Growing Pains
Chapter 25: Danny Phantom vs The Bridezilla
Danny had just been blasted into the Ghost Zone against his will, something he wishes he can do to his enemies on his own right now.
"I really hope that's a power I've unlocked that I didn't know I have yet..."He muttered, rubbing the back of his head.
Getting up, Danny found, to his displeasure, that he was in the Ghost Zone and the portal was already gone.
"Great, as if things aren't troublesome enough. I'm here..."He groaned loudly.
"Don't worry about it, Pumpkin. Everything is as it should be..."Helena said as she floated closer, staring at the half ghost man with a smitten look on her face.
Danny glared daggers at the ghost who put him through so much trouble in the last few days. However, he noticed that while he was indeed in the Ghost Zone but outside a building he had never seen before.
A church.
"It's not Sunday, is it?..." Danny asked, getting a bad feeling about this.
"No..." Helena said, appearing before him. "It's our wedding day!..." She gushed, looking creepily like a lovesick school girl right now.
Danny glared at her, getting back on his feet.
"Don't you get what consent is, Lady?..."He shouted.
"Yeah, I consent to having you as my groom..."Helena said, smiling in a deranged way.
"Not what I meant..."Danny said, angry.
"You can't stop us from getting married! It's fate!..."Helena said, hands clasped together.
"No, it's not!..."Danny shouted, eyes flashing bright green in rage.
He was ready to show just how much stronger he is compared from their first encounter with one another. He was also going to make his message clear that he wasn't going to get married to this crazy hag and if anything, he'd turn this wedding into a trip to the hospital.
"One, I'm not interest in dating, much less marrying a crazy psychopathic wanna-be bride like you! Even IF I was, I'm STILL a minor on the inside! I'm 14 years old for Pete's sake!..."Danny said, trying to get her to see reason.
Helena scoffed playfully.
"But you are an adult right now physically and marrying ages and relationships in the Ghost Zone are different for ghosts than they are in the human realm. Besides, I've waited too long to care..."Helena said, ignoring his facts.
"She's so old and desperate that she doesn't care how old I am?! Seriously?!..."Danny thought in disbelief.
The ghost boy-turned-man couldn't believe what he was hearing and wanted to talk her out of it.
"Seriously, aren't I wrong for you?!..."Danny shouted, gesturing to himself.
"I see nothing wrong with you. You're handsome and powerful. What else could I girl ask for?..."Helena said with a shrug.
The ghost boy rolled his eyes. He once again spelled out his reasons for rejecting her offer of marriage.
"You kept saying that you want a rich stud who would treat you like a queen and spend all of his money for you. I don't even have a job and just a few days ago, I was in high school gym class! I don't even have a diploma, let alone a resumé! Not to mention, that I don't even remotely like you, so there's no way I'm treating you like anything other than an enemy!..."Danny pointed it.
She ignored his words and brought her own reason for him to reconsider.
"With your good looks, you can easily find a job anywhere and those powers would work well. Plus, you are handsome enough to make up for the rest of my criteria. Also, I'm sure that you'll learn to cherish me eventually..."Helena said rather plainly, making do with what she found.
Danny felt his blood boil, having grown sick of her to the point of wishing he could blast her immediately.
"You forgot one thing..."He said, while the wanna be bride smiled at him.
"What's that, Cutie Pie?..."Helena asked, looking playful.
"I don't love you! And I NEVER will!..."He shouted, rejecting her.
Helena frowned.
"You'll learn soon enough that I'm not good with dealing with rejection! It's one of my very few flaws in my nearly spotless record of perfection that I'm trying to get handle on. Just not today!..."Helena said, as she snapped her fingers.
"Oh, what are you gonna do? Break down into a dance or-..."Danny was then cut off.
That's when, to his shock, a piercing screech was heard.
"SCHRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEECCCCCCCCCCHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!..."Was heard.
"Ugh!..."Danny yelped as he covered his ears.
He then ducked to avoid giant doves that had white ribbons hanging from their talons. The doves then landed behind Helena, who petted them lovingly.
The ghostly man scoffed.
"Those are some big birds, a little too big..." Danny said. "Are you a bird tamer or something?..."He joked.
"We're in my domain, Honey. Here, those birdies are mine to command! And they are my sweet little babies. Aren't you two?.."She stated, as she petted them with affection.
"So, instead of a crazy cat lady, she's a crazy bird lady. Noted..."Danny said, while Helena sent him a sinister look.
"They also do EVERYTHING their mommy tells them to!..."Helena said, before turning to her pets.
"Harmony and Serenity! Go get your new daddy!..."She ordered, while the ghostly bird monsters screeched again and got in attack mode.
Seeing how huge they are, Danny pulled back.
"AAAHHH!..." He saw the birds then do a lovely twirl in the air. "Oooohhhh..." He went in amazement slightly before they resumed their path to him.
"AAAHHHH!..." He went once more.
Danny found himself under the talon of one of the doves, keeping him in place so he doesn't phase out.
"Hey!..."Danny shouted, as Helena thought that she had him trapped now.
"If you agree to marry me... I'll call them off..." Helena said, listing off her conditions.
Danny glared at her.
"I'd rather be banished to wherever Kitty tried to send me!..."He shouted as he punched the ghostly dove to let go.
"Plus, I'm starting to like her more than you..."He stated.
Helena was surprised before smiling. She was upset that he hit one of her pets, but she was also impressed by his strength too.
"Wow, you really are strong. Our kiddies are gonna have a fine daddy..."Helena said, looking smitten.
Danny was grossed out.
"Yeah, no! So NOT happening!..."He shouted.
"Haven't you figured it out, Darryl? You're mine now, forever!..." Helena said, smiling madly.
"It's Danny!..." Danny shouted, as he fired at her.
"It won't matter when I-..." Helena was cut off when one sudden fist her face.
Danny chuckled after see his handiwork from his attack.
"That's a good look on you..."He said before he crossed his arms to complete the mockery.
"You dare strike me, a beautiful bride to be?!..."Helena shouted, seething after that punch from the new ghost hunk.
"I can confidently say that I'm not the only one who thinks that you deserve that one..." Danny said, as he rolled his shoulder to ready himself for another attack.
"You have a lot of nerve to strike a woman but I'll just have to change that attitude when we wed..."Helena said before she recalled her doves.
"Hey, crazy lady! Read my lips...I am NOT marrying you! I'm going back to my real and and then I'm getting out of here!..." Danny stated flatly as he prepared himself.
"No, you won't! I won't let you get away from me!..."Helena shouted as she charged at him.
Soon, a battle began and Danny continued to fight off the evil wanna be bride who refused to be denied what she wants.
Meanwhile
Sam, Jazz and Tucker grabbed the Boo-merang, tossed it and soon followed it into the ghost zone. Danny's sister looked around and was amazed by what she saw.
"Wow... it's even more amazing than Mom and Dad kept thinking it was..."Jazz said as she admired the realm.
"Focus Jazz! Danny needs us to get away from that bridezilla!..."Sam said, as she was the one the wheel.
"Right, sorry..." Jazz said, since she knew that they had to save her brother.
They continued flying for a few minutes. That's when the Boo-merang hit the Speeder's windshield, broken.
"What happened?..." Sam asked, as she slammed on the breaks to stop.
"Her..." Tucker said, pointing ahead.
Ember now stood in front of the specter speeder and crossed her arms.
"You guys again?..."Ember asked.
"Move!..."Sam snapped at her.
"Pfft... as if I care why you're here..."Ember said, but her curiosity was peaked. "Still, why are you here? I thought you guys and Baby Pop were gonna deal with Helena!..."She stated.
"We're looking for Danny. Helena captured him..."Jazz said.
Ember's eyes widened in shock, like she couldn't actually believe what she had just heard.
"What the heck?! There is no way that could happen! Baby pop's way more powerful now. Even I couldn't beat him and I know that I'm stronger than that whiny Helena by a long shot!..."Ember shouted, as if she was personally insulted just now.
"She used some key and made a portal when he was distracted. He ended up going through it when she fired on behind and then closed the portal before he could get out..."Tucker explained.
"Wait, a key?..."Ember asked.
"Yeah..." Tucker said.
Ember frowned, as she processed all of this information.
"Why am I not surprised that Helena would else such dirty tricks? Still, if this was anyone else about anything, I might have been impressed by what she did..."Ember said, as Team Phantom frowned.
"We don't have time for this! We gotta find Danny but the boomerang is busted now! Thanks to you!..."Sam said, glaring at Ember for her actions.
"You're in luck. If my hunch is right, Helena probably took him to her realm. Keys like hers usually lead to the realm they claim..."Ember said.
"Her realm? You know where it is?..."Jazz asked.
"Duh, practically the whole ghost zone does so that they can AVOID going there..."Ember said, gesturing aimlessly around her.
"Where is it?..."Tucker asked, leaning into the windshield.
"And I should tell you why?..." Ember asked.
"Because... you're into Danny now?..." Jazz responded.
Ember heard this, blushed and frowned. She didn't want them to think she'd help them because they asked.
"Don't get any funny ideas, we're still enemies and I'm still bad to the bone...but I still hate Helena and Dipstick is too cute right now to be wasted on a hot mess like her. I got no attachment to any of you..."Ember said, rolling her eyes.
"So you won't help us?..." Sam asked.
"I never said that..." Ember said.
"So... you're doing this for Danny, right?..." Jazz asked.
The rockstar spirit shrugged in response.
"That, and 5 Christmases ago, Helena tried to steal my then boyfriend Bryce and I'm still ticked off about that. Granted, he was a shameless flirt but that's besides the point!..."Ember said, hating who she recalled.
"Just tell us where her realm is and we'll take it from there..."Sam said, not wanting to deal with her anymore than they have to.
"Fine...I could use a good laugh by watching Baby pop mop the floor with that shameless skank..."Ember said, smiling fondly at the idea.
"Then show us!..." Sam demanded, losing her patience.
"Be grateful that I'm helping you! Now shut up and follow me. I'm not so into him I won't blast you to kingdom come..." Ember responded.
Ember soon lead Team Phantom to the lair of Helena. They were unaware that a certain evil half ghost was following them and kept his distance.
"Ah, off to Daniel's wedding I see. I hope there's still room for an extra guess..."Vlad said as he followed.
Only he didn't bring a gift, he planned to steal one.
He wondered if he should bring some snacks and refreshments while watching this ordeal unfold. He was going to lose his teenage foe and gain a shot at making Maddie his, may as well enjoy it.
Back with Danny
The ghost man breathed heavy, blasting to keep the doves away. However, they both avoided his blasts with graceful acrobatics.
"NO!..." Danny shouted, as one came towards him before it somersaulted in an elegant manner. "Ooh..." He went in awe before it resumed its attack.
"NO!..." He reacted, before raising a shield in order to protect himself.
"I really need to teach them a time and place for those tricks..." Helena muttered.
However, that is when the door to her realm was opened by an angry looking Ember.
"Here it is..."The ghostly diva said, as she and Team Phantom went inside.
"There he is!..." Sam went.
"Guys!..."Danny shouted in relief, before pausing when he saw Ember.
"And Ember? You're here again?..."He asked, while Ember frowned.
"Don't get the wrong idea, Dipstick. Just be grateful that I hate Helena more than I hate you..."Ember stated.
Before Danny could comment on that, the ghostly bride-to-be looked furious by their intrusion.
"This is a private wedding! No guests!..." Helena shouted, before directing one dove to attack those intruding.
"Watch out for her birds!..." Ember shouted, while the humans tried to duck from their attacks.
"AHHH!..." Team Phantom went before seeing the dove extend her wings and present herself in an elegant manner. "Ooh..." All of them went before it resumed its attack.
"AAAHHH!..." They went once more, bracing themselves as the speeder was attacked.
"Is she trying to make Danny give up by sicking these things on her?..." Tucker asked, not getting it.
"Pfft... that won't work. If my guitar didn't, Big Bird there is fricasseed..." Ember scoffed.
Danny was about to help them, only for one bird to block his path.
"Hey!..."He shouted, while the ghostly bride smirked at him.
"Your choice now, Dennis. Marry me and they go free...or they can be my pets new toys!..." Helena said.
"It's Danny!..." Danny snapped.
"Well... I'll barely call you anything but affectionate nicknames, so it won't matter..." Helena said.
"You're insane!..."Danny shouted.
"Took you that long to figure that out, Baby pop.."Ember snarked, angering the other ghoul.
"You stay out of this, you hussy! He's mine now!..."Helena shouted, fists balled up.
"No, he isn't!..." Ember said.
"He can answer for himself...and either way, he's mine!..." Helena insisted.
Danny couldn't believe how stubborn this crazy ghost lady was acting. He couldn't take it anymore!
"I sure can. And my answer is still N.O.! NO! Never gonna happen in this or any other lifetime!..."He shouted, rejecting her.
That's when an applaud was heard.
"Am I too late to watch?!..." Vlad was heard shouting, as he entered the realm.
All of them directed their attention to who said that, and were shocked to see the evil halfa here.
"Vlad?! What the heck are you doing here?!..."Danny shouted, angry to see him.
Vlad just smiled mockingly.
"Oh, don't mind me. I'm just enjoying the show..."Vlad said, as he pulled out some lawn chair to sit in.
"You seriously came all the way here to watch this lady ruin my life?!..."Danny shouted. "Do you really have no life and give reasons to justify my mom having less love for you than ghosts?!..."He shouted.
Vlad frowned.
"She won't have a choice after I get what I am after. I'll either age your father to dust or de-age us to have a restart. Either works for me, but I can wait until after the wedding.."The evil halfa said, showing his true intent.
He wanted to record this moment for him to rewatch countless times, and even ordered one of his tiny Vladbots to fly ahead to record everything it sees that happening to Danny.
"You fruitloop!..."Danny shouted, furious at his audacity.
Danny was distracted when Helena cleared her throat, wanting the attention back on her.
"Enough, I'm not waiting another second. I got a wedding to start and a happily married afterlife with my soulmate What do you say, Mike?..." Helena said.
"First off... that didn't even start with D! Not one letter in my name was in there! Second, for the last time... NO!..."Danny shouted at her.
Helena scowled angrily.
"I think you should reconsider...I did say that I had a flaw!..." Helena said before snapping her fingers.
The dove attacking the speed gripped it tightly with its claws, heading to the humans of the realm.
"No!..." Danny went, as Sam and the others tried to blast at them.
However, the birds acrobatics lead to them to avoid the blasts and get closer to thm.
"Now, I know humans can go through things here... but I doubt they'd survive getting crushed..." Helena said sinisterly.
"Stop!..." Danny went, desperate to save his friends and sister.
"Just say the word... come down the aisle with me and let me kiss you...or else!..." Helena said, eyes glowing angrily.
"What?..." Danny asked.
"This is my domain, with my rules. Once I kiss you here... my power will make you bound to me forever!..." Helena said, looking happy in thought.
"What?!..." Danny questioned.
"Yes. With one kiss, then you'll be mine forever!..." Helena said victoriously before sighing happily. "Oh, so handsome and even more powerful than I imagined!..."She said, smiling widely.
"You're nuts!..."Danny shouted, before he had an epiphany.
"More powerful?..."Danny mused as he recalled something he heard today.
An unspoken rule about how powers work, one that Ember and Kitty had told him earlier.
"So... what do you say?..." Helena asked, making it clear that she will hurt the humans unless she gets what she wants.
Danny had one way he could think of to save them. If he was wrong, they will at least be saved.
"Let them go, promise to never hurt them, and I'll do it. I'll let you kiss me..." Danny went.
"What?!..."Sam and Ember went, both unable to believe what they were hearing.
The wannabe bride heard this and grinned, thinking she won.
"You have my word, my darling Danny..." Helena went.
"Well, at least you got my name right..." Danny muttered bitterly.
"But you have to promise... once my spell is complete and you're mine... you will NEVER see any of them again... except maybe the holidays when your family can visit us..." Helena said.
"Okay...if that spells works..." Danny said, hoping his hunch worked.
With that, Helena silently ordered the dove to release them as she made Danny walk down the aisle. She even used her powers to make a tuxedo appear on him, much to his annoyance.
"With the power of this kiss, you'll be mine! Now... you may now be kissed by the bride!..." Helena said as she planted a kiss on Danny.
Needless to say that Danny's sister and friends were left a little speechless at the moment after what they witnessed.
"NO!..."Sam, Ember, Jazz and Tucker all shouted, watching Helena's spell at work.
The other villain was grinning with sinister glee and laughing hard at what he thought was hilarious.
"Christmas certainly came early for me today. Farewell, Danny Phantom!..."Vlad laughed up a storm, rubbing his hands in glee.
Helena's kiss continued, Danny's body glowing blue.
"Please work!..."The ghostly man thought.
Danny closed his eyes, hoping his idea will work. The blue fizzled out, not that either of them noticed. The bride pulled away, believing that it worked.
After a moment, Helena let him go and laughed victoriously.
"I did it! I finally have my husband for all eternity! Oh, we'll have the coziest home sweet home!..." She gushed, as she turned her back.
"Now, you might have to move in with me and let me do all the decorating. I think it's best if we cut off all connections with the outside world. Then we-..." That's when she felt a cold sensation under his chin.
"Hmm?..."She let out, wondering what was happening.
To her shock and displeasure, she was frozen from the neck down. With a very audible gasp, she watched as Danny phased his hand through the ice to steal her pocket watch. He then wiped his mouth angrily.
"No thanks... I didn't say I do, so it ain't official..."Danny said, before punching her.
Once she recovered, she got mad at this development.
"What?! How?! My kiss should have made you mine!..." Helena questioned angrily.
"About that... you did say that I was more powerful than you imagined..." Danny reminded her, smirking a mile wide.
It took Helena a moment to think about what he was implementing, before she hissed in anger as the realization finally hit her.
"I can't believe I forgot about that!..."She shouted, looking upset.
"I guess that you're so focused on looking pretty that you let air fill that head of yours, you saying how powerful I am gave me the idea..." Danny said with a smirk.
"Wait... you didn't mean anything you said?!..." Helena asked.
"I said I'd let you kiss me... never said I'd marry you..." Danny pointed out.
Helena cried in anger.
"NO FAIR!..."She screamed, and even started spewing out profanities that weren't appropriate around youthful crowds.
Vlad, getting up, realized what this meant and couldn't believe this.
"So, in order for me to get that pocket watch, I need to let Daniel use it first. To make sure it works..." Vlad said under his breath, as he continued to watch these events unfold.
Ember then approached Danny, both relieved to see it didn't work and surprised Helena thought it would.
"Wait... so... you mean she knew about the unspoken rule? That a ghost of greater power has greater resistance to the spells and abilities of a weaker one? And she forgot?..." Ember asked in disbelief that any ghost would forget that critical unspoken truth.
"Like I said, air in her head, too focused on what she wanted that she barely paid attention to much else..." Danny said, making the ghostly diva laugh.
"True..."She said.
"You could have told us about that detail, do you know how scared we were that you might have lost your mind and marry that freak?!..."Sam yelled at him.
"Sorry, but it worked out..."Danny said.
"Yeah, I'm just glad that I don't have to call that crazy ghost my sister-in-law..."Jazz said.
"Still, surprised that kiss didn't work, you must be tough enough to take on Vortex with one hand behind your back..." Ember said, looking to Danny with interest.
"Looks like it. I wasn't sure how powerful I was... but I was able to beat Undergrowth so that's something..."Danny stated.
"For real?..."Ember asked, sounding impressed.
Danny nodded.
'Yeah, and it looks like it's more than enough that her hypno-kiss didn't do anything to me..." Danny said before directing his attention to the ghost who changed him.
"Now... show me how this works, so I can change myself back..."Danny demanded.
Helena scowled before she threw another one of her infamous tantrums.
"It's not fair! It's not fair! I found someone ideal for me!... and he's too powerful for me to claim! It's not fair! Not fair! Not fair! Not fair!..."She yelled, jumping up and down and stomping her foot like an angry, spoiled child.
"Will you shut up and just show me how to do this?!..."Danny ordered, only for Helena to keep doing her tantrum, ignoring Danny's demands.
"NO WAY! I finally found the right man and I'm not gonna let this one go!..."Helena shouted, as she broke one arm out to telepathically grab the pocket watch.
"Hey!..."Danny shouted, trying to grab the pocket watch back, but she teleported a few feet away from him.
"How did you do that?!..."He demanded.
"This is still mine to command, Darling..."Helena said in a cocky way. "So you'll have take this from my cold dead hands!..."She said.
"That's easy, seeing you have cold, crabby hands!..."Danny shouted, glaring at her in anger.
"HOW DARE YOU! I'm gonna make you use your hands to massage my feet once we're married!..."She snarled, pointing at her down feet in her shoes.
"Now there's a fate worse than death..."Ember said as she tried to use her guitar, but a dove suddenly pinned her to the ground.
"Hey!..." Ember shouted.
Danny's hands glowed.
"Even if I let you kiss me again, which I won't, you know now you're not strong enough to make it work on me!..." Danny said.
"You might be stronger than me in terms of power, but I always find a way to get what I want...Pumpkin..."Helena said, as she smirked at him.
She gestured at her other dove to attack, which charged at Danny, before there was a loud strum and the second dove slammed onto it.
"Leave these chicken wings to me, Dipstick. You send Ms. Sour Attitude over there down the aisle, and not for the reasons she wants..." Ember said, flying after the two doves.
The ghostly bride got upset by her interference.
"That stupid harlot, trying to steal my man. Again!..." Helena said, eyes glowing, before the pocket watch was blasted off her hand.
She quickly summoned it at glared at Danny. The ghost man heard this and rolled his eyes.
"First, Ember's not stealing me from you... though I'd rather be in a love triangle with her and Kitty again than one involving you. Second, I'm getting my youth back right now!..."He shouted.
"NO WAY! I refuse to let you take my best shot at love away! You will love me whether you want to or not!..."Helena shouted in a deranged manner.
That's not love, that's selfishness!..."Danny said, frowning at her.
"What could you know of love?!..."Helena challenged.
"That it's not real if it's forced! I'd sooner start a relationship with Ember McLain or Kitty. Heck I'd even consider dating Spectra or Desiree than you any day. There's also Paulina, Star, Valerie, that redhead who dyed her hair brown..." Danny said, counting all the other women he'd rather be with than her with both hands.
"He didn't even mention me in any of that..."Sam thought, looking upset but said nothing.
Helena looked furious at that while Ember smirked.
"Aw, glad to see that despite being a pest, Dipstick still has decent taste in women, myself included..."Ember mocked.
Helena screamed at that.
"I'm going to terminate them once you're mine!..."She screamed before she came charging at him.
In response, Danny held her back by pressing his hand into her forehead before taking the pocket watch back.
"I'm gonna ask one more time. Show me how this works, so I can change myself back to my original age right now!..."Danny ordered, only for Helena to reject his commend.
"NO WAY! I finally found the man of my dreams and I'm not going to let him slip through my finger!..."Helena shouted, as she recalled the pocket watch to her hand.
In response, Danny fired a light beam out of his finger, sending her flying into the ground.
"Poor little Helena, forever bridesmaid but never a bride..."Danny mocked.
Helena glared at that.
"I won't be a bridesmaid for now! I AM THE BRIDE!..."She shouted as she then pulled out a marriage certificate and an ink pad.
"You will be mine, by any means!..."She shouted like a crazy person.
She rushed towards him, trying to grab his right arm. Danny jumped back, avoiding her grip before blasting the ink pad off her hand.
"Helena, will you just wake up already and take off the rose-tinted shades?! There is no way that we'll ever be together. I'm a teenager trapped in a man's body, and you're a woman who needs therapy, lot's of therapy! Even if I was truly 24 years old, we could never be happy together!..."Danny shouted at her, spelling it out even louder to her than before.
"I don't wanna be happy! I WANNA BE MARRIED! AND I WANT YOU!..."Helena yelled, before she suddenly disappeared.
Before Danny could react, she grabbed Danny's right hand, covered his thumb with ink and pushed his hand into the paper.
"Huh?!..." Danny went, before pulling his hand away. "What did you do?!..."He demanded, while the bride started laughing in triumph right now.
"Now... with this marriage contract! You are mine forever!..." Helena shouted before laughing maniacally.
"No..." Danny said flatly.
With that, the parchment effectively burns up and is reduced to ash. Helena stared blankly as the pile that was once her paper.
"What the heck?! Oh... that's right... I can't use it on ghosts with greater power than mine if they don't consent... it's the only reason that I never used it on Clockwork or the Fright Knight..." She muttered, looking upset right now.
"Guess your plans... just got toasted..." Danny said with a smile.
Helena got angrier and snapped again.
"You might be cute, but you're getting on my nerves now!..."She snapped.
The man seeking ghost bride could clearly see that she was at a disadvantage against the grown-up Danny. The ghost hunk probably thought that he had her cornered right now too.
Helena, however, still had one or two more tricks up her sleeves.
"I didn't think that I'd have to use this thing so soon, but desperate times call for desperate measures..."She said, as she pulled something else.
It was a strange glimmering floral bouquet that sparked with ominous energy.
"What is that?..." Danny asked, having a bad feeling about that bouquet in her hands.
"Their called Dark Carnations for your information, Sweetheart. They help with any inconveniences and worth every cent..."Helena said, deciding to use them.
She violently threw the shining lilies on the ground and cause the bouquet to blow up with its pedals glowing and swirling around her and the ghost man.
"GAHHH!..." Danny yelled as he was getting pushed closer to her.
Helena smirked and allowed herself to be surrounded by the glowing pedals.
"You can't leave unless you agree to the terms of who uses them..."Helena shouted, thinking that she had the upper hand now.
"Or..." Danny said before his eyes glowed blue.
In a flash, the petals were frozen in ice before falling to the ground. Helena stared in disbelief.
"Seriously?!..." She questioned angrily, unable to believe that didn't work.
"Yup..." Danny said with a smile as he made enough distance between him and her.
Seeing that didn't work, the would be bride got even more desperate now. However, she still had this one handy trick that she can still count on.
"That's it, time for my next plan!..." Helena exclaimed.
She used her powers and suddenly, bridesmaids made of rocks suddenly grabbed him. Danny blasted them into rubble, but more rock bridesmaids appeared and piled on him.
"I can just smash them apart!..."Danny shouted as he tore himself free.
"Doesn't matter! In my realm, they're endless!..." She shouted.
Danny punched one in the head.
"I'll smash them!..."He said simply.
"I'll make more!..."Helena shouted in a stubborn way.
"With the same result!..."Danny said in a cocky way.
"Then I'll make a new batch! As many as I have to! Eventually, you'll give up!..."She shouted, looking more desperate by the minute.
"Not a chance!..."Danny said.
Vlad frowned.
"This...isn't funny anymore..."He said, not finding this entertaining anymore.
"Shut up, Fruitloop!..."Sam said, as they all watched Danny continued to destroy the rocky minions of Helena.
Helena was growing more and more impatience.
"Darn it! He's too strong. I better try something else!..."Helena thought, as she snapped her finger again.
One of her rock minions appeared before Danny and grabbed him by the arm, catching him off guard.
"Hey!..."Danny shouted, but it was too fast.
"Throw him into the church!..."Helena exclaimed.
Suddenly, the rocksmaid threw Danny into the church, the door breaking into pieces.
"I didn't mean it literally!..." Helena exclaimed before she floated into the church.
She saw Danny standing up from the altar, she quickly levitated the benches and slammed them into the disoriented Danny.
"Huh?..."Danny went, as shook his head and raised his arms to catch the benches.
"Fighting me isn't gonna change my mind!..." Danny said.
"I don't care how long it takes, you will be mine!..." Helena shouted.
"She's so fixated on me..." Danny said before an idea sprung. "Which means she won't see what's coming..."He said, smirking.
Upon pushing the benches, Helena moved out of the way before seeing Danny disappear.
"Sweetums? Where did you go?..." She asked, looking around for him.
Suddenly, she saw a shadow appear
Helena quickly spun around and held her pocket watch, the closest thing in hand, and released a strong blast, hitting Danny and blasted him to a boulder, which shattered and buried him.
Little did she know, Danny was hoping she'd only pay attention to him.
"Oopsie, too much..." Helena said as she put the pocket watch away.
She didn't see or notice someone else took it as she paid attention only to Danny.
Danny was under a pile of rubble after getting hit by one of Helena's attacks, he still hasn't come out from under there, which of course the bridezilla took as a good right as if he had given up.
Helena smirked cruelly.
"Well? What say you? I take it you're too tired to say no now!..." She shouted.
There was no answer, which was the answer she waited for.
"Now like I said before, I don't take no for an answer!..." The harpy snapped.
"I finally found the perfect hunk of a man and I'm ready to settle down! So why don't you make it easy on yourself and come quietly so we can start our afterlife together as husband and wife..."She demanded, thinking that she's won.
Sam, Ember, Jazz and Tucker were disgusted.
"Alright, that's it! I'm blasting her to kingdom come!..." Jazz exclaimed.
Jazz was just about to use the Fenton Bazooka on the ghost that attacked her brother. That is before she was stopped by the ghost diva.
"Wait!..." Ember said. "Something isn't right… This almost feels normal..."She stated, looking suspicious right now.
"What are you talking about?!..." Sam hissed at their temporary ally.
"We have to stop her, before she takes Danny away from me.. US… Definitely us!..."She said in an unconvincing way.
"Use your brains!..." Ember snapped.
"Don't any of you find it weird that with the power boost the Dipstick has gotten after being age up, that he hasn't come out from under all that rubble, yet?..."She pointed out.
Team Phantom blinked, understanding what she was implying, so they turned back to the battlefield.
And not a moment too soon as they saw the rubble began to shake and then a fist came out and then another, Danny bursts from the wreckage, bruised up, hair a mess, and the tuxedo ripped.
But what surprised/shocked/ pleased everyone was that Danny was no longer a man, but back to his fourteen years old self.
"NO!..." Helena bellowed, looking devastated and sounding as if her dreams were just scattered right in front of her.
"Yes! My little brother's back to normal!..." Jazz cheered, looking relieved now.
"Aww!..." Sam and Ember said at the same time, they then looked at each other and then at Jazz and Tucker who stared back at them with knowing smiles.
"I mean… Yay! Danny/The dipstick is back to normal.." They said weakly.
Vlad saw this and frowned, not happy about this.
"Darn, I was hoping to see if she'd sell me that thing since she wouldn't need it anymore..."Vlad complained, upset that his show was over now.
Meanwhile Danny was panting heavily now.
"What?..."He went, as he looked at his hands.
"I'm back?..." He asked unsure.
He began to touch his torso, his face and noticed that he wasn't so tall and muscular anymore. Much to his joy, he was no longer an adult, but a teenager again.
"I'm back to my old younger self?..."He exclaimed in hopefulness and disbelief.
The ghost boy pinched himself and once he realized that he wasn't in a dream or coma, he cheered. He began making a few flying moments as if to celebrate his comeback into his teenage self.
"I'm a teenager again! YAHOO! I'm going through puberty and too young to drive! Alright!..."Danny cheered, happy to be back to his scrawny, fourteen-year-old self instead of the hunk that caused female wars.
"B-But how?! I didn't use m-..." Helena reached for the pocket watch, only to not feel it.
"What?!..."She shouted.
"I knew that you'd pay attention only to me... so I made a copy to steal it while you had your eyes on me. Soon as he brought it to me, I just saw the undo button on the side, pressed it and hoped for the best. Although, part of me is glad to see what I become, the other part is still wanting payback..."Danny said.
Despite knowing what he'll look like in the future, he's no rush into becoming a hunk anytime soon.
"That's a relief..." Jazz said.
"Yeah..." Sam said with a fake smile before frowning behind everyone's backs.
The only one who wasn't celebrating was Helena who was shaking with rage and finally bellowed angrily. This of course stopped everyone as they soon realized they had a certain harpy to get rid off.
"NO! NO! NO!..." She snarled.
"This is ridiculous, utterly Ridiculous! I finally found a decent man and I will not be denied settling down!..."She shrieked.
Helena recalled the pocket watch and, in her desperation, used her powers to age Danny up. But seeing the ghost attack heading his way, the ghost boy jumped out of the way and flew away from the relentless ectoplasmic attack.
"Hold still! I'm turning you back into my ideal man!..." Helena snarled.
"So not happening!..." Danny snapped back.
"I'm back to normal and in no hurry get get married! Especially with someone so desperately lonely she has a better chance of becoming a cat lady than a wife!..."He shouted.
"You don't have a choice in the matter!..." Helena yelled out angrily. "I want a man! And I'm going to get my man if it's the last thing I do!..."She screamed.
"Then it'll be the last thing you'll do!..." Danny exclaimed as he kept dodging her.
Helena wasn't backing down, not at all.
"Now... to end this..."She said, hands and eyes glowing with malicious intent.
