The plan was simple. They would play along with Edison until everything was ready. Olivia would act like the perfect girlfriend who and continue to 'plan' the wedding and they were going to have the big wedding day. Fitz hated the idea, but he knew the plan was the only way to do it. He just didn't know if he could watch it go that far, even if it was with a plan. He sighs at the thought. The conversation has been worked and reworked. They have to go through with the plan.

Liv is asleep on her bed. She's had one hell of a week. Fitz got her a second phone. He didn't trust Edison at all. The second phone rings. She answers the phone groggily. "Hi," she utters.

"I'm sorry baby, I woke you up," he says.

"It's okay," she says still half asleep.

"No, you go back to sleep. I know you've had a rough week," Fitz says softly.

She sits up in the bed, trying to break the fog of sleep that was settling in, "No, I want to talk to you. I need to hear your voice."

"I know this is what we need to do but this is hard," Fitz expresses.

"I hated every part of this week. I felt like this Barbie doll on display as he introduces me as his soon to be wife. How I am the next face in law, with his help of course."

Fitz is now sitting up in his bed. The veins in his neck are protruding, "Like you are his damn property. I could break his neck. Part of me just wants to leak this and let the damn chips fall where they may."

Liv can hear the frustration in his voice, "Fitz you can't do that. Then you will..."

"You think I'd leak you in those tapes. Of course, not Livvie. You know I wouldn't do that to you."

Liv just sits in silence. Fitz can almost hear her heartbeat. He doesn't want to push her. She finally says, "I am lying to my dad and my sister. She thinks I am crazy for going through with this but she's supporting me, nonetheless. My father is taking me at my word, but I don't think he believes me."

"Let me just leak the photos and get you out of this," Fitz suggests.

"And what's the plan when he goes on the war path for that being leaked. He's going to want to know who did it and he will want revenge. We have a solid plan Fitz and you said Huck is the best at what he does."

Fitz sighs, "We have a solid plan. A plan that also involves not seeing each other. I really want to see you. I miss you," he says.

"I really want to see you too and you know I miss you too."

Fitz shakes his head. He hates how this situation with Edison has turned their lives upside down. "I finally get you back and it's been one problem after another. Is this some kind of joke."

Liv is in deep thought as he calls her name, "Angela came to see me today," she blurts.

"Angela, why?"

"You," Liv says pointedly.

"Me! Why?"

"Because she's smart Fitz. That I will give her credit for."

"What did she want Livvie?"

Liv sighs, "She wanted to know if I had anything to do with you two breaking up."

"Why would she think you would have anything to do with it?"

Liv looks at him as if he's asked a duh question. "Fitz, I am at your club at night alone and we are talking. I was mad as hell when she showed up. She probably put two and two together."

"What did you tell her?"

Liv sits up more on headboard, "I told her the truth. We had a relationship. But...we were still friends."

"Good friends," he smirks.

"I don't think she believed me at all."

"What are you wearing?"

"What? Fitz…"

"What are you wearing?"

"Fitz now is not the time to be horny. Angela could be a problem," Liv expresses.

"I can't help if it is hearing you jealous and mad is sexy as hell to me," Fitz chuckles.

"Fitz, I am serious. I don't know why she and Edison eventually broke up, but they are both formidable and both all about themselves."

Fitz realizes she's worried, "What are you saying Livvie?"

"We need to keep our eyes open."

"You want me to go back and date Angela until this is all over," Fitz says.

"Hell, no I don't," she answers quickly which makes Fitz chuckle.

"Don't laugh at me, "she says bashfully.

"Listen, how about I have Huck keep some tabs on Angela too? Would that make you feel better?"

Liv throws her head back on the headboard, "I want this all to be over. That would make me feel better. I hate all of this. And…." She stops herself, quickly getting quiet.

"And what?"

"And I am scared of what else Edison has up his sleeve. I know we are planning this carefully, but he has a tape of me having sex with him, in his office. All the embarrassing details of it and that's something he can hold over my head forever."

"Not if we get to him first Livvie," Fitz reminds her.

"But once we do this, what's to stop him…"

"I'm coming over there," Fitz says as he gets up from his bed.

"Fitz you can't come over here. He could be watching the house. And my father is not going to understand why you are here to see me. Invitations have gone out and I won't be able to explain that right now."

"Maybe it is time to explain."

"Fitz…."

"Olivia, I understand the position you are in, and I get it. You have a lot to lose."

"My name and my reputation," she interrupts him.

"But maybe it will make things better to tell your family what's going on. I am carrying this as much as I can for you and I going to make that prick pay for what he is doing to you but let the other two people that love you the most, be there for you too."

Liv closes her eyes, taking his words in. "What if my dad…?"

"Your dad loves you and he might be disappointed in you, but he won't stop loving you. He threatened in silent words to kill me if I hurt Savannah and then finding out about you and me."

"I can't have this conversation without you," Liv says as she takes a deep breath.

"I'll be right there and no matter what we are going to get through this together," Fitz assures her.

"I want to tell you something, but I don't know if I can…"

Fitz smiles. He knows her so well, in such a short time. "I want you tell me what you want to tell me, but I understand why you can't or don't think you should."

"Am I coward?" Liv asks sincerely.

"No, you could never be a coward. You are just cautious and there's nothing wrong with that," Fitz answers.

"I wasn't cautious enough. That's what got me into this fucking mess," she sighs.

"And I am going to help you get out of tis fucking mess," Fitz adds.

"Hurry and get over here. I want to see you."

"I am getting dressed right now," He answers.

"Are you not dressed?" she asks with an eyebrow raised.

"Maybe," he says with a wink she can't see.

"I miss you so much," Liv responds.

"I miss you all the time and for the record I want to tell you something too and I will when it is the right time," Fitz answers. She can't help but smile. "I'll be there soon," he finishes as he hangs up.

Liv throws her head back once again on the headboard. Her phone flashes and she sees a text from Edison, asking her not to forget about the event at the Governor's Mansion next week. He wants to see the dress she picked out. Liv rolls her eyes. She realizes everything Fitz says was right. She needs to come clean to her family. She can't let Edison cost her the trust of her family, even if she is trying to protect them. She gets up and goes downstairs, telling them that Fitz is coming over because they all need to talk.

Edison has just looked at Olivia's answer to his text. She hasn't bought her dress yet for the event and that frustrates him. She knows how important this is. He is sitting at a table at one of Boston's finest waiting for someone to join him. He is about to call Olivia when his guest sits down.

"I was surprised to get a call from you today," Edison says.

"I was surprised I was calling you too," Angela answers.

"What's on your Angie?" Edison says. They haven't seen each other in a while, but the familiarity is still there.

"I was surprised to hear you are getting married," she says.

"That's right! I am getting married," he sits back arrogantly.

"Olivia Pope," she shakes her head.

"Yes! That lovely woman came to her senses and is marrying me," Edison says glibly.

Angela sits back, folding her arms, "I am very surprised being that you cheated on her with me. I am surprised she would come back to you considering and considering…"

"Considering what?" Edison says.

"Considering she was dating a very, very, rich man, in Fitzgerald Grant. Who is quite the catch," Angela says.

"I've met him once. I wasn't that impressed," Edison says.

"No man ever likes competition," Angela laughs softly.

Edison tilts his head, "How do you know he is quite the catch?"

"Well, we dated for a couple months and one night about 2 months ago, I went to meet him and guess who was there, talking to him, Olivia." She knows Edison and she knows it struck a nerve.

He tries to act unaffected, "Okay."

"And then not too long after that, Fitz broke up with me for some reason."

Edison snickers, "Maybe he just didn't want to pursue the relationship any longer."

"You think this is funny. I was trying to help you," Angela says.

"How can you help me, Angela?"

"You better find out if nothing is going on under your nose. I mean she's marrying you, albeit surprised, but I didn't get the feeling that their business was finished. It's unfinished at best."

"So, you are butt hurt that some man broke up with you and you are blaming Olivia for it."

"Maybe it's karma after what I did to her, when I knew you two were screwing but I liked what I had, and I want to know why it is over. And I believe goodie two shoes had something to do with it."

"Angela isn't this a little high schoolish for you. I mean you sound like a bad after school conversation in the girl's locker room."

"Don't insult my intelligence," Angela says pointedly.

He throws his hands up. "Listen, I am sorry that this Grant cat broke up with you and broke your very cold heart. Although it surprises me that you care so much about this break up. Olivia and I are getting married. She is committed to me and this relationship, believe me. She won't be stepping out on me. Not now and not ever."

Angela is about to answer then she studies him. She didn't expect his attitude to be so blaise. "What is going on?"

Edison cuts his eyes, "What are you talking about?'

"I mean what is going on. I didn't buy Olivia's story that they had a relationship and were just friends now. And now she's so committed to you and your relationship."

"That's exactly right. "You can believe that or not," Edison says with his best poker face.

"What are you up to Eddie?"

Edison taught Angela all his legal tricks and she already had her own spider senses. He decides to hear her out. "What do you think is going on?"

"I think they are still seeing each other, and she is seeing him behind your back. I know you; you are too calm about this. You are all about your appearance and what makes the Edison Davis name look good. If you thought that was what was going on, you would handle this, but you are so sure, in a very cocky way that it's not."

"Call me a hopeless romantic," Edison smiles.

"I call bullshit. What's going on?"

"Let's just say I have all the assurance I need that will keep Olivia faithful to me. Her name and career depends on it."

Angela watches his demeanor and studies his words, "You are blackmailing her with something. It must be good for her to go along with marrying you. You couldn't be faithful if your dick depended on it," Angela says.

"You seemed to like this dick for a time."

"It had its privileges," Angela rolls her eyes.

"What do you want Angela? "You want this Grant back," Edison says.

"I know jealousy when I see Edison and I saw it in Olivia's face when I arrived to meet Fitz. She covered it as well as she could, but I could see it. If Fitz broke up with me because of her, I could only return the favor."

"What are you proposing?" Edison asks.

"I am proposing assurance for you. You get what you want, and I'll get what I want."

"What is this really about?"

"She took my spot," Angela finally admits. Edison looks at her confused. "At Sally Langston's firm. She took my spot."

"They offered it to her. She's not as good as me."

"She might not be taking the position. I want her at the firm with me and eventually take care of our family. You might still have your chance."

"I don't want a might; I want a definite."

"I thought you liked it at Jacoby and Myers."

"I do but Langston & Associates would look much better on my resume, don't you think?

"I suppose!"

"What do you have on her?"

"That, I am keeping close to the vest. That's my ace in the hole."

Angela beckons the waiter over, asking for a bottle of their finest champagne. "This one is on me. I think we will have a lot to celebrate."

"Mutual destructive interests make good partners," Edison says as they raise their glasses and toast to their newfound partnership.

Liv is sitting in the living room, waiting for Fitz. She talked to dad and Savannah about wanting to have a family discussion. They have to wait for Savannah to get off her shift. Her dad's mind has been in overdrive. Why is Fitzgerald Grant coming over for a family meeting? He decides not to ask questions, just to see where this all leads.

Liv goes to the door, and she is peeping out of the window. She feels like a giddy schoolgirl and scared woman all at the same time. They open the gate for Fitz to pull in. As soon as his car is nestled behind the gates, she closes it. She runs outside, she is quickly pained with a grimace from her leg, which has been healing very well. Fitz gets out of the car, opening his arms for the best sight he's seen in a while. He holds her tight, rubbing her back as she nestles her face into his neck and holds him tight.

"Hey," Fitz says as he kisses the side of her head. "I missed you too." He feels the tears dampening his shirt. Then he feels her chest rise and fall from her crying. "Come on, don't cry. I'm here now."

She mumbles into his shirt, "Let's just run away and never come back."

He wants her to talk to him, "What?"

She lifts her tear-stained face to face him, "Let's just leave Boston…we can…" Before she can finish her sentence, Fitz places a soft kiss on her lips. "Fitz," she moans into his mouth.

"We are not running. We are not going to let Edison win that way. He must be dealt with and exposed. Our home is here in Boston just as much as it is his. Everything is going to be okay. I'm not going anywhere."

She tries to wipe the streaming tears, "I know it's just my dad. He's been our rock, our parent since my mother died and I just fear hurting him, disappointing him. I just feel so guilty," she explains.

"I told you before, we all make mistakes. You aren't infallible," Fitz says.

"I want this to be over. You and I wasted 2 years. Well, I wasted 2 years. I should have never left that hotel room."

"We found each other again and that's all that matters," he says wiping a lone tear. "Now, let's go inside."

She sighs as she wipes her eyes. She tries to straighten herself up. "We have to wait for Savannah. I was thinking we could order some food or something," she finishes.

"That sounds good. Does your dad like Thai?' Fitz asks.

"Yes, he does and that's a great idea and we have the best in the area," she answers as she they start toward the inside. Her dad is sitting at the table, doing something she hasn't seen him do in a long time. He's playing solitary. The last time she can remember him doing that was the day their mother died. After they took her body away. He stole away and played it for hours. She knows he's worried and likely worried about her. He looks up to see her and Fitz standing there.

He gets up, "Good to see you Fitz," he says shaking his hand.

"Good to see you again sir."

Eli looks at Fitz and then Olivia, "What's going on?"

"Daddy, I'd rather wait until Savannah is here. Plus, we are starving. We were thinking ordering Thai."

Eli, again, decides not to push. "Thai sounds good."

They order the food and talk about random subjects as they wait for Savannah to come home. Olivia's phone rings and she looks down to see its Edison. She tries to ignore it. Her dad glances over at the phone and sees Edison. "Savannah is on the way," Liv says.

"Are you going to answer your fiancé?" Eli asks as Fitz quickly glances at her.

"I'd rather not daddy," Liv says as the phone begins to ring again.

"Olivia, your fiancé who you are marrying in a matter of months is calling you. You are ignoring his call while we have dinner with your ex-boyfriend," Eli says pointedly. He looks at Fitz, "No offense to you Fitz but I am trying to understand."

Liv sighs, she picks up the phone again as it starts to ring. She sees Edison's text. She quickly answers, "Hello Edison!"

"You didn't answer my call," he says.

"I am having dinner with my dad, and we are talking," she says. She's telling half the truth.

"I thought I'd come over," Edison says.

"No," she says too quickly as she looks at her disapproving look from her dad and then over to Fitz. "I mean, "My dad and I have some catching up to do and I have an early day tomorrow. Plus, I still have to shop for my dress remember." She has a hit of anxiety because she's talking so fast.

Much to her surprise, Edison doesn't press. "Okay fine but we are still on for dinner tomorrow night."

"Of course, we are," she says rolling her eyes. He says goodbye and they hang up. Before she can say anything her father cuts in.

"You just lied in my presence Olivia," Eli says to her.

Before she can answer, Savannah comes in, talking a mile a minute. She makes her way into the dining room to see everyone, including Fitz sitting there. "Well…." She hesitates. "Hello everyone!" Everyone kind of greets her in unison. "I feel like I need to sit down," she continues.

Liv nods, "Yes, that might be good."

"Okay, can I wash my hands and get some of this food," Savannah asks cautiously. She can see her dad is not happy about something. She gets her food and sits back at the table.

"I called this meeting, so I think I should definitely start," Liv says as she's sitting next to Fitz. He reaches for her hand and holds it tight which Eli and Savannah take note.

"Someone start," Eli says.

"Daddy, I am sorry I just partly lied to Edison, but I definitely don't want to see him."

"Your fiancé," Eli says.

"I wish he weren't," she says as the tears fill her eyes.

Savannah feels a bit of relief, but she tries not to show it. She knew her sister was hiding something, but she didn't want to push for the answers. "Then call off the wedding," Savannah says.

"I wish it were that simple," Liv says with her head down.

"You don't want to marry him, and I am assuming you don't love him, so what is going on," Eli says.

Fitz squeezes her hand, letting her know it's okay, which Eli notices. Fitz whispers to her, "It's okay."

"When I was interning with Edison, you know we started dating."

"I do!" He answers. "I didn't approve of that, but I tried to let you make your own decisions and hope it wouldn't affect your career."

Liv drops her head again. She looks up, "Well you know that we were seem serious for a minute and we were intimate."

Savannah can tell how hard this is and she is wondering how big this secret is. She looks over at Fitz whose knuckles are white, he's gripping Olivia's hand so tight.

"I rather not know that" Eli says uncomfortably.

"We had sex in his office once or twice," she takes a breath, and she looks at her dad who she can tell is seething.

"Olivia," Eli says gritting his teeth.

"Daddy, before you tell me how disappointed you are. I am disappointed in myself that I was that careless with him but in the moment, I didn't think about that, and I didn't think it was a problem," Liv starts.

"And now it's a problem," Eli adds.

"It's why I am marrying him," Liv finishes.

Both Eli and Savannah look confused. Fitz decides to back her, "He was videoing them."

"That motherfucker," Savannah says before she could catch herself. Eli shoots her a look. "I am sorry daddy."

"You watch your language, but I concur," Eli says.

"He threatened to show your video," Savannah says.

"Yes, he did. He wants a trophy wife and I'm it. So, he says. He feels like owe him my success."

"He didn't get you that job at Langston & Associates. That was all you," Savannah reminds her.

"I know that, but he threatened to send that video to the firm. I had to beg him not to make me turn the job down, although I suspect her will want me to."

Eli is taking this all in and watching Fitz. "Where do you fit in to this, besides being the man, she really loves."

Before Fitz can peak, Liv answers, "He made me break up with Fitz."

It hits Savannah, "Is he the reason you had that accident?"

"Yes, he is. That's the night I found out he had video. I was so upset; I wasn't paying attention to the road and the next I knew…"

Fitz brings Liv hand up to her lips and kisses it. He looks at Eli, "You asked where I come in. After Olivia so abruptly broke up with me. I knew something was wrong and I had to find out what it was. I wasn't giving her up without some answers," he says forcefully as he looks at her. Bringing the first smile to her face since this conversation started. "I had one of my men do something illegal that involved some computer hacking. My guy, Huck, found his hidden videos and I saw Olivia in one of the videos and I knew it. I knew exactly what he had done and why she was doing what she was doing. And I was sure that Olivia or any of the other women in the videos knew they were being videoed."

Eli once again gritted his teeth, "There were other women."

"Yes, daddy and he videoed them all without us knowing it. None of us, at least I know I wouldn't have agreed to that."

Savannah pipes in, "That's illegal and we need to alert the police."

Olivia can see that her father is biting his words, "Daddy, please go ahead and say something even though I know what you are going to say."

He is slow to speak, "I am going to be honest here and let me say what I need to say. I am very disappointed in you. This was a very irresponsible and embarrassing thing you did. I am going to ask you something and I want you to be honest with me because I don't know what to think."

Liv knows her father, "No daddy. I didn't sleep with him to get perks. That was never what it was about."

"Olivia, this man has something that could follow you around for the rest of your life. I am assuming since you and Fitz are here, seemingly as a united front, that you have a plan."

"We have a plan, and we think it is going to work," Liv says.

"I hope the plan involves beating Edison's ass," Savannah says.

"Believe, I've begged Olivia to let me beat him within an inch of his life, but she made me promise I wouldn't do that."

"I am not promising anything," Eli says.

"Daddy, we have a plan, and it would require you being as nice to Edison as you can until we follow this through," Liv looks Eli in the eye.

"I am not going to promise anything until I know what this plan is and how you are going to be protected."

Liv and Fitz look at each other and both begin to share the plan with Eli and Savannah.

Huck got Fitz's text a little while ago and he starts working on the marching orders that Fitz gave him. He has Angela's face on the screen. He checked her out to see if she was good enough to represent Fitz's company with the issue they had. Now he's looking to see if she has some skeletons in the closet that they should be concerned about. If there is something hidden, Huck will find it, or he won't stop until he does.

For an hour, they told Eli and Savannah what the plan was. Eli was adamant that he didn't know how long he could look at Edison and keep up a fake smile, but he would do it for his daughter. Savannah is still adamant about kicking his ass. Eli had an idea of his own, but he wasn't going to discuss it with Fitz and Liv. As Olivia's father, he feels like he has to do this. Fitz and Liv have gone up to her room to talk some more before he has to leave. Liv is cuddled in his arms, holding him so tight, he chuckles at her grip.

"Livvie, I am not going anywhere," Fitz assures her.

"I am keeping you like this forever," she says into his chest.

"You will, one day soon, I promise."

She looks up at him, "Thank you!"

He taps her beautiful little nose, "For what?"

"For being there with me. For holding my hand. For holding me up. I can't tell you how much I needed that."

"I told you; I am going to be here every step of the way. And I think it went better than expected."

"I saw the disappointment in his eyes. The disappointment I didn't want to see but I also saw some empathy. No one thinks they are being taped having sex unless they wanted it. I certainly didn't know that and to know he did it to others. It makes me sick to my stomach."

Fitz lifts her chin, "That's why he must pay for this. We can't let him get away with it."

"He invaded my privacy and all those other women, especially those younger girls."

"He's a pig Olivia. He's the worst kind of man, more so not a man."

Liv lifts herself off of him. She sits up on the bed. "I want to tell you why."

He looks at her a little confused, "I want to tell you why I slept with Edison."

"You don't have to tell me that. We weren't together. I don't have a right to judge you," Fitz says but there is some hurt in his voice.

"I slept with him because it was exhilarating and I was looking for that high," Liv says. She surprises herself even by saying it out loud.

"What do you mean?"

"I missed you so much and to be honest I was just scared to go to that club and try to find you again. And it scared me to death to miss someone I only knew for one night, but I knew you were the one. I wanted that out of control but in control feeling I felt that night when I was with you. I found it with no one and after the third time it happened, I hated myself and before I could break up with him, I caught him and Angela. That did the work for me."

He can't help but smile at the admittance that she missed him and wanted him. "You want to know why I slept with Angela."

"Well, there's one obvious reason," Liv says.

"And that's exactly it and I feel like the worst kind of guy for it. She's not you. I've only been with two other women, and I was looking for what I felt that night with you and I couldn't find it. I hated myself for it too."

"Is that what people in love do?" Liv asks.

"It depends," Fitz gives her that crooked smile.

"Depends on what?"

"Are you in love me?"

Liv drops her head. All her heart is already so bare. This feels so heavy for her. "I feel like it's crazy. How could we be in love?"

He turns her chin gently to him, "How could we not be in love? We've made stupid choices since we've been apart after being together one night and one night only. That sounds like love at first sight to me." A soft smile turns up. "That's what you wanted to tell me earlier."

She looks at him, "What?"

"You wanted to tell me that you loved me earlier, didn't you?"

"Yes, I did. But I didn't want to say something you weren't ready to hear."

Fitz pulls her lips to his and plants a passionate kiss on her lips. The kiss becomes smoldering and full passion. He pulls away, causing her to moan, "I am totally in love with you, and I am very ready to hear that you are in love with me."

She turns them over, straddling his torso. She returns a kiss to him that is just as passionate as he gave her. His hands travel down her body, caressing her ass as they kiss harder and harder. Their moans pleasure feels the room. She pulls back, they are both out of breath. "I am totally in love with you Fitzgerald Grant."

He lays a gentle swat to her ass, "You better be." It makes her giggle.

She sits back, still straddling him. "Where do we go from here?"

"We put Edison's ass away and we start our lives together."

She runs her hands up and down his chest. "I wish you could stay the night."

"I wish I could too, but your dad is already pissed right now, and I don't want to piss him off anymore."

"I don't want to make him angry either. I think I did enough of that tonight."

"How about this? I'll figure something out for us to spend some time together and I'll whisk you away," he smiles.

"I would love that," she blushes.

He throws his head back, "I better go."

She smiles at him, "You better go."

She gets off him and they stand, holding each other tightly. Fitz whispers into her hair as he gives her a kiss on her forehead. "I am so glad I got you back. I am never letting you go again."

"You better not," she reaches up to kiss.

"I call you when I get home and we can talk until you fall asleep."

Liv fixes his shirt that she kind of disheveled. "Well hurry up and go so I can see your face mister."

He gives her another kiss as he she walks him downstairs and to the door. Eli comes out of the kitchen with a pass time favorite on a plate, Oreos. He noticed how they don't want to let go but he doesn't interrupt. But he hears Fitz speak.

"Everything is going to be okay Livvie, I promise."

She smiles, "I believe you."

He reaches down and kisses her again as he leaves, but as he leaves, he sees Eli watching from afar. He gives him a nod, a knowing nod that men understand as he leaves. Liv watches him through the curtain as Eli eases upstairs.

Fitz gets in his car and makes a call. He has to get this over with as soon as possible to get the woman he loves.

Edison won't know what hit him.

Or will Edison win? We will see!
