Sure enough, Senji kept dozing off in the stands with Eraser and Miss Joke. The other school's pro hero managed to keep his attention off of her for the most part. The first round was a combat round, with the students going after each other to get points. Eraser finally noticed her sleeping and smacked the back of her head to wake her up, which made Miss Joke burst into laughter.

"If you're gonna sleep, go wait for your classmates when they finish and keep an eye on them."

"Eh? Why," the girl complained loudly.

"That's odd, though. Shouldn't she be out there with them?," Miss Joke asked.

"Her situation is…a little different," Eraser gave a purposely vague answer, which only served to pique the other hero's curiosity more. That provided a new distraction for her guardian, so she tried again to pay attention to the events on the field below.

Suddenly something familiar crept up, and she felt a batch of scales she had forgotten about nearby. Senji lurched forward, ready to jump over the remaining rows of seats between her and the arena. Eraser caught her mid-lunge, and she nearly fell forward if not for the tight pull of his bindings. Her tail whipped side to side, and her eyes were trained hard on the rocky part of the arena. Eraser knew in an instant that something was up, and Miss Joke watched from her seat with an astonished face.

"Senji," her teacher pulled her back down from her perch, carefully releasing his hold.

"Sorry," she spoke without looking at the two adults behind her. "I'll head to the waiting room actually. I need to check something."

"Don't start anything here," Eraser warned. He knew that she wasn't just looking for a fight, but she was on alert and being careful around Miss Joke.

"Hey. half-hot bastard!"

"Hey, don't ignore me!," one of the students from another school made their way toward Senji. She'd ignored his first callout, not thinking it could possibly be for her. She glanced over at the mountainous Shiketsu student and continued trying to ignore him.

"You!"

"Hah?," She finally acknowledged him, her temper flaring for a moment. Once she looked at him directly, it hit him that he'd gotten the wrong person. He went to apologize, but flubbed between that and a newfound irritation at her attitude.

"What's with that, huh? You UA students all act like little delinquents! You should do better!," the boy shouted at her with renewed bravado.

"You approached me, you massive ass. [Piss off.]"

Senji snapped at him and walked away, finding a couch that she could sit on. There were only a few people in the waiting room right now, and a screen that panned different parts of the arena. It was currently focused on a fight between the Bakugo squad, minus one, and a student with a weird flesh-related quirk. Senji grimaced at the sight of it, just as Todoroki made his way in and was accosted by the same guy from earlier. After a brief exchange, Todoroki spotted Senji and sat on the opposite end of the couch.

"I got mixed up for you earlier, by that same idiot," Senji complained to him. She had already had the comparison once for her new haircut, and it was wearing thin.

"Sorry," he apologized in his usual dull tone.

Senji sighed and let it go, propping her head up on her hand while her tail flicked lazily at her side. A while later, Yaoyorozu and her group arrived. Jiro sat next to Senji, and they talked for a while about music and instruments. Then it was the Bakugo and Midoriya groups, who were greeted by the others. Senji remained in her spot, joined by Kirishima and Kaminari. The blonde started fidgeting with her tail, and she squirmed a little but kept her eyes closed.

"Hey, why're you in here anywa-Ah," Bakugo growled at Senji, but seeing her asleep went silent. Kirishima noticed it, but said nothing. Kaminari was fully enamored with the girl's tail and talking to the others. He skulked off to the corner of the room until the second round of testing started, which was announced with a loud buzzer into the waiting room. The sound startled Senji back to a state of alertness. She shuffled out with the test-takers, then headed back through the stands. She noticed a student sitting with a stressed out teacher, one of those who failed round one.

"See? That's what I mean, look at the UA scum!," he raised his voice so Senji could hear his poor appraisal as she passed. She looked at him and tilted her head, feigning a confused state.

"Ah! Meat guy!," she blurt out suddenly and made a face like she'd had a huge epiphany.

"Meat guy?!," that nickname clearly touched a nerve, and the purple-haired student jumped to his feet before the teacher accompanying him could stop it. Senji grinned at how easily he took the bait.

"Pfft, [my bad]. Can't just let a rude comment like that slide, though, can I?"

"Hah?! You little-"

"Seiji, enough," the timid teacher finally worked up the courage to admonish his rowdy student.

"Tch! Fine. But why's a UA brat not down there? Failed?," Seiji smirked, thinking he'd stolen at least one victory.

"Nope. Not taking the exam," Senji answered him and waved lazily as she continued past the Shiketsu group and made her way back to Eraser's side. Seiji kept trying to talk, but she lacked the energy to actually pick a fight. Besides, her standing was already in strong contention and she needed at least Eraser to be on her side.

Once the exams finished up, while the others were reviewing their scoresheets, Senji slipped away from the teachers and followed the scales she had noticed earlier. She flew up to the rooftop, and glided between buildings while the scales traveled on her prey. A ringtone echoed up, as leftover wads from the girl's Quirk plopped on the concrete. Senji strained to listen in, but couldn't make out much of interest. After the call ended, she made her move. Swooping in behind the girl, and holding a crystal blade to her throat.

"Been a while, hasn't it Toga?," she whispered in the blonde girl's ear, frowning as she caught a glimpse of the phone's lock screen.

"Not a very nice way to greet a friend, is it?," Toga growled back. Her voice was dripping with emotion, most of it malicious. She swung back with surprising force for her small frame, plunging a blade into Senji's thigh.

"Rude," Senji clicked her tongue, but didn't even flinch at the stab. Her own phone rang out, going ignored for the moment.

"Tell me where the girl is, and I'll let you go back to your friends," Senji attempted to make a deal with Toga. The flash of an old selfie struck a chord of some kind, and it made her angry. At herself, and her situation.

"You'll let me go, hm? Tomura said you were a rat, but are you really on the heroes' side? Ours? You know you'll have to pick one eventually," Toga's words cut deep. Senji pressed the blade in closer while pulling Toga's weapon out with her tail. Scales covered the wound in an instant, preventing any blood from spilling out. Toga sighed, then gave the information on the real Camie's whereabouts.

"Get lost, fast," Senji kept her end of the bargain, releasing her hold on Toga and pulling back her scales. She stared at the ground, frowning. "I won't track you this time."

"That's it? Hey, next time we should talk about that boy you like so much. Won't that be fun?"

"Go before I change my mind," Senji pointed her blade at the girl once again. Toga made a swift exit, and Senji headed toward the buses where her teacher and classmates were gathered. Eraser looked her way, staying silent for now, and noting her slight limp on one leg.
