The next morning, Lance woke up early to check on Jack. He entered Jack's world to see him in his Nega boss's form and saw was looking at a box. "Hello, Jack," he said, though he was a bit concerned about the sadness radiating off the boy. "What are you looking at?" he asked curiously. Jack gave the box to lance while pointing to a statue of Amelia as an angel. "It's for Amelia?" Lance asked as he noted the size of the box and his eyes widened. "Is this...what I think it is?"
The Nega boss nodded and made lance close both his hands around the box. Seeing the boy was entrusting him with something especially important, Lance carefully tucked the box away safely in one of his pockets. "I'll keep it safe, Jack, until the day comes." Jack nodded and rested his head in his arms. The negati that looks like music notes cooed sadly. They spoke to lance and what they said had concerned Lance. "Let me know the moment he slips too far into negativity," he told the Negati. "We can't risk him falling too deep. If he does...," He did not finish his sentence, but the Negati knew that if Jack fell too far into depression, the others would not be able to save him.
lance put the ring box in his pocket and put a hand on his shoulder. "I'll hold it for you for safekeeping," he said, knowing that if he did give the ring to Amelia now, it would not be good. He wanted Jack to be able to propose to Amelia when all their hearts were balanced. He left but stayed nearby. "Good luck, children," he said, truly hoping they could overcome the trials they were about to face.
Amelia slowly woke up to the sound of people talking outside of her room. She thought that last night was just a weird dream. She sat up from her bed and rubbed her eyes tiredly." Dad … is that you? What happen last night?" Amelia looked up to see that she was not in her room at home but rather something from a fantasy novel. Then she started to remember what had happened last night and jumped out of bed. "Jack… I need to find him to save him and apologized to him."
She went to open the door and went down the hallway to hear people talking, pausing to notice it was Balan, Miko, and Raf talking about her. She overhears Miko and Raf tell him about how they met her. Balan spots her and motions her to join them. "Good morning, Amelia," he greeted, waving over to her and her two friends turned to her. "Amelia!" Miko said in relief, hugging her friend. Raf joined in on the hug and Amelia hugged them both.
"You really scared us when you ran off," the boy said, tearing up. "Guys I am so sorry for running off and I am so sorry for last night. I am still learning to trust people." " cried Amelia, squeezing them. "Understandable, my dear. Miko and Raf informed me of the situation, and I can understand how your trust was evaluated," Balan said. Raf and Miko smiled but tried to breathe. "Amelia, while we love hugs, can we breathe, please? Raf and I are turning blue from lack of oxygen." " Miko asked, hiding a wince. "Yeah. You are strong," Raf said, struggling to breathe. "Oh, right," she said, letting them go. "Sorry guys... but how did you find me?" Said Amelia letting them go. Miko gasped for air while Raf coughed," a giant bird like thing kidnapped Raf and we followed them here."
"Giant bird thing?" The girl asked.
Balan chuckled. "A Tim," he said, gesturing to some Tims that were coming up to them, one of them being quite large. "They can grow to large sizes after eating a special treat, but do not worry. They are very gentle and playful." As if to prove Maestro's point, the giant Tim went up to him and Balan gently stroked its head before feeding it something that sparkled, which caught the kids' attention. "What is that?" Raf asked curiously.
"Crystal drops," Balan replied, smiling. "It's the Tims' favorite snack." He beckoned them closer. "Here, you three can help me feed the other giant tims." Miko, Amelia and Raf were nervous at first, but they fed the giant tims.
Lance came up to them and he smiled at seeing them all awake. "Good morning, young ones," he said, smiling. "Morning, Lance," Miko said. "Um...how's Jack doing?"
"I'm afraid he's still in despair, young one, but other than that, he is well. Some of my Negati are keeping him company." Amelia hugged herself while thinking what happened last night, saying to Jack that she did not trust it. Lance noticed this and saw negativity surrounding her." My dear, it is not your fault. Someone clouded your judgment and made you believe that your soulmate was attempting to break your heart." Amelia looked at him and nodded. But Miko and Raf still can tell that she is terribly upset. "You guys said last night that Jack needs our help to...I guess return to normal?" He asked. "How do we do that?"
Balan smiled. "You three must take a journey to heal your hearts first before you can help to heal Jack's heart," he said gently. "Like a quest?" Miko asked while hugging the tim. "Yes," Lance said with a nod. "Four new worlds appeared last night on the Isle of Tims and from a glance, I'd hazard a guess that they are your own worlds."
"He is safe for the time being," Balan said. "But he does need your help, along with Miko and Raf's help." Lance came up to them and he smiled at seeing them all awake. "Good morning, young ones," he said, smiling.
"Morning, Lance," Miko said. "Um...how's Jack doing?" Lance looked saddened and worried. "I'm afraid he's still in despair among one, but other than that, he is well. Some of my Negati are keeping him company." Raf looked worried while he saw Miko trying to calm Amelia. "You guys said last night that Jack needs our help to...I guess return to normal?" He asked. "How do we do that?"
Balan smiled. "You three must take a journey to heal your hearts first before you can help to heal Jack's heart," he said gently.
"Like a quest?" Miko asked.
"Yes," Lance said with a nod. "Four new worlds appeared last night on the Isle of Tims and from a glance, I'd hazard a guess that they are your own worlds." Miko squared her shoulders. "And we're going to help you show that shallow girl that you and Jack are in love and would never leave each other," she said. "She's right," Raf said. "If we don't, Sierra will think she's won. We need to show her that no matter what she does, Jack is never going to get back together with her."
Balan smiled at the two of them and looked at Amelia. "What do you say, Amelia? Will you partake in this quest to save the one you love? To prove that love truly will conquer the negativity of the girl trying to break you two apart?" He asked. "It's not going to be an easy journey," Lance cautioned. "But if you stick with it, the rewards at the end will be more than fulfilling. Both Balan and I can guarantee that."
Amelia took a deep breath and nodded, "Okay, we are ready."
The three friends joined hands and Balan smiled. "Follow me," he said, guiding them to the doors that led to the Isle of Tims. The kids were shocked when they saw a giant tower in the center and the Tims were playing on it. "Whoa," Miko said in awe. "What's that?"
"The Clock of Happiness," Lance replied, smiling. "It not only is a vital part of our home, but it is also a play area for the Tims." Raf looked at the many gears and pulleys. "Wow," he said. "Does it run on magic?"
"Partially," Balan replied. "It also runs on the positive emotions of the visitors and inhabitants."
Amelia was amazed then suddenly she got tackled by Tim that led her there. "Aww good morning cutie." said Amelia nuzzling Tim but then realized her friends were around her. she coughed in her fist and fixed herself. Miko giggled and she picked a baby one up and it snuggled in her hands, chirping happily. "Chillax, Mel," she said. "It's cool. Plus, who does not love these cute creatures?" The red cat Tim nuzzled Amelia and chirped. "That Tim is attached to you." Said Balan, looking curious. He has never seen a Tim get attached to people before. "He's really cute," Amelia said, petting him.
"Hey Balan."
The Maestro of positivity and the maestro of negativity looked up to see the inhabitants coming over and seeing the newcomers. Amelia took a few steps back from the group while Miko and Raphael introduced themselves. Lance noticed this and gently placed his hand on Amelia's shoulders. "It's alright," he soothed. "They are good people." Amelia took a deep breath and went over to a kid working on a plane. He had fair skin, green hair, and brown eyes. He wears an orange sleeveless vest with a grey hood, a white long-sleeve shirt with a green stripe around the neck, green capris pants, and orange and white sneakers. He also wears brown and gold pilot goggles.
He smiled as he saw her. "Hi, my name is Haoyu," he said. "How are you?"
"Okey with all things consider... Hey are you working on a jet engine?"
"Yeah," he said. "So that my plane can fly high. I love flying."
Amelia smiled and watched him work. She remembers that when she was a little kid, she was into fixing up cars and winning races for charity in her hometown. Her biological uncle, who was a cruel man, used her for money by racing in illegal street races. "Nice I prefer cars to go fast. I used to street racing. now I race for charity."
"Cool," he said. "Hey, do you think you could help me with this? I think it's got a leak somewhere, but I can't seem to find where it is coming from." Nodded, she began to look and noticed that it was a glider engine. 'Easy fix' she thought as fixed it all up. Haoyu looked amazed at how she fixed it. Amelia wipes her hand with an old rag, "That should do it."
"Wow, you do know your engines," Haoyu said, impressed.
Balan smiled at seeing the three making friends. Miko seemed super excited to talk to Lucy about art and Yuri was smiling as Raf was helping her with one of the bugs she was caring for. Amelia and her friends looked like they were having fun but needed to focus on the situation at hand. "We need to find Jack," she said. "I have a feeling something bad happened to him." A blonde hair boy came up to her," who's Jack and what's wrong?" Lance looked guilty and explained what happened to everyone.
"The boy came here, saddened by an event that happened earlier. I met with him in hopes of bringing him to Balan, but the boy was almost consumed by negativity."
Sana gasped. "Lance," she said, realizing what happened. "The boy is now...?"
"A Negaboss, as we once were?" Eis asked.
"Yes," the darker being said. "Jack grabbed my hand and because he was almost consumed by the negativity, his transformation happened too fast for me to stop it."
They saw how guilty Lance looked. Cass went up to him. "Did you mean for him to become a Negaboss?" She asked.
"No, I didn't," he said truthfully.
He felt a hand on his shoulder and saw it was Iben, who nodded. "I believe him," she said. "Lance wouldn't be showing remorse for his actions if he meant for the boy to be transformed."
Amelia nodded. "Plus, he's making sure Jack is safe," she said, looking at Lance. "He promised me he would."
"A promise that will never be broken, my dear," Lance said with a nod."How much time do we have before Jack is gone?" Miko asked. "Normally there is no time constraint, but due to Jack being consumed by grief and giving in to negativity, time is of the essence to free him," Balan said. "Brother, how long does Jack have?"
"I truly don't know," Lance replied. "But if I was to guess, I'd say not more than a few days at best."
"Where do we find him?" Raf said. "In his world, but it is locked off for the time being," the maestro of negativity said. "So, we have to find a key?" Miko asked, confused. "Yes and no," Emma said, calmly. "What do you mean?" Amelia asked. "Well, if you three are here too, I'm guessing all three of you need to have your own hearts healed before finding your friend," Leo said. "Emma and I had to do the same to find the missing pieces of our own hearts."
"The boy speaks the truth," Bruce said with a nod. Raf nodded. "Okay," he said. "So... Where do we start then?" Balan snapped his fingers and three doors appeared. One had tech and hard drives, another had guitars and music sheets and the final one had roads and cars round it. "These are your worlds," he explained. "You must go through each one before you can go rescue Jack."
Miko's jaw dropped. "Whoa," she said in shock.
Emma giggled a little. "If just the door's appearance impresses you, wait until you see the world inside," she said. "It's huge."
"Really?" Amelia asked. "Like how big are we talking?"
Leo grinned. "Let's go see," he said, not wanting to spoil the surprise. "You guys pick one. Emma and I will guide you."
"The costumes cast will also be assisting you," Lance said. "Be careful of the traps and don't lose hope," Balan cautioned. "For if you three lose hope...then Jack will be lost." Amelia took a deep breath and clenched her fists, looking up with eyes filled with resolve. "I won't let that happen," she declared. "We won't either," Miko said and Raf nodded. The group went over to Raf's door and open the door to start their mission.
