Short Chapter but I don't want push all the classes in one chapter. So the next few chapters for this may be short. Anyway I do hope you all enjoy this! I'm honestly loving all the comments I get on fanfiction and ao3, so please don't be shy! Give me those reviews!

The second day of Hogwarts felt more like the official first day, since they were actually having classes. Of course not all the classes were fun, since Hogwarts, while a Trainer school, was still in fact a school. They had regular classes, like math which was taught by Professor Vector and Languages taught by Professor Barrett. Aria thought that class was interesting, though very hard, trying to pronounce words that weren't basic or Paldean.

Though her classmates didn't share the same enthusiasm. All of them couldn't wait to start the classes that pertain to training Pokemon, which was shown in their first history class, most eyes were flickering to the clock on the wall, the Slytherins waiting to have their first Pokemon Care class while the Hufflepuffs were to have their first Aura class.

Professor Burbage took this all in stride, clapping her hands together, "Come on you lot…I know you are all excited but please pay attention," she smiles at them all, "Now…I know you must have heard of some stories of my predecessor…but let me tell you one thing…you will not be able to fall asleep in my class…in fact I hope that you will find this class as interesting as I do…that History is way we can learn from the past…learn from the accomplishments of our ancestors…and learn from their failures, so that way history doesn't repeat itself…now tell me…who was the first Champion of Grimm," she looks around, "can anyone tell me?"

She gestures to Malfoy who was leaning in his chair, "It was Ulick Gamp of course,"

"Actually, Mister Malfoy that is incorrect," the boy sputters at this, sitting up and Professor Burbage smiles, "He was the First Minister of Grimm…it is quite easy to get the two confused. In fact, the first Champion was Hans Stein," she picked up a small remote from her desk and pressed a button. An image appearing on the black screen. Aria blinks at the sight of the first Grimm Champion. He was an aged man, looking tired but happy, the sleeves of his black houppelande were rolled up, with a yellow furred cape over his shoulders. "Hans Stein was in fact the First Champion of Grimm…he came from no family who used Aura…in fact his father was the Lord who was rounding up all those who could use Aura. But Hans, unlike his father, could use Aura, and in fear ran from home. With two friends that he made along the way, the three travel towards Far Far Away Island, being welcomed by the founders. After a grueling war between Hogwarts and the Lord, the exile prince dissolved the monarchy creating the Nevermore League and the Foundation. Can anyone tell me who and what is the Foundation,"

She gestures to Susan Bones who sat up, "The Foundation are the eight Gym Leaders of Grimm. At the beginning it use to be made up of, The Abbot, Bones, Black, Longbottom, Lestrange, Smith, Gaunt..and Potters," her eyes flicker to Aria, "But the Lestrange's Heirs are imprison and the Lord of the House is too old to have another child so he retired from being a Gym, the Smith Family lost their Gym Leader position because of an incident while the Gaunt Family died out. And while the Bones and Potter Family happily retired from being Gym Leaders, they are still part of the Foundation though the Potters seat there hasn't been anyone in those seats for the last…" she shakes her head, not saying it out loud, " …so now the Foundation is made up of the Abbot, Weasley, Diggory, Lovegood, Nott, Longbottom, Greengrass, Bones, Black, Lestrange, Smith, and Potter,"

"That is correct, ten points to Hufflepuff," Professor Burbage smiles, "Very much correct. The Champion of course is changed every time someone defeats the old Champion. Such as Champion Valmont Malfoy did with former Champion Millicent Bagnold. But they are helped by the Elite Four who are usually Gym Leaders who have been promoted such as Amelia Bones was," she nods her head at Susan who looks up proudly, but her eyes shine in a bit of sadness, "or they went up the ranks in their departments. Such as Thorfinn Rowle who works for the Department of Pokémon Accidents and Catastrophes," she then smiles, "Or they were the apprentice to a former Elite Four, such as Viper Snape,"

"Of course, they are the ones who rule on the Pokémon side of Grimm. The Minister has his own sort of Elite Four, and they govern the civilian side of things. Like Bartimaeus Crouch in the Department of Regional Cooperation. Or like Ludo Bagman who leads the Department of Grimm Games and Sports. Both of these fractions help lead Grimm into a brighter future," she looks at them all and softly smiles. Aria notices that she seems to linger on Malfoy for a bit, "and it's all because of one man, who came from a family who couldn't use their aura. This is proof that in Arceus' eyes that we are all equal, that it doesn't matter where we come from or who we are, we can do many great things,"

"How dare that woman!" Aria sighs, rolling her eyes as the Slytherins headed towards Pokémon care, "wait til my father hears about this!"

"He's going to be on repeat for hours," Daphne sighs, shaking her head, glaring as Malfoy kept going on, "and if he thinks his father would do anything about it, he has another thing coming. Most of the Foundation after the war have been trying to stop the corruption…to give those who are the first in their families to use their aura a better chance…its slow going but its getting there. Father said there has been talk about just scrapping the whole scholarship program and allowing anyone with the ability to use aura to come to Hogwarts,"

They entered the room, the Gryffindors already there, but Aria could see that neither Ron nor Neville were with them. Looking at Daphne with a frown, the two girls took seats in one of the desks. Aria looked around a bit, the classroom was big, surrounded by high windows. Four rows of three desks filled the room but there was still enough room for several cages and bookshelves. Two golden statues of persian sat in front of the Professor's desk, which behind it was a chalkboard.

Aria frowns though at the sight of the Pokemon laying on the Professor's desk. It was a Meowstic, female at that with its white fur coloring. But the tuft of fur in its head and the collar were a bright red, along with the base of its tails and the stocking-like markings. The eyes were still red but the sclerae was a bright green instead of a yellow.

At that moment, the door slammed open and Ron and Neville came charging in. Ron was gasping for breath, "Phew…we made it. Can you imagine the look on McGonagall's face if we were late,"

The class cries out as the Meowstic leaps from the desk, body shifting and changing, growing larger. They all stared in shock as Professor McGonagall landed her feet on the stone floor, cradling an Espurr in her arms and walking over to the two boys with a stern look.

"That was bloody brilliant," Ron gasps in awe, making the Professor smirk a bit.

"Thank you for that assessment Mister Weasley…I figure you two got lost?"

Neville nods his head, "Yes ma'am…" he looks down shyly, missing the gentle look the Professor gave them.

"Well it's a given since it's your first week…now why don't you two take your seats and we can begin the lesson," the two boys nodded their heads and looked around. Ron grabs Neville by the wrist and gently leads the pink-haired boy over to Aria and Daphne's table. Professor McGonagall nods her head, walking over to her desk and placing the Espurr down, "Now I know you are all curious about what I did…but first settle down, settle down. Pokemon Care, which you will soon get tired of hearing me say for the next seven years, is an exact science that will take time to master. But we need to be daunted. Because it can and will be quite easy if you listen,"

She gave them all a look, "Many Trainers believe that they can simply go get a brand of kibble from the Pokemart or a simple brushing is all they need to care for their Pokemon. But there is so much more. Pokemon have needs that need to be taken care of and some are very simple if you just learn. Take note like the area they have lived in when you caught them…a Snom perhaps? Which lives in many forests that have a constant winter. You wouldn't bring a Snom out to battle in a desert now will you?" some of the students grimace at the thought and Professor McGonagall nods her head, "Pokemon Care is complex…and sometimes dangerous…but the rewards are great,"

She gestures to the Espurr now sitting on her desk, "What you saw was one of them. Biomerging is a complex technique that Trainers can use. Like that of Mega Evolution, Z-Moves, Dynamxing and Terastral, you need a strong bond with your Pokemon, to not only allow your aura to connect with each other but to fuse together, to create a new form," she softly pets Espurr, making the mon purr, "When Athena and I Biomerge we become a Meowstic but thanks to me, our Meowstic form gains the fire typing. I have seen others Biomerge with their Pokemon, creating new evolutions or even bring back a lost form that has been extinct for years. Taking care of your Pokemon can bring great things, open many paths that should be impossible, like fighting poison off without an Antidote, or to keep standing after an attack that should had knocked it out,"

Having their attention, Professor McGonagall nods her head, "Release your Pokemon,"

The students quickly did so, Alphonse squeaks as he appears on the desk, rubbing his face as Nori stretches out his arms over his head. Pidgey was flapping her wings, happily spreading them while Neville quickly grabbed Trevor before the Chikorita could run off.

Looking around she took notice of what Pokemon her classmates have. Lavender Brown had a Milcery who was happily bouncing in place next to Patil's Eevee. Fay Dunpar, their roommate, was softly petting her Gligar…or was trying to as it tried to snap at her fingers. Dean Thomas was trying to pull his pencil out of his Chewtle's mouth while Semunus Finnigan held up his Voltorb as it exploded, making his hair stand up and smoke to rise from his form.

Draco's Quaxley was sneering at them all, standing beside Parkinson's Galarian Meowth , who seemed to want to attack them all. Blaise smiles as his Spinarak crawls up his back. Both Crabbe and Goyle had a Geodude, though Goyle's was a Alolan Geodude. Millicent's Slakoth was scratching at its head and yawns cutely. Nott's Clauncher was glaring at Parkinson's Meowth.

"Now…the first thing to do in Pokemon Care is to scan your Pokemon. Now that you are at Hogwarts, you should now have access to the Pokedex app. It will tell you the information, the level, the nature and your starters' parents,"

Nodding their heads, they bring out their Rotophones, and brought up the Pokedex app, scanning the Pokemon in front of them.

Cyndaquil: The Fire Mouse Pokemon- It is timid and always curls itself up in a ball. But when it is attacked, its flares up its back for protection, showing its tremendous firepower.

This Pokemon is male with the ability Flash Fire. He is Level 5.

Parents: Typhlosion , Arcanine

Moves: Tackle, Leer, Shadow Sneak

Nature: Timid

Note: Due to the Arcanine genes from his Sire, this Cyndaquil's fur is much longer and will need a constant brushing to make sure the fur doesn't get knotted and matted. Also due to being one of the rodent Pokemon, this Pokemon's teeth will continue to grow their entire life, so to keep them at a manageable length please give this Pokemon something to gnaw on. If not, their lower teeth will grow through the top of their skull and puncture their brain, thus killing them.

Aria grimaces at that, looking at Alphonse, "Well…now I know why you kept chewing on stuff…sorry Al," Alphones squeaks, nibbling on her fingers.

Bring out your Pokemon

"All Pokemon, to a Magikarp to a powerful Salamence have potential. It is the Trainers job to perceive the potential within them, just as I see it in all of you. Tremendous Trainers, everyone of you. Or it could just be my eyesight?" she laughs a bit, giving them all what they would soon learn was a rare smile, "It is in this class that you will not only bring out their potential but to forge everlasting bonds with them. To become not only a team, but a family. That is if you have the courage to open your hearts to them, to think of them more than tools to use to get to the top," she then frowns, closing her eyes, "so be warned anyone not taking my class seriously and messing around will leave and not come back,"

They all stare at the Professor and feel their nerves fire up. But Aria smiles, impressed with her speech as she tells them to bring out a notebook and pencil so that they may do notes on proper grooming. Aria bites at her lips at this, she knew the important of this but grooming Uncle's and Teacher's Pokemon were one of the many chores she had to do…though she could thank Arceus that she wouldn't be behind in some classes. As she began to take the complicated notes, looking through her Pokedex she frowned a bit.

"If Alphonse's sire was an Arcanine…and his mother was a Typhlosion…how does he know Shadow Sneak ...neither of those Pokemon know the move…"

Looking at Alphonse, she shakes her head. It didn't matter, as long as Alphonse was healthy and well, as long as his egg move wasn't hurting him, she didn't care how he knew the move.
