As the group kept going, Junior kept asking random questions. Mario just chuckled as they got to the next spa. It helped Junior to become flat. Mario had nodded off, not expecting to. When he opened them, he saw that he was back at the same place he sang with L. Mario looked around for the bandit but he was no where in sight.

He asked, "L...?"

The bandit came out from around the corner, dressed back in his usual manner. "Sir-jumps-a-lot."

Mario questioned, "You changed back?"

L admitted, "The Spanish hero look wasn't me."

The red clad plumber teased, "Well, yeah, cause you are Italian." To that, L laughed. Mario did too. He turned to L and said, "Why does this keep happening? I don't get it."

L explained, "Could be that your connection with Junior is so strong that you can enter his dreams."

Mario admitted, "That does sound plausible."

L teased, "Or you just want to bond with me so bad that this is happening?"

Mario rolled his eyes, "You wish."

"Mario?"

Mario opened his eyes, seeing Violet there.

He asked, "Violet...? Did I nod off?"

Violet confirmed, "Yeah you did. We were about to head out."

To that, the hero of the kingdom nodded.

...

The heroes were looking for the jungle spring, the Spring of Jungle Mist. Kamek and Olivia kept wanting to go in different directions. Mario was aggravated.

Mario groaned, "Can you two please make up your mind?!"

Olivia and Kamek said at the same time, "He/She started it!"

Luigi stated, "It doesn't matter who started but we are good and lost now."

Violet deadpanned, "Yeah, so thanks a lot."

As they kept walking around, they found a giant origami Chain Chomp.

Olivia started to say, "What the...?"

Violet blinked, "Is that a Chain Chomp...?"

Kamek pointed out, "Now isn't the time to dewadle!"

Mario stated, "Time for the chase!"

Luigi replied, "Start the music!"

Oddly as soon as the man in green said that, some music started. None recognized the song but they ran for it. The Chain Chomp got stuck finally. Everyone breathed a sigh of relief. They got to climbing the tree when Kamek ran ahead. Mario turned, seeing the Chain Chomp had followed them.

Olivia commented, "Oh this is bad..."

Mario stated, "Time to run!"

Luigi replied, "And how!"

Violet responded, "Right behind you!"

With that, the heroes ran off. The Chain Chomp was almost right behind them. They got to a vine and swung away from the Chain Chomp. Once they got to their feet, they noticed that they were finally safe.

Kamek breathed, "Oh phew."

Olivia said, "Uh guys...?"

Everyone turned, seeing that the spring wasn't filled. It was leaking.

Violet stated, "It's...leaking...? Sounds like a job for a plumber."

Mario shot her a look, "Oh, haha."

Luigi told his brother, "Not the first time she pulled that joke on me." He turned to a Toad and asked, "What happened?"

The Toad (Max) said, "We lost the drain plug."

Kamek protested, "Are you... You can't be... I mean... Where do we even start with this? First, do you even realize on how difficult it is to reach this place?"

Mario stated, "Let's go find that drain plug, guys. Shouldn't be too hard."

And the hero of the kingdom was right, the drain plug was in a tree nearby. The 1,000 Fold Arms knocked it back into place.

Max told them, "Oh thanks for taking care of that! The guy who usually does it usually requires three weeks notice."

Luigi was baffled, "Three weeks, that's ridiculous!"

Violet replied, "Oh yeah, before I winded up here, a lot of things were changing back home and not for the better."

Everyone got in the hot spring.

The man in green asked, "D - do you miss Chicago?"

The sacred violet ice sighed sadly, "Yes. No? It's complicated. My dad and I never really bonded. So it was just me and my mom for the longest time." There was an uneasy silence. She added, "I miss her."

Luigi put his hand around his shoulders, holding her close. Violet was trying not to cry. Mario looked at her sadly.

The red clad plumber asked gently, "What happened to your father?"

Violet sniffled, "He was a top chef at Cafe Rosa for the longest time. At one time, I was thinking of joining him."

Luigi just held Violet closer after he heard that. He couldn't imagine his world without his girlfriend and vice versa. Mario got in on their hug, holding them both close. He didn't know what would do without either of them. Junior was finally cleaned up.

Junior stated, "I'm gonna go for another dip!"

The son of Bowser did just that, coming out a few minutes later, all of his colors were gone.

Olivia said, "Eep! He's colorless!"

Kamek added, "I thought I was staring at a ghost!"

Mario stated, "We do have one more hot spring to do."

Luigi replied, "Maybe it will return Junior's colors back."

Violet responded, "That's a good idea. Let's find it."

The heroes headed out, chatting as they did. They found the last hot spring, soothing in it. Junior was back to being flat. They were about to get the last stamp but Olivia was in there way too long and she started to unfold.

Kamek stated, "Her folds are starting to disappear! She'll be regular paper in no time if we take no action!"

Kamek managed to fold her back to how she was before.

Olivia said, "Thanks Kamek! I feel so much better now!"

Junior commented, "Yay, she's back to normal!"

Mario asked, "But how are we going to get Junior's colors back?"

Luigi answered, "Not sure but we might find out getting that last stamp."

Violet replied, "Yeah, let's check at the front desk."

The group headed that way. They gave Cory the stamp card.

Cory said, "Congratulations! You've done it! For some reason, many our clients seem to have a hard time making it to all four springs."

He gave them a pass to the Spring of Rainbows.

Mario read aloud, "Spring of Rainbows VIP."

Luigi perked up, "Spring of Rainbows?"

Violet asked, "I thought there was only four hot springs."

Cory explained, "That's what the prize is, you get to go to our very last and very exclusive."

Kamek thought for a moment, "Maybe this can restore your colors, Young Master."

Junior pouted, "Aw, does that mean I have to take another bath?"

To that, everyone nodded.

Cory added, "Now, as this is our exclusive spring, the Spring of Rainbows is not as easy to find as some of our others. In fact, I'm not going to tell you where it is. That's part of the fun!"

Mario stated, "I bet it is where those clouds are covering on the map."

Luigi replied, "Let's go check it out then."

The group headed out.
