Neb: I do not own Beyblade, Beyblade Burst, or any other titles of Beyblade. This is a fanfic staring my own OC Sin Venger. She has evolved Legend Spriggan into a Turbo Blade Halberd Spriggan.
Back at Crystal's backyard the three bladers gathered around her brother's ring.
"It's been a while since we've been back here," Komoto pointed out.
"I wonder if all his parts are still in the shed?", Crystal added.
"My brother closed down his workshop before he left," Sin explained. "I've been grabbing bey parts from his room instead, though I'll have to admit the forge disc and the driver are out of date."
"Then that's what we will focus on," Crystal nodded. "You need all your parts to sync up with each other if you want to win. You have to ask yourself, what is it you want your Halberd Spriggan to do?"
"The rotating forge disc and the sword driver pretty much inspired the upgrades on the Energy Layer," Sin continued. "Still adding more offense and defense can't hurt."
"It can," Komoto interjected. "Listen Sin, the more you lean toward making your bey heavier for offense or defense, the less stamina it's going to have. Your bey is supposed to be the ultimate balance type. Yet you've been leaning more towards an aggressive style with Spriggan's hidden dagger rather than utilizing the rotation feature you added to it."
"So then what do you suggest?", Sin yelled. "I should just start over from scratch?"
"That's not what I'm saying," Komoto sighed. "Think about the people who has beaten you. Think about who they were designing the beys to face off against?"
Sin looked down and thought for a moment. "Well Norman's after Shu, Hyde, I don't know who he's after... Probably Aiger, the champion, and Wasuke wants vengeance on my brother."
"Perfect," Komoto smiled. "What did they do to their beys to answer those bladers?"
"Hyde designed his Hades with a burst prevention system," Sin remembered. "Norman added metal to the outer layer of his Nemisis and Wasuke as we know sharpened his driver also gave his blade a jumping capability. I know why Wasuke did what he did. My brother's Quality Drake had the rotation ring around it in order to ward off enemy attacking beys, so Wasuke responded by building his bey to split it down the middle."
"Hyde wants to beat Aiger and Valt," Crystal added. "They both have turbo beys that have burst prevention systems as well."
"Norman's outer metal layer is probably to prevent Nemesis from breaking again," Komoto finished. "He faced off against Shu in a tournament, back when Shu went by Red Eyes. Shu's Spriggan broke Norman's bey the last time they fought."
"Ok, so they're getting ready to face their rivals," Sin sighed. "What does that have to do with me?"
"What was your upgrades for?", Crystal wondered.
"Were they to fight your brother?", Komoto pressed. "Or were they to take down Wasuke in some way?"
"I didn't have vengeance on my mind when designing Halberd Spriggan," Sin yelled. "I developed it through passion. I combined the gimmicks of my brother and Facia's beys with the weight of Noza's bey. I melted down Quality Drake and Arrow Stag in order to build Halberd Spriggan."
"Then you should evolve your bey again," Komoto figured. "I don't know why, but when we were fighting you were channeling some form of aura. Your resonance grew from rage. I think your next Spriggan should work towards amplifying that power."
"You want me to go nuts again," Sin growled.
"It worked," Komoto waved his arms in defense. "First and foremost, we should train."
"After you equip these to your bey," Crystal offered. She held out a flower like forge disc and a rubber flat driver. "The forge disc is heavier and adds to defense and attack like you originally asked. Not to mention the rubber flat driver has the potential for an awakening. It's the latest model released."
"Add this to the forge disc," Komoto suggested as he held out a red energy ring. "I know it doesn't look like much, but it adds to the attack as well. I suggest you focus more on attack on your next build, that's what your brother did."
"Th-thank you," Sin responded, lost for words. She added the new parts to her bey and then got ready to launch.
"I'll go first," Crystal smiled. "The sooner we wear down the rubber driver, the sooner Spriggan can awaken."
"In the mean time I'll go set up a battle with Wasuke," Komoto nodded. "When your done training her, get your camera's ready Crystal. We'll need to stream if we want to get Hyde, Lui, Norman, or your brother's attention."
"I forgot to tell you," Sin sighed. "I have a scheduled battle with Norman at the start of next month. If I want to follow your pattern, that means I'll have to wait a month before I can battle any of the others that aren't Wasuke."
"Really," Crystal responded. "That's fine, that's actually better."
"Imagine grinding against Domori's old crew and us for a month before you move on to fighting legends," Komoto grinned. "The power your looking for isn't instantaneous."
"I suppose your right," Sin admitted. "Still though, I can't really wait to face them. Imagine making a declaration like mine and then waiting a month to carry it out. I'd need to face other legends during this month or I wont remain relevant."
"I'm sorry but a lot of the Legends are in Spain and America," Komoto sighed. He saw Sin look down defeated already by that. "Look I'll do some research. There might be a few people down here that are at least friends or Rivals with Japan's legends. Just give me a few days. You'll defeat Wasuke and his squad first, then I'll set you up with a real challenge. After that you can face off against Norman Tarver and then Hyde."
"Then Lui and my brother," Sin smiled.
"Are we going to battle or what?" Crystal wondered.
"R-right," Sin responded. "Lets go!"
