It's a nice sunny day in the east blue. The sun is shining. The birds are singing. Everything is going peacefully.
On a island called dawn island, there lives a young 7 year old boy... a boy, who'll change the world someday. And his name...
Is monkey D Luffy.
Luffy is walking around the forest. He thinks to himself as he walks around.
(Dumb old grandpa, thinking I should be a marine. I don't want to be a marine. I want to be a pirate thought Luffy).
As he keeps on walking around he finds a chest on the ground. He opens it only to find a strange looking fruit and a book inside.
Not knowing if he should eat it or not, he decides to read the book to see if it says anything about said fruit.
To his surprise it does.
The said fruit is called a devil fruit named the rumble rumble fruit. A Logia type that gives the user the power to create, control and turn into Lightning.
With this power... the user is somewhat unstoppable.
After reading the book, Luffy's eyes turned into stars. Wow, with this fruit, I'd be pretty powerful... with this fruit... I could be a strong pirate. I don't know why it's only somewhat unstoppable, but oh well. Bottoms up said Luffy before eating the nasty thing.
Just like that Luffy felt something inside his body.
That feeling... was power.
Just like that Luffy's eyes started to spark with electricity.
So this is what power feels like... I like it said Luffy with a smile.
Just like that Luffy started heading back to town.
When he made it outside the forest. He saw a ship at the docks. Luffy smiles at the sight of said ship. For he knows that ship.
Shanks is back. I can't wait to see his face when I show him my powers said a smiling Luffy.

The red haired pirates are sailing something's they don't need nor want.
The captain of said crew. "Red hair Shanks, is calm as he watches his crew work.
As he does that he waits for someone.
Waiting for him again captain? Asked the vice captain Benn Beckmann.
Yep said Shanks with a calming smile.
Just like that Shanks found him. There you are Luffy said Shanks with a smile.
Just like that Luffy did something unthinkable... he teleported in front of Shanks.
Ta-da said Luffy showing off his new powers.
Luffy... did you just teleport? Asked Shanks in shock.
Yep. I just learned that now said Luffy.
Luffy... did you eat a devil fruit? Asked Shanks worried.
I ate the rumble rumble fruit, now. I'm Lightning said Luffy with a big smile.
But you can't swim anymore said Shanks.
That's ok, I was never good at swimming in the first place said Luffy.
I see you gained some smarts said Shanks.
Yep. I don't even feel dumb anymore said Luffy.
So what ya going to do now? Asked Shanks.
I'm thinking of being my own pirate captain. I'll form a strong crew, head to the grand line. Find the one piece, and I'll be king of the pirates said Luffy.
Hmm, good choice Luffy said Shanks with a smile.
I think I'll set sail at age 17. Seems fair right? Asked Luffy.
Indeed, I was younger when I started pirating , but this is your choice. Keep in mind not all pirates are kind hearted people, understand? Asked Shanks.
Yes said Luffy. Good to hear. Now then, let's party everyone! Said Shanks heading to the town bar with his crew following.
After words Shanks and his crew set sailed away as always.
Luffy then began his training asap.
As days go by, Luffy learns that he has endless energy and are immune to the side effects of lack of sleep.
He seems to be getting better and stronger each day. He even learns to use swords.
And for some reason he can sense things and people from far away.
His grandfather monkey D Garp told him he has observation haki, one of three forms of haki.
Luffy trained to see if he can awaken armament haki as well as conquerors haki to.
Sadly, he's ended up with both observation and armament haki.
After meeting Ace and Sabo they become good friends.
After Sabo left to find the revaluation army to save the world from the world government, Ace became 17 and left to be a pirate himself.
Luffy being 14, had to wait for three years before heading out like he said.
After he trained and trained. He finally managed to awaken conquerors haki.
After turning 17... he was ready.
[at the docks]
Luffy is wearing a red sleeveless vest. A pair of black pants. Some black boots. And had black gloves on.
Around his hips are his cutlasses.
Around his back is a two Handed long sword.
Luffy then used his powers to call upon his ride.
His ride is a cloud shaped as a gallon.
He teleported onboard his cloud ship and sailed into the great unknown.
