In a vast, open grassland, a pair of peculiar creature could be seen standing with an air of divinity.

One was what appeared to be a young woman with long purple hair flowing down her back. Tufts of hair poke out, with small braids coming down from each of her shoulders. She had two ram-like horns protruding out from the side of her head, and a yellow star-shaped flower on top of her left horn.

She wore a white wool shawl covering her shoulders and a red scarf around her neck. She also had two fluffy white wrist terry and a pair of red gloves. She was dressed in a pink kimono with blue stripes that reached all the way to her thighs, held close to her body with a blue waist sash, tied with a yellow bow on her back. She had white baggy pants, covered by magenta colored leg sleeves starting from her knees all the way the down to her black hooves. To top it all off, she had a white mask with red patterns concealing her face, and held an ethereal wooden blue bow in her right hand.

The other creature was that of a floating head of a giant white wolf with purple eyeliner, accentuating its vibrant yellow eyes. Its lips were also dyed in a deep shade of purple, curling into a mischievous smile, showing a row of sharp, glistening fangs. The wolf's fur was pure white, with a few strands of purple hair falling from its forehead.

"Where are we, little Lamb?" the wolf asked, its raspy voice echoing through the grassy plains.

"I do not know, dear Wolf." replied the lamb, her voice soft yet lacking any sort of emotion.

The two creatures were known by many names: the Lamb and the Wolf, Ina and Ani, Farya and Wolyo, the Eternal Hunters. But most commonly, they were referred to as Kindred.

Kindred, the Lamb and the Wolf, were celestial beings who embodied the very concept of death. They roamed the mortal realm, marking those whose time had come with the touch of their presence. If the dying chooses a peaceful death, then Lamb will take them swiftly with their arrows, if they choose to fight death, them Wolf will come for them. The nature of the "choice" is not always clear and obvious, as many have chosen without knowing, due to living a life that put them in the path of one of the Kindred.

As Lamb and Wolf stood in the open grassland, the wind gently rustling through their ethereal forms, they surveyed their surroundings. The vast expanse of green stretched out before them, with tufts of colorful wildflowers swaying in the breeze. The sky above was painted in shades of orange and pink as the sun began its descent, casting a warm glow across the land.

Lamb, with her enigmatic mask concealing her visage, looked at Wolf with her calm, expressionless gaze. "Dear Wolf, I believe this realm is no longer that of Runeterra. Although, this does not change our purpose. For where there is life-"

"there is also death!" Wolf finished her sentence, its voice carrying a hint of excitement. "And where there is death-"

"there we shall be." Lamb continued, her voice blending seamlessly with Wolf's.

The two celestial beings shared a moment of understanding, their connection palpable as they spoke in unison. They knew their duty well, to end the cycle of life and guide souls to their final rest.

Years flew by as Kindred continued their timeless journey, traversing the new realm with grace and purpose. They encountered various lands and civilizations, witnessing the ebb and flow of life in its many forms. From bustling cities to serene villages, from war-torn battlefields to peaceful meadows, they were ever-present, silently observing and waiting for those who would cross the threshold between existence and the great unknown.

One day, as Kindred ventured through a dense forest, their acute senses detected a faint heartbeat amidst the tranquil surroundings.

"Quickly, little Lamb! I smell a new chase!"

They followed the sound, navigating through the ancient trees until they reached a large cave.

There, lying on the stone floor, was a wounded figure. It was a white dragon, its scales shimmering in the dim light filtering through the cave's entrance. The dragon's massive wings were folded against its body, and its breaths came in shallow gasps, tainted with pain. Kindred approached the dragon, Lamb's steps barely making a sound against the cave floor.

"Who are you!?" the dragon lifted its head weakly, its eyes filled with a mix of fear and curiosity.

"We are Kindred," Lamb replied, her voice gentle yet devoid of emotion. "The Lamb and the Wolf, the Eternal Hunters."

Wolf circled around the dragon, its eyes gleaming with anticipation.

"We have come to witness your final moments, Sylvia Indrath. Will you choose to fight or embrace your end?"

The dragon's eyes widened, its wounded body trembling slightly. "I... I see... So, death has come to escort me." Sylvia's voice was filled with resignation and a hint of sorrow. "My only regret is that I was not able to see that child grow into a fine man... I am ready, oh Kindred."

Lamb nodded, her mask glinting in the dim light. "A fine life has reached its conclusion."

A symbol of a yellow sun manifested above Sylvia's head, glowing softly. Seconds later, the symbol was replaced with that of a dark moon before slowly fading away.

Lamb raised her wooden blue bow, an arrow materializing on the string. With a gentle pull and a steady aim, she released the arrow, and it soared through the air, piercing Sylvia's heart.

As the arrow found its mark, Sylvia's body went limp, and her spirit was severed from its earthly vessel. Lamb approached the dragon's body, her presence exuding tranquility. She gently placed a hand on Sylvia's forehead, closing her eyes in a moment of silent reverence. With a faint glow, a yellow flower bloomed at the exact spot where Lamb's hand had touched, a memorial to the life that had passed.

"Our mark is lifted," Lamb whispered, her voice carrying a sense of finality.

"Who's next!?" Wolf's voice echoed with excitement, eager for the next encounter.

"Everyone."

The pair of Kindred departed from the cave, leaving behind the fallen dragon's body and the blooming flower as a testament to their presence.
