"Well! That was a rollercoaster, wouldn't you say? Chiaki became the heroine of Hyrule and her home… and lived long enough to become the villain. That quote gets truer all the time, I swear." He chuckled.
"Oh well, not my problem. I'm sure that universe is in good capable hands."
He went looking through different universes once more, then spotted something that caught his attention. "Oh? Ooooooh! Spicy!"
He looked up with a smirk. "So! We all know the firecracker's story. Searched everywhere for her mother, punched the daylights out of her in space, not to mention she's got an attitude… all of that fun stuff! However… let's say her story was a bit different. How would you like her as… I dunno, a belly dancer?"
What If… Yang was a Half-Genie?
"Knowing her, she'd be turning heads! Hahahaha!"
(Friendly Warning: Fanservice. That is all.)
Out in the middle of the ocean was a large peaceful island that held a small village. There was also a shack near the water, home to the Half-Genie herself.
It was definitely a peaceful time at the island.
BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!
…Usually peaceful.
"HOHOHOHOHOHO!" A voice cried as a pirate ship came through. "Wakey wakey, Goldi Island! Risky Boots is here to plunder your treasure! Ohohohoho! Consider this an honor!"
BGM: Neo Burning Town (Shantae: Half Genie Hero)
The shack's door opened where Yang burst out of the door. Her hair was tied up in a ponytail held by a red scrunchie and also wore dark orange fingerless gloves with fire decals. She wore a yellow bikini top with fire decals, the strap was wrapped around her neck and both sides of the bra was held together by a ring. However, it did show off the top of her breasts, some side boob and of course, some underboob as well.
She also wore a yellow bikini bottom that covered her butt but was also showing off her thighs while also wearing red sandals.
"What the heck…?" She wondered as she saw Risky's ship. "Risky!" She growled as she took off running, magic circling around her hands as Risky jumped off of her ship, scimitar in hand.
"Make sure no treasure is unchecked!" Risky declared.
"Oi! You got some nerve showing up on my island!"
Risky turned her head, seeing Yang already in mid air as she fire punched her, but Risky gracefully backflipped. "My my, are you the guardian of this island?"
"Got that right!" She said, squaring up.
"Ah, so if you're the guardian, that must make you a Half-Genie!"
"How do you know of my power?"
"Because I've faced some island guardians myself and they were all half genies."
"What…? I thought I was the only one."
Risky laughed. "You really are naive if you think you're the only half genie in Remnant! Hohoho! This day just got even better!" She pulled out her flintlock. "I wonder how many bullets you can muster before your aura runs out."
Magic swelled within Yang's hands as she got in a fighting stance, her breasts bouncing. "Bring it."
"HONK."
"Hmm?" Risky turned her head to see the Goose charging at her, flapping his wings. "A goose? …Wait, you're Mayor Goose. Your reputation precedes you from the seven seas and all of Remnant. You're the reason why anyone hardly invades Goldi Island!"
Risky smirked. "Let me tell you… I'm not afraid of some damn poultry!" She raised her scimitar at him. "En garde, you pathetic… uh…" She blinked, noticing her hand was free. "What…?" She wondered as she noticed that the Goose already held it in his beak. "HUH?! How'd you do that?!"
Yang laughed, folding her arms. "And now you know why he's the fiercest bird in all of Remnant."
Risky smirked. "Alright. I'll just make an example of you and-" She noticed she was not holding her flintlock as well. "Huh?!"
The Goose also had it, casually holding it on his foot. The Goose let out a few honks, as if he was laughing at her.
"You dare laugh at me… the queen of the seven se-" Yang shoved her fist into her cheek hard enough for Risky's aura to shatter, sending her sliding several feet.

"Nnngh… so it's true. You're the strongest Half Genie in the world."
Risky smirked, wiping her mouth. "Not bad if I say so myself." She chuckled and smirked at Yang. "I have to say, I'm mildly impressed… you take after your mother!"
Yang gasped, her eyes widened. "My mother?"
"Ooops, I said too much~" Risky giggled. "Boys, we're making a retreat!" She said as she pulled out a flashbang grenade. "Ta ta~"
"Wait, what do you know about my moth-" Risky threw a flashbang down, blinding everyone as Risky was back on her ship. When the blinding light cleared, the Goose noticed that the scimitar and the gun were out of his possession.
"We'll meet again, bimbo! And I'll make poultry out of you someday too, "mayor"!"
The Goose waddled up to Yang. "Honk?"
"Yeah, I'm okay…" She chuckled, gently stroking his head. "Where would we be without ya, bird brain?"
The Goose let out a friendly honk, patting Yang on the back with his wing and then waddled off.
"My mother…" She looked off into the sky.
Several years earlier, when Yang was just a baby…
Raven dropped the ground, holding a baby Yang in her arms. She wore a red bikini that showed off her assets while also reading a red bikini that actually showed off her butt as her hair was tied up in a braid.
She gently dropped the sleeping Yang on a porch, a tear escaping her eye. "Oh Yang… I've wanted so dearly to raise you… but with Salem hunting genies… I can't put you in harms way… I need to face her myself."
She gently kissed her on the forehead. "I love you…" She whispered, some more tears falling as she knocked on the door, then she levitated off the ground as she flew off right as Pietro opened the door and saw the little baby. He looked up to see Raven off in the distance.
"A genie?" Pietro wondered before he looked down and gently picked Yang up, then went back inside the home as Raven watched on, before she turned around and flew off.
I'll come back for you when I destroy Salem…
Back in the present…
"My mother… who was she?" She wondered, while eating some fish.
"Yang, are you okay?"
Yang turned her head to see Pietro walking over along with Penny. "Oh, hey uncle Pietro. Hey Penny."
"The mayor was a bit concerned so I thought we'd come to check on you." He said while Penny sat down next to her, picked up a skewer and happily ate a fish.
"Mmm! Always cooked to perfection!"
Yang chuckled before nodding at Pietro. "Yeah, I'm okay. I'm just… wondering who my mother was. All I know is that she abandoned me… actually, no, that's too strong of a word."
"She had her reasons."
"Oh, I know. But I just… wish she came by and told me what the hell happened. Like, I'm half human, i'm half genie… I just want to know who my father is too."
She shook her head. "Ugh, whatever…"
"You know… you could always leave the island and find them yourself." Penny suggested.
"Wait… I can do that?"
"You never thought of that?"
Yang blushed. "I… uh… I've never been to the outside world, so the thought never occurred to me." She said sheepishly.
"That's understandable." Pietro chuckled. "Perhaps you could leave first thing in the morning. It's getting rather late."
"You're right." Yang nodded. "And also, I would say I don't want to leave the island defenseless… but we do have a mayor who's fierce as hell."
"Yup!" Penny grinned. "He's so cute and huggable too!"
Yang chuckled. "Yeah, he is."
She got up and stretched. "Alright, I'm gonna go take a dip in the ocean for a while."
"Alright, have fun." Pietro said as he and Penny walked off as she walked toward the water. The waves splashing against her feet as she smiled, then she took off her bikini, took her scrunchie off, and then went for a swim in the water carefreely.
The next morning…
Yang emerged from her bed with a yawn as she shot out of bed right after. With determination in her eyes, she walked out with confidence as she took her spear and proceeded to spear a few fish as she then cooked them up after gutting them and ate them up, then she kicked a palm tree as a coconut fell off. She caught it, cracked it open and drank the water from within.
"Aaaah… alright, let's rock."
"Ah, there you are. We were hoping you weren't gone yet."
Yang turned to see Pietro approaching. "Morning, uncle!"
"Morning to you too, Yang." He said, both of them hugging. "Stay safe out there, okay?"
"I will." Yang smiled, pulling away as she hugged Penny. "Try not to blow something up with those cyborg enhancements of yours."
"That was just the one time!" Penny pouted as Yang laughed, then she pulled away.
"HONK!"
Yang turned to see the Goose come over to her with a basket of fruit. "Honk Honk!"
Yang smiled. "Snacks for on the road? Thanks!" She said, taking them as she magically stored them away and patted him on the head. "Alright, I'm heading out."
"Good luck, Yang."
Yang chuckled. "I don't need luck." She said as she got in a stance before she proceeded to breakdance before transforming into a golden dragon. With a roar, she flew away from the island.
"Break dancing? Ooooh, I had my heart set on her being a belly dancer… eh, I'm sure someone on the internet already made that a thing."
Yang flew into Argus, where a lone Yamper watched Yang fly above. It wagged its tail excitedly as Yang came in for a landing, flapping her wings and landing on the ground, turning back to normal. "Man, I love transforming."
She walked off with a spring in her step, her hands behind her head with a hum. "Hey cutie." A voice said as Yang glanced over to see a few thugs walking over to her. "What's a pretty dame like you doing in a place like this?"
"Oh, you know, just looking for my mother."
"Ha! Aren't we all." The leader chuckled, wrapping an arm around Yang. "Listen, toots. How's about we all head over to a hotel and we can get to know each other?"
"...Buddy, you think I was born yesterday?"
Yang grabbed him by the wrist and threw him to the ground. She planted her foot on his crotch, leaning over as her breasts dangled above him. "I'm not stupid, I know you're just gonna do weird things to me. I'm just glad I have cable on my island so I know what kind of nonsense you guys are planning."
"You bitch… GET HER!" The leader yelled as the thugs tried to reach for her.
"Woof!" The Yamper jumped in between them and snarled at them.
"The heck…? What's a cute dog doing here?" Yang wondered as the Yamper unleashed Spark to electrocute the thugs, then they fell on their backs.
"Woof!" Yamper turned around and wagged his tail with a happy smile.
"Correction: You're a shockingly cute dog!" Yang grinned, picking up the Yamper. "I don't know who you are, but you are definitely the cutest dog I've seen!" She said as the Yamper licked her face, causing her to giggle. "You wanna come along?"
"Woof!"
"Alriiiight! I'm gonna name you… Lightning!" She put him down. "No, wait… Sparky!"
"Woof!"
"You like it? Perfect, let's go."
"Rrrgh… that's what you think…!" The thug leader grunted, blowing into his whistle as Yang and the Yamper found themselves surrounded by a mob.
"Ooooh, so it's a fight you want, huh?" Yang asked, magic swirling around her fists. "Bring it!"
"Magic? She's a genie!" One of the thugs exclaimed.
"Well, looks like we got ourselves a valuable person here! Let's beat her up gently before we take her in!" The leader declared as Yang squared up.
…However, before Yang could fight, metal feathers struck the ground, surrounding Yang. "Huh?" She wondered as they immediately started beeping before lighting up and exploding, Yang quickly conjuring up a magical barrier to protect herself and Sparky.
Once the smoke cleared, the first wave of thugs were down as a metallic eagle landed on the ground, along with a Greek warrior who vaulted off said eagle and landed next to Yang.
BGM: Road to a Hero (Kingdom Hearts)
"It's Nikos!" One of the thugs exclaimed.
"Dammit, you just don't know when to keep your nose out of our business, do you!" The leader growled.
"Stand aside, I got this." Pyrrha said as she lunged forward, quickly swiping at them with her spear as fire conjured up in her hand and threw a massive fireball at a few thugs.
"Whoa…" Yang whispered.
Pyrrha twirled her spear around to create a miniature fire tornado and stabbed the ground to send it flying, pushing away a few thugs as one came over and slashed her, but Pyrrha blocked with her shield.
"Aetoc, fly!" Pyrrha ordered as the metallic eagle flew up and then corkscrewed into a few individuals as it spread its wings out, the wings turning into blades as he flew over and cut down the thugs.
"You bitch!" The leader growled, charging at Pyrrha where she turned around and bashed him in the face.
"You keep threatening the lives of those who come into Argus. I always leave you with a warning time and time again." Pyrrha said, flip kicking him in the air. "I've had enough!" Her spear turned into a rifle as she aimed and pulled the trigger, flames bursting out of it and engulfing the leader as he yelled in agony as he fell to the ground.
"Nnngh…" He grunted as he turned around, backing away in fear. "L-Look, if this is about what happened a few days ago when you went on that business tri-" Pyrrha shoved her spear into his chest.
"That was for my husband." Pyrrha knelt down. "I'm not sorry." She pulled the spear out of his chest and kicked him away, turning to what was left of his henchmen.
"Our leader is dead! Flee!" A henchman cried as they took off running.
"If you were wise enough, you'd get the hell out of Argus and never come back!" Pyrrha called out.
"WE'RE GONNA PACK RIGHT NOW!"
"Good." Pyrrha nodded.

"Whoa… that was brutal." Yang said.
"You're welcome." Pyrrha walked off with her metallic bird latched onto her shoulder.
"Okay…!" Yang walked after her. "So what's your name?"
"Pyrrha Nikos… actually, it's Pyrrha Arc, but everyone keeps referring to my maiden name. I can tell you're not from around here."
"How'd you guess?"
Pyrrha turned her head. "Please, no one here dresses up scantily clad."
"Scantily cla-... huh? This is just what I normally wear. Also, are you a genie by any chance?"
"No, I come from a long line of people who master the arts of pyrotechnics. I'm the current one… and I'm also teaching my daughter."
"I see… anyway, name's Yang Branwen. Nice to meet ya!"
"Charmed." Pyrrha walked into a building as Yang walked in after her.
"You seem rather tense. Anything oka-"
"Mommy!"
"Oh!" Yang would see a young red haired girl with blonde highlights tackling her into a hug. Pyrrha's face immediately melted into a smile and hugged her.
"I'm home, Calliope." Pyrrha said. "Honey, are you here?"
"I'm here!" A voice said as they saw a blonde man hobble in with a crutch.
"Ooooh…" Yang grimaced.
"Hey Jaune." Pyrrha smiled, both of them sharing a kiss before turning to look at Yang and the Yamper. "Hey sweetie, why don't you go out in the backyard with your father and show him that drawing you made for me?"
"Okay~!" Calliope smiled and skipped out with Jaune hobbling behind her.
Pyrrha sighed. "I apologize for being abrasive with you."
"I imagine you have a history with them."
Pyrrha sat down as her bird flew over to its perch. "Well, I'm actually the protector of Argus. There are other warriors in town but I'm typically the best of the best. These thugs came into town a few years ago and started messing around, but I always put them in their place. And then… just a few days ago, I went out on a business trip to Atlas. During that time, the leader made a move and stormed into this house to try to ruin my life. He went after my daughter, but Jaune protected her. However, he shot him through his spine… and then he ran away."
"Oh gosh…"
"Calliope called me in tears and I quickly made my way back. We were able to get him stabilized and gave him braces for him to stand on… but the damage was done to the point where he needs to use a crutch to keep him stable. I was so… so rageful that he came into my home. I spent the next few days looking for him…"
"And that's when you found him harassing me."
"Exactly." Pyrrha nodded.
"Well, I'm pretty much okay." Yang chuckled and looked at the bird. "Soooo, what's with the robot bird?"
"Oh, well, I decided to make a friend for my daughter when she was a baby, so I decided to use my semblance to mesh together metal parts to form into an eagle. I expected it to be a toy, but apparently it gained a life of its own and basically became a guard dog, er, guard bird for the whole family." Pyrrha smiled. "He likes to accompany me. His name is Aetoc."
"Huh… so your semblance is… metal infusion?"
"Polarity. Although I think it evolved at one point…" Pyrrha giggled.
"Yeah."
"So, where are you from?"
"Goldi Island. I'm looking for my mother."
"I see… and what's your semblance?"
"Um… I think it's transformation? Unless that's part of my genie magic, I don't know if I even have a sembla-"
"Genie magic?!" Pyrrha said in surprise. "...Goodness, I thought the genies were extinct."
"Uuuuh… noooo? I'm pretty much alive." Yang chuckled.
"That… would explain your outfit. I'm sorry!"
"No no no, it's okay." Yang waved it off. "Though, technically speaking… I'm a half genie. I'm half human, half genie… one hundred percent sexy badass!"
Pyrrha sweatdropped. Not exactly humble, are you…
"Anyway, I'm looking for my mother. Do you know where she is?"
"Do you know what she looks like?"
Yang sighed. "No. I was dropped off at my uncle's house. I don't know where she is, but yesterday's attack by Risky Boots made me set out."
"Risky Boots? She's attacked Argus a few times… I typically set her straight whenever I'm around."
"Well… I guess I should keep looking… I guess Argus is a bust."
"You're going alone?"
"Nah, I got this little cutie right here!"
"Woof!"
"Just having a Yamper isn't enough. Aetoc and I will go with you!"
"Wait, shouldn't you be protecting your husband and daughter?"
Pyrrha smiled. "Don't worry, I installed a security system just yesterday~" She pressed a button as they heard an alarm as machine guns came out from underneath the backyard. Lasers shot out of the doors and windows to create a grid. A rocket launcher came out of from inside the chimney.
Yang sweatdropped. "Don't you think this is overkill?"
"Nonsense. I also have a railgun installed on top of the roof~!"
"...Uh-huh."
"Mommy, I found the groundhog that's been eating our carrots!"
"Oh, I uprooted a groundhog. How funny." Pyrrha giggled, pressing a button to disarm the system.
"Never mind, he went back underground!"
"So, shall we then?"
"...I like you. Let's rock!" Yang smiled.
"I'll let my family know. I'll meet you out front."
"Okay!" Yang nodded as she walked off with Yamper. "She's a liiiiiittle crazy with the security system." She whispered.
"Woof!" The Yamper agreed.
A few hours later…
"Brrr!" Yang shivered. "It's freezing out here!"
"Well, it is Mantle. I'm not surprised you're not suited for this kind of weather."
"Hey, excuse me! I'm an islander, how the hell am I supposed to be "suited" for snow? Sheesh!"
"You sure you don't want to wear something warmer?"
"N-No! I'm fine… oh hey, a coffee shop. We can warm up in there for a while!" She hurried into the shop while Aetoc and Pyrrha side eyed each other before Pyrrha walked in where she saw Yang sitting on top of a heater.
"Aaaaaaah~"
"Hey, no sitting on the heater!" The owner called out.
"So?" Yang rolled her eyes.
Pyrrha sighed, taking her arm and pulling her away. "Come on, let's go find a seat that's near a heater. I'll even order us some coffee too."
"Woo! You go, girl~!"
The two of them sat at a table, and then Pyrrha went over to get coffee for the two of them. She returned and then sat down. "Aaaah, that hits the spot." Yang said after taking a swig.
"So, you think Mantle would be a good place to start looking?"
"Sure, if I don't freeze my boobs off." Yang shook her head. "Seriously though, I'm not sure why a genie would want to hang out in this frozen wasteland."
"Well, I'm sure there's a few genies who developed an immunity to ice-"
"Did you say genie?" A voice asked as they turned to see a masked individual in a hoodie.
"...Yeah? Who are you?" Yang asked.
"Come on, I'll show you where I live. Don't worry, I'm a friend." The masked individual said as the ladies turned to look at each other, but followed her anyway, Pyrrha being a bit cautious as they made their way into an apartment building deep within Mantle.
Pyrrha immediately pulled her spear out, pointing it at the individual. "Did you lead us into a trap? Reveal yourself to us right this instant!"
"Sheesh, lady! I told you I'm on your side." The individual said. "Alright, alright, I'm taking the mask off."
They would watch as the individual turned out to be a raven haired young lady, she also had glasses.
"What is your name?"
"Futaba Sakura, I used to live in Atlas before I moved here because I don't agree with the lifestyle above us."
BGM: The Days When My Mother Was There (Persona 5)
"Sad thing is, I actually want to live in Mistral, but unfortunately, it's too far away and… well, I actually like it here sooooooo… it's all good."
"What were you doing in that coffee shop?"
"Same as you, getting coffee. Of course, I wasn't expecting to overheard a conversation about genies. You know about them?"
"I'm a Half Genie. Yang Branwen, nice to meet ya."
"Pyrrha Arc." Pyrrha said, still unsure what to make of Futaba.
"I've been studying genies for a long time. It's kinda my hobby." She brought out her laptop. "I even made a lot of research notes about them."
"Let me guess, making a lot of research is your semblance." Yang joked.
"Ha! No. My semblance is Technomancy." She explained. "I'm not much of a fighter, but I'm not one to sit down and take it. I can defend myself, thank you very much." She chuckled. "Anywho… you said you were a Half Genie, right?"
"Yeah."
"I thought so." Futaba immediately conjured up a screen and then enlarged it. "Okay, soooo… from what I've learned, Half Genies are the off spring of a human and a genie and Guardian Genies and Half Genies are all over the place… or at least, they were… I should know, my best friend was a half genie before she disappeared."
"Who was she?" Yang asked.
"Ann. She mostly dealt with pyrotechnics and liked cats… then she vanished one day. Said she was going to go visit Makoto and then… well, it's been years after she left. Her disappearance is what made me delve into deep research."
"Oh… I'm so sorry…" Pyrrha frowned.
"It's fine… anywho, as I continued my research, I've noticed that genies and half genies have been vanishing left and right… to make matters worse, there are these… creatures that appear every once in a while."
Pause BGM
She went to the next screen where they saw a shadowy genie.
BGM: Environmental Mystery (Metroid Fusion)
"What the heck is that?" Yang wondered.
"That, my dear big boobed Half Genie… is a Nega Genie."
"I think I've seen a few of these… I've seen one on the news that one showed up at the SDC, and then disappeared. Next thing I know, the heiress of the Schnee Dust Company vanished." Pyrrha said. "It was so… odd. No one knows where Weiss went."
"I've had one pop in on my front doorstep. I captured it and proceeded to study on what this creature was about. Unfortunately, they don't do so well captured as they explode violently. Took a week to get all the glass out of my hair."
Yang grimaced. "Oh…"
"But! I did find something interesting." She smirked. "From what I could gather before the Nega Genie decided to commit a violent explosive end… apparently these creatures tend to drain energy from their victim… once all the energy is gone, they absorb their body until nothing remains. I have a pretty good feeling our SDC heiress was killed…"
Futaba swallowed, fighting some tears. "And… that would probably explain why Ann never came back…"
Yang patted her on the back as Futaba took a deep breath and exhaled.
"Anyway. I've also managed to trace their whereabouts. Apparently, they seem to belong to this individual."
Futaba pulled up a screen, showing Salem where she had blonde hair, fair skin, blue eyes and a light blue dress.
"Wow… I… was expecting some kind of hag. She's beautiful!" Yang said.
"She's probably a hag underneath that beauty." Pyrrha mumbled.
"Unfortunately, I can't get any more info off of her. It's been a few weeks since I've seen a Nega Genie… although they seem to be attracted to negative emotions."
"Well, great… and I'm an upbeat half genie, soooo… do you have any info on my mom?"
"Let me guess, she went missing too?"
"Yup."
"Well… do you know her name?"
"No."
"Welp… that's a problem." Futaba rubbed her head.

"So, just so we're clear… you haven't seen any genies in Mantle or in Atlas?" Yang asked.
"Nope. Not that I'm aware of."
Yang sighed. "Welp, might as well keep looking. Come on, let's go, Pyrr-..." She stopped, then turned to Futaba. "You want to come with us?"
Futaba's eyes sparkled. "You mean-... oh hell yes! I'd love to come with you!" She grinned. "Let's go to… wherever the heck we're going!"

A few hours later, at night…
"Ooooh, this is a bad spot." Pyrrha said as they landed, where Yang turned back to normal after she turned into a dragon.
"What do you mean?"
"From what I've gathered, this is a bad spot in Vacuo. Bandits live here."
"Eh, we can cut through that graveyard. I'm sure it'll be fine."
"Going through a graveyard… at night?" Futaba asked.
"You want to cut through town and get ambushed?"
"No no, graveyard it is!" Futaba nodded as they walked through the graveyard.
However, as they went through… they would see somebody hunched over a corpse. They got closer to see that the person in question had green skin and a crop top… and the person was eating the corpse.
"Oh gods, don't tell me that's…!" Futaba whimpered as the person turned around with an arm in her mouth. "EEEEEEEEEEEK!" She screamed as she hid behind Yang. "I KNEW A ZOMBIE APOCALYPSE WOULD HAPPEN! I KNEW HORROR MOVIES WERE REAL BUT DOES ANYONE BELIEVE ME?! NO! I'D BE LAUGHING AT THEIR STUPID FACES IF I WASN'T SO TERRIFIED!"
The zombie girl swallowed the hand and walked over to the trio as Yang conjured up magic while Pyrrha got into position. Aetoc spread his wings out with a shrill cry.
Yang threw a ball of magic toward the zombie girl.
"Whoa!" She yelped as she ducked and then came back up. "Is that actual magic? Cool!"
"Aaah! It's gonna eat your magic!" Futaba whimpered.
"You a half genie?"
"So what if I am?"
"That's so cool! Don't mind that guy, he's just my idiot boyfriend. Thought he could dump me in the graveyard… pah! Showed him…" She looked directly at Yang. "Soooo… mind if I snack on your brain a bit? I'm still a bit hung-"
Bop!
"Yow!" She yelped, rubbing her head as a goose egg popped up. "You have no sense of humor…"
"Soooo… you're not a bad zombie?" Pyrrha asked.
"Pffft, zombies are only portrayed as bad in movies. I'm actually pretty friendly. The name's Rottytops, nice to meet ya!"

"Yang Branwen."
"Pyrrha Arc."
"Absolutely terrified and not believing you for one second!"
"...That's a mouthful." Rotty deadpanned.
"Futaba Sakura, okay?!"
"Much better~!"
"Soooo, you live in Vacuo?" Yang asked.
"Yup, it's my home town. The people here suck, so I tend to wander around at night when they're asleep." Rotty shrugged. "Eh, what can ya do?"
They're afraid of zombies. Duuuuuh! Futaba thought.
"Soooo, what brings you here to Vacuo?"
"Finding my mother. Have you seen any half genies or guardian genies around?"
"Nope, though I can oddly sense that you're one of them. Weird." Rotty shrugged. "You know what, you guys aren't half bad. I think I'll tag along with you."
"What?!"
Yang grinned. "The more the merrrier! Right boy?"
"Woof!" The Yamper barked.
"Do we have to bring her along?" Futaba asked.
"I don't see anything wrong with her." Pyrrha said.
"Come on, let's go. We'll see if we're lucky in Vale." Yang said as they walked off while Futaba side eyed Rotty while she gave her a happy go lucky smile to her.
So this is how I die… Futaba groaned.
In Vale…
"Hmm… you know… we could stop by here." Yang said.
"At a dance club?" Pyrrha asked.
"Ooooh, I see here. In movies, people tend to get info out of someone at clubs!" Futaba said.
"Exactly! It should be pretty simple." Yang said as she walked to the doors.
"Why do I have this feeling it's gonna go poorly?" Rotty wondered.

Yang casually walked in, her breasts bouncing with a spring in her step as she looked around. "Yeah, my kind of party." She said as she walked in.
"...Huh… I was kinda expecting this to be a strip club." Futaba said.
Yang immediately noticed the bartender talking to a man with a bowler hat and white jacket. "Ah!" She walked over to him.
"...No shirt, no shoes, no service, blondie." He said after noticing her.
"Oh come on~ You can make an exception for me, can't ya?" She asked, positioning her body to where her breasts jiggled with a teasing smile. "Get me a strawberry sunrise."
"...Read the damn sign."
"Sheesh, I get Strawberry Sunrises all the time on my island. You're no fun."
"This ain't your island wherever you're from. Either put on a shirt or get out of here."
"Wow. You are such a prude, it's hilarious. You suuuuure you don't wanna change your mind~?" She bounced her breasts for him again.
"Security!"
"Wooooow, I'm just playing with you-" Yang noticed his name tag. "Junior. Honestly, can't you and that fancy beard of yours make an exception."
"I've said what I said."
"Alright… then tell me. Where is my mother?"
"Who?"
"My mother! She is a Guardian Genie."
"Genies… ha. They're extinct. Go home."
"No, they're not!"
A guard grabbed Yang by the shoulder. "Come on, kid. Let's get you out of here."
Magic swirled around Yang's hands. "Make me."
"...Ladies and gentleman, we're about to have a brawl." Futaba said as Pyrrha came back with a few drinks of her own.
"Uh oh…" Pyrrha said as Rotty took a sip.
"Mmm, a bit flat. Need more brains in it." She looked over at Futaba. "Spare some brain matter~?" She teased.
"Ugh! NO!"
Rotty giggled. "You're too easy." She said as Yang magically punched a man into the dance floor as she jumped in, then found herself surrounded by guards.
Yang smirked, immediately breakdancing as she started glowing… and transformed into a grizzly bear as the guards paled at the sight. Yang let out a ferocious bear roar and slapped a guard into the DJ, knocking the record off of the player.

At that moment, the resulting ruckus made another record slip into the player.
BGM: Highway to Hell (AC/DC)
Yang snarled, getting on all fours as she looked around as the guards hesitantly looked at her before they charged. Yang got on her hind legs and pawed at them with a roar.
One guard ran forward and slashed at her, but Yang grabbed the blade with her paws and yanked it away, tossing it to the side as the guard laughed nervously… before Yang punched him away.
"Her technique is too weak." Rotty said.
Yang jumped up and landed behind a few guards, picking up a statue and throwing it at the guards, knocking them over like bowling pins.
"No, her technique is too strong." Pyrrha said.
Junior let out a groan. "Get the Malachite twins in here NOW!"
Yang turned around and bit down on a guard's sword and spat out the blade before headbutting the guard into a wall, and then next thing she knew, Miltia jumped up and landed on her back, trying to wrap her arms around her neck.
"Down, you filthy animal!" Miltia demanded, only for Yang to get on her hind legs and then fell on her back. "Waaaaah!' She yelped as she was crushed underneath the bear.
"Miltia!" Melanie called out.
"I'm okay!"
Melanie growled, running over right as Yang got up as she kicked her in the snout. Yang snarled, grabbing Melanie by the ankle. "...Uh oh." She whimpered as Yang threw her into a wall. "Waaaaaaaah!"
CRASH!
"I'm okay too…! …Ooooow…"
"Nah, I'd say her technique is well balanced." Futaba said, sipping her drink.
Junior stepped up with his rocket launcher. "Get out of my club NOW." He said, firing a rocket launcher only for Yang to clap her hands and grabbed said rocket, giving Junior a smirk before throwing it back. He whimpered before he was caught in an explosion.
"...Okay, well balanced with a slight hint of bullshit." Futaba corrected.
End BGM
Yang turned back to normal. "Huh… I didn't even think that was possible." She said as she walked over to Junior, who was groaning in pain. "Now, would you mind telling me where my mother is?"
Suddenly, darkness formed around the center of the dance floor as Yang turned around while squaring up. "What in the…?"
"That's a Nega Genie!" Futaba exclaimed as a Nega Genie formed in front of them. The Nega Genie in question looked eerily similar to Blake.
"Huh… you like cats?" Yang wondered as she got into position as the Nega Genie conjured dark magic, then the two of them lunged, both of them swinging their fists as they jumped back and unleashed magic at the two, canceling each other out.
Lightning crackled in Yang's wrists as she fired lightning bolts at the Nega Genie, but she levitated off the ground and threw a ball of darkness at her. Yang rolled out of the way as the Nega Genie landed on the ground and headed straight for her.
"Hiyaaaaaah!" A voice cried as a sword cut through the Nega Genie, destroying it.
"What the…? I had that!"
"Sure, you did, kid."
"Who are you?"
The man chuckled, placing his sword on his shoulder. "Name's Qrow. Nice to meet ya."
"Yang Branwen. Why did you kill that thing?"
"Because I'm a Nega Genie hunter."
"Another question. Why am I sensing magic from you?"
"Oh, it's quite simple." Qrow levitated off the ground. "I'm a Guardian Dijinn. I'm basically the male equivalent of a Guardian Genie… we're a lot rarer than Guardian Genies, but what can ya do?"
Yang jawdropped. "A Guardian Dijinn?! I thought they were a myth!"
"Nope." Qrow chuckled as Pyrrha, Futaba and Rotty approached. "I sense that you're a Half Genie."
"...Do you know who my mother is?"
"Don't know her, kid. Sorry."
Yang sighed. "Damn…"
"Dammit, I wanted to learn more of those Nega Genies… you had to cut it down…" Futaba sighed.
"You're welcome. Once they're defeated, they're gone for good… and you can thank an individual for this. The Pirate Master… or, as he's typically known as… Blackbeard."
"Blackbeard? How do you know this?" Pyrrha asked.
"How do I know? Heh, I worked with him!" He grinned. "Blackbeard was not just your average cold as hell pirate. He was the pirate. The fiercest pirate to ever live that any other ordinary pirate feared. He was legendary. …I was also his friend as I sailed the seas with him. He was a jackass to everyone, yet he considered me a brother. Heh… funny how that works."
"Okay, what does this have to do with Nega Genies?" Yang wondered.
"You see… one day, we stopped at an island and we met a gorgeous young lady who happened to be a Guardian Genie herself. She was beautiful… unfortunately, Blackbeard called dibs before I could say anything."
"What was her name?" Pyrrha asked.
"Salem. She had the most beautiful blonde hair and… gods, she was gorgeous as hell."
"You mean this lady?" Futaba pulled up the picture of Salem again. "I've tried to do research on this one."
"That's her. Like most, she's a Guardian Genie just like everyone else… although she had an… interesting quirk. When we got to know Salem, we learned that she had a best friend who was also a Guardian Genie. One day, the two of them set out to explore Remnant… and then, when they hit a pub, her best friend poisoned her drink. Before she lost consciousness, she said she only used her to get to explore Remnant. She also decided to strip her clothing away and put her up for sale before she left. When she came to, Salem found herself out in the streets… but ever since then, she felt betrayed that a fellow genie destroyed her life and… let's just say she's vowed to destroy genies ever since."
"So she doesn't trust Guardian Genies because her best friend betrayed her?" Futaba asked. "Yikes… I don't blame her."
"For a second there, I thought we were going to get something petty like a bad breakup." Rotty rolled her eyes. "Think we dodged a magic bullet with that one."
"To make matters worse, Salem put Blackbeard under her spell. He fell madly in love with her as I tried to reason with him that she has a few screws loose. He simply said "I can fix her" and proceeded to date her. Needless to say, they were wed and I was his best man… that said, I parted ways with him after he helped Salem destroy a few Genies and Half Genies. I took off before it got worse…"
Qrow sighed, pulling out his flask and took a swig. "I should've knocked Salem off her block and got Blackbeard back to his senses… but it's too late. Most of the genies and half genies are wiped out and are facing extinction. I've been searching for Half Genies and Guardian Genies ever since."
"Have you… found a girl named Ann? She was my best friend and she was also a Half Genie." Futaba said.
"I don't think so… sorry kiddo."
Futaba sighed. "It's okay…"
"However, something caught my attention. Apparently these Nega Genies have been popping up all over the place. During my investigation, I know where they come from. Salem… she's making Nega Genies to dispose of the genies of this world, and what's worse? Blackbeard's nowhere to be found. So either Salem has dark magic… or something else is going down. I don't even know where."
"Do you have any other leads?" Yang asked.
"Actually, yes. Apparently, there's a pirate who's also searching for genies. She's known as… Risky Boots."
Yang's eyes widened. "I've met her yesterday… where is she?"
The next morning…
Yang flew over the ocean in her dragon form, searching for Risky. She spotted a pirate ship down in the ocean as she dive bombed toward the ship.
"Men! Drop the anchor! There's a half genie runt here and I'm not going to lose her! Make sure you get treasure while you're at it."
A Tinkerbat looked up and let out a yelp, hiding behind a box. "What are you bellyaching for?" Risky wondered as she looked up to see a golden dragon, where Yang turned back to normal and slammed into the ship, her breasts bouncing as she glared at Risky.
"Oh, it's the Half Genie Bimbo." Risky smirked.
"Where's. My. Mother?"
"Ah, you want to know more about her? Well… you're just going to have to beat it out of me to find out."
Magic swirled around Yang's wrists. "Alright, let's rock!"
BGM: Boss (Shantae: Half-Genie Hero)
Queen of the Seven Seas - Risky Boots
Risky aimed her flintlock and fired, but Yang rolled away as she jumped up and fire punched Risky, but she backflipped to avoid it. She immediately brought out her scimitar and slashed at Yang.
Yang quickly jumped away, conjuring up magic as she clapped her hands, shooting out a magical shockwave that knocked barrels and boxes around while Risky slid underneath the shockwave and then slashed at Yang's belly.
"Nnngh!" Yang grunted as she threw an electrical uppercut that knocked Risky up in the air as she jumped up and flipped over, her heel catching ablaze and fire kicking her into the deck.
Risky got back up, quickly rolling out of the way to avoid Yang punching her, where she punched a hole in the deck instead as Risky fired at her face, peppering her with Dust bullets that knocked Yang off her feet.
"Gah!" She yelped, shaking it off as Risky pulled out a cannon and fired, only for Yang to block with a magic force field, but the resulting explosion was enough to send Yang flying out of the ship.
"Hohohohoho! That was too easy." Risky said, when suddenly a golden Bull Shark breached out of the water as Risky looked up in surprise as water surrounded the shark as it turned on a dime and torpedoed into Risky. "Gragh!" She yelped as the golden shark bit down.
With a growl, Risky poked the shark in the eye as she then punched it in the snout to get the tiger shark to back off as Yang turned back to normal, her right eye closed as she conjured up a stream of fire and launched it toward Risky, but she rolled out of the way and shot at Yang.
The half genie punched the ground as magical stalactites rose up as Risky jumped away, only for Yang to launch herself and fire punched Risky clean in the cheek, sending her crashing into a wall as Yang breakdanced, proceeding to transform into a dragon and breathed fire, forcing several Tinkerbats to abandon ship and dove into the water.
Yang turned back to normal as she walked forward. A scimitar went flying toward her as Yang batted it away with her hand as she walked through the smoke. Risky pulled out her flintlock, only for Yang to grab a hold of it and crushed it with her hand.
"You're done."
End BGM
"Heh… alright… you want to learn more about your mother…"
"Yes."
Risky smiled. "Your mother is no longer in Remnant. She's GONE."
"What? No! There's no way that she can-"
"Hohoho! It's the truth, bimbo!" She pulled out another flintlock that she secretly had and shot Yang in the knee.
"Gah!" She yelped, falling over as Risky stood up and walked off.
"You're naive if you think your mother is still around… but know this, she's no longer of this world and you'll never get her back! Hohohohoho!"
She backflipped off of the ship, whistling as a Sharpedo came into view and caught Risky. "Ta-ta~! We'll meet again someday, bimbo~!" She called out as she disappeared from view.
A tear escaped Yang, where she punched the ground in frustration. "Dammit…"
Back at Goldi Island…
Penny walked around the island with a hum, then she looked up at the sky to see Yang returning. "Oh! Yang's back! Dad!"
Pietro walked out. "There's my girl." He said, but then noticed the dragon's head drooped down. He immediately got concerned as the dragon landed next to the shack.
Yang turned back to normal, letting out a depressed sigh. "Yaaaaang~!" Penny called out as she turned to see her approaching along with the Goose.
"Oh hey, Penny…"
"What's wrong? Are you okay?"
"I just went on a wild goose chase-"
"HONK!"
"Sorry featherbrain. Went on a quest and ended up with nothing…"
"Couldn't find your mom?"
"I confronted Risky again and she told me that she's gone. I don't know if she's telling the truth or… or…"
"C'mere…" Penny hugged Yang as she hugged her back, the former rubbing her back as Pietro joined in on the hug.
The Goose turned his head, seeing a speed boat approach the island. "HONK! HONK!"
"Huh?" Yang wondered, wiping her eyes as she took a closer look. "My friends?"
The boat came to a gentle stop as Pyrrha hopped out and used her polarity to bring the boat onto shore.
"What are you guys doing here?" Yang asked.
"Kiiiinda hard to miss a dragon flying away." Futaba teased.
"We came to cheer ya up!" Rotty smiled.
Pyrrha put her hand on Yang's shoulder. "You okay?"
"I… will be."
"Woof!"
"Oh! Hey boy!" Yang knelt down and scratched Sparky behind the ears. "Where's Qrow?"
"Said he wanted to do some exploring, he'll come over when he finds something or not." Rotty said.
"For now, we're here for you!" Futaba smiled as they hugged her, where Yang hugged her back.
Several hours later…
Qrow flew over to the island, landing on the beach where he saw Yang's friends hanging around, although Futaba kept her distance from Rotty as she took her whole leg off to scratch her back while Penny curiously watched her.
"Hey. Where's the firecracker?"
"Swimming." Pyrrha said.
"Well, tell her to come here. I caught a…" He noticed Yang's bikini on the sand. "...Lead… she's skinny dippin'?"
"She does it every day! She says it helps her relax." Penny said.
"Heh, more power to her." He said, and then Yang emerged from the water. He instinctively turned his head.
"Aaaah, that felt grea-... oh hi, Qrow!"
"Put your bikini on."
Yang chuckled, putting it back on as she playfully bounced her breasts when she put her top back on. "Okay, I'm decent."
That's your idea of decent? Your breasts are hanging out! Pyrrha thought.
Qrow turned his head back to face Yang. "I found something that might interest you."
"And that is…?"
"There's a place called Patch and there's a Guardian Genie living there with another Half Genie. There's also a male human living there and… hell, he kinda looks like you."
"Really?" Yang looked intrigued.
"You want to go see for yourself?"
"Yeah!" Yang nodded.
Penny turned to Pietro. "Dad, can we go?"
Pietro chuckled. "I suppose we can."
"Awesome!" Penny fist pumped.
"We should make a pit stop at Argus first. I bet my family would love to meet a Guardian Genie." Pyrrha said.
"Alright, stand back~!" Yang smiled, breakdancing and transforming into a dragon as they all hopped on and flew off to Argus.
Later, at Patch…
Yang landed on a path way, where everyone hopped off, although Pyrrha helped Jaune down, then Yang turned back to normal as they walked toward a house.
Up ahead, they noticed a blonde man talking to a red haired woman wearing a black crop top and some baggy pants.
"I'm… sensing something from that woman." Yang said as they approached. The woman immediately sensed the magic power as she turned to see Yang.
"...Are you… a half genie?" She asked.
"Yeah, I'm Yang Branwen. What's yours?"
"Summer Rose."
"Y-Yang?" The man spoke as Yang turned to the man.
"Do I know you?" Yang asked.
The man chuckled. "Of course you don't know me. I'm your father."
Yang's eyes widened. "Wh-what?!"
"Whoa, small world…" Futaba whispered.
"Then… you know where my mother is, right?"
Tai frowned. "I… wish I knew. Your mother was the strongest Guardian Genie of the world. She was actually friends with her." He motioned his head to Summer.
"Your mother, Raven Branwen… she felt she needed to take Salem on alone. I would have helped but I got cold feet when every Half Genie and Guardian Genie started vanishing… I wish I had gone with her, we probably would've stopped her together…"
Yang sighed. "I see…"
"So, I hate to be rude, but is there another Half Genie here?" Rotty asked.
"Oh, right." Summer turned to the house. "Honey, come here! There's a fellow Half Genie here!"
"Coming!"
A few moments later, the front door opened as they would see a Half Genie where she had dark red hair with a few yellow highlights. She wore a red crop top and baggy pants as well.
"Hiya! I'm Shantae Rose!" She waved.
Yang smiled. "Yang Branwen."
Tai looked at Summer, both of them nodded. "Shantae…" Summer began. "Meet your sister."
Both half genies eyes widened while everyone else looked on with surprise. "SISTERS?!" Both Half Genies yelled.
Meanwhile…
Risky dropped off at an island, hopping off of the Sharpedo. "Where's your ship?" A voice asked as Risky turned her head to see Salem approaching.
"A half genie brat blew it up. Made damn sure of it too."
"A half genie destroyed your ship? This is probably a powerful genie… who was she?"
"Called herself Yang Branwen."
Salem's eyes slightly widened. "Branwen… I haven't heard of that name in years." She said with a smirk. "My, this changes things a bit."
Salem looked at Risky. "See if you can keep antagonizing the Branwen girl to where she'd want to come visit. I've a family reunion to prepare."
Risky smirked. "It shall be done, mother."
"Dun dun dun! We're gonna have to end here for now. See you next time!"
