Several weeks later, Katy and Max Duran are having a dinner party at MK to celebrate the newly renovated building. Once again, Loren did an amazing job for Katy and Max.
Katy can't stop smiling. "This is beautiful Loren; I can't thank you enough for everything you did."
Loren can't stop blushing. "You're welcome Katy, I am so happy you are pleased with my work."
"We are celebrating this new look; I want everyone to see how amazing our club looks. We no longer need to compete with other clubs in the area." Katy says.
Max walks into the room. "You have to join us Loren, we want everyone to meet you."
"I promise to be here." Loren adds.
Mel walks in with a bouquet of flowers. "These are for you Lo."
Loren furrows her eyes. "They're beautiful and my favorite flower."
"Someone knows you love the mix of Sunflowers and Roses." Mel states. "There's a card, read it."
("You're Amazing Loren, thank you for all of your help with designing a better looking MK, Eddie.")
Mel's eyes widen. "They're from Eddie!"
Loren caresses the beautiful flowers sitting in the crystal vase. "He's very sweet."
Katy walks closer to her. "We appreciate everything you did to make this place more attractive for our guests."
"I am happy to help." Loren adds.
Katy reminds Loren. "I will see you here this Saturday at 7 p.m." She looks at Mel. "You have to be here too."
"I will Katy." Mel says.
Loren stays busy with other jobs, it's finally Saturday and she and Mel get ready to attend the inauguration dinner of Mk, Loren is very excited, everyone will see what she did for Katy and Max.
"Are you ready Lo?" Mel wonders.
She steps into the room and stops when she sees Loren. "Oh my God girl, you look very beautiful, that dress accentuates your curves perfectly."
"Are you sure it's not too tight?" Loren turns in front of the mirror to check the back side of the dress.
"It's perfect! That color suits you." Mel adds.
"I hope it's perfect for tonight?" Loren wonders.
Mel picks up a shawl that's hanging on the door of the closet. "Wrap this around your shoulders, now turn around."
"Thanks Mel, I love it." Loren looks at her watch. "Let's go, we don't want to be late to this party."
"I'm so excited for you Lo, everyone will love what you did to MK, you will be famous." Mel says.
"Awww you are too sweet, come one, let's go." Loren says.
Both ladies head to Loren's car and drive away.
When they arrive they notice there are a lot of people making their way inside Mk.
"Now I'm nervous." Loren sighs.
"No need too, you did an amazing job, let's go inside." Mel holds her hand.
The moment Loren and Mel walk inside, Katy rushes to their side. "I am so happy you're here Loren." Katy holds her hand and guides her towards the front part of MK.
Katy stops in front of Jake. "This is Loren Tate; she is responsible for the new look."
"Hi Loren, nice to meet you, I'm Jake Madsen, Eddie's manager, we love what you did here, we have several properties in several cities of California, New York and Chicago, my team and I would love to hire you."
Loren smiles. "Nice to meet you Jake, what would I be hired to do?"
"Eddie performs in those cities, we own the buildings where he and other artists rehearse, they all perform in several of them, they do need a huge make-over, would you be interested?" Jake asks.
Loren didn't expect something this soon. "Thank you for the offer, I am honored, but, how would I get there?"
"No worries, you can travel with Eddie when he flies there, do your thing, when it's done, move on to the next one." Jake states.
He can tell Loren is thinking about it. "How big are the buildings?" She wonders.
"You will work in the offices only, there is a large office in each of the buildings we own." Jake states.
"I'd love to see them before I agree to any of the jobs." Loren adds.
Jake pulls up his tablet and opens a file with many pictures of the offices. "These are it, scroll through each page and decide if you'll take on the job."
"Sounds like a good idea." Loren sits by the bar area to look through the many pictures.
Eddie walks in. "Hey girl, I see Jake spoke to you."
"Yes he did, these offices are the perfect size for a new design." Loren adds.
"By the way, you look very beautiful today." Eddie is quick to say.
Loren feels herself blushing. "You are too kind, thank you for the beautiful flowers."
Eddie leans in. "You're welcome Loren." They make eye contact, a noise coming from the front door pulls them apart.
Loren sees Cam walking into MK with Ella by his side. Eddie notices the change in Loren's demeanor.
"Sorry, I had no idea they were coming here." He adds.
Loren sighs. "I'll be fine, I don't have a choice, do I?"
Mel walks towards Loren. "Do you want to leave?"
"No, I have to eventually face Cam, I'm fine Mel." Loren sighs.
Meanwhile
Katy stops Ella. "What are you doing here? I don't remember inviting you!"
"Uncle Max mentioned it to my mother, Cam and I decided to come and see the new place, I love it auntie Katy."
"We love it; Loren did an amazing job." Katy adds.
Ella sees Cam walking towards his ex-fiancé. "Excuse me auntie Katy."
Cam stops in front of Loren, Mel and Eddie. "Hi Loren, this place looks amazing."
Loren tries hard, but, manages to smile. "Thanks Cam, I hope you and Ella are doing fine."
"We are." Ella jumps in. "We're very happy." She looks at Cam. "You should tell Loren our good news."
Cam looks at her.
"Not now honey, maybe later." Cam is quick to say, Mel narrows her eyes at Ella and looks towards Loren who seems calm with the two of them standing in front of her.
Ella smiles. "We should share our news." Katy stops right behind Loren wondering what her niece has to say.
Cam sighs heavily and looks at his wife who seems determined to share her news.
"We're going to have a baby. Isn't that great?" She questions with a big smirk on her face.
Eddie's afraid this will upset Loren, he doesn't think twice and jumps in front of Cam and Ella. "Congratulations to you both, we have good news to share." He holds Loren's hand; she furrows her eyes wondering what Eddie is up too.
"Loren and I are dating, and I know it won't be long before we're engaged!" Eddie adds while looking Cam in the face.
Katy, Mel and Loren's eyes widen. Loren looks at Eddie trying to figure out what the heck is he talking about!
