(After the battle with Galaxia)
Usagi appeared in the sky all by herself. "Everyone, I hung in there… But I'm lonely… I'm not that strong. I'm alone, everyone," she said with such sadness and loneliness in her voice.
"You're not alone," she heard Rei's voice say.
At just that moment, all of the Sailor Guardians appeared all around Usagi.
Usagi looks around in shock and happiness. "Everyone!"
"You're not alone," Rei said again, this time with insistency..
"Everyone is around you," Ami said gently and reassuringly.
"Rei. Ami," Usagi said happily when she turned to look at them.
"We believed…" Minako started with love for her best friend.
"...that you could do it, Usagi," Makoto said, finishing Minako's sentence.
Usagi turned to look at Minako and Makoto and her eyes started to fill with tears. "Minako! Makoto! Is this a dream?" she asked.
Haruka smiled at Usagi's question and broke their heart at the same time. "It's not a dream," they said.
Usagi turned toward Haruka and Michiru.
Haruka smiled at Usagi. "You saved this world…" they started with such a gentle touch to their words.
"…with your belief!" Michiru, who was always gentle and intelligent, finished.
"Haruka! Michiru," Usagi said.
"Thank you, Usagi," Hotaru said with a smile on her face. She held her glaive upright as there was no danger and no reason to restart the universe.
Usagi looks over at Hotaru and Setsuna and turns toward them.
"You did really well!" Setsuna said, still keeping a hold of her rod.
"Hotaru! Setsuna! Everyone! I'm so happy!" Usagi said excitedly.
However, the Sailor Guardians knew who she wanted to see most, and that one person hadn't appeared. They didn't know since it had been so long if he was able to come back too.
"Usako…" Usagi heard a male voice and knew exactly who the voice belonged to. There was only one person in the world who called her Usako. Only one person would ever call her by that nickname. Only one person was ever allowed to call her that.
Then she heard a little girl's voice say "Chibi…"
Usagi straightened when she heard those two voices and gasped. She turned around with all the hope in her eyes could possess.
At just that moment, Mamoru appeared holding Sailor Chibi Chibi Moon in his arms. "This little girl guided me to you, Usako," he told her. When he first awoke, he panicked a bit because he knew he died, but he knew it had to be because of Usagi and that was why he was so panicked. He needed to get to her. That was when Chibi-Chibi had appeared before him along with four others, and he sensed he could trust her. He didn't know if it was because of the fact she looked so much like Chibi-Usa or because they trusted her to get to Usagi. She let him hold her, and she was able to guide them to who they were looking for. When he finally saw Usagi, his Usako, his world righted itself. It felt like it was the first real breath he had in a very long time.
The tears that had been threatening to spill had finally started to fall down from Usagi's eyes. Everyone around her knew they were tears of joy. Everyone and everything is okay in her world. "Mamo-chan," she said with all the love and joy in her voice.
Mamoru softens and gives her all the words and encouragement. He was so proud of her. "You did great, Usako," he told her. He braced for the oncoming excitement knowing the love of his life.
"Mamo-chan!" Usagi screamed out, flew into his arms, and clung to him.
Mamoru soaked in all of her love and heartache and provided her with all of his love and warmth she needed. "Usako," he said and also looked toward the Inner Sailor Guardians making sure Usagi was staying in his arms and not dropping Chibi-Chibi in the process. "I am not the only one she guided back here."
"What do you mean?" Ami asked, looking around and had her visor down already in analyzing mode and hoping it wasn't the enemy or another enemy.
Mamoru didn't answer her and gave the Inner Sailor Guardians a knowing smile. He closed his eyes as Kunzite, Zoisite, Nephrite, and Jadeite appeared one by one keeping Mamoru in the center much like how the Sailor Guardians tended to do with Usagi.
Minako, Ami, Makoto, and Rei just stared at the men, the Prince's Knights, their loves, in disbelief. None of them weren't sure what they were feeling or how to act or if this was all a trick.
Rei kept her eyes on Jadeite. "It can't be…" The words stayed stuck in her throat. Her hands went to her throat.
Jadeite just smiled at her, and said, "Mars." He hadn't expected to be back quite like this. He was the first one that Chibi-Chibi had found. He didn't understand how someone so small could be a Sailor Guardian, but the fact she was one made him believe he could trust her. He remembered once Mars had told him once everything happens for a reason and trust what's been given.
Ami covered her mouth, but was able to manage, "How is…" Ami couldn't quite finish the question and couldn't tear her eyes away from Zoisite.
Zoisite knew she was trying to analyze this situation as it was so like her. "Mercury." He gave her a small shy smile. He was the second one Chibi-Chibi had found. He had been relieved to see Jadeite. He hadn't understood how this little girl and Jadeite could have found him. He knew Sailor Guardians had mysterious powers, and so he didn't argue that point. He remembered that's what Mercury had told him so long ago. Sometimes there was no way around it or explain it away.
Makoto continued to stare at Nephrite. "It's like a dream," she said as she laid her hands against her heart.
Nephrite smiled at her. "Jupiter." He was the third one Chibi-Chibi had found and was confused why a small Sailor Guardian would be with two of his fellow knights, and he had asked them where the Prince and Princess were. They had told him exactly what happened, and he remembered what Jupiter had said. He could almost hear her saying it now beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Having this chance is surely a beautiful thing.
Kunzite looked over at Minako, concerned. She hadn't said a word, didn't show any emotion, and he knew that was very unlike her. "Venus?" He was the fourth knight Chibi-Chibi found. He had awoken before she had gotten to him. His first thought was Prince Endymion, followed by Princess Serenity, and then finally Venus, the love of his life. When the three Knight's had gotten to him, he knew instinctively the little girl that had brought them to him would be able to locate the Prince, the Princess, and the love of his life. Venus had once told him with a little bit of love you can get anything. He had a lot of love for his Master, his Master's love, and his own love, and he knew that she could get him to where he needed to be.
Minako kind of snapped out of it when Kunzite called out her name, and knowing in the back of her mind, because she's leader of the Inner Sailor Guardians, she should be the one to check this out. She went over to Kunzite and laid her hand on his cheek. She didn't know why she was surprised to find it warm and alive. "It's not a dream," Minako said as her eyes went wide with shock. "You are real."
Kunzite smiled at her and let out a little chuckle over her reaction. "Venus," he said softly, laying his strong, warm hand against her hand that was laying on his face. He took in the feeling of her touch and used her touch to calm his own nerves. "Of course, I'm real."
Minako's eyes start to fill with tears. "Oh, Kunzite."
Kunzite placed his other hand on her hip, brought her to him to kiss her gently on her lips, and then it quickly grew with passion. He would have let it continue, but he remembered they had an audience in front of them, broke off the kiss, and they smiled at each other. "There's the one I love. The one I fell in love with. The one that broke down my guard and got past my defenses like it was child's play." He wrapped his arms around her waist when he felt her arms go around his neck. "I'm never leaving you again," he whispered into her ear. He closed his eyes and let himself feel her against him, never wanting to let her go.
Minako let herself be held by him. She had forgotten how good it felt to be in his arms. He held her tight against him, but she didn't mind. She didn't know who needed it more, her or him.
Ami, Rei, and Makoto took Minako's cue and went to their loved one. They had similar situations, but the question Ami was having issues asking finally came out. "How was this possible?" Ami asked. She looked up at Zoisite and looked around at the rest of the Sailor Guardians and the other Prince's Knights. "I understand about the Sailor Guardians, but what about you four?"
Usagi smiled up at Mamoru, and then looked over at the Inner Sailor Guardians and his Knights. "It's a miracle," Usagi insisted.
"Yes," Mamoru said, agreeing with Usagi, "but their starseeds…" He looked over at Zoisite to see if he understood what he was asking. He wanted to make sure he was on the right track.
Zoisite nodded. "You had our starseeds with you in your jacket pocket, Master, during your fight with Galaxia," he answered, "and when…" He trailed off because even he couldn't say it which made him squeezed Ami around her waist a bit for comfort (which she had answered when she moved in to comfort him by placing her arms around his neck and he felt a sense of calm wash over him and definitely felt like he doused himself in water and repented), and if he did or could say it, he knew he would upset the Princess and his own love would be angry at him because he had upsetted the Princess which was not something he was willing to do. "We went into the cauldron with you as well."
"And we were never far away," Nephrite said. He forgot Makoto was nearly as tall as he which was something, but unlike the other Inner Guardians (and especially the Princess), she wouldn't have to stand toes to kiss him nor would she struggle to wrap her hands around his neck. "We couldn't protect you, Master, but we were close." Nephrite continued to stroke Makoto's back like it was second nature.
"We never thought if Galaxia was defeated we would be resurrected," Kunzite said. "Either way…"
"It is a miracle," Jadeite finished repeating Usagi's words. "We thought the same thing." He kept his arms around Rei and moved a strand over her ear that had fallen loose over her face. "We didn't think we would be resurrected." He lifted Rei's face to look at her. He saw such passion in her eyes and remembered why he fell so hard for her in the Silver Millennium. Like centuries ago, her fire melted his ice; he could never be cold to her how he could with others. He knew he would never intentionally quell her fire, her passion.
Ami looked up at Zoisite who still had his arms wrapped around her, smiled when his eyes softened toward her, and then moved slightly to gaze over at Usagi and Mamoru. "Only you would've been able to defeat Galaxia and release everyone from the caldron, Usagi. You've given all of us another chance and another chance at love," Ami said.
When Usagi had shivered at the memory and the thought of being alone, Mamoru knew what thought had scared her most of all and just held on to her. Though he believed he needed to hold her more than she needed to be held. "Don't worry. It's all over," he promised her.
Usagi was comforted by both his arm around her and the promise he made. "Yes," she said softly.
"Chibi-Chibi! Thank you," Chibi-Chibi said and then flew into the sky to guide the other Guardians home.
Usagi looked up at Mamoru who still had his arm around her, but she also very much had paid attention to where Chibi-Chibi went and felt him slip his other arm around her. "Thank you, Chibi-Chibi," Usagi said.
Down below on the ground, Seiya, Yaten, and Taiki stood and watched the scene unfold from above. "The Light of Hope is now in everyone's mind, isn't it?" Yaten asked.
Seiya was relieved when the Sailor Guardians, Mamoru (he recognized him from the picture Usagi had on her nightstand, by the way she had clung to him, and the way he continued to hold her) holding Chibi-Chibi (saw that she flew into the sky), and the other men he didn't recognize (he knew they had to be allies because of the way Minako, Ami, Rei, and Mako had acted and clinging to them much the same way Usagi was clinging to Mamoru) appeared around Usagi and next to Mamoru. "It's what she told us."
Taiki smiled. "And also about believing," she said with faith.
"The angel has come down to Earth, hasn't she?" they heard a female's voice say as Princess Kakyuu appeared in front of them.
They had torn their gaze away from the wondrous and miraculous scene in the sky to stare at their own princess. "Princess!" the Stars shouted with excitement.
Yaten stared at her with love in her heart. "It's a miracle," she said.
"Truly wonderful!" Seiya agreed.
Taiki, with tears in her eyes, had simply said, "Welcome back."
Kakyuu looked at her Stars with love. "Yes."
Seiya turned his gaze at the sky. He could see that the Sailor Guardians and the men had circled around Usagi and Mamoru. iThank you, everyone./i
