Chapter 7: Daily Life of a Clown!

"Okay, you know what you must do right." A woman asks the person in front of her.

POP!

Popper nods his head and with determined eyes, he just knew what he must do.

"Alrighty I'll go first and get them ready." The lady enters a room and closes the door.

This is it. The time has come to do what he had to do. There was nothing stopping this plan. The morning started off fine. Woke up, ate breakfast, took a shower, and soon got a job offer that he just couldn't refuse. Finding the place was easy, a big building at the center of Vale with many people entering and leaving. The moment the people saw him enter, they knew why he was there for. Now it was a matter of waiting for his cue to enter and start his job.

KNOCK KNOCK!

That was the cue.

It's showtime.

KNOCK! KNOCK!

Popper soon opens the door and inside he hears them.

"Okay, kids just like he promised. Give it up for Popper the clown!"

Popper really loves this job.

"Thank you so much for doing this today. The children love seeing you come to the hospital."

POP!

With a simple nod and a happy smile, Popper assured the nurse working here that it was no problem.

'It's no problem, I did promise to come when I have the chance to.' Popper signs at the nurse.

"We know but you did say that you might not be able to attend some of these for a few weeks. Was everything okay?"

'Yea, I had something in mind at the time. However, that has changed so now I have free time in the mornings.'

It's true. His original plan was to make it into Beacon and see the schedule that they gave him, just to see if he can balance it off with school and work, also visiting his pops when he had extra time. But now that was all out the window.

Lucky for him, his pops is not a morning person. Mainly because of his line of work always taking place at night. So that gives him enough of the day to just do whatever he wants.

However, there was one person he should be worried about.

"By the way how is your sister? Is she still out of Vale?"

'She is doing alright, we still text every day so she mostly doing her own thing. Hey, I need to go I got another appointment at twelve so take care and I'll see you next week.' Popper signs at the nurse wanting to leave before she begins talking about his family.

"Oh okay take care! We will see you next week."

With a simple wave goodbye and a single POP! Popper leaves the hospital. Once outside he has a sigh of relief. Sure he loves doing this for them, but they really need to stop asking about his personal life.

Pulling out his scroll, He checks the next scheduled meeting that he has to do. A Birthday party.

...

...

...

He hopes that its a kid under ten or else this was going to be a long day today.

For the most part, Popper believes that the Residential district of Vale is the most peaceful place in Vale. The reason is that there were bearly any shops with Dust or any banks around here. Almost everything you need was at the commercial district, sure it is a good walk away but to keep these families safe it was the only logical thing to do.

The people here are nice, however, there was always those who like to cause trouble for everyone.

"Hey, Clown do us a little trick!"

"Yea, or are you one of those sad clowns?! HAHAHA!"

Just ignore them Popper they are just a bunch of wasted individuals that-

He felt something hit his back and turn to see it was a bottle of beer that was now broken on impact.

Looking back at the people who threw it, he soon pulls out his scroll to check the time.

'Yea, I got time.'

Walking toward the group. Popper knew that this was just another way of helping the community become a safe place for them to live in.

"Thank you so much for this. The children really enjoy your performance." A Mother said thanking Popper.

"Yes, today was our little girl's birthday. We were happy that we saw your flyer at Vale." A father now began to talk.

With a simple wave, Popper assured that it was no problem at all.

"Will you be okay walking home? I heard that some of the neighborhood gang was beaten up near the alley not far from here." The mother told Popper.

Popper just nods his head. knowing to well that they will not be a problem for him.

"Mom Dad is the nice man gone yet?" A little girl enters the room and saw her parents talking with the Popper.

"Sara we were just about to head back. We are just saying goodbye to the nice young man here."

Soon the little girl stepped forward "Thank you for coming to my party today."

Popper just nod and took a knee in front of the girl, once on her level he wave at her to come close.

Reaching into the right side of his jacket Popper soon pulled out a small present for the girl.

"For me?" The girl asked.

POP!

With a simple nod, he handed the present to the girl.

Once in her hand, she opened it and pulled out a small doll.

"Thank you so much." The girl said and gave Popper a hug.

Soon she let go and went back to her party.

"Thank you for that. How much will that-"

The father was soon cut off when Popper just raise his hand and wave it.

Popper soon pulled out a card and handed it to the father.

'On the house for birthdays.'

"Are you sure?"

POP!

With a simple nod, Popper starts to leave the house. Waving goodbye to the parents.

Once outside their home, he turn back to see the house he just left.

Popper smile soon drop once he saw the house. To grow up in a nice house and be loved by a family like the little girl has. Popper wishes that he had a normal life like that as well.

Turning away from the house and looking at the sky. The sun is starting to set and the night was soon about to hit him. His father should soon wake up and their job was about to begin.

Sigh...pop.

The walk home was always what he dreaded.

"Johnny, where have you been?"

Jonny just simply pointed at the door indicating he was out.

"Okay, smart ass. Get over here we are about to discuss the plans today."

As Jonny began to walk toward his pops, he soon started to see the people around him. People in hoods and masks surround his pops. Looking at them now he was for sure that they were White Fang. He wonder what type of people his pops started to work with.

"Good were all here. So let's begin. We are going to continue stealing Dust. Our new employer has made it perfectly clear that she needs all the Dust she can get her hands on. So now we are her little guinea pigs. No offense." He looks at some of the people around him.

"So why exactly are we here?" One of the group members asked.

"I'm glad you ask. You see I earlier try to do this little heist with of group of bodyguards how ever they were easily dealt with by a child. So who better else than the White Fang itself? Here hoping you animals will do a better job than the others."

The moment Pops said animals you can hear the group start to growl at the comment.

"Easy there. You are also in the same group as me when it comes to knowing who's really in charge here. So keep it to yourself."

"So what's the plan then?"

"I'm glad you asked." His Pops began to walk around a table that he was at, toward a map of Vale.

"We are going to cause a little Chaos. And with the help of those two everything will go according to plan." His Pops points in the direction of him and the person behind him. He knew she was behind him; she always is. Turning around he saw his sister just smile at him.

Johnny really hates this job.
