Mario groaned, "Of course it wasn't going to be that easy..."

Olivia reassured, "Don't worry, we'll find them."

To that, Mario only nodded. There was only one way for them to go and they hadn't found any more of those shadow hands. When Olivia and Mario got into the next room, they saw Luigi and Violet were on Bowser's throne, knocked out. Mario was about to run to them, ignoring the obvious trap, he saw already ignoring Bowser, and get the green streamer when he heard something.

"LOOK OUT!"

Mario heard Bowser's voice and jumped just in time. He got away from the scissors.

He said, "I get credit for that!"

The dual-bladed duelist scissors stood in front of the throne, "Hmm. Well dodged. Of course, I expected nothing less. It would be terribly boring for things to end so quickly, yes?"

Olivia said, "So you were just going to cut us all down?!"

Mario stated, "Set free my brother, my friend, and Bowser now! Or you'll get it pounding from me!"

As he said the hero of the kingdom activated his Firebrand. To his surprise and horror, a fence appeared. There, in front of them was a giant Buzzy Beetle made out of all the minion's faces.

Olivia stammered, "A - ah! That thing is made out of everyone's faces! Is that what he was going to do to Luigi and Violet?"

Mario was furious now. His Firebrand went Super Nova hot, making Mario a blazing inferno. Olivia was in awe of his transformation.

"Let my brother and the others go! NOW!" He growled.

The scissors didn't say anything but let the giant Buzzy Beetle attack the red clad plumber. Mario deactivate his Firebrand quickly, returning to normal. He brought out his hammer and did a few hits on it. He freed Kamek's face, weakening it greatly.

"Malleo...?"

Mario perked up, seeing that Luigi and Violet had woken up. They had freed themselves and they were behind Scissors. Mario held back his tears.

"Weegie! Violet!"

Scissors had noticed them and were about to cut them up when the man in green created a Thunderhand shield. Scissors tried to get in but the ghost hunter kept it far away.

Violet turned to Mario, "I don't think Weegie can hold this much longer! You've got to hurry!"

Mario slightly teased, "Are you kidding? I could do this all day!"

Olivia laughed, "Might just be that way if we don't hurry!"

Mario beat the Buzzy Beetle, throwing a fireball at the scissors. It got away from Luigi and Violet, its attention on the hero.

It said, "I suppose any toy made out of the faces of those pathetic minions was bound to be flimsy."

Mario growled, "They weren't pathetic! They were just doing their job!"

The scissors stated, "No matter, I trust you've warmed up? En garde!"

That's when the scissors attacked them. Mario used his Firebrand, his 1,000 Fold Arms, and his shared Fire Vellumental. Luigi used his Thunderhand, his Earth Vellumental, and his shared Fire Vellumental. Violet used her Aurora Nine, her Water Vellumental, and her Ice Vellumental. It took a while but the heroes managed to defeat scissors.

Olivia hissed at the scissors, "Is that enough?"

Mario added, "That's what you get for taking my brother and my friends!"

Luigi came over to his brother and hugged him tightly. Mario returned the hug, holding his brother close. They parted from the hug as Mario gave Violet a hug next. Violet returned it and they parted from their hug. The scissors were awfully quiet until Luigi pushed it. They fell over and exploded.

Luigi stated, "And we are done here."

Violet replied, "Got that right, that thing was scary."

There was a flash of light as all of Bowser's minions were back to normal. Kamek and Bowser Junior came over to the heroes.

Kamek said, "You did it! I'm fully restored, and I even managed to hold on to my wand."

Junior smiled, "Yeah, not bad. Guess some of the things Dad says about you being tiny and stupid aren't true."

The group went over to the spell circle. Mario used his 1,000 Fold Arms to destroy the final streamer. The streamer exploded into confetti.

Mario commented, "The last streamer is done."

Luigi stated, "Now we just got to get to Peach's castle."

Violet pointed out, "We will, sooner or later." She turned to Olivia and added, "Glad you are okay."

Olivia giggled, "Yeah, I'm glad you guys are okay too. Thank you all so much for helping me. Ever since you saved me from Peach Castle's wall, you've been saving me over and over again. So from the bottom of my heart, I want to thank you guys. I truly couldn't have done any of this without all of you. I - I wouldn't have amounted to anything..."

Mario perked up, "Are you kidding? You are the one that's always helping us. Heck, you even saved Violet's life early on our adventure, remember?"

Luigi replied, "You've amounted to so much, even without our help."

Violet responded, "They are right, Olivia. We're all proud of you."

Olivia blushed, looking at her friends.

"Hey! Origami girl! Mario! Greenie! Violet! Are you guys gonna let me down or not?!"

Everyone laughed as the hero of the kingdom activated his Firebrand and got Bowser down.

He added, "We're all going together. The heroes need to rescue the princess, turn Greenie back to paper, and I need to find Olly and punchify his face for making me like this! Or at least flap aggressively at him until I get my body back!"

Junior said, "Yeah, I'm gonna get him for what he did to my Dad too! And everything I've been through! The 40 baths and cutting me to ribbons!"

Kamek laughed, "That's the spirit! Let's show him the power of Bowser's minions...and flat paper!"

Olivia sniffled, "Oh, you guys! Thank you! I was worried that I was going alone."

Mario told her, "Hey, if you stay with us, you'll never be going alone." He turned to Luigi, "Ever again."

Luigi smiled gratefully at his brother.

Olivia promised, "Lemme at him! I'm coming, brother. And this time it won't be so easy to drop a giant boulder on me..." She started to sob, remembering Bobby. Everyone held back their tears. She added, "For Bobby!"

Everyone agreed, "For Bobby!"
