To all readers-I'm reposting this again because I'm ready. I want everyone (especially one reader in particular) to that I don't like being rushed when I'm writing. I like to write at my own pace and have each chapter up to my standards. If you dont like the way I write any of my fanfiction, then you dont have to read it. Its strictly your choice whether or not you read any of my fanfiction at all.

As the eight digidestined and their digimon fell from the cliff, towards the river as Biyomon, Tentomon and Patamon fly towards their partners.
"Izzy!" Tentomon called out.
"T.K.!" shouted Patamon. All three tried to stop their partners from falling, but as it turns out, they were too heavy.
Palmon then wraps her arm around Mimi's waist, then used her vines to grab a hold of a rock, but then the rock she grabbed broke away from the cliff and they continued to fall with the others. The first ones to hit the water were Joe and Gomamon.
"Fish Bed!" shouted Gomamon as he summons his fish friends, telling them to swim together, forming a huge raft made of colorful fish underneath them. Everyone else was just about to hit the water but instead, they landed on the fish.
"Wow, this is some ride." said Tai with Agumon under his arms.
"I never want to fall from a cliff like that ever again." said Keiko as Renamon held onto her.
"Agreed." said Renamon.
"Wha…hey look out!" yelled Matt, looking up and seeing the cliff crumbling away and heading right towards them.
"Go!" shouted Gomamon, causing the fish to swim faster. As the rocks and Kuwagamon fell into the river, the splash made a huge wave behind them and closed in. The wave was so fast, it threw them out of the water and onto dry land.
"I knew we'd be okay." said Matt. "I wasn't worried."
"What was that a floating fish market?" asked Joe.
"Lucky for us, those fish were having a school reunion. Haha." joked Gomamon.
"Hmm?" Joe said, staring at his digimon.
"I'm kidding. Those fish are good friends of mine and I just asked them for a lift." Gomamon explained to him.
"And all these years I thought I was allergic to sea food, thank you." said Joe, before standing up. "Uh, I…I guess it's not Bukamon?"
"Gomamon now." said Gomamon.
"Gomamon?" asked Joe.
"And I guess that you're not Tokomon, are you?" T.K. asked Patamon.
"Mmm, now I'm Patamon." said Patamon.
"You're too tall to be Nyaromon anymore." said Keiko, tilting her head to the side as she looked up at her digimon.
"I'm Renamon." said Renamon, grinning shyly as she fiddled with her hands.
"It's all because we digivolved." Agumon said.
"I don't think that word is in my dictionary." said Tai as he stood in front of his digimon.
"So digivolving is what happens when they advance to the next level and become more powerful than before." said Izzy, now knowing what happened.
"Right, all of us digivolved. I went from Motimon to Tentomon." explained Tentomon.
"I digivolved from Yokomon to Biyomon." Biyomon said to Sora.
"First I was Tsunomon, then Gabumon." Gabumon said to Matt.
"And I changed from Tanemon to Palmon." Palmon said to Mimi.
"And me, I was Koromon. I digivolved into Agumon." said Agumon.
"Hmm, when you digivolved, you certainly got way bigger." said Tai. "Does this mean you're something different or are you still digimon?"
"Digimon, but I need your help Tai." Agumon said.
"Me? For what?" Tai asked, his hands behind his head.
"You see, digivolving is a very difficult process. In order to be successful, I had to share your energy." Agumon said to Tai.
"Really?" Tai asked in curiosity.
"I guess you guys don't run on batteries." Sora said to Biyomon as she bent down a little.
"Sure don't." Biyomon replied.
"But how do you access my energy?" asked Izzy.
"Even we don't know everything." said Tentomon.
"Thanks for my magical powers!" Palmon said, happily as she spun around Mimi.
"The whole thing makes my head spiny." said Mimi.
"So I helped you change, that's so cool." said T.K. as he examines Patamon.
"Yep…sure is." replied Patamon.
"Your fur is prettier and much softer than Miko's." said Keiko, stroking her digimon's fur.
"Thank you." said Renamon, hugging Keiko.
"My folks warned me about strangers." said Joe, crossing his arms and not looking at Gomamon.
"I'm not a stranger, Joe. I'm your friend for life." said Gomamon. After everyone understood what happened to their digimon, they then tried to figure out what to do next.
"Okay, come on what are we gonna do?" asked Matt.
"If only there was a payphone nearby. We could call the police, or fire department, or my mother." said Joe, listening people they could possibly call.
"But we don't even know where we are." said Tai.
"But we do know where we started, up there on that mountain." said Sora, turning as they all looked up at the mountain.
"I say we forget about going back and explore around here." suggested Matt.
"I like that idea." said Keiko.
"I'm not exploring anywhere; I say we stay right where we are." said Joe, with his arms still crossed.
"Yeah, let's wait for the giant bug to come and get us. We need to find a road leading someplace to get away from here." said Matt.
"Matt's right, but without a compass we don't even know which way is north." Izzy said in agreement.
"Wait I do." said Tentomon.
"Well, which way is it?" asked Izzy.
"It's the opposite of south." said Tentomon, making a terrible joke, causing Izzy to force a smile.
"I shouldn't wear these pants. They ride up when I do a lot of walking." Joe said to himself.
"You know, if we could get back to where we were before, we might at least find some clues as to why we're here in the first place." said Sora, thinking of a way to find out where they are.
"Wait, what if there's more monsters around like that big flying beetle." said Mimi.
"Yes, indeed." said Palmon.
"Those monsters don't scare me." said Matt, trying to sound cool.
"Okay, what doesn't scare you?" asked Keiko, causing Matt to look down at her with a scared look.
"Well?" asked Renamon, causing Matt to turn to her as well. "What are you scared of?"
"I'm not gonna tell you. You might tell Tai." said Matt.
"Come on, Matt…." said Renamon.
"You can tell us." said Keiko.
"We won't tell anyone." said Renamon as she and Keiko grinned at each other.
"Are there any humans?" Tai asked Agumon and the other digimon, not paying attention to what Matt said to Keiko.
"Humans? Others like you?" said Agumon, causing Tai to nod. "No, you're the first ever. There's never been anything but Digimon here."
"Okay, so you're all digimon, but what about these monsters? They're all digimon, too?" asked Tai.
"It's creepy and dangerous, and what happens when it gets dark?" asked Sora.
"Who says it ever gets dark here?" said Matt.
"That phenomenon is unnatural." said Izzy.
"And you call this natural?" asked Joe.
"Well we can't find out anything by sitting around here." said Tai and starts walking off with Agumon, Keiko and Renamon following behind him.
"And just where do you think you're going?" asked Matt.
"Up on that cliff." said Tai. "That's where I saw the ocean."
"The ocean?"
"Yep, there might be a boat or something." said Tai and walks down the river.
"Let's water ski home." said Matt, causing T.K. and Keiko to laugh.
"Funny." said Sora.
"At a time like this, I think we'd be far better off just to find some cave and hide." said Joe, protesting. "If we keep our eyes open and when a camp counselor comes…"
"Hey Joe! Everyone's leaving us!" Gomamon interrupted him, causing Joe to look at the others.
"Wait for me!" yelled Joe and runs after them. Walking along the river, the kids were getting acquainted with their digimon. "These trees are beautiful." said Sora, looking at the trees next to them.
"Yeah, they're really different and I just thought they were subtropical." said Izzy.
"Whatever they are, they're aggravating my hay fever." said Joe, sounding all stuffy.
"Hey Joe, is there anything you don't complain about?" asked Matt, causing Gabumon to chuckle.
"Digital Monsters? Exactly who came up with that name anyway?" Izzy asked Tentomon.
"Just call us digimon. We like that." said Tentomon.
"I only asked because your composition isn't at all machine-like." said Izzy.
"Oh really?" asked Tentomon and charges up his Super Shocker.
"Hey, watch it!" shouted Izzy, protecting his face with his arms.
"So Patamon, can you really fly?" T.K. asked.
"Of course." said Patamon and flaps his ears, but struggles to stay up.
"Wow, that's cool but you're going the wrong way." said T.K. as Patamon falls behind.
"I'm faster than that, watch." Biyomon bragged but flies at the same speed as Patamon.
"Wouldn't it be faster to walk?" asked Sora, walking with T.K.
"Palmon, I've been meaning to ask, who does your hair?" said Mimi.
"It's natural; I wake up in the morning like this." said Palmon.
"Wow! Maybe you can let me work with it!" Mimi said, causing Palmon to blush a very light shade of red.
"Do you think you put too much emphasis on appearance?" Palmon asked Mimi.
"Well honestly, I've never really thought about it." Mimi tells her.
"Honestly, I kinda like my hair the way it is." said Palmon.
"Renamon, you look like you could protect someone from a robber." said Keiko.
"You think so?" she asked.
"I know so." Keiko tells her, causing Renamon to blush.
"Once I get back, this is going to make one great story. Yep. But of course, not a single soul is ever going to believe me." Tai said, looking at Agumon.
"That Kuwagamon back there, he was huge." said Izzy.
"And he's not the only one." assured Tentomon.
"(Sniffs) Aw, nothing like the ocean." said Gabumon, smelling the salt in the air.
"Everybody in the water!" shouted a laughing Gomamon.
"Let's build a giant sandcastle." said T.K.
"I'll help with the moat." said Sakura.
"Oh, I forgot my bathing suit." said Mimi.
"Wait a minute, listen." said Matt as they heard a ringing sound. "What's that?"
"A phone." Tai softly said, looking at the direction of the ringing sound.
"Either that or we're all hearing things." said Sora as she stood behind Tai. When they arrived at the beach, they discovered numerous telephone booths lined up next to each other.
"I told you all we needed was a phone! We're saved!" Joe cheered as they all ran over to the phones. Once they reached the first phone booth, the ringing stops.
"Why'd it stop ringing, Tai?" asked Agumon.
"Wrong number?" He tells him.
"Well, that's bizarre." said Sora.
"It's really bizarre." said Keiko in agreement.
"My theory is aliens. They set these phone booths out as a trap." said Izzy.
"If we can find a place that delivers, let's order pizza." said Matt as he, T.K., Patamon and Gabumon try to use the phone.
"Whatever you get, no anchovies for me." Mimi said to Matt.
"Question is, what are these doing here at the beach?" asked Sora.
"So people can call their parents for a ride home." said Joe.
"Parents? What exactly is a 'parents'?" Gomamon asked Joe and the others. There was a long silence between the kids and the digimon until Joe broke it.
"That's it, I'm out of here." said Joe.
"Does anyone have loose change?" asked Tai, holding out his hand.
"Why?" asked Sora.
"Obviously, I'm gonna a phone call to get some help." he answered.
"Ah here, Tai, use my phone card." said Izzy, handing him the card. "The aliens can bill me. Here."
"Maybe there's a quarter in one of the slots." said T.K.
"I'm calling daddy." said Mimi as she runs to an open booth.
"I'm going to hook up to the internet." said Izzy as he walks away from Tai, Sora, Keiko, Agumon, Biyomon and Renamon at the first booth.
"I'm calling collect." said Matt.
"Dibs on booth four." said Sora.
"Hey guys, wait for me. Come on." said Joe as Tai tries the first number and waits for someone to answer.
"Hello? Hey mom, it me and…" Tai start to say.
"At the tone, the time will be 45 miles per hour…and 90 seconds." said the operator.
"Something's wrong or mom's flipped." said Tai, staring at the phone, hearing what it said to him.
"Mom and Dad weren't home?" asked Keiko.
"I didn't even get mom on the phone." Tai tells her.
"I miss Kari." Keiko said sadly, looking down at her feet. "I was really hoping to talk to her."
"Who's Kari?" asked Renamon and Agumon.
"Kari's our sister." said Tai.
"And she's my twin sister, even though I'm younger than Kari by two minutes." Keiko added.
"How would you know that?" asked Tai.
"Mom told us when we asked her for our school project." said Keiko.
"Wow. I never knew that." Renamon said in awe.
"No one does unless they asked." said Keiko.
"Unless you get their names mixed up by accident." said Tai.
"Only happened once and that was when we both started school, Tai." said Keiko.
"Tomorrow's forecast calls for clear skies with occasional ice cream." the operator tells Mimi.
"What do you wear for that?" asked Mimi.
"This number only exists in your imagination. Please hang up…and don't call back." said the operator in Matt's phone.
"What planet did I dial?" asked Matt.
"I'm telling you, it's a twisted alien joke." said Izzy, after hearing what the operator said to him.
"Why don't you try that one over there?" asked Tentomon.
"I don't think it gets any better." said Biyomon.
"The telephones are working in your area. Hang up and dial the next day." the operator tells Sora.
"Any luck?" Tai asked Sora.
"No." she replied.
"Weird. I've got a strange feeling about this." said Tai. Joe, however, was still trying to get the phones to work.
"Maybe this one will." he said, dialing another number.
"To leave a message, press one now. To leave a finger print, press two now. $15 for the next three minutes." said the operator.
"Okay, next one!" said Joe, vastly determined to get a real answer.
"Very curious, does Joe always behave like this?" asked Izzy.
"Every single day." said Tai.
"He's not going to get through even if he does keep trying to call someone." said Keiko.
"Yeah, but no matter what number or how many times he dials, those phones aren't going to work." said Matt, watching Joe while leaning against the boulder.
"Well, I'm going to keep searching for a boat or something." said Tai as he gets up.
"Hey, wait a minute. Even though we can't call out of here, there's always a chance someone will call us." said Matt.
"He's got a point, Tai." said Keiko.
"It's a waste of time of doing nothing but sitting here." said Tai.
"I'm going to stay here for a while and see if anyone calls, besides everyone could use a little rest." said Matt.
"And I'm getting pretty hungry too." Izzy added.
"Really hungry." said Keiko, grabbing her stomach.
"You know why? We haven't eaten all day." said Tai. "Okay, break time everybody!"
"(Sighs) Does anyone have any food? I think all I have is…Huh?" said Sora as she rediscovered the device on her pink belt. "It's that gadget that fell out of the sky at camp."
"I forgot about those weird gizmos." said Tai and grabs his from under his short on his brown belt.
"If anyone's got a hot pink one, I'll trade." said Mimi, seeing her digivice on the strap on of her bag.
"I don't think anyone has that color, Mimi." said Keiko.
"What are they anyway?" asked T.K. as both he and Keiko looked closely at theirs.
"We wouldn't have them if they weren't important." said Matt.
"If I could just take mine apart." said Izzy but then was interrupted by his stomach growling after he took his digivice off his computer bag. "That is, of course, after I get something to eat. I'm really famished."
"Well, the only thing I've got is my emergency supplies. It's got a first aid kit, some bandages and some medicine but that's about all I've got." said Sora.
"I have my laptop, a digital camera, oh and I've got a small cell phone. Of course, not one of them has worked since we got here." said Izzy.
"I can't believe you dragged all that computer stuff to summer camp." said Tai.
"And what do you have?" asked Izzy.
"Let's see…all I have is my mini telescope."
"Sorry, but I don't have anything to eat either. What about you, Keiko?" asked Matt.
"Well…" she said as she takes off her backpack and dumps out the contents. "I have my water bottle, a couple of apples, a book, a solar power lantern, a hoodie in case I get cold and snacks."
"Hey, check out what I've got. Check it out." said T.K. with his digivice on his bag and opens it to reveal candy, chips and cookies.
"Wow, look at all those goodies. Why don't you both be good little kids and share them with dear sweet Mimi." said Mimi.
"Aw, you don't have to be so nice, Mimi. I'm happy to share. You're the best." said T.K., then turns to Matt. "Isn't she cute?"
"Forget it." said Matt.
"I don't mind sharing." said Keiko.
"I'm so hungry, I can eat a horse." said Tai.
"You'll eat anything, Tai." said Keiko.
"I'd settle for a small cow." said Izzy.
"Mimi, what do you have in that big bag? Some hairbrushes and makeup?" asked Sora.
"Um, well let's take a look. Here's a compass, cooking fuel, a flashlight, one of those knives with all the things, and some other stuff." said Mimi as she showed them what she had.
"Why didn't you tell us you had a compass when we needed one?" Matt asked her.
"I thought it might be kinda fun to see how far we could get without one. Besides, it's broken." said Mimi.
"So much to finding our way out of here." said Tai.
"Although, we could use the cooking fuel to make a signal fire." said Matt.
"That's true or I guess we could barbeque some telephones." said Sora.
"Oh boy, check out the genius. See he's trying to call the telephone repairman because the telephones don't work. Problem is….look." said Tai, seeing that Joe was holding the emergency food over his shoulder. "Joe's got the emergency food, no way! Joe! Hey Joe, you've got all the food!"
"Hey, don't you know its rude to interrupt someone when they're on the phone?" Joe asked as he turned around.
"But that bag…" said Izzy.
"This? I brought this to give to Mimi. Today was her day to carry the bag." said Joe.
"Think he likes ya." said Palmon.
"No way!" said Mimi and Joe walks over with the bag.
"Mimi, you have got to stop thinking of yourself and do something to help someone else for once." said Joe. "Take a little responsibility!"
"But that bag is too heavy for me." Mimi tells him.
"Listen, you never hear me complaining." said Joe.
"Guys, guys, listen the most important thing now is we've got some food to eat. So let's sit down and have some lunch." said Tai as Sora and Keiko nodded.
"Okay, let's figure this out. There's eight people in the group times three meals. That comes to…" said Joe.
"72 meals." said Izzy.
"Okay, so split evenly between us, we have, uh…" said Joe.
"Enough food for three days." said Izzy.
"Exactly…right." said Joe.
"But you guys, when you add in the digimon, we only have enough for about half an hour." said Sora.
"That's right." Joe said, crestfallen.
"It's no problem at all, we digimon hunt and forage for ourselves." said Gabumon as the other digimon agreed.
"No need to add us in your calculations." said Izzy.
"Are you sure, Biyomon?" asked Sora.
"Absolutely." replied Biyomon. "We can do alright for ourselves."
"Okay, now that's taken care of. Let's divide this among the eight people that are here." said Joe as Agumon and Tai were sitting a ways from the group.
"This is great, I can eat a dozen of these." said Tai as he and Agumon eat away.
"Figures that he would be the first one to eat before us." said Keiko as Renamon shakes her head.
"I feel bad for you." said Renamon.
"Someone always does for me and Kari." said Keiko.
"Just what do you think you're doing?" asked Joe.
"I'm glad we never hear you complaining." said Tai.
"You people make me crazy." Joe said quietly. Meanwhile, Gomamon was lounging in the ocean when he hears a loud roar. Biyomon stands up with an angry look on her face.
"Now what's the matter?" Sora asked.
"Trouble." she replied and then a large water spout appears out of the sand, crashing a pay phone.
"What's that?" asked Tai as the payphones crashed into the ground. The sand started to rise, revealing a huge shell to come out of it.
"Shellmon!" shouted Tentomon.
"What's a Shellmon?" asked Izzy.
"Something that gets mad for no reason!" said Tentomon as Shellmon comes out of his shell.
"Attacked by two digital monsters in the same day. And doesn't Shellmon know I'm allergic to shellfish?" said Joe as Shellmon begins to attack them.
"Have you ever really gotten tested for that allergy?" asked Keiko.
"No." he tells her.
"Then how would you know if you're allergic to shellfish?" asked Renamon, crossing her arms.
"Good point." said Joe, going over to the cliff and starts climbing it. "Everybody, up here!" Suddenly Shellmon shoots water out of his head and aims it at the cliff, causing Joe to fall.
"Joe!" shouted Gomamon but was blasted by water from Shellmon.
"Digimon, attack!" shouted Agumon as he and the others ran towards Shellmon.
"Agumon, you show him!" yelled Tai.
"Pepper Breath!" yelled Agumon, firing a fireball at Shellmon, making contact with his face.
"Blue Blaster!" shouted Gabumon, about to send his attack but couldn't.
"Spiral Twister! Super Shocker! Diamond Storm!" Biyomon, Tentomon and Renamon tried their attacks but had the same problem.
"What's happening to them?" asked Izzy.
"They look like they've lost their powers." said Matt. Shellmon then used Shell Pressure and aims it at the five digimon. "Agumon!" shouted Tai as Agumon jumps back up and runs at Shellmon.
"Boom Bubble! Poison Ivy!" shouted Patamon and Palmon, trying their attacks but got the same results. The only one who was able to fight was Agumon.
"Go get him, Agumon!" shouted Tai.
"Why is it only Agumon?" asked Izzy.
"We're just too hungry." said Tentomon.
"Poor Renamon." said Keiko, holding her digimon in her arms.
"Gabumon." said Matt with concern in his voice.
"I just don't have any strength." Gabumon tells him.
"That's it; Agumon was the only one who had anything to eat." said Sora, holding Biyomon.
"Now I see." said Izzy.
"Our digimon need food in order to fight." said Matt.
"Agumon! Looks like it's just you and me now!" shouted Tai.
"Then give me a diversion." said Agumon.
"Hey Shellmon! Ugly! Over here!" yelled Tai.
"No, don't!" shouted Sora.
"Tai, come back!" shouted Keiko as Agumon fired another attack.
"This would work." said Tai was as he grabs a metal pole from one of the broken payphones when a tentacle wraps around his waist and slams his hand on top of Agumon, trapping him.
"Hold on Tai!" shouted Agumon, causing Shellmon press down hard on him with his hand and attacks the others again.
"Watch out! He's gonna get everyone! And there's nothing I can do!" Tai cried out as Shellmon tightens his grip.
"Tai, no! Digivolve!" shouted Agumon and starts to glow with Tai's digivice.
"What's going on?" asked Tai as light glowed under Shellmon's hand.
"Agumon digivolve to…Greymon!" shouted Greymon, a 20-foot-tall dinosaur with a brown antler-like helmet and blue strips all over his body.
"Wow, he did it again. Now he's Greymon." said Tai after being tossed to the ground.
"That's one big dino." commented Keiko as her eyes went wide and the two Champion level digimon begin to fight.
"Now you're getting him, Greymon." said Tai. Shellmon fires Hydro Pressure while Greymon shoots flames from his mouth, causing steam to be created. Greymon then gets under Shellmon and tosses him into the air.
"Digi Nova Blast! Rah!" shouted Greymon, sending an even bigger fireball at Shellmon, blasting him through the air and into the ocean. Once Shellmon was in the ocean, Greymon goes back to being Agumon. "That was fantastic distance." said Felicity. "He's actually better than me at archery."
"Agumon, are you alright?" asked Tai. "You poor little guy. Agumon."
"Tai? Tai! Do you have anything to eat?" Agumon asked. After everyone recovered from the fight, Joe went back to the busted-up payphones.
"Hello? Come on, I know you're there! Operator? Operator?" Joe shouted frantically into the phone.
"There's no reason to stay here now." said Tai.
"Who wants to break the news to Joe?" asked Matt.
"I think you or Tai should tell him." said Keiko.
"But I don't think he will listen to one of us though." said Renamon.
"If you want some more, just say so." said Sora as the Digimon quickly ate.
"Shellmon wasn't destroyed, he was just temporarily removed." said Izzy. "We should pack up and leave before he decides to come back for round 2."
"Good idea." said Matt.
"In that case, we should go right back to the forest." said Joe. "Because if anyone is looking for us, that's the place they'll go."
"Joe, I said this before. We fell off a cliff and floated down a river to get here and getting back there is a really big job." Sora told him.
"And Kuwagamon." Mimi added.
"Now listen, logically speaking, if there are phones here then there must be people to use them. So I think it makes sense we should find those people." said Izzy.
"That makes sense." said Joe.
"It certainly does." said Sora.
"Alright, let's all get going." said Tai.
"Anywhere you go, I go Tai." said Agumon. "You just pick the direction."
"You said it, Agumon." said Keiko.
"Let's get out of this place." said Tai.
"And let the monsters beware." said Matt.
"Well, my plan is to avoid all monsters." said Joe.
"Ok, here we go." said Tai.
"Digimon!" yelled all eight digimon, walking with their partners into the forest.
