weasley families pet rat." He answered, his truth disgusting those who had daughters, wondering if the lecher had been in their homes at any point.

"Why were you in hiding?" She questioned curious as to his answer.

"To preserve the lie I told through my death." He answered.

"What lie?"

"That Sirius Black was a traitor."

The Wizengamot erupted at that. Demands of the truth were shouted left and right, while more still questioned how this was only coming to light now. It took a significant cannon blast from Albus' wand tip to quiet the shouting match.

"Elaborate on that Pettigrew." She began again.

"When I made it seem as if Black had killed me, I unintentionally made him look like the one who betrayed the Potters, to which my lords inner circle members ordered me to be silent and remain hidden, in the hopes it would leave Harry Potter vulnerable." He explained.

"Then Sirius wasn't the Traitor?" She clarified.

"How could he be when he swore the godfathers oath?" he replied.

That got a series of gasps from the crowd, many in disbelief that this never came to light during his trial. Godfather oaths were a serious thing ( I swear I didn't make that pun intentionally), as well as a magically binding oath. To swear a godfathers oath was to swear that no harm would ever come to the subject in any way from your actions, that their safety was always the oath takers primary concern, along with any normal matters and duties of being a godfather.

If Sirius had truly sworn the oath, there was no way for him to betray the Potters, as it would contradict the obligations of the godfather oath. He'd be dead long before now if he had.

"I motion to dismiss the kiss on sight order for Sirius Black and instead move it to a bring in for questioning order!" Announced Augusta, standing form her own seat.

"I Second that!" Proclaimed Amelia Bones, herself having already stood.

"Third!" Came the proclamation from another member of the neutral party in the form of Jonathan Greengrass, current lord of house Greengrass.

"Very well, a show of wands for those who support the motion?" called Albus.

A large gathering of lit wands were raised into the air.

"Those opposed?"

A much smaller group were raised for this option.

"Motion is carried! Sirius Black is hereby removed from the kiss on sight list and instead moved to the bring in for questioning list" Announced Albus, a small smile on his face.

"Then I suppose now is as good a time as any." Spoke up Naruto, drawing all eyes to him. Turning his head to the cloaked figure, he nodded to him.

"You can remove your hood now, my friend."

With surprising deftness, two hands reached up from within the cloak and grasped the hood before throwing it back and off of the now revealed man's head.

"HELLO ALL! Lovely day don't you think?" asked Sirius, his signature troublemaker smile from Hogwarts plastered all over his face.

AND SCENE! Well Finally! I'm so sorry it's taking so long. A lot of shits going on in my life right now. Last time I posted, I said my nan is doing better. And she was. Right up until she went septic in a matter of days and was about half a step from deaths door right after I posted that. It's not been fun. Not at all. But she's on the mend and has been for a while now. I just took a lot of my time and energy away from my hobbies, which unfortunately included this. I'm trying to come back, I really am.

Anyway, in other news imma shamelessly plug myself now. I recently started streaming on twitch! My name there is Hadradajust, if you got a twitch account and feel like supporting me, drop a follow and hop into stream every now and then to chill. I mostly play single player survival games and story driven games, due to mediocre internet right now, but I hope to play some multiplayer survival soon if I can get a better I.S.P. thanks for your time!

So, if you liked the story, leave a comment! It always helps me to read some positive reviews and constructive criticisms are always helpful. Any flamers will be used to cook well-done steaks for the hunters of Bherna village, the Soaratorium, Astera, Seliana, Kamura village and Elgado outpost. Keep your stamina up folks!
