The world of Pokemon is filled with mysteries beyond human reach. And people of this world, live in harmony with these mysterious creatures. They cherish them as family or even as partners.

In this world, their is one particular trainer who exceeded everyone's expectation when he became the World Champion, when he was only 15 years old.

(A/N: just one thing before we continue, in this story Ash has aged in each region. He spent about 6 months in each region. That's why, he is 15 years old when he won the World Championship. So go along with it, for the sake of the story.)

"Good Morning guys!" Ash said to all his Pokemons, with whom he's been living for the last 5 months. After Ash had won the Championship he decided to spent sometime away from the civilization and with his Pokemons. So, he decided to live on Mount Coronet. He found a cave which was inhabitant, and started living there.

"Breakfast will be ready in few Gardevoir. So, please wake everyone up." Ash said to the embrace Pokemon. "Sure Ash!" She happily replied using telepathy.

As everyone was eating, Ash started "Guys I have been thinking, we should head back. It's been 5 months, everyone must be getting worried by now. What do you think?" After a moment of silence every single Pokemon began shouting excitedly, indicating that they agree with him.

As he was trying to calm his Pokemon down, he noticed his Gardevoir was a little nervous. "What's wrong Gardevoir?" Ash asked worriedly. "It's just that, ever since I can remember I have had only bad experiences with humans. Besides you, I don't trust other humans. So, I'm little nervous about leaving this place." She finished looking at the ground.

"Don't worry, you will have me by your side." Ash said in his usual toothy grin. Which eased Gardevoir's nervousness. "Pikachu!" Pikachu said as jumping on his trainers shoulder. "Thanks Ash and Pikachu!" She replied smiling, knowing full well that her trainer and her friends will help and protect her no matter what.

"So, when do we leave?" Gardevoir ask. "Right now! So everyone listen up! Once you all are in your PokeBall, I won't be able to call you out. So, besides Pikachu, I'm gonna have Charizard out with me. Gardevoir, for now I think you should stay in the PokeBall." Ash finished while looking at Gardevoir who just nodded agreeing with him.

"I'm going to pack up some stuff. While you guys gets ready to leave." Everyone agreed and headed to different areas to finish whatever they were doing.

After half an hour, every Pokemon were in their respective PokeBall. "Charizard are you ready?" Ash asked Charizard while getting on him. Charizard grunt in response. "I want you to take me to the nearest town, I wanna checkout something." And with that they flew to the civilization once again.

Flying for nearly 45 minutes, they had reached a small town. Ash knew every town, no matter how small it may be, they always thay had a Pokemon center. As they reached the town gate, Ash got off Charizard and started walking towards the Pokemon Center.

As he was walking, he noticed how people were looking at him and whispering. Ash thought it was weird, until he saw his own reflection in a mirror and understood why they were whispering. "I can't blame them, I do look like as if I have been living in a jungle or something." Ash said while glaring at his two best friends, who had been snickering for last few minutes. But the thing that caught him off guard was how much he'd grown. 'I didn't think one could get this much taller in just 5 months.' Ash thought to himself.

"Let's go to clothing store. What do ya say?" Ash asked his best friends, while pushing the thought at the back of his mind. Pikachu and Charizard just replied by nodding. As they entered a store, the retailers gave him a weird look. Ash said to them with a sweatdrop "I know I look weird, that's why I'm here." The retailers, who were two ladies in their twenties, started giggling and directed him to male section.

Ash tried on few different garments and decided to buy two hoodies, three jeans and three t-shirts. "I think this will get me by for few days." Ash said to no one in particular. After buying few more other stuff and asking for directions to the Pokemon Center, they left the store.

After reaching the Center, he sent both Pikachu and Charizard to get checked out. As Nurse Joy's partner

Chansey took them for a general checkup, "Nurse Joy can you check my Poke Account? I have been wondering how much I have saved." Ash asked while taking out his Pokedex.

"Sure thing! Just place your Pokedex on the panel and it will show you your Poke Account." Nurse Joy reply while pointing towards the panel that was infront of Ash. As he placed it, the panel showed everything, from his personal data to how much balance there is in his Poke Account.

As he was checking his balance, Nurse Joy's attention went to the name. "What!" She exclaimed in a shock. Ash moved his attention from the panel to Nurse Joy "Is everything okay, Nurse Joy?" he asked bit worriedly.

As he asked her that, Joy's expressions changed from shock to confusion to happy in just a matter of seconds. "It says here that your name is Ash Ketchum. Is that true?" She asked him happily. "Ah...yes. I'm Ash Ketchum from Pallet Town. Why is something wrong?" At this moment Ash was more then confused. He had no idea why she was acting this way.

"So you're alive after all!" She said joyously. "Wait what? What's that suppose to mean? Why wouldn't I be alive?!" Ash asked now panicking more. 'This makes no sense! Why would she say that?!'

It was not just Ash who was confused, Pikachu and Charizard, who had returned from their checkup few minutes ago, were confused as well. They had no idea why Nurse Joy would say something like that. Nurse Joy clearly now understanding Ash didn't know what had happened, took a deep breath and looked straight in his eyes and said:

"It's because you, Ash Ketchum, have been missing for the last 5 years!"
