Levi had a bad feeling. Something in his gut was telling him something was off the moment this fire fight started and honestly he had been ignoring it, until now. If it were an annoying bug then, it was now a fucking swarm of bees. He couldn't just ignore the feeling he was getting. Not anymore.
"What's the plan?" Luke asks, crouched down beside him behind the couch. "Like you said earlier, we can't just sit here, right?"
Levi nods. "Yea. But actually moving from here is the hard part. I'm still trying to figure out how the fuck it's going to happen without anyone getting shot." He narrows his eyes and adds bitterly. "And the fucking time restraint is making shit worse. The more time we sit, the more trouble we're in."
"If we're pinned already then we should just fight. We've got our weapons. We should be able to take out some of those fuckers." Kenny tries to get to his feet but fails horribly and groans, wanting to claw at his shot leg.
"Don't Kenny. You're in no condition to fight." Sarita says and then turns her attention to Levi. "You said you were a soldier, right? Can't you—I don't know... figure out something to get us out? What else can that machine do?"
Levi wants to get angry but knows it won't solve anything. He's the leader and the most experienced in combat. He's the only one who can lead these people out alive.
I've gotta risk it! Levi thinks, looking at the people he promised to protect. Even if I promised to keep them safe!
Levi looks at Sarita and she is surprised by the intensity of his eyes. "I have a plan. All you have to do is wait for my signal and hit that corner as soon as you hear it. Got it?"
"What do you plan on doing?" Luke asks.
"Just do as I say!" Levi yells and turns to push himself against the couch. He squeezes his gas triggers and it shoots out a gas powerful enough that it pushes the couch to the middle of the room. Gunfire immediately lights up the couch and Levi nearly falls behind from the moving couch when a bullet pierces his stomach.
Despite the pain, he pushes forward and gives the couch one more powerful push as it slams through the glass door, hitting the shooter behind it. He guessed where the shooter is and slams his blade through the couch, feeling the body behind it spasm and then stop.
He was dead. Levi was sure of it. And now, they finally had leeway outside, to escape that certain death inside. Levi lands on the ground, holding his stomach that aches. He can still stand, still fight. But he was bleeding. His eyes dart around him to check his surroundings briefly. He didn't trust them enough to put something over the wound that would stop the bleeding. The old bandages were far too loosened to hold the blood seeping from the wound.
It'll only become a problem if I move around too much.
With a grimace, the captain went back into the house, getting behind a wall not too far from where his group was and relatively safe from any windows.
"Luke!" He calls. "We've got a way out over here. We've got the sound of that damned thing outside to cover us. You have to move the group."
Luke had barely heard the orders, looking at the blood that stained a large part of Levi's white shirt. "My god, Levi. Look at all that blood are you-"
"Get moving!" He grits. "This is no time for standing around! We're nearly surrounded!"
Hearing the conversation, the entire group had turned and saw the state Levi was in. All of their wills wavered. If their most experienced could get hurt, how would they fair if they moved from the small corner they were tucked in? It wasn't much, but they were safe.
"If you come out of the front quietly with no weapons on you, no one will die!" A voice yells over the sound of the whirling windmill. Levi doesn't think a normal voice could get so high, but doesn't have time to ponder. "Just surrender! Walkers are about to come inside there! Do you really want to die! Ask yourselves this and make a decision!"
Levi hears glass shatter and turns to where it had come from. He saw some type of gun? Surrounded by broken glass.
"A megaphone?" Alvin questions.
Holding his stomach still, Levi pulls out his gun and walks over to the megaphone. He's uncontested and picks it up before tossing it over to Luke as he once again ducks back behind cover.
"What is it?" Levi asks. He knows that they might know more than him.
"It's a megaphone." Luke sends him a quizzical look. "Just where are you from, man?"
Levi ignores him and holds out his free had, having sheathe both his blade and put away his gun. "It's how he made those loud announcements, right? Give it here."
Luke throws it back and Levi briefly looks at it in curiosity. It looked like a gun, so that meant that it had to work like one as well. He presses the button on it and then speaks.
"Hey, Carver! Go fuck yourself!" He yells. He throws the damned thing to the ground and smashes it to pieces with a swift stomp. He wasn't about to surrender. Not to someone as cowardly as Carver.
Before any of the others could show shock of what he just did and disagree, with the exception of Luke and Kenny, Walkers smash through several opening of the cabin almost simultaneously. As the groans and moan of the dead reach his ears, Levi realizes that maybe he didn't make the right decision.
He pulls both his swords out, ignoring his pained stomach.
But would he regret that decision?
He rushes forward with a surge of gas.
Hell no!

"What, girly? Cat got your tongue?"
That grin scares her and she backs away slowly, stopping when she bumps into Rebecca behind her.
"W-who are you?"
"A lil' ole me? Just a killer. Ah, but you've got spunk in your eyes kid, I like that. Let's see what you can do." He aims his gun, his smirk growing.
Her eyes widen and adrenaline kicks in. She turns quickly and pushes into Rebecca. The gun flies out of her hand as they tumble down the stairs just as a bullet fired out, hitting into the wall above them. She groans in pain, taking the brunt of the pain from Rebecca and lifts her head to see her gun all the way back where the entrance was.
A gargling groan reaches her ears and she turns but is too late as a Walker jumps atop her. She pushes it away with her hand, saving herself from getting bit.
"Clementine!" Rebecca yells.
"M-my hammer!" She strains out, desperately fighting for her life as the dead man gets more powerful and claws at her.
Rebecca tries to get to her feet, spotting the hammer in a corner not too far away. She could reach it. She had to. Her stomach throbbed in pain and her body tensed up as she forced herself to the hammer.
"Clementine, here!" With all her remaining strength she throws it to her.
The hammer lands with a hard thud near her head. She makes a grab for it but the deadman pushes her hand away and goes for a bite. She stops it by holding her feet to its chest, pushing it away desperately. Mustering her strength, she smashes the hammer across its face and it falls over. She rushes over it before it can get up and keeps on hitting it until it stops moving.
She stops suddenly as a shot hits the ground in front of her, tearing through the wooden floorboard like nothing.
"That's enough there, girly. Drop the hammer and get on 'er knees."
"Do what he says, Clementine." Rebecca's looking at her with her hands up, slowly getting down to her knees.
Clementine relents and throws away the hammer. The man above them grins when she gives in and fear courses through her.
"Good girls. Tie them up."

Levi drops another batch of walkers, keeping the group covered. But he heard that shot. It sounded familiar, and he didn't think it would've came from the gun he gave to Clementine.
Bullets light up the darkened room and Levi leaps to the ground in time to avoid a shot to his head. Ye hears the sound of leaking gas and looks down to see one of his gas cylinders had been hit. ODM was useless now. The spray of bullets died down and he leapt again, this time falling behind a wooden pillar.
'How many of them are out there?' He wonders.
"How about we stop all this."
That voice... it was familiar. Levi gathers himself and peaks from behind the pillar, only for his eyes to widen in shock.
Kenny. He was holding a gun to Clementine's head. Another soldier pushed Rebecca onto her knees, a gun also to the back of her head.
"You come out quietly and we don't have to kill two children. We're adults now. Living in this world, we ought protect that future, eh? I want you all to come out, nice and slow. Any quick ideas of glory and these two get permanent face piercings."
Alvin was the first to get up, slowly raising his hands and letting his gun drop the floor. After that, everyone else did the same, until they all were unarmed with their arms raised.
Kenny smirked. "Anymore hiding over there? Don't get your friends killed trying to hide."
"Levi!" Alvin looked directly at him. "Please. I won't risk it."
Levi snapped out of the spell he was in. They were finished. It was nothing he could do now.
"Wait, Levi? What'd you say, boy?" Turning to the pillar, Kenny raised his gun up to it. "You heard what he said. Come on out. Now."
This was the second time he'd been cornered by his uncle. He dropped all his weapons and slowly came around the pillar to the muted shock of Kenny.
Levi smirked. "Who would've thought we'd meet again, Kenny."

It wasn't long before they were tied up and taken away, being held in the back of some type of vehicle. Levi had been silent mostly, his mind mulling over the fact that not only had he come back to life, but his uncle as well. Did that go for everyone who died? Were they alive somewhere too? Erwin? Farlan and Isabel? His mother?
So many more possibilities. He wished he knew the answer already. The truck jumped violently from a rock on the road, breaking him out of thought. The ride to Carver's was a silent one. No one had spoken and nearly everyone had broke off into section of the inside of the truck where they could have some room. The only ones grouped up were Sarita and Kenny, Carlos and Sarah, and Alvin and Rebecca. Not surprising, to say the least.
He was left alone, just as he liked it. The others seemed content with just sending looks his way. He was content on letting them. If they weren't going to say anything, then he wasn't going to press the issue.
He doesn't react when Clementine gets up and walks over to sit beside him. The look on her face shows that's she's been thinking, and still is. There's something she wants to say, so Levi will wait to see what it is.
It's quiet, but only for a small bit. "I'm sorry."
Levi expected something along those lines. "You're sorry? What for? You did well."
She was totally off guard from his response. "B-but I got caught. And that got us all caught."
"I put you in a situation where you had to succeed. You're a child. Perhaps I expected too much."
She couldn't help but think that that was true.
"But, against him, there was nothing you could've done. And I won't blame you for it. I'll never blame you for something like that."
A smile broke across her face. Every part of her had been expecting him to be disappointed or even mad. She was relieved to see otherwise.
"Um, can I ask you something?"
"Yea, what?"
"That man... when he saw you he freaked out. I was just wondering if you knew each other."
Levi was looking at Clementine but could feel all eyes on him. Seemed she wasn't the only one curious.
"Yea, we know each other. He's my Uncle."
Everyone in the truck reacted, having not expecting the two to have familial relations. When the shock died, Rebecca was looking at his, desperation clawing at her features.
"If he's your uncle, are we ok?"
The question gave Levi pause. Were they ok? He might've helped Levi before his death, but Kenny was a hard man to follow.
"Do you want to know what they called him back at home? Kenny the Ripper. We never were that close. I can't tell you if he will help us or not, but what I can tell you is that he's dangerous. More dangerous than me. You do what he says, or you will die."
"Fuck," Kenny yelled. "I share a name with a goddamned serial killer."
"Kenny this is not the time." Sarita warned. "You're a soldier, Levi. How could he be more dangerous than you?"
Levi's next words puts fear in them all. "Because he taught me everything I know."
That thought made all their stomach's drop.
