To all readers-I'm reposting this again because I'm ready. I want everyone (especially one reader in particular) to that I don't like being rushed when I'm writing. I like to write at my own pace and have each chapter up to my standards. If you dont like the way I write any of my fanfiction, then you dont have to read it. Its strictly your choice whether or not you read any of my fanfiction at all.
I DONT OWN DIGIMON: DIGITAL MONSTERS! I ONLY OWN THE OC AND THE OC ALONE!
Shoutouts:
The digidestined were now walking through the forest full of signs. "Hey!" said Sora, causing everyone to look up.
"Did you hear that?" asked Tai.
"What's that sound?" asked Keiko. Everyone looks to see some kind of black gear in the sky.
"It seems to be some sort of aircraft." said Matt.
"It looked like a big flying gear." said Sora.
"Admit it; my alien theory is becoming more plausible." said Izzy.
"Yeah, they hit us with an anti-gravity ray to make us all crooked or maybe that sign's just crooked." said Joe as T.K. trips on a root.
"T.K." said Sora as Tai picks him up.
"That was scary." said T.K.
"Watch it." said Matt.
"That could have been a snake or worse." said Tai.
"Aww, I'm sorry. Hey Biyomon, are they're really snakes here?" asked T.K.
"No, just giant flying killer bugs and other unpleasant Digimon." Biyomon replied.
"Don't worry, T.K. I'll take care of them!" said Patamon, sounding brave.
"And I got your back, Keiko." said Renamon, glaring at invisible digimon who would dare cross her path.
"Thanks Renamon." said Keiko, smiling as T.K. giggles.
"Okay, now that that's settled, let's get going." said Sora.
"Nothing's settled and where would we go? We don't even know where we are." said Matt.
"This is silly. I say we keep moving and see if we can find any signs of intelligent life here." said Tai.
"Hey, wait a minute; is he saying that Digimon are not intelligent? Is that what he's saying?" asked Biyomon, rubbing her head against Sora's legs.
"Not at all, but I think Tai's right. We need to keep moving in hopes of finding out where we are. We need to stay calm and stick together. Let's remember, we're in this together." Sora said to Biyomon.
"Together sounds good." said Biyomon.
"We can do it; this will take teamwork and I'm sure we'll figure out exactly where we are and how to get back. There's no point in splitting up because then once someone did figure it out…" Sora said but was then interrupted.
"Hey Sora, open your eyes." Biyomon tells her. Sora then looks to see that everyone walking away from her.
"Oh, thanks a lot for waiting!" she shouted after them.
"Moving right along folks, keep it moving. Our next stop on the tour will be the Forest of Irrelevant Road Signs. No pictures please." said Matt, making a joke as they continued to walk through the forest while Sora holds Biyomon's wing.
"We're lost and these guys are making jokes." thought Sora.
"Hey, hold up." said Joe. "My shoelace is broken.
"You need new shoes. Oh, new shoes." said Mimi as she starts thinking about new shoes.
"Look. Telephone poles! I say we follow them and see where they lead." said Matt.
"They'll just lead to trouble." said Joe.
"Look, it's the alien saucer again." said Izzy, spotting a flying gear heading for a mountain.
"It's a funny looking alien saucer." said Keiko.
"And it's heading for a close encounter." Matt added as it crashes into the mountain.
"Whats an 'alien saucer'?" asked Renamon.
"Beats me." said Patamon.
The group starts walking through the desert, following the telephone poles. "Boy, it's so hot, I can feel the heat coming up through my socks." whined T.K.
"Well T.K. maybe you should put your shoes back on." said Matt.
"I feel like I'm being cooked in the oven." Keiko complained as she looks up at Tai.
"Don't even go there, Keiko." he tells her, knowing exactly what she was going to ask him.
"You don't know what I was even gonna ask you, Tai." said Keiko, glaring at him.
"That's because I know you and Kari very well to know these kind of things." said Tai.
"Tai!" groaned Keiko.
"Oh, this hot desert air is destroying my complexion. How much further is it?" asked Mimi.
"Is that all you're worried about, Mimi?" Joe asked her. "We'll be lucky if we even survive this hike."
"Hey, does anyone besides me notice these telephone poles have no connection wires?" asked Sora, getting everyone's attention.
"She's right! I wonder if these are actually telephone poles. Maybe they're some odd alien equipment." said Izzy.
"Hey, remember those telephone booths and the street car?" Mimi asked.
"Yeah…what about them?" Izzy asked.
"Oh, nothing. I was just wondering if anyone else remembered." said Mimi, cheerfully.
"That's it, doomed!" shouted Joe as he starts freaking out again. "The heat has baked our brains and we're all gonna end up like roasted piglets!"
"Calm down, Joe. We've been walking for two minutes." said Izzy.
"I don't know about being roasted piglets…" said Keiko. "But I'd say that the heat has officially gone to your head, Joe."
"If our brains were baked, shouldn't something have happen to us?" asked Renamon.
"It would cause us to have a heat stroke, Renamon." Izzy explained.
"Izzy! Come here, Izzy." said Tentomon, getting the boy's attention. "I think we need to find some shade for Joe and quick."
"Either that or an umbrella." said Renamon in agreement, hearing what Tentomon said.
"Now I want an umbrella." said Keiko.
Mimi walks up behind Joe, humming happily and said, "You won't believe what's happened to my favorite watch. The sun's melted the numbers right off." She then holds up another compass.
"Mimi, for someone who hates hiking, you sure do have a lot of compasses." Tai commented and suddenly the compass starts moving really fast. "Of course, nothing of hers has actually worked."
"Oh, this dirt contains small traces of metal which could affect the compass needle." said Izzy.
"Oh well, I'm always late anyway." said Mimi.
"This is one weird world and I don't like it one little bit." said Sora as she looks up at the sky.
"I like it a little bit." said Keiko. "I wouldn't mind coming here for a vacation though."
"Says you." muttered Tai.
"I think we should start looking for water, guys. Otherwise we could dehydrate in all this heat." said Izzy.
"Yeah but we're doing okay for now, aren't we?" asked Tai but then Mimi starts screaming into the sky.
"HELP! SOMEBODY PLEASE FIND US! HELP!" screamed Mimi.
Meanwhile, the black gear that flew towards the mountain starts working its way through when a fiery looking digimon hears something. Back in the desert, the digidestined continued their search for water. "I've taken a soil sample, measured the barometric pressure and analyzed the relative humidity." said Izzy.
"And just what the heck did you find out?" asked Sora.
"It's really, really…hot." said Izzy.
"Just hang on a little longer. Don't give up now." said Tai. Palmon starts panting heavily as she walks in front of Mimi.
"We'll be okay. Just keep moving along." she tells her.
"My head is baking. Of this keeps going on for too long, I'm going to end up like a wilted salad." said Palmon. Just then, Mimi takes off her cowboy hat and shakes her hair.
"Here, you wear my hat for a while. You need more than I do." said Mimi, placing her hat on Palmon's head.
"Thank you, Mimi." said Palmon.
"P.U. what's that yucky smell?" asked T.K.
"Uh, here's a thought….now you know why they called them sweat socks." said Matt.
"Gross." said Renamon.
"Disgusting." said Keiko.
"This beach would be at least more popular with a couple more things." said Mimi. "Like an ocean, a gentle breeze, hunky lifeguards."
"I don't like where this is going." said Keiko, making a face.
"Neither do I, but let her dream." said Matt.
"It's a weird dream that she's having." said Renamon.
"Hold it! I have to stop." said Biyomon, not going any further. "I just don't think I can go any faster."
"You have to stay positive." said Sora. "Let's all pretend that it's raining."
"Yeah! That's a great idea. I just adore the rain." said Biyomon as she rubbed against Sora's legs again.
"Yeah, me too, but it's time for a reality check this isn't getting any better. It might be a good idea to turn around and get out of this desert right now." said Matt as Tai walks up beside him.
"You mean before we all have a power outage?" asked Tentomon. "I'll vote for that."
"Wait…hold on a second everybody. Unless I'm seeing what I think I'm seeing…" Tai started saying.
"What is it, Tai?" asked Izzy.
"It's not a mirage, its real water!" Tai exclaimed, looking through his mini telescope.
"Water?" repeated Biyomon, not believing what she heard.
"This is fantastic! All we need now are some lemons, sugar and some big fat ice cubes!" cheered Joe.
"Don't ruin it for me." Joe tells her.
"That looks like a village. Maybe we'll find people there." said Izzy.
"And shade." said Palmon.
"Maybe they have hats for sale. Hang on." Mimi said to her.
"Water and food!" exclaimed T.K. and Keiko.
"I'm hungry enough to eat broccoli." said T.K.
"Mm….broccoli." said Keiko.
"What's broccoli? Is that a joke?" asked Patamon.
"I hope it's a joke." said Renamon.
"Great, let's get out of the desert." said Tai as they made their way to the village.
Meanwhile, the black gear continues to loosen its way from out, breaking away through the rocks and embedding itself in the fire digimon. When the digidestined get to the village, they see that it was completely inhabited by a Yokomon. "From so far away, everything looks so big." said Tai.
"But they're so cute and tiny." said Mimi.
"Okay, question; who here knows where we can get a drink?" Biyomon asked the Yokomon.
"And just what do giant digimon drink?" asked one of the Yokomon.
"Me? I'm no digimon." said Sora, pointing to herself.
"My friend Sora here is what's known as a human being." Biyomon explained to the Yokomon. "Yes, we know they look funny but in spite of all this, they're all actually very nice."
"What's a human being? If you're not digimon, then what are you doing in Digi-world?" The Yokomon asked the eight children.
"This is great. There's no way we all be about to fit inside this place." said Joe.
"Relax Joe, at least the natives here are friendly." said Matt.
"Oh my, I would just love to take one home and put it on my bed with all my other stuffed animals." Mimi said cheerfully.
"How many stuffed animals do you have?" asked Renamon.
"Um…let's see, I have one, two, three…." said Mimi as she counted the stuffed animals she had.
"You shouldn't have asked her that, Renamon." said Keiko.
"Believe me, I already regret asking her that." sighed Renamon as Mimi continued counting the number of stuffed animals she has.
"There she goes again. Do you think Mimi hears the same thing we hear?" asked Matt. "I'm not sure any more."
"If she didn't then she must have a lot of empty space in her head." said Felicity.
"Maybe she's an alien spy." said Izzy.
"T.K.'s tired and hungry." Patamon said to the Yokomon.
"He's not the only one." said Joe with his head hanging.
"Biyomon, just when did you digivolve?" asked Yokomon.
"When I met Sora, we share a special bond is magical." said Biyomon while Sora was sitting down against one of the tiny huts.
"You don't talk like us anymore. Is that how all Biyomon talk?" asked another Yokomon.
"No, it's how the big ones talk. I suppose I just picked it up from Sora. She's a wonderful human being and I've already learned a lot from her." said Biyomon, making Sora smile.
"We still don't understand how you digivolved. How is it that being around human beings that makes it happen?" asked the Yokomon.
"Sora needed me, I had to protect her." said Biyomon.
"She had to protect me? Wait a sec, now I get that's why she's always following me. When Tai needed him, Agumon digivolved into Greymon to protect him and Garurumon did the same for Matt. They digivolve for us. (Chuckling) We're really lucky kids." said Sora.
"Sora, we're invited to have dinner with the Yokos." Biyomon said to her. "They said they're willing to share their food with all of us."
"Oh wow." said Sora.
Everyone started cheering. "Let's see hands if you want lemonade." said Joe and hands were raised.
"I wonder what Yokomon eat." said T.K.
"I'll take a cheeseburger, fries and a shake." said Tai.
"I hope they have sandwiches." said Keiko.
"I wonder what they will be serving, perhaps some bone with meat, lettuce topped with fish or…" Izzy thought to himself until T.K shouted something.
"Water!" shouted T.K. "Hey, look everybody. A fresh water fountain."
"Yay! I can finally have water for my water bottle!" Keiko exclaimed.
"All the water here is piped in from a spring at Mihirashi Mountain. It's the best water in the world." said a Yokomon.
"Forget the world, Mt. Mihirashi water is the best in the galaxy." said Tentomon.
"Where's Mt. Mihirashi?" asked T.K. and Keiko.
"It's over there!" said another Yokomon.
"Hey, that's a live volcano!" said T.K.
"Yes, but the heat boils away all the germs." said Yokomon.
Meanwhile, on the mountain, the fiery digimon continues to groan in pain from where the black gear entered him. "If I'm not mistaken, that noise proceeds a giant eruption." said Izzy.
Back in the village, the digidestined were gathered around the fountain but then it erupts with lava. "That's cool but I still didn't get a drink." said T.K.
"And I didn't get to fill up my water bottle." said Keiko.
"What is happening?" asked Tai.
"The water evaporated but that's okay because the lake is full of water." said a Yokomon.
"I'll check it out." said Tai and runs over to the lake.
"Let's all go." said Matt and follows him. Once they reached the lake, they all see that the water in the lake is gone. "The water's all gone." said Izzy.
"Goodness, where did it all go?" asked Mimi.
"Someone pulled the plug." said T.K.
"That must be a pretty big plug." said Keiko.
"All right, let's not panic." said Tai.
The digidestined and the Yokomon tried to get water from a well as Tai throws down a bucket. "Dry as a bone." said Matt.
"I won't give up." said Tai and pulls up the bucket, only to find that the rope was burned off.
"Look, Tai's doing a little dance for us." said Mimi.
"I don't think that's a dance, Mimi." said Keiko, seeing the look on her brother's face.
"Or any kind of dance at all…" said Renamon.
"Is that supposed to stop the fire or bring down the rain?" she asked and Keiko shrugged her shoulders.
"If that's supposed to bring rain, then where's the rain?" asked Renamon.
"Your guess is as good as mine." answered Keiko.
"Hey, do you guys remember that flying gear we saw earlier?" asked Matt.
"It crashed right into a hill side." said Izzy.
"Great, of all the hill sides, the gear crashes into Mihirashi Mountain." said Sora.
"That's where the water comes from." said Joe.
"That's right. The water comes from a lake on top of Mt. Mihirashi so a gear could affect our water supply." said the Yokomon. "We don't dare go up there. The mountain is guarded by a fiery digimon called Meramon. He's hideously dangerous."
"I want a closer look at that mountain. You say this character, Meramon is a fiery digimon…what does he look like?" asked Tai as he looks through his mini telescope at Mihirashi Mountain, but then sees something. "Never mind, there he is! He's coming our way!"
"He burns everything he touches! He never comes down off the mountain though; this is very strange behavior for him." said the Yokomon. Meramon continues to slide down the mountain towards the Yokomon village, screaming about something.
"Ah, I'm burning! Too hot!" yelled Meramon.
"Meramon is a fiery digimon. There's no reason he should be in pain from his own flames….that's his nature." said Palmon as they watched Meramon slide down the mountain.
"This is weird. He's crying." said Tai.
"Uh burning!" screamed Meramon.
"It sounds like he's out of his mind in pain." said Sora.
"What do we do?" asked Tai.
"Burning! Burning! Burning!" Meramon screams again.
"Look! He's coming straight towards the village." said Sora.
"Okay everybody. We need to decide on what we're going to do." said a Yokomon. "He's already reached the foot of the mountain and entered the forest."
"Everybody freeze. Stay very still." said Sora as Meramon reached the forest.
"You're gonna need more than sunscreen to stop me!" said Meramon.
"Don't move a muscle." said Sora.
"Burn! Burn! Burn!" shouted Meramon as he exited the forest.
"Ah! Unfreeze! And run!" shouted Tai. As Meramon gets closer to the village, everyone begins to run away and hide in the boat in the dried-up lake.
"Come on, keep it moving." said Tai as he, Keiko and Sora wait at the giant hole in the boat as the Yokomon enter through it.
"All the way to the rear." said Sora.
"Okay, settle down! There's room for all of you! Will you please stop squirming?" yelled Matt as he, Gabumon, Mimi and Palmon got everyone to the top of the ship.
"Well, here's the next batch, Matt." said Joe as he and Gomamon got the Yokomon through the door.
"Easy now! You'll be okay!" said Tai as Izzy, Tentomon, T.K., Patamon and the Yokomon enter the ship.
"Who's not here?" asked Sora and sees that Biyomon wasn't there with her. "This is bad. Come on, come on."
"Everyone keep moving now!" Biyomon tells them. "Just follow the one in front of you."
"Biyomon!" shouted Sora. "Save yourself! Come down while there's still time!"
"I can't until all my friends are safe, Sora!" said Biyomon.
"Alright! I suppose I'll just have to come up there after you then." said Sora and runs up to Biyomon.
"Hurry!" said Tai just as Sora runs past him. "Hey Sora, you'll never make it!"
"Where's Sora going?" asked Joe.
"Sora, come back!" said Matt.
"Sora!" shouted Keiko and Renamon.
"Oh good…they're all safe now." said Biyomon as the last Yokomon runs towards the ship, closing her eyes. Sora continues to run towards Biyomon, but then sees Meramon appeared behind her.
"Watch out! Biyomon, he's right behind you!" shouted Sora, causing Biyomon to turn and face Meramon.
"Go away, Meramon! Leave us alone. We're not bothering you!" shouted Biyomon but then Meramon hits her, knocking her out of the sky and sending her down into the dried-up lake.
"Biyo! Biyo! I'm coming, Biyo!" yelled Sora as she jumps up and catches a rolling Biyomon in her arms before she hits the ground. "Are you okay?"
"Sure. I hope that I never do that again, it wasn't very fun." said Biyomon. "Thank you for coming to rescue me."
"Don't mention it. That's what a friend is for." said Sora.
"You can say that again. My friend." said Biyomon, happily. Meanwhile, Meramon opens up the palm of his fiery hand, causing a fireball to form at the center.
"Uh-oh! We're still in great danger, Sora. You stay here, it's time for me to rescue you now!" said Biyomon as she flies out of Sora's arms. "You think you're really hot stuff but you're in trouble now! Spiral Twister!"
"Is that the best you've got, weakling?" shouted Meramon.
"We've got to help her out. He's too big enough to handle." said Tai.
"Right."
"Oh, no! She's hit! Biyomon!" shouted Sora as she sadly falls to her knees while Biyomon falls to the ground.
"Come on, everybody. We can take that monster!" shouted Tai.
"Yeah, this will take some teamwork." said Izzy.
"I'm burning, give me your best shot." said Meramon.
"Pepper Breath!"
"Super Shocker!"
"Blue Blaster!"
"Boom Bubble! Pah!"
Agumon, Tentomon, Gabumon and Patamon fired their attacks at Meramon, only causing him to grow bigger. "We need a fire extinguisher." said Joe.
"Too bad none of us have ever thought of bringing that with us." said Keiko.
"That made him bigger." said Matt.
"Why do I suffer so?" Meramon asked.
"If we knew why he was crying, it might help to stop him." said Tai.
"Well, fire's not affecting him so I'm guessing it's not heartburn." said Izzy.
"Maybe this monster just has growing pains." said Matt.
"Growing pains?" asked Izzy.
"Matt, this it is not a time to joke." said Joe.
"Get ready! Here I come!" bellowed Meramon, sliding down the hill. Meanwhile Biyomon recovered from Meramon's attack and sees him going after the others. "Sora? We're all in trouble now. Meramon cannot be allowed to win. My friends need my help now." said Biyomon and Sora's digivice begins to glow.
"Biyomon digivolve to…Birdramon!" shouted Birdramon, changing into a giant phoenix like digimon. Meramon continued to slide down the hill towards the others until Birdramon pushes him back up.
"No!" shouted Sora.
"We'll be safe now. Biyomon digivolved to rescue us." said Sora as Birdramon fights Meramon.
"What's wrong, Birdramon? Are you afraid of me?" taunted Meramon. "Let's fight! Here, have a ball!"
Meramon fires a fireball right at Birdramon's back. "Don't turn your back!" shouted Sora. Birdramon screeches as she flies closer to Meramon as he throws more fireballs at her.
"Birdramon, move away!" yelled Sora. Birdramon flies higher up and crossed her wings.
"Meteor Wing!" screeched Birdramon, sending huge fireballs out from her wings, hitting Meramon in the chest, causing the black gear that embedded him to fly out and shatter in the sky.
"It was the gear!" exclaimed Izzy, realizing why Meramon attacked them. "It made him crazy."
"I supposed if you had a big black gear stuck inside you, you'd act a little crazy too." said Matt. "The poor guy."
"Yeah! Biyomon did it!" cheered T.K. and Keiko as Birdramon de-digivolves back into Biyomon, who then flies down to Sora.
"Wow. Every time I'm in danger, Biyomon comes to my rescue. That's what I call a friend." said Sora.
"Are you alright? Oh, Sora!" said Biyomon as she flies into her arms.
"Oh, B. I was so worried about you. You were great. I can't begin to tell you how proud I am of you." said Sora as she hugged her.
"I wasn't the least bit afraid." said Biyomon. "All I could think about was saving you…well, you know."
Afterwards, everyone checked on Meramon. "Meramon, why did you attacked our village?" asked a Yokomon.
"I couldn't stop myself." said Meramon with a hand to his head.
"That could have been awful for you." said another Yokomon. "If you couldn't control yourself, who was controlling you?"
"The last thing I remember was being hit by that gear." Meramon said to the Yokomon, the kids and their digimon
"Well, we're just happy to see you back to normal. I hope nothing like this happens again. You're needed to protect Mt. Mihirashi." said the Yokomon and Meramon starts running back to Mt. Mihirashi. "Good bye, Meramon may you always stay well. Good bye and please, try not to burn down our village anymore. Okay?"
"Hey, I just remembered never got that dinner we promised you." said Biyomon, still in Sora's arms. "You must be starving."
"My tummy's ready for some action." said T.K.
"I'm ready to eat anything right now." said Keiko.
Later that day, the eight digidestined are given some kind of seeds in a wooden bowl, but were unsure if it was edible. "What is this stuff?" asked Tai.
"Be polite and just eat it." said Mimi. "A gracious guest never insults his host's cooking."
"I can't tell if it was even been cooked." he said, looking up.
"Eat as much as you want, we have more than enough for seconds." said Biyomon.
"Yeah, there's probably a good reason for that." said Joe.
"You know, that's exactly what I was afraid you were going to say." said Sora.
"It smells better than broccoli." said T.K., looking down at what he had in his hands. "Who knows? It might taste better."
"It might taste better than green beans." said Keiko.
"What are green beans?" asked Renamon.
"Has anyone noticed we talk a lot about food?" asked Matt.
"Nah, I'm not hungry." said Sora.
"I'm skipping this one too." said Joe. "But I just like to eat on an empty stomach. Besides, we don't know what that stuff is. I could be allergic to it."
After a few seconds, they decided that food was food and dig into the meal while Sora stares at Biyomon while she eats.
