Well, here it is, the eleventh part of the fifth and final installment in my 'Heart' series on the right day as promised. Before anything I do want to note that for those who may not understand roman numerals, CC is 200 so this is the 200th Part in the entire Hearts series making it my longest series to date in terms of total published chapters across all works in the main series so thank you to all who's support has made this milestone possible and fitting now that the full battle is over and Ash has defeated Diantha to claim her title but what now? Well there are a few things to sort out with this sudden change and then it's time to celebrate Ash's victory in style before deciding what to do next, after all that isn't just going to fall into their laps, is it? That is all the administrative stuff I have for this Part and as there are no guest reviews to respond to or questions to answer I will leave this off here but do please keep your reviews coming as I love hearing from y'all. That is it for this pre-Part note which means that it is once again time to sit back which and enjoy the latest installment in Heart of Champions. Part CC: Wake of the Challenge.

Part CC: Wake of the Challenge

As the cheers of the crowd washed over Ash it finally hit him that it was over, that he'd won, that he had beaten Diantha in a full battle. The full implications of it would come but for the moment all he could think of was the battle that he'd won and all that had gone into this moment. That was made very clear by Ash-Greninja's transformation falling now that the battle was over before he staggered.

That snapped Ash out of everything and he rushed forward to help out and caught Greninja as he fell to steady his Pokémon as Greninja was clearly at the very end of his ropes. As he did, Pikachu came to, though he'd still need a good long healing session, and sat up to process things though he was still too out of it to move.

"I got you." Ash said as he held his Pokémon and smiled at him. "Thank you Greninja, you did it, you beat Gardevoir and won it in the end. It took all of us, not just the team but the rest of the Pokémon I've befriended and caught over the years, Dawn, our friends, everyone. It all culminated in this final battle and you won it."

"Greninja." Greninja said with a weak croak in his voice but he was smiling despite being barely able to stand because he knew that what Ash was saying was true, it had taken them all to manage this. "Greninja."

"I know, you're beat so take a break, you earned it." Ash said pulling out his Poke Ball and recalling his Pokémon. "You all have and don't worry I'll make sure that you get a good long healing session before we can properly celebrate."

As this was happening Diantha had recovered from her shock of watching Gardevoir fall at the end and was smiling again as she walked out and to her Pokémon. When she reached Gardevoir she crouched down placing a hand on her friend's back as she slowly came to. As she did Gardevoir turned to look up at Diantha sadness in her eyes for losing not just the battle with Greninja but the match as a whole as there was a major implication with losing this.

"Don't be sad Gardevoir, I said that a loss was always possible when we were preparing for this and Ash is really talented after all." Diantha said as she smiled at her Pokémon as she gently rubbed Gardevoir's back to comfort her. "And that was an epic battle to end this on. We finally got a conclusion to what we started months ago and it was a loss. Ash deserves that praise and it's time to show him the honor and respect he earned with this victory."

"Gardevoir." Gardevoir said with a smile at her humans words though her voice was weak. "Gardevoir."

"I know it's sad but we were prepared for this outcome as well as for winning so for now take a break, I'll make sure you get the best treatment to heal up before the inevitable party to celebrate this." Diantha said as she pulled out her Poke Ball and recalled Gardevoir. "I do have my own announcement to make in the wake of this."

At that Diantha got up and walked around the crater and to Ash who was still chatting with Greninja as he supported his Pokémon and the lone remaining Pokémon after the epic battle they'd had. It was time to show how a true Champion lost and ceded her title with grace, Kalos style.

"A celebration is indeed needed, Ash."

Ash had just recalled Greninja when Diantha had reached him having heard what he said after he recalled Greninja and answered it causing him to turned to her. She was smiling at him with no sadness in her eyes. She was genuinely happy that he'd won and was congratulating him, which was the right thing to do.

"It is." Ash said smiling back at Diantha. "Regardless of what happened we would have celebrated. It's been a wild year for me in Kalos and just winning the Lumiose Conference was celebration enough let alone getting here but, well…"

"You just beat the former Champion in a full, official, battle in front of everyone thus claiming her title." Diantha said and she held her hand out to Ash. "So you more than earned all that is coming and the right to celebrate like there's no tomorrow."

"It needs to be properly planned so it will take some time but it will be a good one." Ash said taking Diantha's hand as they shook while the crowd roared at what they were seeing. "And I hope you and the rest of the Elite Four will be there."

"We wouldn't miss it after all this and don't worry about planning, there's some stuff for us to discuss that will really help with it." Diantha said as the handshake ended and she let go of his hand before backing up a few paces and reaching into her blazer as she continued to look at Ash. "But first this is one final thing that I must do, it is what the last Champion did for me when I beat him and now in accordance with Kalos tradition and the honor that is at the core of the Kalos ethos it's my turn to do it for you. Remember this should you be where I am one day, Ash."

Ash was confused at that and that confusion was made more so as Diantha pulled a small microphone out of her blazer and turned it on as she raised it to her lips. She'd had it on her just in case, as well as making sure that just turning it on would connect it to the speaker systems in the stadium, and now it time for her to say what she had to say.

"Attention Kalos!" Diantha called out, her voice ringing out from the stadium's PA system and instantly the crowd went silent as they all looked at her and the cameras made sure to capture this moment. "This match is over and Ash has defeated me. In accordance with the rules of the match that we agreed to by having it, this means that he is now the Champion of Kalos and I accept this result and cede the title to him."

That was true, when Ash had earned this right he could have turned it down but by accepting it and going through with the battle he accepted the consequences of it. There were none for losing, just pride and experience but winning was another matter, winning meant that he automatically became the Champion of Kalos and that that came with that status. Diantha's words were just confirming all that for everyone else though she wasn't done yet and as the crowd processed them she continued.

"Normally this would trigger a round robin tournament to decide which member of the Elite Four steps down as I fall back to their ranks once again." Diantha said. "However, this will not be the case for me because like Wallace when he lost to Steven a few years back, I had already decided that if I lost this challenge I would fully step down and I will. I will not join the Elite Four and thus I leave it as it is for the new Champion."

That shocked everyone and Ash was just as dumbfounded but Diantha was deadly serious, she'd lost to a challenger who'd swept the Elite Four, she didn't feel like she should fall back to their ranks for that but that was only part of her reason. She would explain the other part now but mor that that she wasn't done with what she had to do so once her statement sunk in she spoke into the microphone again.

"I will use this time to focusing more on my acting career without the duties of a Champion but as a former Champion I do retain the right to challenge any member of the Elite Four at any time for his or her spot and I may exercise that right someday." Diantha said as she reached the point she wanted to reach. "That is all that I have to say and now I will make this all official. I, Diantha, former Champion of Kalos do proclaim and acknowledge that the new Champion of Kalos is Ash Ketchum and he earned that right by defeating me in a full battle. In accordance with the noble nature and traditions of Kalos it's time to show this for all to see."

At that Diantha turned her mic off and returned it to her blazer as she met Ash's gaze still smiling. Then, in front of everyone and much to Ash's shock, she fell to one knee and knelt before him her head down and arms on her knee in the way a Kalos native should when such a transition took place.

It was what Aria had done to Lucy when she lost that double battle, what Serena had done to Brianna after losing the Grand Festival to her, and now, as any true blooded native of Kalos who respected their chivalrous nature would do, Diantha knelt to Ash, the new Champion of Kalos. By doing this right after losing it showed to all that there was no doubt in the outcome and Diantha's acceptance of it, she was truly recognizing Ash for what he'd done and all could see that.

The act took a moment to process, Ash wasn't really used to some of the eccentricities of Kalos culture so he was a little embarrassed, but as soon as it was the crowd erupted in cheers at the sign of respect that Diantha was doing. Ash had no idea what to do himself and Pikachu was looking at all this with utter confusion as he was still recovering from the battle but Ash was snapped out of his shock as Diantha got back to her feet still smiling. It was time to celebrate this win as the battle officially came to a conclusion.

"Congratulations Ash!"

The cheer came in the grounds of the countryside chateaux in the area directly south of Lumiose City as Ash and the 6 Pokémon he'd used in his full battle with Diantha walked out of the chateaux's back entrance and down the steps from the patio there to the large field that was part of the sprawling grounds attached to the building. He was being greeted by the gathered attendees for the party to celebrate his win and ascension to Champion of Kalos. That had been a week ago and what a hectic week it had been.

Right after Diantha's display of respect the stadium had cleared but Diantha had asked Ash to remain as there were things to go over that should be done right away as there was a lot to discuss now that he was Champion. Ash agreed but naturally they had to get their Pokémon healed up first before any initial discussions regarding the transition of Champions could take place.

As such, Ash had rushed over to grab Pikachu and carry him as they went to the large Pokémon Center that was in the area around Lumiose Stadium and the satellite stadiums that were used in the preliminary rounds to get their Pokémon all healed up. It also helped that there was a private room there that Nurse Joy allowed them to use as their Pokémon were being tended to which is where Ash and Diantha went while Ash's group headed to the Pokémon Center to wait for them.

They'd wanted to congratulate Ash right away but Professor Sycamore had told them to wait because Ash should be aware of things right away. As such they did, getting to the Pokémon Center just as Ash and Diantha settled into the private room for their discussion.

There Diantha explained the duties that Ash now had to undertake as Champion of Kalos, which there was no need for paperwork to make official as winning the battle was all that was needed to confer the title upon Ash. The importance of this was so that Ash knew what was expected of him right from the start. Naturally Ash listened closely to what those duties were along with what privileges also came with the title.

For the most part they what Ash had expected. He was now recognized as the best trainer in all of Kalos and with that recognition came the responsibility to represent the region in his capacity as its Champion in a good and true manner while sticking to the traditions and ethos of Kalos.

This would be a little different for Ash as he wasn't from Kalos so there was a learning curve but Diantha suggested a trip to the Castle of Chivalry where Wikstrom lived and operated his training facility to learn from his as he truly understood the nature of Kalos. Ash agreed and had taken two days off during the week to go there where he had a long chat with Wikstrom about what it meant to represent Kalos.

That had helped Ash greatly and he was glad he understood more about the cultural ethos of Kalos which he'd need to embody in some ways seeing as for at least the next year he'd be one of the key representatives of the region alongside Professor Sycamore. He fully intended to do just that and live up to that cultural ethos especially because he didn't intend on relinquishing is title anytime soon but for the moment Ash was only guaranteed one year due to the rules surrounding the status of Champion.

He'd heard of this but he did ask Diantha for the precise rules now that he was the Champion, which she obliged. Basically, for the next year he was immune from any challenge to his title from the Elite Four, the only people who could Challenge the Champion during the course of the year, as he'd beaten them all already.

However, once the year ended and the next Lumiose Conference concluded, which as Champion Ash was expected to open and present the trophy for unless something came up that prevented that, and that challenge was over the immunity ended. It could end the same way Ash had done by a sweep and win over him but if that didn't happen it was fair game for the other members of the Elite Four to challenge him from that point on.

Each member of the Elite Four got one challenge per year and the battle had to be a full battle done through official challenges and which would be held in Lumiose Stadium so that people could attend it. Diantha made it clear that Ash should expect at least one per year as while Malva and Siebold were content with just being members of the Elite Four at the moment though it was still undecide what would happen to Malva, both Wikstrom and Drasna had challenged her in the past.

The most recent one had been Wikstrom, so he should expect that a challenge after his immunity ended providing that there wasn't a repeat of what Ash did next year. Ash understood and accepted that, he'd seen Flint's challenge of Cynthia when he was in Sinnoh and he was sure that at least two others had challenged her that year or the year before so he was aware of the practice. Ash didn't mind though; he was ready for that and anything else that was expected of him as Champion.

Really, other than being the representative of the region and getting challenge by the Elite Four from time to time, there wasn't much more he had to do. There'd be requests of him both in Kalos and other regions to do exhibition matches or public events when he was there and he was expected to have a residence in Kalos that he spent part of the year at but other than that he was free to do as he pleased, within reason of course.

That did give Ash pause as to what he and Dawn should do in the coming year given their respective responsibilities. Well it did until Diantha said he had to have a residence here which got his attention.

He'd asked about that and Diantha revealed that one of the privileges of being Champion was that there was a comfortable and large chateaux, the largest residential one in the region in fact, that was built in the classic Kalos style and fashion to the south of Lumiose City that was owned by the Kalos League for the use of the Champion should he or she want it. Diantha had used it for a few years but with her acting career she'd moved out and gotten a more private place that she didn't disclose the location of but for Ash it would be perfect.

As such, the day after his win Diantha and the Chairman of the Kalos Pokémon League took Ash and his gathered entourage to the chateaux for a tour and they were taken aback by it. Diantha wasn't lying when she'd said that it was the largest residential chateaux in Kalos.

The building was massive, larger than the Battle Chateaux with a full set of walls coming out from the front and a drawbridge down to enter the courtyard before the grand entrance. Inside it was complete with a whole suite of rooms and apartments that would accommodate of Ash's friends and then some along with a full host of amenities from a ball room to a theater, to all kinds of training facilities and even classrooms for teaching should that be an option. It really had just about everything that Ash and Dawn would need.

To add to it, it had a large grounds with various terrains from a large lake to a small forest, a cave system and even a special ice area so all his Pokémon could be transferred there as his new central point. As this was his new residence as Champion of Kalos Ash did just that though he kept registrations in Pallet Town and Lumiose City as well.

It was a lot to take in so the day after they'd all moved there they had a small private celebration after Diantha was done with Ash with the bigger one planned for a few days. Thankfully, there was a full time staff paid for by the Pokémon League that helped them out immensely and was an added perk of being Champion.

There was so much to sort out once their group, minus Clemont who had to remain in Lumiose City though he came with them for the preparations and left Clembot in charge of the gym, so they got right to as soon as possible. One of the first things Ash dud was offer to register them all there but only Dawn and Serena took him up on that, Dawn for obvious reasons and Serena because she was native to Kalos and the place had more space than her mother's home, which was also designed for her Rhyhorns more than any other Pokémon, so it made sense.

In that vein, Ash and Dawn had all their Pokémon transferred from Pallet Town to the chateaux so that they could be there for the celebration and remain in one place. There was a debate as to who would look after them once they were transferred here, Ash was willing to offer the place to Professor Sycamore as a new lab, but once the transfer was done the answer came on its own when Tracey and Gary suddenly showed up in Kalos for the celebration.

Gary was currently traveling again doing various researches of certain phenomenon that occurred throughout the world and one such phenomenon was Mega Evolution so he was going to travel in Kalos for a bit. That was kinda to be expected from Gary but it was Tracey's arrival that was the surprise as he asked Ash if he could run the Pokémon there for him, Dawn, and Serena.

Professor Oak had backed up Tracey saying that Ash would need the help as his duties would take him away a fair bit and Tracey had been working for years with him as his assistant and now it was time he took full charge of a place. Ash was stunned but he was more than happy to accept his friend and former traveling companion's assistance and thanked Tracey profusely so the move was sorted out over the week and now Tracey was a permanent resident at the chateaux and had already started working with the Pokémon and Professor Sycamore as he settled in.

Other than that there wasn't much more that was needed beyond the set up for the party as most of Ash's stuff would remain in Pallet Town though Delia had said that she'd be traveling her for holidays from time to time and Ash had made sure his mother had a full apartment of rooms in the chateaux always reserved for her. The same was for all his friends who got set suites of rooms as it was a large place, the Kalos League had said that this was a matter of status, so there was plenty of space for all of them and then some so they invited everyone to the party.

Alas given the time only Tracey and Gary had actually come to Kalos but all of Ash's friends from around the world who couldn't make it sent him congratulations and explained that they'd watched the battle on TV. They were impressed and many were looking forward to seeing him again and challenging a regional Champion. That was fine with Ash, they all had their own journeys to undertake so he understood why they couldn't make it and Ash was eager to see them again to see how much stronger they'd gotten.

Now it was time for the party to celebrate Ash's win with all his Pokémon, along with Dawn's as she'd had them transferred in while the others let their current Pokémon out join the party so Tracey was in charge of them but he was having a great time with it and plenty of the other guests were helping out so it wasn't a hard task. There were still questions as to what the future would hold but for now it was time to party and Ash smiled as he and his Pokémon looked out over the gathered crowd as they made their way to join the party.

It was all of those who'd been able to make his party after winning the Lumiose Conference minus Max and Bonnie as they were still in Galar finishing things up there before traveling with Owen to Kanto. However, there were a few more additions than the last party that increased the size of this one.

Those additions, other than Gary and Tracey, were Alain and his friend Marin, the Kalos Elite Four, all 8 Gym Leaders and not just Clemont and Korrina like before, Diantha, Cynthia and Lance who'd all accepted the invites and were milling around as they enjoyed the party to celebrate the new Champion of Kalos. Siebold even aided with the cooking which was now devolving into a massive cookoff with Brock, Cilan, and Clemont where none of the men wanted to lose as they pit their cooking skills against each other to see who was the best.

All that would come though as Ash walked out and was greeted by them. He was the man of the moment after all and while plenty had congratulated him there were two who hadn't been able to given all that had been going on and they were the first to come up to him so they were given some space, though Dawn went with them and took Ash's hand once she was by his side. That was seen as the official start of the festivities so as they congratulated Ash and had a little chat everyone else mingled and socialized with each other.

"Ash, I'm sorry I couldn't congratulate you right away but as you will soon learn our duties occupy us a fair bit, especially when we just show up in a region unannounced like we did." Lance said he held out his hand upon reaching Ash and Ash shook his home region's Champion's hand. "But now I can, so congratulations on beating Diantha and becoming Kalos Champion."

"Yes, and congratulations on the engagement." Cynthia added with a smile as she too shook his hand right after Lance had, a smile on her face. "I had a feeling that this would happen one day given how strong you were getting."

"I've noticed myself even if it's been years since we last spoke and in that time actually got a girlfriend, well fiancée now." Lance said with a chuckle as he looked to Dawn. "Didn't see that coming. How hard was it miss?"

"Oh I can't take credit for getting past his thick skull." Dawn said with a smile. "That is reserved for Iris, our friend from Unova who traveled with him there. She was the one who managed it after I met her when Cynthia ran into Ash, Iris, and Cilan in Virbank City and she brought them back to her villa in Unova. It was there that Iris realized things and helped me out. Oh and she's also a dragon type specialist so I'm sure she'll want to meet you one day."

"Quite impressive then, I certainly want to see what a girl who could break Ash's density is like but I'd expect a dragon trainer to be able to do it, we do work with strong Pokémon so a little density shouldn't be hard to overcome." Lance said. "And from what Cynthia's told me you're a Top Coordinator from her own region of Sinnoh so quite accomplished in your own right. It's a pleasure to meet you."

"And you." Dawn said with a smile. "And it is good to see you again Cynthia."

"You too Dawn." Cynthia said with a smile at the girl she'd gotten to know well over the years. "We must catch up just us before I return to Sinnoh. I'm going to enjoy a little holiday here, so let's have an ice cream in Lumiose City. Plus, I'm friendly with Diantha and the transition can be a bit jarring when on the other end according to Wallace so I want to aid her though she does seem fine."

"I'd like that." Dawn said as she looked over to where Diantha was currently chatting with the Malva and Wikstrom as she reassured them, again, that she was happy with her decision to step down completely though with Malva's potential prison sentence she might return to the Elite Four if Malva loses her status due to her crimes as part of Team Flare. "It's been a while since we saw you so it will be nice to catch up."

"Not since I was in Kanto and give Ash that egg which turned out to be a Riolu's." Cynthia said with a chuckle as she looked at Ash. "I presume that that Lucario you used against Diantha was that Riolu I saw hatch."

"He was." Ash said, Lucario was currently being praised by Korrina, her grandfather, and her own Lucario, who Ash's actually looked up to, so he was really enjoying it. "Like all my Pokémon he's really shown himself this year."

"That was clear." Lance said. "Your Pokémon were something else in the final though I was surprised you didn't use any dragon types. I hear you have four now though I've only seen your Garchomp and Dragonite, both of which are very impressive by the way."

"Thank you and yes I caught two this year in Noivern and Goodra." Ash said with a nod. "It was hard choosing the team to face Diantha with but I wanted a good range against her and I feel like I managed that with the team I used."

"It was a winning team so I'd say that you certainly showed it." Cynthia said. "I hope to test some of your Pokémon myself now that you're a Champion, Ash."

"Same, so expect a lot of challenges, it comes with being a Champion." Lance said with a grin. "When you travel there will be plenty who want a piece of you."

"I do remember that Cynthia had an exhibition match against one of the Unova Elite Four and I know from my own experience that Champions are often challenged when recognized." Ash said. "But I'm more than ready for it. I may not know what is next but the chance to have many more battles is something I can't pass up on."

"I presume both of you have had your fair share since coming to Kalos." Dawn said looking at the two other Champions. "Or at least have some planned for the coming days."

"Drasna and I will have a full dragon type exhibition battle next week to show off the power of our specialty and because it's rare for the top two dragon type specialists to be in the same place at the same time so we can't pass this up." Lance said as he noted that Lucy was now in a deep discussion with Drasna and clearly challenging her to a battle. "Once that challenge is over though. It seems that Brock's fiancée loves a good battle."

"I'm shocked that he's engaged, I didn't see that one coming at all, but she seems like a good person." Cynthia said. "She's already challenged me as well. I've accepted of course, a good one on one battle will be nice and she does seem strong. I've also gotten a fair few challenges from the gym leaders here. As I'm sticking around for about a month there's plenty of time for that though Diantha and I are going to have a proper exhibition match at the end of it for all to see."

"That will be good to watch." Ash said. "It looks like a lot will be happening in the coming days then. I know that Alain and his friend Marin are heading out to Kanto with Misty and Miette soon, Brock and Lucy will go to Sinnoh when they're done here as Brock's working in Oreburgh this year, Serena's heading to Unova, and Cilan is staying here while May is undecided I think so soon we'll all be splitting up once again. It's nice to have this moment now."

"You earned it Ash." Dawn said with a smile at him and the other two Champions nodded at that.

Ash smiled back as he took a second to survey the party. He'd make his rounds in a moment so that he talked to everyone present but right now things were looking good and he was enjoying his catchup with Cynthia and Lance. Around him the rest of the attendees were enjoying themselves as they chatted and forged new friendships while the four men tried to outdo each other cooking.

It was a good scene and Ash was enjoying it though he kept coming back to the burning question of what was next for him. He'd done it, he'd become a regional Champion and he knew that he'd honor his duty with this but what should he and Dawn do now? Sure they would travel when they could as they still had to see Alola, Galar, and Paldea while also returning to Sinnoh and Kanto, but what else?

What could they do now that they'd both achieved their dreams? Well, that answer was about to unexpectedly come as there was an announcement form the chateaux manager and head butler for the estate that got the attention of everyone present.

"Champion Ash, I am sorry to interrupt your festivities but there are two important men here who wish to talk to not just you but to everyone present as they have business with many of you." The manager said and they all looked to him and blinked as he was flanked by, of all people, Charles Goodshow and Raoul Contesta, well one of the Mr. Contests Dawn and May presumed, both as they stood at the top of the steps leading down to the grounds of the chateaux. "I present to you the President of the Pokémon League, Charles Goodshow, and the Director of Pokémon Contests for the Kalos Region, Raoul Contesta."

"I am sorry for barging in again like this, Ash." Charles said as he and Mr. Contesta walked down the steps to stand in front of them. "But this is really the best time, for me at least, as there are currently 3 Champions, one former Champion, the entire Kalos Elite Four, 10 active Gym Leaders, a former Gym Leader, and a Kanto Frontier Brain present so this is really a great time for this for me to do this before the official announcement."

"Likewise there are two Top Coordinators and two up and coming Coordinators present so this works well for me as well." Mr. Contesta said though Dawn and May were certain that this wasn't the main one, just one of his relatives who was in charge of Kalos as that was how he'd been introduced. "My uncle will be making the formal announcement in Hoenn in the coming days as he's the Head Director of Pokémon Contests, but when Charles showed up yesterday I figured that I could tell the Top Coordinators present, along with the two Coordinators as this applies to you two as well, about the plans."

"Wait, I've heard rumors about this." May said her eyes wide. "Is it true?"

"Patience." Mr. Contesta said. "There has been confusion over this so I want to clear it up but Charles will go first as his is relevant to more people present."

"Yes, the formal announcement will be made in a few days' time by me and Rose, the Chairman of the Galar League, in Galar." Charles said. "But given who's in Kalos right now, along with Ash's recent win over Diantha, we figured that this was the best time to officially tell three of the Champions what is about to happen."

"Ah I think Leon mentioned this to me when I was last in Galar." Lance said. "So it's finally happening I take it."

"It is, it's taken years to plan but at long last we are ready for it." Charles said. "Plus this works well as there is also what the Pokémon Contest Committee has been planning so together we will announce our plans for the coming year as this is long overdue."

"What is?" Ash asked and Charles smiled at him before he said what would the remaining questions that Ash had had since beating Diantha.

"Why finding out who's the best of the best of course."

Ah a nice little cliffhanger to tease you with as I end this Part and set up the next one which will officially be the last in the intro arc and the second of the two Part transition with the revelation of what the story of Champions will be now that Ash has properly concluded his Kalos journey with the ultimate achievement. I know that I probably could have attached the opening bit to the end of last Part but it would have made it 21k long and felt unnecessary after that battle which I felt had to be the focal point of that Part so I started this one off with it as Ash adapts to being Champion, which as you can see I've taken a fair but of liberties with but there is so little about it that I kinda have to. There is of course some teased for potential Supplements when I get around to that (still too busy to get to it but I will in time) so if there are things you want to see in that let me know and I'll see what I can do. Other than that there really isn't much to say, this Part has done its job well and set things up for what is next and as such I will leave it off here. As always if you like my work then please favorite (both this story and me in general to be notified of any new content I post), if possible leave a review as I really like hearing what you think of my work and your suggestions that help complete this story (and respond as best I can) and just in general keep enjoying my work. Until next time.
