Voice of the Siren: Prologue
Vulna, the nation of the Argyros knights, honored the will and memory of the Water and Darkness Guardians, Satone and Aslan. Being the most industrial land, full of cities built for manufacturing technology of great importance, Vulna quickly became the third most prosperous nation behind Igarus and Oroseia.
In the Grand Siren Museum, built in honor of the Water Guardian, a pink-haired lady walked in step with a Vulnan Knight, the same who was present at Jurabi's court hearing with the Hunter Council, General Silver.
"I understand how frustrating this is for you, Miss Reevus, but the higher-ups believe this calling card too dangerous to ignore," Silver explained to the pink-haired woman.
The woman's long ears twitched as she opened her ocean-blue eyes to look at the white-haired knight. "Oh, my darling Prince Silver~!" She said, clutching a hand over her chest, "How flattered I am at your concern for my mental health; however, I, Sakuya Reevus, must be upfront." She glanced around at the countless Vulnan Knightsmen stationed around the Grand Siren Museum, running inspections everywhere, "You must admit this is just awful for my business. Whatever will I do, should your dashing knights scare off my customers?"
"I assure you that once the night is over, we will leave as quickly as we arrived," Silver said, "There's no doubt in our mind that this calling card came from Drago Fuchou and his gang of thieves."
"Drago Fuchou…I've heard of that name," Sakuya said, resting a hand under her chin, "Those are the hooligans who steal valuable treasure?"
"Indeed," Silver answered, "We believe they are after the museum's most sacred relic."
"Ah…Sakuya whispered as they made their way to the center altar, where behind a glace case display was an old, rusty flute, "The Flute of Satone, but for what purpose, though? No one has been able to play it in centuries."
"With all due respect, an artifact doesn't need to be useful to be worth millions, maybe billions," Silver said, "And given how his reputation requires him to steal from the rich, he'll come looking for that relic."
"In that case, I'm happy to have you he-"
However, the lights suddenly went out, creating nothing but pitch darkness throughout the area.
"Wh-What?!" Sakuya shouted.
"A blackout! Defensive positions, everyone!" Silver shouted.
Throughout the chaos of the soldiers maneuvering through the pitch dark and activating their flashlights, they circled the Flute of Satone to prepare for any attempted theft.
However, a deep chuckle sounded within the room, causing the soldiers to stay alert.
"Really? Is this all the security you had, General Silver?" A deep voice called, "Hate to be that faunus, but that's rather underwhelming."
"That voice…" Silver said with a growl, "Show yourself, Drago! I know you're here!"
"Oh please, General, if you knew I was here, I would have failed hours ago," Drago's voice said.
"Wait…" Silver's eyes widened as he turned to the direction of the flute, "The Flute!" He shouted as the knights flashed their lights on the altar only to see that the flute had vanished.
"Oh no…the museum's precious relic!" Sakuya shouted.
"Damnit!" Silver shouted, "Spread out and search every corning of this place in and out!" He then pointed to three knights, "You, you, and you! Come with me!"
"Yes, sir!"
"Miss Reevus, I suggest you go with the knights to avoid a potential kidnapping," Silver said to the long eared woman.
"It's…I'm okay…" Sakuya panted, "I appreciate…the offer, my dear…prince, but please, you must…get the flute b…ac…k!"
However, Sakuya passed out without a hint or a sign, nearly hitting the floor before Silver caught her mid-fall.
"MISS REEVUS!" Silver screamed, shaking for her to wake up, "WE NEED A MEDIC HERE, STAT!"

Meanwhile, on the high rooftops of the tallest buildings in Mariana, the capital city of Vulna, the familiar komodo dragon, Drago Fuchou stared at the stolen Flute of Satone now in his possession, letting out a whistle of approval.
"Looks like a wood stick," he concluded, chuckling a little, "Was this really worth the effort of breaking through such a heavily guarded place?"
His partner, Zima, who was responsible for the blackout, rolled her eyes, "Does it matter to us? Our clients requested the relic, so it's up to them whether it's a piece of junk."
"I know that, Zima," Drago said, "If I hadn't, I would have accepted this job. Still, I do wonder what they would want with this thing?"
