Stargate Korr 10

Dr. Daniel Jackson looked at Maybourne, who had an ill-concealed smile on his face.

"Colonel Maybourne, I think an intelligence agency, whose primary function is to maintain security, should be more concerned about the fact that our mainframe was hacked so easily," said General Hammond in a diplomatic tone.

They were in General Hammond's briefing room, in a meeting of his team, Maybourne and General Hammond, prompted by the leak of information about a mission to be carried out.

As the preparations were completed and the reports were entered into the files, the main computer sent them a mission report under the now familiar heading "Report from an Ally." The report contained detailed information about the planet they would be visiting, including the technology they would encounter, which was at least a century ahead of their own.

Unfortunately, the inhabitants of the planet had suffered from a plague of bugs and had all died or fled. At the end of the report, they warned that the bugs were still swarming the planet and posed a biohazard. In addition, their allies offered to provide them with a biological weapon to decimate the bug population in a few days, which would allow them to reclaim the planet and all its technology. This technology was unlike that of the Goa'uld; it could be more easily adapted to theirs, in just a few months of research.

In terms of defense against the Goa'uld, this technology was not significant, but in terms of the technological development of the planet, entrepreneurs and private companies would like to have access to these technologies, which required few adjustments to be used.

Despite this, this report represented a blatant violation of their base security and that is why they were having this meeting. Their allies could have sent their report as normal, but this was a warning and a way of telling them that their security was still deficient.

"General Hammond, we are doing everything we can to find out the point of infiltration. However, this is advanced technology and we must also keep in mind that this was done by an ally, who so far has not caused us any harm.

"Perhaps we should consider that, despite being a very busy person, as his creations always tell us, he takes the trouble to point out our flaws and offer his help when he deems it necessary," Maybourne excused himself.

Daniel suspected that Maybourne was doing nothing to stop this security intrusion, since every time something like this happened, the NID benefited. Now they had obtained a whole planet, and Maybourne was still smiling, so much so that he seemed to be under the effects of some drug.

"Maybourne, did you know that taking bribes to ignore your job is considered treason?" Jack asked.

"Jack, my work is as efficient as ever. In fact, I have already notified the president of this matter and he has given the order to accept the offer. So you should be doing your own work and capturing one of those bugs to take a sample, and have our allies create that weapon for us," said Maybourne, and General Hammond looked at him disapprovingly.

Maybourne had evaded the question and had also stepped over General Hammond's authority. Besides, there was the matter that their allies would not risk it, and to get a sample, they were sending them.

Even though they possessed highly advanced technology that would allow them to do it themselves, they insisted that they be the ones to collect the insect sample. Of course, they could not complain about this, since they would take the profits in the end.

"Maybourne, I must remind you that this base is under my command and that you cannot plan missions on your own," General Hammond chided.

"General Hammond, as I told you when I came to this place, I'm just an observer with no real authority. I'm just here to make reports.

"It was the president who has overstepped his authority and made plans. As you may know, the Stargate project has yielded incredible results in all areas, and this has led to the involvement of more people who make life easier for all personnel by contributing resources and expediting any paperwork," Maybourne explained, telling them in a subtle way, that the president was being pressured for more benefits by those who were not yet getting a cut.

Daniel knew that the intelligence agencies and the military were already elated with all the technology they had obtained, giving them a thousand-year head start over their foreign competitors. Now, however, private companies had also joined the project and were demanding their own profits.

Daniel shook his head internally. They were now trying to create blueprints to build their own ships, because their allies had not forbidden them to study the two ha'tak they had upgraded for them, along with the bombers, cargo ships and death gliders.

"Weren't we talking about a security leak?" Daniel asked. Besides, what they're building is a biological weapon. Don't you think it's possible that something could go wrong and we could end up wiping ourselves off the face of the planet because we're dealing with things we don't know about?" he added.

"Relax, Dr. Jackson, we are taking all the necessary safety precautions," said Maybourne.

"I think I heard that same line in a movie just yesterday about an apocalyptic disaster," Jack commented. Maybourne shrugged.

"I'm not qualified to comment on fantasy works, nor do I have time to watch movies," Maybourne replied.

General Hammond shook his head and ended the meeting to contact the president and give him his report.

A few hours later, they were ordered to visit the planet and capture an insect to start their allies' plan.

Daniel was grateful to 00 and 03, who had helped him get his wife back, and would also take care of the baby Share was expecting, which according to Teal'c, would be a human Goa'uld. But he did not like that they knew nothing of these allies.

A week later, Maybourne's plan had not doomed them all, and now the infected planet was free, and there were entire scientific teams studying its technology.

The government had already dealt with the companies, who could research it, but could not reveal anything until the Stargate project was revealed. For the time being, this technology would only have a military application, to aid in the construction of ships to deal with the Goa'uld threat.

Their government did not want to tell the country that, at any moment, an alien fleet could arrive on Earth to kill them all and they still had nothing to defend themselves. That would be a disaster.

Now, their allies had shown up again, and this time in person. General Hammon sent them into his briefing room, where his staff was, and as usual when his allies were present, Maybourne was omnipresent.

"They received a message through the portal, attached with an arrow from Trinium," said 03, and it was not a question. General Hammon sighed helplessly.

"Yes, their security is still very bad, we barely tried, so keep working," said 00 with a faint smile.

"This message is not a threat, we have already read the report, the inhabitants of the planet are tribes without modern technology" explained Daniel who had already read the report about this incident, and did not want the natives to be taken as an enemy.

"His reports are wrong, because there are two species inhabiting this planet. These humans are protected by the original inhabitants of this world, whose technology allows them to confront the Goa'uld. If they do not conduct these negotiations properly, disaster will befall them, because this species is not pacifist and if they decide to be aggressive, they will not hesitate to erase this base from this world," 03 explained, and Daniel's heart skipped several beats. That was a great danger.

"Sir, I recommend we go get our people and delete that address from our computer," Jack advised.

"Sir, I don't think we should do that," said Sam, overtaking Maybourne, who didn't have to say anything this time.

Jack, who was expecting a retort from Maybourne, looked at Sam.

"Sir, we need trinium, and on this planet it runs free in the rivers. And if our allies are here, it's because we can still at least negotiate for this safely," Sam said.

"Carter, let's not lose our heads over a little iron, we'll get that metal somewhere else," said Jack, and General Hammond nodded.

"That's a pity, because these people are really humble, and they don't give importance to their mineral resources, so our Creator was willing to lend them our technology to extract up to ten times the amount of Trinium they would get on their own," said 00 with a neutral tone.

Daniel only had to look at Maybourne, whose eyes were glittering with greed, to know that soon the President would again be giving them orders to ignore the danger and dive in headlong.

A month after his allies ignored his plea for help when an ancient database was accidentally downloaded into Jack's head, and he had to procure his own help, contacting the Asgard, the main computer had another report, this time warning them that an SG10 mission was headed for a black hole.

SG10 took a week's vacation due to their close encounter with death, but Sam was delighted with the report and passed it on to her fellow scientists. Soon, the SGC was filled with scientists who would leave for another planet to send a probe and pull as much data as possible from this event.

According to Sam, the chance to study a black hole up close was something no physicist had ever had the opportunity to do in his life.

A few weeks later, their allies again ignored them when they encountered badly wounded Apophis and brought him to Earth. Apophis wanted refuge, but did not find the deal the NID proposed, which consisted of surrendering all his knowledge in exchange for a lifetime of confinement in a dark cell, to be reasonable.

Daniel didn't think it was adequate either, and understood that Apophis preferred to die. His corpse was handed over to Sokar, because Sokar used a particle weapon against the Stargate, which the iris could not resist. According to Maybourne, his allies did not consider Earth to be in any danger. The Tok'ra were of the same opinion.

Daniel did not have a good opinion of his allies until a few days ago, when he became involved with an old man named Marcello on one of his missions through the Stargate. This old man was part of a people made extinct by the Goa'uld, and was captured by them, tortured and then rescued by the last of his people.

When they found him, the old man was already tired of his struggle and only wanted to live a quiet life, but his body could not take any more. It was there where 00 and 03 intervened, using their technology to create a body for the old man and giving him back his youth, so that he could spend the rest of his days on Earth, being his decision if one day he decided to help them in their fight against the Goa'uld, and warning the NID to leave him alone if they did not want to break their alliance.

Daniel still didn't completely trust his unknown allies, but by their actions they had shown him that they were morally and ethically grounded, and that was important to him. He no longer complained about the reports appearing on the main computer and took it as a matter of course, even though the NID and Maybourne were still hovering around, as if they were technology vultures.

Korr grimaced as he finished reading Dr. Daniel Jackson's reports and comments.

In reality, what was happening was because Korr needed Earth to lead the rest of the galaxy on a path of order and he was using the USA. As an example to follow for all those countries that wanted to obtain advanced technology.

His greatest achievement with Earth's progress would soon be seen, as a month ago he kidnapped a group of guerrilla and terrorist leaders on the African continent and infected them with bionanites, turning them into his puppets. With them he was creating his own city-building game on the African continent.

His goal was to put an end to wars, racial, religious and economic conflicts, as well as social divisions. To oversee all this, he sent 04, who liked this kind of civilian project.

As for the resources needed for a social project involving an entire continent, they were derisory due to Earth's low technological level. They did not use naquadah, only iron, copper and other metals that the replicators obtained by the ton in the asteroid fields or in the same deposits of the continent, where companies would be founded to extract them, which in turn would generate sources of employment for a stable economy.

All this was because, as he foresaw, the U.S. government wanted to wait and was unwilling to release the technology he had helped them get, so he needed to put pressure on them so they would not feel safe and would rush forward, no longer hiding things.

If the United States rested on its laurels and prioritized making profits over improving its economy, living conditions or technological advancement, the entire African continent would overtake them in just a couple of years. And if the current powers did not care about their administrative order, they would soon be forgotten.

Korr would not bet all his cards on a single country. In fact, the entire African continent was a mess of wars and conflicts, and that was the ideal place to build something from scratch, because the people were more willing to accept oppressive laws in exchange for progress and social security….

Korr frowned because there were a lot of reports coming in, along with some hate messages from some of his Goa'uld neighbors who were system overlords, accusing him of being a treacherous snake, a thief and someone without any honor. Korr grimaced after grimace, wondering what the hell was going on.

Korr had been playing video games while reading the reports from Earth, but he had to stop and transport to his throne. There 05 and 06 were waiting for him.

"What's going on?" Korr asked.

"Emperor, we are receiving a significant number of migrants to the various worlds that have sworn vassalage and to the territories of our Goa'uld servants. The migration started several hours ago and has not stopped since, so we set out to use the satellites and find out what is going on.

"After an hour, we have learned that the tok'ra have been doing some months of free propaganda to us and promoting the Emperor's territory to the Goa'uld slaves, who have done some rebellions and taken over the stargate to mark our planets.

"But this only represents a small percentage of the migrants, the vast majority come led by lesser Goa'uld overlords who have betrayed their overlords and brought their slaves with them to offer their services in exchange for a "superior" host and their own planet to rule, with all the benefits given to other lesser Goa'uld, especially the tree of life, which cures all the diseases and ailments of their servants, as well as the enhancements to the Jaffa," 05 reported.

Korr was stunned and understood why the other system lords were accusing him of being a crawling snake and stealing from them.

Korr also knew who was behind all this chaos, because the tok'ra was only a minion to her. The culprit was Egeria; she wanted to force him to stop slacking off and get to work as a slave to complete her plans for freedom.

Of course, this migration would not last long; the system lords would not just insult him, they would set about protecting the Stargates of their worlds and making sure their Goa'uld vassals did not continue to betray them. But this would also be beneficial to Egeria, because the Goa'uld overlords would need to use more resources to counter his plans, leaving them twice as vulnerable as before and with a reduced capacity for war.

"That woman is the devil," Korr thought in his mind. "I should have put her in the cargo hold when I had the chance."

He, like the rest of the Goa'uld overlords, would be busy doing administrative work in the coming days thanks to Egeria.

Korr cursed inwardly, in another month there would be the publicity launch of Shaiya, the game he himself was in charge of producing and developing; he had no time to work….

"Chief, these emigrants go around saying that they are free men and that they can leave at any time. We should also take into account that there are a lot of sick people among them. I think they intend to shamelessly take advantage of our social benefits and then leave without rendering any service," explained 06.

"Yes, that woman is the devil himself," thought Korr. He had said that anyone could leave his territory and that he had no slaves. Since it was his word from god, if he backed out, he would earn the enmity of his Jaffa troops, who would see him as someone without a word and would not trust him.

Korr knew that he could not afford to lose the trust of the Jaffa, because rebellious movements were being created in other territories and he did not want it to happen in his own.

On the other hand, his losses would not be great, as the human servants were only engaged in land cultivation and food production. His empire had no industrial production, because all the construction technology and so on was provided by him.

That didn't mean it didn't affect him, because the paperwork of so many people coming in and out would be enormous. It was also more workload for the upgraded replicators, of which there were only six, because 01 was still asleep. Korr racked his brain in thought, he couldn't break his word, but he couldn't fall for Egeria's plans to force him to work and stop slacking off… Korr smiled.

"We need an AI to take over the administration of the human worlds, enforcing laws and regulations. Also, while it is true that anyone can leave my territory, I never said I would allow anyone to profit from it.

"Those who want to use the social benefits of my territory must have a citizen's ID, of at least one year's residence. If they don't have it, as soon as they use any benefits, they will have to stay for at least one year," Korr ordered.

The Jaffa would not accept him going back on his words, but they were also practical, and if someone wanted to take advantage of their god's words so brazenly, they would be willing to be the first to beat them up.

"Emperor, that will save us a lot of hassle and I think we can also get at least fifty percent of the people to visit us, but an administrative system to take care of so many people, planets and administration of industries and trade will take at least a week to set up and a few more to test and tweak," said 05.

"Egeria, I'd better not see your round ass in my territory again," thought Korr.

A month later, Korr was taking a deep breath to forget about the last month of hard labor thanks to the kindness of Egeria, whom he declared persona non grata in his empire.

He had already reprimanded her by refusing to give her hosts so that she would understand who was in a superior position for a possible alliance, but she had ignored him completely.

Korr had had to deal with over five million immigrants, which meant he needed new planets. There were also the lesser Goa'uld overlords and their Jaffa. He, had to take care of everything, along with the enhanced replicators that were free 02, 05 and 06, since 00, 03 and 04, were on Earth watching that all was well over there and helping in the advancement and pacification of the African continent. 01 was still in the suspended animation hold.

In addition to organizing planets, Korr built cities, procured food, increased the production of machinery and oversaw its delivery to the new human planets, and helped with the creation of the administrative system that would see to the laws and new registrations of immigrants and newcomers to the empire. At the end of each day, Korr was exhausted; he had never worked so hard in his entire life.

But that was it, Korr had already left all his work commitments, and now he was about to have some fun because the publicity launch for the game he had created was for today.

Korr was transported to his computer room, sitting on his traditionally designed gamer throne, while a holographic screen unfolded in front of him, connecting to Earth's Internet through his telepathic network of satellites and to a press conference he had arranged through his employees and lawyers for the presentation of his favorite childhood game.

This game was special to him because it was the first MMORPG he had the opportunity to play. It wasn't about the game being good or unmatched; this was pure nostalgia, as it was something from his childhood and he was especially fond of it.

When Korr logged on, the conference had already started, but not the presentation of the game, as the invited journalists were more interested in the computer used to show the game, a beast compared to its current competitors: twenty terabytes of internal memory, sixty-eight cores, one hundred and twenty-eight gigabytes of video, sixty-four of RAM and a thirty-six inch screen in 8k….

It was a brutality for the Earth, and all the guests kept harassing the model hired for the presentation, asking her where they had bought such a beast. The model excused herself by saying that it was the work of the company that needed development hardware. In fact, Korr had made it.

After half an hour of questions about the computer, a giant screen played an introductory video of the game, which lasted ten minutes, where Shaiya's game was presented with the improvements made by Korr in terms of graphics and gameplay, which had changed for later versions more fluid and less cumbersome, along with mechanics added in the latest versions that he remembered.

At the end of the video, the guests looked somewhat disappointed, but Korr knew this would happen and had linked this part to the next, which was to show the model through the first steps of the game, such as creating an account, creating her character, choosing her race, gender, appearance and class.

After creating the account and when it was the turn to enter the game and create the character, the whole audience was shocked for several seconds and then started to scream and clap when they realized that what they saw in the presentation of the game were not promotional videos of the characters and their classes, but real gameplays of each character. The graphics they were used to were polygonal, and seeing graphics that looked like high-budget animated 3D movies left them open-mouthed.

Korr had taken graphics to another level; not even AAA games from his old life in 2022 looked this good, and considering it was 1999, this was something never imagined by any gamer. The presentation of the characters ended. The huge amount of options in terms of character appearance made the fans applaud. Something that was common in MMORPGs of the future did not exist at this time.

The model started playing a copy that had bot, playing players to give her a realistic view of what the game looked like. The original Shaiya was a small game, created for a few hundred people playing on a server; it was not a game to host crowds. But the Shaiya that Korr had created had a map a thousand times larger, individual dungeons so people wouldn't crowd in, realistic cities, NPCs with outstanding artificial intelligence who participated in the game and had a daily routine, their own homes and jobs.

This did not mean that he had created a realistic version of the game, because it was the same game with monsters appearing out of nowhere, characters that moved contradicting the laws of physics, magic and spectacular combat, and everything else. Korr didn't want to make his favorite game realistic; he just wanted to improve it in the graphics, game space and game mechanics that were seen in its last updates, not including the new maps and levels that he planned to update every year.

Korr watched the reaction of the crazed crowd as the model showed the first steps of the character and did the beginner quests to figure out how to level up by killing monsters and completing quests, which would explain the game mechanics and all the things Korr had added, like an alchemy branch for all the pay-to-win items, like resurrection runes, healing concoctions, critical hit concoctions, and other pay-to-win stuff.

Shaiya had always been a pay-to-win game, but Korr wanted everyone to play this game and have a chance to advance and be competitive, so he increased the armor and weapon drop, reduced the boss time and nerfed those who were too brutal, just so players would spend money to defeat them and get armor and weapons. Those who wanted to arm themselves faster would have the opportunity to pay other players for it, because trading was a vital part of the game, but they wouldn't be the only ones who could arm themselves, since this game was funded by him and didn't need donations.

Another thing that bothered him about the original Shaiya was the bugs, crashes and the cronyism of the programmers and admins, who did illegal things for their friends within the game, like linking items that couldn't be linked and other traps that gave overwhelming power to some players just because they were friends with the GMs.

Korr had designed AI that would take over the functions of a GM. He had also added a section against thieves and scammers, giving them harsh punishments within the game itself….

A report came in interrupting his rest, but this was a report he had expected, and it was the arrival of one of his probes to a Goa'uld world with a volcanic moon, which was Sokar's current base.

Sokar was far away from him in the ancient territories of Apophis, but Korr was interested in it because this was a goa'uld that appeared in the original story, and had already made its appearance a month ago, but as he was busy with the trouble Egeria caused him, he was not looking forward to that report.

It wasn't that it was too important either, but he couldn't ignore it because Sokar was a conqueror, just like Anubis. He did not follow the rules and killed indiscriminately to get his army, so lesser lords suffered death and were stripped of their ships, which became Sokar's domain.

This caused him to amass forces and resources at great speed, and as he himself had introduced the naquadriah, he wanted to see if there was any variation in the information he knew of the future, so he sent a satellite to his territory.

This satellite had already arrived and started transmitting the psychic signal to his satellite network. Fortunately for him, Sokar had a known address, as he had conquered his home world, and Korr, as system lord, already knew this information.

Korr reviewed Sokar's current fleet surrounding the planet. This was his personal fleet, and barely a year and a half or so after learning of Ra's death, he already had a fleet of nearly thirty ha'tak in his personal force. As always, stealing was more profitable than working, and Sokar, like him, was a thief, albeit one with rather violent methods.

Unlike him or Anubis, Sokar's target was on the Goa'uld themselves. He was a thief of few ambitions, nothing compared to Anubis, who created a master plan to trick an ascended one, ascend and obtain his knowledge. Then, obtaining dealings with the ascended to let him interfere with mortals, he pursued ancient technology, enhancing the weapons, hyperdrive and shields of Goa'uld ships with them. He also discovered some relics.

Sokar did not seem interested in these things, and despite having used an ingenious weapon against Earth, what he was interested in was Goa'uld technology and system overlords.

Korr scanned their ships and was a little surprised that they had power sources made of naquadriah. They were barely getting ten percent of the naquadriah's potential, but they were very stable, and at that level, they would already outperform a common ha'tak by about seven times in speed. Weapon strength would increase a bit, but the shields were still Goa'uld shields and they were very bad.

His own ha'tak with one hundred percent efficiency in their power source could barely hold up against three common ha'tak. Sokar's, at most, could take on one and come out on top, but the speed advantage was something that could not be ignored, for this guy was using it to steal more ships and conquer more worlds, and the system lord forces were in trouble because they had been scratching their balls and, seeing that the naquadriah was difficult to stabilize, seemed in no hurry to investigate it.

Korr grimaced; if he didn't get this situation under control, this was going to get out of hand, and Sokar would become a game changer. Sokar, unlike the system lords, was a militarist and loved to amass armies. He would not stop at stealing, and now the speed of his ships would put the system lords neighboring his territories in check. The most affected would be Herur-ur, who was his enemy. Also Apophis, but that one he had already captured, and since he didn't have much to steal from him, it wasn't important.

Korr thought about what to do. Thanks to Egeria, he was only getting hate messages from the other system overlords, and he didn't want to waste time listening to their complaints. That senile old man Yu was also someone who objected to creeping tactics like the ones Egeria had used on his behalf, and he would surely start nagging without pause, making him waste hours of his valuable time on a matter that should only take minutes.

No, he couldn't call the system overlords; this required a subtle, traditional tactic. Korr made a couple of calls, and a few seconds later, a couple of his Goa'uld overlords were answering.

One was a man of Middle Eastern features with clear eyes, and the other, a black man with the body of a statue.

"Nerul, Mot, I am sending you information about an enhancement to the ha'tak of the system lords, based on the naquadriah. Contact as many of the Goa'uld as you can and tell them it was stolen from me. Never mind trading it for a kilo of naquadah, I want every goa'uld with a ha'tak to get this information, starting with Herur-ur," Korr ordered.

Mot and Nerul blinked once, but did not hesitate for more than a second.

"My lord, it shall be done!" they both said, and Korr nodded, closing the communication. This would slow Sokar's advance and bring things back into balance, so he went back to his own projects….

Korr was interrupted by another alarm, which was a call from 00. Korr received it.

"Creator, I have identified a threat," said 00.

"Explain yourself," Korr ordered.

"A month ago, a creature infiltrated the SGC, so we were monitoring it for its intentions. Now it has brought an ambassador to the site, and says that some radicals of its species are preparing to carry out terrorist acts on human planets in order to eliminate them, so that the Goa'uld will no longer have hosts. This species calls themselves Reetou, and they appear to be an insectoid species.

"The threat they pose is that, naturally, their bodies adopt a kind of phase shift that, in addition to making them invisible to human eyes or to most species in this galaxy, also gives them some immunity to projectile weapons. That could make it easier for them to infiltrate between our defenses, especially they follow our troops when using the portal.

"That is why I have contacted you, as at this moment, SGC command is hailing us and requesting assistance. Should we intervene?" 00 asked.

Korr frowned. He remembered this species; SG1 had taken care of them, they weren't really evil, there were just extremists among their ranks, which wasn't surprising, considering the system overlords bombarded their planet and nearly wiped them out.

The technology of these guys wasn't very advanced, but it was at the level of being able to cause major disasters and completely destroy their cities if something went wrong. Korr didn't want to take any chances.

"00, respond and take care of this matter personally. Those who are a threat, send them to the cargo hold. The rest is in your hands. Take 03 as backup and order the portals in our territory closed until this situation is resolved," Korr ordered.

"That will be done," said 00 and closed the communication, thinking about how he should handle this matter.

00 called 03, who together with her was always in charge of the situation with the humans. There was also 04, whom the Creator had assigned to Earth to build an empire in the territory known as the African continent, but he was just a miserable bum and 00 did not trust him. If this menace caused any damage in the Creator's territory, the blame would fall on her; this was not something to be taken lightly.

Ten minutes after the SGC command called, 00 and 03 showed up on the scene. Waiting for them in the gate room were General Hammond and SG1, who informed them that they were expecting other allies, so they would have to wait a little longer.

Ten minutes later, a middle-aged man with a half bald head stepped through the portal. 00 squinted at the sight of him.

"Do they know each other?" 00 nodded, as this man was a tok'ra and they had been declared personae non gratae by the Creator throughout their territory. The tok'ra also eyed her warily.

In truth, they were not enemies, and the queen of these tok'ra should have already told them of their Creator's plans for Earth, which was why they were watching the place.

"Our current leader has informed us of them," said the tok'ra using the voice of goa'uld, as he took control of his host.

"The Creator has no problem with them either," said 00.

The Creator wanted to use the tok'ra as his tool, to be one of the powers to keep order when the goa'uld fell, but these tok'ra had the same plan for him, so the alliance could not come to fruition, and now they were on their own.

Their Creator planned to give them suitable hosts, but that too was interrupted by the actions of their queen, and the tok'ra had to keep looking for hosts, as was the case with this human in front of her, who belonged to this planet and became a host because he suffered from a genetic disease that would doom him to death, so the tok'ra were his salvation.

"Good to know that, now please join us, I believe we have uninvited guests, to be confirmed," said General Hammond.

The tok'ra and she nodded, being taken to a room in the infirmary, where they were attending to a child with severe genetic problems and there was the individual of the reetou species, which was why 00 was there. She was to get information about this threat and eliminate it.

"Can you see me?" asked the creature, which looked like some kind of six-legged spider, with a torso similar to a male human of slender build with a six-eyed head. 00 nodded, because she had already studied its language as well.

The tok'ra, who was showing some agitation at the presence of the species, and the members of Stargate Command looked at her, but 00 ignored them because she had a serious mission on her hands.

"You said earlier that a group of your people were planning to attack human worlds. Many worlds under my care have large human populations, so they pose a danger to us. Tell me where they are and as a reward, I will give you a planet where no Goa'uld will bother you or yours, so they can return to their lives in peace," 00 offered.

00 could enter his mind and download the information he sought, but his Creator's laws were strict and that was only allowed with criminals and extreme situations. If this individual refused to negotiate, risking the safety of the Creator's empire, then he would proceed to make a move on him.

"Who are you?" asked the reetou.

"An ally who can provide security. If you want to know more, come with me, I will show you some of our planets," said 00.

"That is acceptable," said the reetou and went over to talk to the boy, who began to cry when his creator told him she would be leaving.

"Farewells are not necessary, you can take him with you to your new planet, in case they accept our deal," 00 offered. She would not be happy either if someone tried to separate her from the Creator.

"He is a human, he would not be comfortable with our species, and because of our physiognomy and way of life, he is also very different. Besides, he won't live much longer either, so it is better that he spends his last moments with his own kind," said the reetou with regret.

The boy understood all his words but showed no alarm.

"I understand," said 00, and approached the boy to touch his forehead and introduce a load of bionanites.

"He will be fine in an hour, we will take him to our Creator's palace, there are many children there for him to play with, and he will also be able to visit his new planet," said 00, and both the boy and the reetou seemed happy. 00 smiled and transported the three of them to the portal room.

Samantha Carter blinked as she watched 00 disappear.

"She's very good at ignoring people," said Daniel to 03, who was more sociable and was still there. 03 smiled.

"00 takes our God's missions very seriously, and this species could pose a danger to the worlds that make up our territory, as there are millions of humans on them," 03 explained. They had met three of these allies, and each of them called their leader differently.

There was a woman with long black hair whom they only looked at once, who called him Father.

"I think that's good? And when can we talk to their leader?" Colonel O'Neill asked.

"You can refer to him as Emperor, and he only attends to the affairs of his servants in person, he doesn't deal with foreign affairs, that's our job. The Emperor is a very busy person," said 03. His father rolled his eyes, and Colonel O'Neill looked at him.

"They have the power to deal with the Goa'uld and they don't," Selmak said disapprovingly. Then his father regained control and grimaced.

"Actually, if they did, the weight of the galaxy would be on their shoulders, and this emperor and his people see no benefit in that," said his father with a sigh. 03 nodded.

"The tok'ra don't seem to understand this point, and have recently caused trouble for our god," 03 said earnestly.

There seemed to have been a bit of an impasse between them and the tok'ra.

"I have already advised our new leader on the matter, and we will wait," said her father.

"I will inform my god of this, perhaps he will be willing to pay to keep the peace. Your current leader has caused you some headaches, and I'm sure he would appreciate having some peace, and not worrying about your interference in our territory," said 03. Then he looked at them.

"We'll see you another time," said 03.

"Thank you for your help," said General Hammond, and 03 nodded and disappeared in a flash.

"Well?" Colonel O'Neill raised an eyebrow.

"These people rule a very powerful empire, and are the greatest current power in the galaxy, but their leader does not want anything to disturb their peace, and they are not interested in a war against the Goa'uld. However, they also consider Earth a very important place to them, so they will always be on the lookout for you.

"They could give you the technology to deal with the Goa'uld, but this could also be a danger to Earth in Selmak's opinion," said her father.

Samantha felt somewhat uncomfortable, because in fact, their allies had already given them a lot of technology, including two fully equipped ha'tak with four al'kesh bombers, three tel'tak and twenty-four death gliders, all far superior to the Goa'uld ships.

All these gifts were free, and they could research as much as they wanted about these ships and their improvements, and they even came with an instruction manual, telling them what they could and could not do in their research to avoid accidents.

They had already been researching these ships for almost a year, and they already had a construction plan for them, because they had also been given supercomputers to design them, with which they were able to create plans.

Now they had also had access to a planet whose technology was about a hundred years more advanced than theirs, and they were adapting it to create their own model of ships with a smaller size, because the Ha'tak Goa'uld class was a huge waste of resources, and they didn't have hundreds of worlds like the Goa'uld to mine them from.

On the other hand, the NID had stolen their own portal and made a few raids in the last month, which brought them another ha'tak that their allies upgraded, their own refinery and….

Her father stared at her and Samantha tensed. He knew her well and already knew she was hiding something.

"Jacop, these are Earth matters," General Hammond hastened to interject. His father grimaced.

"Just don't get involved in anything dangerous," her father said, looking at her with concern. Samantha nodded, "Well, as long as I'm here, we should go out and get something to eat," her father suggested and looked at General Hammond.

"Go ahead," said General Hammond, granting her permission to leave the base.

Samantha assumed he would try to get information out of her, but with Maybourne around, and without her even knowing if the waiter who would be serving them was one of his agents, she wouldn't risk saying anything.
