"anna, oh my i'm going to be a grandfather" he gave her a hug and shook Bret hand they greeted the newcomers.

Elle notice how quiet Moncia is, so she nudge her head then she walk outside, then Moncia did. They walk over and sat down
"something bothering you" elle said

"I can tell i first notice it after Maggie and PJ announce the pregnancy then Anna showed up. I gather you relies the choices you made might be the wrong ones. Years ago you turn down a proposal and a family of your on and that your more fokest on your job than anything else and your clock is ringing."

"I had a baby boy when I was sixteen. I put him up for adoption it was the hardest thing for me to do. I always wanted to join the police but with a baby i wouldn't reach where I am today."
"i know what it like when i had triplets. I got no family but the guys here they been amazing. They help me out more than i can imagine. You never know where you might be station at the coppers there might help you out in times of need. But we can't dwell on the past but look to the future and who knows one day you son will come looking for you."

"there you are, coming in for desert before Anna eat it all"

"Ok" she turned around to walk back inside.
"Tim" Elle nudge with her head. Tim quietly walk to the corner and put his head around the corning
"you know it rude to ears drop on private conversation Dash" Dash jump as she turns to see Tim looking at her.
"Dash get in side" Elle said in an angry tone.
"OK, I'm going" she turn around and walk in side
"Dash no talking about what you saw" Tim said
"Or else what"
"Tell her sunday cleaning jobs" Elle said smiling

"Ok, ok" she walk in side and Tim turn around and walk back to his spot
"do you think it will work" tim asked
"Yeah cause Hoobie spends the holiday weekend in the cells drunk"
"Ah yeah i for got about that"
"Who hoobie" Moncia asked
"a guy who lives down near where the tip is. Every holiday and once a month he comes into town and with draw money from his account and get drunk on a saturday night, the guys here pick him up and bring him here for the night. The next morning you need a dozen cans of air freshener and hot water and strong disaffected"

"His body odor" tim said
"Why does he live down at the dump"
"Cause he got no other place to go. We offer him a house, he won't take it, he said it to big."
"elle came up with a design to build a small house for him and i had it built so when he comes in tonight, tomorrow we can show him his new place"

"We might as well head in to see how much desert is left" elle said. Moncia stood up

"any time" the walk inside to see everyone else enjoying desert.
"I hope there some left" Elle said
"Yes there is" Nick said. They all enjoyed there deserts while talking, laughing and joking.
Couple hours later Nick and Adam left the station because of a call out while everyone else help pack the remaining of the food up when they heard over the radio "Mount thomas station this is three zero eight" tom pick up the radio
"Go ahead three zero eight"
"Boss we bring in Hoobie, he been on the spirits"
"copy that nick thanks for the warning mount thomas back on channel"
"tim why don't you take the kids home"
"Good idea"
"Bret, susan, Anna your welcome to come around to our place"

"We go there every year after christmas lunch" tom said
"Why not" susan said
"If you got swimsuits or short and tops, that fine if you want to go for a swim"
"sounds good to me" anna said. Few minutes later they left to go around to the house.
Elle turn to Moncia "Your welcome as well"
"thank you" then they heard a nose then turn to see Nick and Adam walking Hoobie into the station.
"Hello hoobie, merry christmas" Elle said "Hey got any thing to drink" she pass him a glass of orange juice
"What nothing stronger"
"not in the station and if your good I'll make sure you get a good meal tonight once you sober up"
"Why not now"
"Cause you would end up bringing it all up like you did five years ago. This way it safer"
"Ok" he drinks the orange juice.

"You're welcome. Nick, Adam" they took him to the cells. Elle turn to monica who was holding her nose.
"That is hoobie"
"I understand why you need cans of air freshener in here"
"Boss we head on home"
"thanks, where the air freshener"
"in the cupboard but you don't need them, lucky i open the windows before he arrived"
"thanks" Elle and moncia walk outside for some fresh air.
"It sure was hot in side there"
"I know, and with limited space for everyone, it has been hard. But I have to design a new mount thomas station"

"Yes it at home, it a rough idea"

"ok" monica follow Elle home.
When she saw the house and it size she was shocked by it. When she follows Elle around to the back of the house she was shocked by the size of it and saw a large gazebo up and table and chairs around it. She follow Elle in side and was amazed by the size of the in side of the house. They walk into the office where Elle got out her drawing and showed it to Monica.
"This is what i got in mind for new station"
"How big will it be"
"twice as big as the one we got now. As you can see it will have new cells, car park, everything including a second detective office which can be used for you or the drug squad or hommerside if they come here so they won't be using boss or PJ office"

"plus with the size the door ways will be wider for wheelchair accessibility, at the moment we got none"
"that is a good idea, i notice that the walls are thick why is that"
"Cause at the moment if a crazy man walk in with a gun he can fire it at any thing or any one plus bullets can go through walls. This way it will stop it from happening and if there a bomb in the station, one we got now it would completly distory it. With the new station it would only damage the room it in cause the doors with be thick metal"
"but why build it like this"
"Remember the bombings up north this year and the damage done to the buildings."

"I saw widgee station last month, Satgent Towers there told me you design it"
