Luz watched as Willow handed Hunter the paper. "Heh, it has been done!" she whispered as she ran away.
"Here, Hunter," Willow said.
"Hm?" Hunter said, turning around and accepting the paper. "What's this?"
"Luz said that your teacher forgot to give this to you."
"My teacher?" Hunter asked quietly, looking at the paper. He flipped it over, then turned it back around. He noticed really small words on the front face of the paper. 'Ha ha, gotcha!'
He looked back at Willow. "It doesn't say anything..."
"Weird," Willow said. "Do you think that Luz was pranking you, handed you the wrong paper, or that the teacher forgot to write something?" Hunter didn't reply. "Hunter? Are you okay?" Willow asked, walking closer to him.
"There, problem solved," Luz said to herself in her locker. It closed. She screamed at Amity staring at her. "What problem?" Amity asked sternly.
"No problem, just...my homework!" Luz replied quickly.
"Luz, what did you do?"
"I didn't do anything! I didn't meddle in Hunter's love life! I definitely didn't give him a love potion!" Luz covered her mouth. "What love potion?" Amity asked, strictly.
"The, uh, one I never gave him! Who is this 'Hunter?'" Luz replied quickly.
"Luz!"
"Okay, okay! I'm sorry! I couldn't help it! He was so helpless!"
"Luz! I told you not to do that! You don't know how strong love potions can be!"
"'Strong?'" Luz repeated. "They have strengths?"
"Of course they have different strengths!" Amity cried, throwing her hands into the air. "Which one did you give him? Let me see!"
Luz reopened her locker and pulled out a recipe. "This one."
"Oh, thank Titan. It's not a strong one," Amity sighed. "But you still gave him one."
"Yeah, I know. I'm sorry," Luz said, slumping her shoulders.
"I don't care how helpless he was or is, you need to make an anti potion!" Luz said.
"A what now?"
"You have to give him one that takes off the effects of the love potion you gave him. We call those anti potions."
"Why?"
"I don't know! I'm not a potions master!"
"But I know who is," Luz said, smiling.
"Eda," Amity and Luz said in unison.
"I'll have to talk to her-"
"After school," Amity interrupted.
"Yeah, right."
"Hunter?" Willow asked, waving a hand in front of his eyes. "Are you okay?"
He blinked. "Did anyone ever tell you how pretty your eyes are?" he asked.
"Oh my Titan! You've lost your mind!"
"I haven't lost anything," Hunter said, looking around. He pulled his pockets inside out. "Actually, I did loose my pencil..."
"Gus!" Willow called. Gus looked from across the hallway. "Willow? You good?" He joined them. "Hunter's lost his mind!" she cried.
Gus looked at him. "Nah, he's just looking for his pencil," Gus said, watching Hunter scan the floor. Hunter picked it up and then pocketed it again. "No, I mean..." Willow walked back over to Hunter. "What did you say Hunter?"
"I lost my pencil?" he checked.
"No, the other one."
"That your eyes are beautiful?" Willow looked at Gus while pointing at Hunter with both her arms. "Okay, point proven."
"I think it was that paper I gave him," Willow said.
"What paper?" Gus asked.
"This one," Willow said, grabbing it from Hunter, who continued to stare at her, mesmerized. Gus examined the paper, front and back face. "I don't even see anything on it," Gus said, using a spell circle to check for illusions.
"Maybe it was a trick? But Luz gave it to me!"
"Maybe we should ask Luz then," Gus suggested.
"I'll stay with Hunter. You know, to help him?"
"You just want him to compliment you," Gus said, smiling at Willow.
"No! I don't!" Willow cried, her face turning red.
"Mhm, sure," Gus said, waving his hand in a circle as he walked away.
"Hunter, you okay?" Willow asked once Gus was out of earshot.
"I've never been better," he replied. "Just staring at you makes me better." Willow's cheeks became flushed. "Would you stop that!"
"Stop what?"
"Complimenting me! It's creeping me out!"
Hunter stared at her. He didn't answer. "And stop looking at me!" She turned towards her locker and tickled it open. Hunter stopped looking at her. He opened his locker, which happened to be next to Willow's, but continued to glance at her.
"I can still feel you staring at me!" she yelled. Hunter quickly looked away.
