Chapter 6: Reincarnate
"What if, and just hear me out, YOU GO FUCK YOURSELF!" Eda shouted. Harry looked down at his feet. He was sitting next to Rico in the chapel of the Rip-Off Church. Harry had decided to bring Hermione along to debrief after Leroy's escape and the two women did not get along at all. It was hateful at first sight for those two.
It had just taken one offhand flirtatious remark from Eda to get things started. Harry honestly didn't care about Eda's disposition. He had seen it too much already on other Auror assignments to be surprised by it. But Hermione's self-righteousness had gotten in the way of her better senses as an undercover witch.
The two had been throwing barbs at each other for a while now, and Rico looked over at Harry. "Do you think we should break them up?" he asked.
Harry just looked over at the two and sighed deeply. "Maybe let them go a little longer." Harry said. Hermione's face was flushed something fierce after Eda's outburst, and she retorted with a string of words that Harry could barely decipher. He turned back to Rico, "Do we even need those two? You should have the intel, right?"
"You'd be correct. In all honesty Eda wanted to rip your head off as soon as word got out about the shootout at Lagoon. But then things turned for the better." Rico said as he produced a manila folder.
"I assume you somehow got to Leroy?" Harry asked as he was handed the folder.
"That's right. The dumbass tried to seek shelter at the US Embassy in Bangkok. An official on our payroll flagged Leroy as having a fake passport. He got locked up, but our people got to interrogate him before the CBP did." Rico said. The young priest then pointed towards a specific section of the report that Harry was looking through. "Apparently Thucrit was hiding out in the same hidey-hole as another one of Leroy's recent clients, a badass maid named Roberta. We have the address here for you, so good luck with whatever you find there."
Harry nodded and perused the report some more. He was doing his best to block out the intensifying shouting match that was happening up near the altar between the two others. Eda's hands had started to twitch towards her Glock, and Hermione was also starting to fiddle, her wand hidden up her sleeve. Rico caught this behavior and tapped Harry on the shoulder.
The Auror saw the escalating situation, "Well, at least we have a new lead now. I promise not to screw up this time around. Thanks for all this." Harry said as he stood up. Rico just nodded and waved him away, getting more and more tired of this job every second that passed.
Harry walked up to the altar and stood between the two. They were still trading barbs with each other, and Harry tried for a little while to find an opening to get a word in, but the effort was futile.
Rico came up next to Harry and cleared his throat, gaining the attention of the other two. "Sis, I've given him the info." he said measuredly.
"That's Sister to you ya fuckin' brat." Eda chattered.
"Please, you're not a woman of God." Hermione said dejectedly.
"Psalms eleven-six. Let him rain coals on the wicked; fire and sulfur and a scorching wind shall be the portion of their cup." Eda said. She crossed her arms, hand dangerously close to her gun.
Harry noticed and wasn't keen to find out what her version of fire and sulfur was, he had to interject. "Hermione, let it go. We have our next lead, so let's head out." he said. He looked at his friend's fixed expression. Hands and eyes ready to face Eda's imminent attack.
But to everyone's luck the witch's better angels won her over and she stepped down from the altar and started walking towards the door. Eda's face turned into a devilish smile as she watched her adversary leave.
"Glad to have you over sweet cheeks." the nun said to Harry. "Do bring her again."
"If it's alright by you I think she'll stay behind next time." Harry said.
"Proverbs twenty-seven seventeen. Iron sharpens iron, and one man sharpens another." Eda said slyly.
"FIRST CORINTHIANS FIFTEEN THIRTY-THREE. BAD COMPANY RUINS GOOD MORALS." Hermione yelled from the doors of the chapel before vanishing outside.
"See, she's got spunk." Eda said. She blew a bubble with the gum in her mouth before waving Harry away.
Harry just sighed and decided to drop the subject. he thanked the two clergy for their intelligence before heading outside to join his partner. Hermione was sitting outside on the steps, her chin in her hands, lips pursed and pouting.
Harry took a seat next to her. "She was just giving you the run-around. You know that right?" he asked.
"I know, but I just can't stand this place sometimes. Second full day here and I've seen more debauchery and pain than I ever have in a place that's supposed to be normal." she said demurely.
"I get what you mean. But the sooner we catch Thucrit, the sooner we can get out of here." Harry said. He handed the folder from Rico to Hermione. "In there is a report from an interrogation of Leroy by the Church's people. We have the address of the hideout that Thucrit was using before she was supposed to leave town. Given how sudden everything has been, there's probably some clues left there." he said.
Hermione nodded and looked over the report for herself. "And what about the other stuff I asked for?" she asked.
"It's all in there too. Rico had to pull a lot of strings with the Thai Ministry to get that info." Harry said. He was referring to a casefile that the Thai Ministry's Office of Magical Law Enforcement had on the Hong Kong Triads, specifically the branch that Mr. Chang answered to. The report was broad, not going into many specifics. But the one standout was a figure that went by the pseudonym, 隐藏的蛇, which roughly translated to 'Hidden Snake'.
"So, this Hidden Snake person is who you should be looking into while I go after Thucrit." Harry said.
"So, if I have this right, Hidden Snake is the person responsible for Thucrit being in Roanapur from the start, right?" Hermione said.
"That's the best guess that Rico can infer. We have to play this by ear unless we can interrogate someone on the inside." Harry said. Hermione nodded and stood up. Harry followed suit and the two started to walk back towards the city.
The abandoned hotel stood near the edge of town. The thick expanse of Thai jungle wrapped around the back walls of the building. Harry and Hermione looked at the windows from across the street, trying to find any source of life or movement inside the building, if there was any. But from what they could see, there was nothing but an empty shell there.
"Well, I suppose we should head in." Harry said. He was pretending to smoke a cigarette again, pulling off a more convincing impression of the locals than Hermione was.
"Yes, now can you put that infernal thing out?" she asked. Harry complied and slammed the cigarette onto the ground, grinding it out with his heel as he started to cross the street.
Hermione took the lead and went up to the front door, which was sealed shut by a series of chains and padlocks. She looked over her shoulder and Harry covered her as she charmed open the locks one by one. The chains and padlocks fell to the ground and Hermione pushed the door open. Harry picked up the chains and locks and threw them aside by the door so no one outside would become suspicious.
The two were met by a darkened lobby of sorts. There was a long-abandoned front desk that had a few bullet holes in it from a long-forgotten skirmish. "Lumos" Hermione muttered. The glowing tip of her wand cast sharp shadows everywhere, the only other light source coming from a boarded-up window across the room from them where the stairs to the second floor were.
"Do you want to split up?" Harry asked quietly.
"Probably not the best course of action. We don't know if she's here or not." Hermione said.
Harry hummed in agreement and the two went towards a door that led to the first floor's rooms. Hermione went to turn the knob, but Harry held out a hand, she stopped her attempt and let Harry go first. He turned the knob carefully and opened the door slowly. He cracked the doorway and as he expected, he saw a wire. It was tied to the door handle on the other side, the other end being tied to the pin of a grenade mounted an inch to the side of the door frame.
Hermione saw the trap too and her brow furrowed. "Step back, I think I can defuse this." Harry said. She nodded and stepped back towards the front desk. Harry carefully weaved his hand into the doorway. He first depressed the safety lever with his palm, and with his thumb he pushed the safety pin as far back as he could. He then reached his other hand over the top and after some effort, he bent the pin up, preventing it from being pulled by the wire. He then withdrew his hands and used Sectumsempra to cut the wire.
Harry stepped back and opened the door, wiping a bit of sweat from his brow. Hermione came up next to him. "Since when did you learn how to defuse traps?" she asked.
"There was a bit of a tough situation in Belfast last year, the Ministry ordered defusal trainings for everyone after, I'll tell you the story later." he said as they slowly walked down the hallway.
They would've cleared the rooms, but they found most of the doors to have been blocked off from the other side by debris or rubble. It wasn't until they reached a room at the end of the hall when they found a door that would open, no tripwire this time to their relief.
The room inside was trashed, there was a broken-down bedframe with a stained mattress in the far corner, a ruined wardrobe, and a boarded-up window. There was trash and dust lying all around the floor.
"Doesn't look like much is here." Hermione said.
"Maybe?" Harry muttered. He raised his wand and aimed it at the bed. He levitated the wrecked furniture off the floor slightly and crashed it towards a different corner. The floor where the bed was sitting was broken up, a hole that led down a gradual slope gaped at the two.
"This place just doesn't let up with the creep factor." Hermione said.
"Got that right, but this is probably where we need to go." Harry said. He led the way down into the tunnel. He chose not to light his wand just in case there was somebody waiting to ambush them. But the walk wasn't long, a few meters of gentle slope later saw the two standing before a hefty metal door framed by concrete walls that were covered in dirt.
"Looks like an old bomb shelter." Harry remarked.
"Probably left over from the Japanese in World War Two." Hermione said, gesturing to a heavily faded kanji symbol that was half buried by soil.
Harry nodded and investigated the door. It had a big valve wheel in the center. With great effort he began to turn the rusted wheel, eventually it began to move more easily, and bits of rust flaked off as the door loosened. Harry tugged on the valve and pulled the door outwards, Hermione covering the entrance with her wand.
The room inside was dark, but Harry felt around the walls at the side of the doorway and found a switch, bringing a dim yellow light into the bunker. The setup inside looked like it was intended to be used for two or three days at most originally, but whoever had been there last had made it their own. There was a cot set up in a far corner and across from that was a desk that was littered with spare papers and books, there were also various instruments on the desk that Harry recognized from herbology classes he took so long ago at Hogwarts. If there was any doubt this wasn't Thucrit's hideout, the desk cleared them away.
The two entered the room and began their search, Hermione looked over the desk and Harry went towards the cot, where he spotted a trunk. He pulled it out into the light and charmed the lock open. Inside he found clothes and some basic hygiene supplies, scattering them over the cot as he searched for any hidden items.
Meanwhile at the desk, Hermione was skimming some of the papers. "You find anything?" she asked.
"No, mostly just clothes here, did find her gun though." Harry said back. He stood up and looked at the pistol some more. He looked at the side of it where there was an engraving, 'CZ 75 D COMPACT CAL 9 LUGER' it read.
He ejected the mag and counted fifteen rounds, with one in the chamber too. He also found two spare magazines, fully loaded too. He took out the 1911 Rico had given him and he weighed the two against each other. "I think I like this one better." Harry said as he put away the 1911 and looked down the sights of the CZ.
"Since when were you into guns?" Hermione asked as she undid the latch on a journal.
"Since Rico gave me one. They're fun to shoot if you want to try it out some time." Harry said.
"We need to focus." Hermione said as she skimmed the pages of the journal.
Harry came up beside her and looked over her shoulder. "Anything interesting?" he asked. He didn't get a direct answer as Hermione's eyes went faster, widening at each line she read.
"Harry, this has everything in it." she said. "There's mentions of the Hong Kong triad, Chang, the drugs, all of it." Hermione said excitedly.
Harry meanwhile was looking over some of the spare papers that were lying on the desk. Most of them were scrambled notes, but there were hand-drawn diagrams there too of machinery and maps of the Golden Triangle's geographic area, outlining optimal shipping routes and assessments of local military activity.
"This has got to be the motherlode." he said. Harry didn't want to linger however, so he gathered up all the spare papers and books on the desk and stuffed them into the expanded pocket of his jacket.
"What's this?" Harry asked, eyeing up a bundle of cash that was sitting on the far left corner of the desk.
Hermione's eyes widened however and she batted Harry's hand away as he reached for it. "Something feels off about that." she said as she took out her wand. She pointed at it and waved it slightly, nothing happened, but Harry decided to take a more practical approach. He looked underneath the desk and saw a metal box screwed to the underside where the cash was. His best guess was that it was hiding the electronics for a pressure pad of sorts.
Hermione was still looking at the cash when Harry's ears perked up. He heard footsteps coming along the tunnel, Hermione heard it too. Harry was quick however and he pulled out his Invisibility Cloak, it was large enough to shroud both himself and Hermione to their relief.
Harry waited in anticipation for Thucrit to walk through the door and see her stuff all disturbed. But as the footsteps grew closer, his eyes widened, there were two people approaching.
Earlier that day…
"God, I fucking hate Bangkok." Revy said. She was lounging on the couch as Rock was reviewing his notes.
"What's wrong with it?" he asked.
"It's full of fuckin' tourists who don't know shit about dick and they give me the stink eye because I carry my heat in the open." she complained.
"Sounds like a normal reaction to me." Rock said absentmindedly.
"Fuck off, if they're so scared of guns, they should stick to Sea World and Disneyland for their vacations. Besides, what's there to do in Bangkok unless you're a monk or a pervert anyways." Revy said cynically. She pulled one of her Cutlasses from her holster and ejected the mag before clearing the chamber. She then looked down at the barrel from the chamber side, letting the light from above shine on the rifling inside.
"God damnit." she said.
"Something wrong?" Rock asked, looking up from his notes.
"The rifling is starting to go. I'm gonna head to Praiyachat's while things are still quiet." Revy said as she got up from the couch.
"Well, I think I'll tag along then. I have a hunch I want to look into." Rock said. Revy sighed and grabbed the car keys.
The two drove through the streets of Roanapur in relative silence, Revy cranking the radio loud, Rock getting the signal that she really didn't feel like talking. He took the time to look over his notes again. Since the shootout at the dock, he had been trying to figure out a new approach to the search. And thankfully he had a name at least in Malee Thucrit to go off. But he also couldn't help but feel like this whole situation was similar to the maid incident from a while back, especially Leroy's role in it all. They eventually stopped in front of the old gunsmith's shop and Revy got out, Rock following behind her.
The door to the shop rang and the owner looked up from his workbench where he was tinkering with a revolver. "Rebecca, good to see you again." he said, standing up from his stool.
"Came in for a check-up." Revy said as she drew her pistols, ejecting the mags and chambered bullets before handing them off to the gunsmith. The old man examined the guns and walked over to this workbench, shoving aside the piece he was working on previously. Revy lit up a cigarette and turned back to Rock, who was still looking at his notes near the door.
"So where exactly did you want to go after this?" she asked.
Rock looked up from his notes, "I've just been thinking about how similar this whole thing is to the situation with Roberta. So why not stop by the same place Leroy was hiding her before. Maybe he's reusing the same spot." he said.
"That would be a dumbass move on his part." Revy said.
"It would, but if you think about it, Leroy's never been the smoothest operator around here." Rock said. At least Revy could agree to that. By the time they had finished talking the gunsmith had finished his work and they left after paying for the new barrels.
Rock took the wheel this time. Revy meanwhile was fiddling with her pistols, Praiyachat having realigned the sights and oiled the moving parts while replacing the barrels. "Damn, I was just getting used to the old ones too." Revy muttered.
"Your sights out of whack?" Rock asked, trying to make conversation.
"Nah, he realigned them, but after I was put in the lockup at the police station some idiot adjusted the sights for a laugh. I only just got used to them." she said.
"But couldn't you realign them yourself?" Rock asked as they stopped at an intersection.
"I've been busy." Revy said.
"Doing what?" Rock asked. He knew for sure that the company hadn't gotten any big jobs since the last incident with Jane and the hackers.
"Fuck off, you know what." Revy chided. Rock decided to let it go, there was nothing to be done with that conversation. They were pulling up to the building where Leroy had kept Roberta hidden.
"Still don't think we'll find shit here. Everyone knows about this place now." Revy said.
"I know, but it's not like I have any better ideas at the moment." Rock said. "Besides, isn't there value in hiding in plain sight?"
"Suppose so, but still. This would be a dangerous move, even for Leroy's stupid ass." Revy said. The two walked up to the front door, and Rock tried the handle. The door opened easily. He had been expecting a lock.
"Weird." Rock muttered. He stepped inside and looked around the lobby.
"Hey Rock." Revy said. She had one of her pistols out and ready, she nodded down to a pile of chains and locks. They weren't dusty enough to have been kept inside along with everything else.
Rock nodded and let Revy take the lead at the next door that led to the rooms. She cracked the door to check for traps, and she saw the cut wire that was still attached to the pin of a grenade. She motioned Rock over, "Someone's been here." she said quietly.
"How recently?" Rock asked.
"Dunno, could be days, or minutes." Revy said as she opened the door. "Stay here, I'll tell you when to come up." Revy said. She started down the hall, but Rock noticed something.
"Revy, all the doors are shut except that one at the end." he said. She gazed down the hall and nodded. She raised both of her pistols and carefully made her way towards the door. She took cover at the side of the frame. She waved and Rock followed suit, taking cover next to her. Revy then peeked past the doorway, and she saw the room inside, a bed flipped against a wall, and a tunnel bored into the floor.
Harry's breath was still, and Hermione's heart was racing at a million bpm. Revy stepped into the room, iron at the ready. Her partner, Rock, was just behind her, carefully surveying the room in case he needed to take cover.
"Somethin's off." Revy said, she turned her pistols around the room, but Rock seemed to lighten up a little bit.
"It looks empty to me, and I don't see any traps." Rock said reassuringly.
"Nah, you don't get it. There's something in the air, atmosphere is fucked." Revy said ominously. She prowled around the room as Rock went towards the desk. She came close to where Harry and Hermione were, which was at the foot of the cot. Hermione covered her mouth and Harry held his breath as Revy looked right at them, her guns two inches from their hearts. The gunslinger turned away though and the invisible ones sighed quietly in relief.
"There really isn't much left here." Rock said. "Thucrit must've taken everything when she left."
"What about all this metal shit." Revy asked, joining Rock at the desk. Harry hadn't had the time to clear off the various herbology instruments that were there, just the paperwork.
"It looks like chemistry equipment if I had to guess. Maybe Benny would be able to find something on it?" Rock said questioningly.
"Maybe, but what about this cash?" Revy asked cheerfully. Her love of money couldn't be outmatched, and she reached for the bills.
Harry and Hermione's eyes widened, but it was the witch who made the move. She lunged out from underneath the cloak, "NO!" she shouted. But it was too late, Revy had picked up the cash, and several clicking noises were heard, and four flashbangs fell from hidden places in the ceiling.
"THE FUCK-" Revy managed to get out before the flash overwhelmed everyone in the room with blinding light and loud ringing.
Harry had thought of something like this, so he had closed his eyes, but it was still all for nought. The last thing he saw in that room was the figure of Malee Thucrit at the doorway. She sent a stunner at him first, then took down Revy and the remaining two before any of them knew what was happening. It was a textbook takedown.
It felt like a long time before Harry was able to open his eyes again. He surveyed his surroundings and saw that he was within one of the abandoned rooms in the building, maybe on the second floor if he had to guess. He saw across from him Revy, whose hands were cuffed to a pipe. Harry checked himself too and he was cuffed to a bedframe that was nailed solidly into the ground.
He was going to call out to Revy when the door opened. Thucrit walked in and shut the door behind her. Revy stirred at the movement and opened her eyes. She surveyed the situation too and growled.
"Like a tiger in a cage." Thucrit said while pulling up a chair. Her voice was softer than Harry expected, her tone even, almost professional to a degree.
"Fuckin' find out what happens when I break outta here!" Revy said angrily, struggling against the cuffs.
"I don't think you will get out of here, at least not in time to save your companion." Thucrit said, a devilish smile growing on her face. "In all honesty Two Hand, I wouldn't lose a damn thing if I killed you right now." the witch taunted, twirling her wand with her fingers.
"With a stick like that? Please bitch." Revy spat.
Thucrit just giggled and aimed the wand at the gunslinger. "Crucio" she purred.
Revy's muscles seized up and her legs spasmed. She tried to keep it together for a time, but she screamed out bloody murder. Harry winced at the move even if it only lasted for a few seconds. Thucrit lifted her wand and the curse. Revy slumped over and breathed deeply. The witch turned to Harry next.
"Now, you're the one I'm really interested in, what's a legend like Harry Potter doing in a place like this?" Thucrit asked.
Harry just kept silent. He was recalling his interrogation defensive training to a tee. Unless his captor had Veritaserum, he determined to be a tough nut to crack.
"I suppose that you think I'm going to interrogate you, curse you, torture you." Thucrit said, her inflection emphasizing the last part of her phrase. "But I'm not going to do that." she said. Revy looked up at her, hatred seeping out with tears.
"Who the FUCK are you?" she demanded.
"I was just getting to that, idiot. Now shut it." Thucrit said, waving her wand again, giving Revy another jolt of pain. The gunslinger seized up again and slumped over.
"You see, I think you're here for the wrong reason, for the wrong person." Thucrit said, turning to Harry. "I bet you were told by the Thai Ministry that I was a Death Eater, and your Ministry was pressured to clean me up. Am I right."
"More or less." Harry said through gritted teeth.
"Well, your facts are wrong. I'm not a Death Eater, never was, never wanted to be. But my grandfather on the other hand, now there's your real target." Thucrit said. "He was living here in Roanapur decades ago when the Dark Lord came into the port. It wasn't more than a fishing village at that point, the people not having been corrupted by the Vietnam defectors and the criminals they attracted."
"Who the fuck cares about your Dark Lord?" Revy growled, her temperament not allowing her to stay silent for long.
"Sometimes is better to just sit back and observe." Thucrit said, waving her wand towards Revy again. but instead of pain, nothing obvious happened. The gunslinger had tensed in preparation for the torture, but when she tried to speak again, no words came out. not even a sound. Her eyes widened at the phenomenon, and she continued to try and yell at her captor to no avail.
"Well then, where were we?" Thucrit said, turning back to Harry. "Yes, the Dark Lord and my grandfather. The two of them got on quite well. Apparently, Voldemort wanted to know everything and anything about my grandfather's talents with the Imperious Curse. After some time, the Dark Lord left, however. But not before bringing my grandfather to the great city of Hong Kong, charging him with building an infrastructure that the Dark Lord could use in the supposed 'coming war' with the Muggles."
"But you seemed to have ruined all of that." Thucrit said.
"Indeed, and I'd do it again." Harry taunted.
Revy looked at the exchange, seemingly having accepted her muteness. Her expression was confused and worried. In her mind she was trying to figure out what the hell they were talking about. Dark Lords? Imperious Curses? Muggles? Just who were these people?
Thucrit laughed, her captives had been more candid than she expected them to be. "And I'd thank you for getting rid of him, but then you came here and started hunting me." she said. "You see, I never wanted to be in this business. But my grandfather saw my talents for potions and herbology, and he forced me to become his little drug slut. He tried to play it ideologically. Saying that my efforts to get the Muggles addicted and dependent on drugs would be a 'great boon' in the war to come."
Harry's jaw was set, and Thucrit noticed, "But you should already know that's bullshit. He's just a greedy old man at heart." she said. "In fact, last time I was back visiting him, I told him as much to his face, he didn't take kindly."
Revy began to struggle more audibly against her restraints and gained the attention of her captor. Thucrit looked at Harry, "You think we should tell her?" she asked.
"I'd just erase her memory anyway." Harry said.
Thucrit giggled again, "That's assuming you got out of here in one piece." she chided. "Anyways, my grandfather didn't take my rebelliousness lightly, and he pulled some strings in the Thai Ministry, sending a squad of those fools after me. They fell easily enough." the witch said, relishing in her recounting of the skirmish.
"But now that you know the whole story, I think we're done here." Thucrit said as she stood up. She made for the door but stopped before she left. "You know, I don't think I've made this fair." she said. She then produced Harry's wand and tossed it onto the floor near Revy. "Maybe she can find a use for it. And here's your voice back, I'd like to hear you scream a little more before you die of dehydration."
The witch waved her wand and Revy audibly gasped, "FUCKIN' BITCH, AS IF I'D DIE IN A DUMP LIKE THIS!" she said as the door slammed shut. "FUCK!" the gunslinger shouted, slamming her heels onto the floor.
Harry was looking at his wand, trying to nonverbally summon it to his bound hands, but the spell was too complex. Revy noticed his efforts, however.
"Just what the fuck are you freaks up to?" Revy asked. She maneuvered her legs and managed to kick the wand back into her hands.
Harry dejectedly watched the move, but Revy wasn't impressed by his silence. "Didn't you hear me tweedle-dick? Tell me just what the fuck is going on or I'll break this stupid fuckin' stick you seem to want so much." the gunslinger taunted.
Harry looked down in defeat, "Fine." he said, "I want you to try something. Aim the tip of that wand at the lock on your handcuffs and say alohomora."
Revy looked at him like he was sprouting a second head, "And just what the fuck is that gonna do?" she asked aggressively.
"Just do it." Harry said, "I saw you fight at the docks. I have a hunch."
"So, it was you who tried to get me in the office wasn't it?" Revy deduced.
"Yes, and I'd love to go over it with you, but the way I see it, we have a common enemy now. And either you do as I say or toss that wand over to me." Harry said firmly.
"But you said you'd erase my memory didn't you, what fuckin' good will come from that?" Revy retorted.
"I was just playing to her tune. I won't do anything you wouldn't want me to." Harry said.
"But who's to say that I would even remember such a promise if you took it out of my goddamn head. It's a Catch-22, asshole." Revy said.
"I know, the only thing that you can go on now is my trust. But we both know we can't stay like this. So, like I said, aim that wand at the cuffs, say alohomora, and once you're free get me out too, I have some guns in my pocket if you'd like to use those." Harry said. Remarkably he still had his jacket on him, and he could feel all the contents still within the inside pocket. it seems like Thucrit was in such a rush that she didn't do a proper search.
Revy started daggers into Harry's eyes, but he held firm. "Fuck it." Revy said. She aimed the wand as best as she could at the cuffs, and said the magic word, "Alohomora."
