Author's note: Okay, so after writing this chapter I went back and slightly changed the ending for the last chapter so things would make a bit more sense. It doesn't really change things that much but it's something that I eventually found to be strange and a little stupid. Anyway, on with the chapter. This means memories. This means emphasis. This means dream sequence. This can also mean emphasis. End author's note.
The group poured out of the elevator into Ozpin's office, who was staring out the window. Qrow and Port took one side of the room while Glynda and Oobleck took the other, leaving Jushiro, Barragan, Gin and Ulquiorra in the middle. Amber stood next to Ozpin who now sat in his desk chair, hands on his chin and staring at the newcomers.
Looking from one to another, from one side to the next, he could tell that what Qrow had told him was, in fact, true. Barragan and Ulquiorra, who were standing to his right, were emanating a feeling that was, freakish. However his senses were much more honed then Qrow's, and he figured out exactly where it was coming from.
Their weapons, but just for the two of them.
"Since nobody else is going to say anything," Ulquiorra said after a few tense seconds, "I guess I'll start, again. You must be Ozpin that Qrow said he was taking us to."
"I am, and you are?"
"Ulquiorra Cifer. Right next to me is Barragan Louisenbairn, followed by Gin Ichimaru and Jushiro Ukitake." He took a hand out of his pocket to point to each person he named. "If I may ask, what do you want with us?"
"I want nothing more then to gauge if you're a threat or not. If you are, well, that's what they're here for." Ozpin gestured around the room. "If you're not, then I'll have Qrow escort you out."
"And how exactly do you plan to do that?" Barragan questioned. "We're not just going to let you push us around."
"Is that a challenge?" Ozpin asked.
"Not at all," Jushiro chimed in. "We're just new here and are a little on edge."
"Speak for yourself." Barragan turned away.
"Anyway," Gin said. "How do you plan on going about that?"
"Nothing but a few questions, and an Aura Level Reading." He leaned forward in his chair. "How did you get here? What are your intentions? And, do you work for Salem?"
After another few seconds of awkward staring, Ulquiorra stepped forward. "It would be far easier to show you then explain it." He took another step forward and reached up to his eye. And everyone who knew what he was about to do had the exact same thought: Oh no. Those who didn't know were very confused, until his fingers entered his eye socket and he ripped the entire eyeball out of his skull.
Almost everyone nearly threw up at the sight of the optic nerves stretching and tearing as he continued to pull. When it finally severed, blood poured down the side of his face, but he just ignored it. Instead of freaking out like everyone else was now on the verge of, Ulquiorra shattered the eye in his hand like a ball of glass under a press. The shards spread all over the room and even those who tried to close their eyes couldn't stop what was happening from happening.
In an instant, they were submerged in what could only be described as an ocean of energy. 'They' opened 'their' eyes and saw what looked to be a Horned Demon with a sword staring down at 'them' before it threw a pale arm covered in black fur at 'them'. 'They' looked down and noticed 'their' missing arm, and immediately the pain hit, but it went ignored. The arm grew back and 'they' charged the monster in front of 'them'.
An unbelievably intense battle ensued between the two of 'them' that seemed to go on forever, and 'they' were constantly on the back foot. The horned demon always getting behind 'them' or blocking all attacks 'they' threw at it and counterattacking with something stronger. Everybody was unaccustomed to such high levels of power and they could feel the incredible might of both combatants trying to crush them into the ground.
But suddenly it all ended, stretching 'their' hand out to the orange-haired girl, Orihime, before disintegrating. What they saw next could not be described by any of them, even by those who had experienced it themselves. The colorless emptiness that surrounded them for Gods-knows how long, before a Golden Hand reached out, and 'they' felt the urge to grab it, and so 'they' did. Then there was the first fight with the grimm in the wilderness, followed by meeting Qrow, and ending where they were now.
"That about sums it up," Ulquiorra said before turning to his three companions. "Is that the same hand that you saw?" All three of them nodded.
"Qrow told me of your information transference," Ozpin stated, "but I didn't imagine it would be so gruesome."
"Indeed." Ulquiorra rubbed his now regenerated eye. "It was unpleasant before, but now it's agonizing. Luckily my high speed regeneration has stayed with me, otherwise I would be completely blind right now."
Ozpin looked at Ulquiorra's eye socket. He had pulled out the same eye twice, and now he had grown it back once again. "Interesting. Never before have I come across someone who could regain lost body parts in their entirety." He stood up and stepped in front of his desk. "Well, that at least answers if you're a threat or not. Assuming that vision is to be believed, most of your power has been locked away, leaving you unable to access it as you did before. That doesn't quite explain how you got here, but you don't even know yourselves. It also seems that you don't work for Salem or have any intentions what-so-ever."
"So I assume that only leaves the Aura Reading left?" Ulquiorra asked.
"That, and one more thing, but that can be discussed later in the day. In the mean time why don't you get some rest, we all need it. Qrow, why don't you escort them to the guest quarters?"
Gin lay awake in his bed for hours, thinking about what Ulquiorra had shown them all earlier. It was unfathomable that he could've hid such strength from everyone around him. How was such a thing even possible? No matter how much he thought about it, the more he believed he should have realized it sooner. He sighed. "I suppose there's no point in thinking about it now. We can't do what we could before, and we're just going to have to accept that."
He rolled onto his side and rested his head on his arm. Staring out into the dark room, he could see a light coming through the crack under the door. Probably just a safety feature so you couldn't get lost in the night. A creaking sound came from above him and he looked up to see what it was. He had forgotten about the window that was almost in the ceiling, but he didn't know it could open.
He opened his eyes and found Ulquiorra wasn't hanging from the ceiling. "He must have gone outside." Gin decided to follow him. Climbing up to the window was difficult as he didn't have wings and he couldn't step on the air anymore. After an awkward minute of clambering up the surface and the massive three-decker bunk-bed, he shimmied out the window and had to climb another twenty feet up before he came to a balcony.
"Can't sleep?" Ulquiorra inquired.
"No, you?" Gin hopped the railing and stood next him, breathing hard.
"Having to sleep is annoying."
"I've never known you to be annoyed at anything before." Gin rested his arms on the railing.
"I find it strange myself. And what of you? What's your reasoning for following me up here?"
"Ever the clinical mind. I was curious if what you showed earlier was true."
"Solita Vista cannot deliver false information, just as I do not. Personally I see no point in it."
"And yet you agreed to deceive Qrow when we first met him. Why is that?"
Ulquiorra didn't answer for what seemed like hours. He had his eyes closed as if in thought, but Gin couldn't help but wonder if he had actually fallen asleep. "It was the only thing that seemed practical at the time. If you found four strangers in the middle of the forest claiming to be from another world would you believe them?"
"I suppose not."
"And you? Why did you agree to it?"
"I guess for the same reason you did. There wasn't really anything else we could do at the time. With most of our power being sealed, or stolen, or whatever happened to it, we couldn't risk a fight with someone we had no information on. But now that we're here, I have no idea what to do."
"How do you mean?"
"I spent my entire life seeking revenge against Aizen for hurting a close friend when we were young. It's been the only thing driving me for a hundred years. With that gone, I don't know what to do. I have no reason for my existence anymore."
After a minute or two, Ulquiorra responded. "I find myself in a similar predicament. Aizen assigned me to protect Las Noches, and I failed. I have never failed before that point, and I find myself lost without a purpose. I also have no reason to continue existing, unless someone here can give us purpose."
"I've heard from some that purpose is something drawn from within." Their eyes widened at the new voice and they spun around, swords drawn. Neither had sensed or heard anything. Ozpin now stood in front of them, cane in between his feet, unflinching. "I suggest you put those away. It would be a shame to have an incident so high up."
"What are you doing here?" Ulquiorra questioned.
"I was about to ask you the same thing. This balcony is attached to my bedroom after-all. How did you two get up here?" He looked between them, not giving off the slightest bit of malevolence.
"We flew," Ulquiorra responded. "How did you sneak up on me? Only one other has been able to do such a thing."
"I saw, but for now let's just say, I've had to become very good at hiding myself."
"And why is that?" Gin asked.
"I'm afraid that's a secret you'll have to earn. For right now at least, I think it's best for you to return to your beds. Wouldn't want to be drowsy in the morning." He turned around and waved them off. "Good night."
Morning came and went. At around 10:00 everyone was up and once again in Ozpin's office, in the same positions as the previous night.
"First thing's first," Ozpin began. "How about a change of clothes? I can't imagine it's too comfortable being in the same set of clothes for three days and across universal boundaries." He motioned to his desk behind him. Four clean sets of clothes had been folded and placed there. They looked to be some sort of informal tuxedo, one of which was wider then the others, probably to accommodate Barragan's barrel-chest.
"That would be much appreciated," Jushiro said. "And maybe some breakfast as well. We haven't had a decent meal in quite a while."
"Of course. I'll have Glynda escort you to the Cafeteria after breakfast is over for the students. Aside from nutrition, we still need to take a reading on your Aura Levels, and discuss your living arrangements. Which should we start with?"
"I want to know where you'll be putting us," Barragan stated. "I don't want to be stuck in a hole in the wall."
"I hope that won't happen," Ozpin responded. "I could keep you here for at most a month without the students noticing, and you could get accustomed to this new world before venturing out into it I suppose. After that point, you'll have to find jobs and housing in the city. Technically you shouldn't even be allowed here without being a member of staff, a student or family."
"And where does that leave us then?" Gin asked.
"I just might be able to get away with it," Ozpin mused. "If I could just..."
"Stop prolonging the conversation," Ulquiorra demanded. "It is a waste of time and future resources. If you could just what?"
"You're awfully forceful aren't you?" Ozpin responded.
"Answer the question. I'm not inclined to listen to the ramblings of a fossil."
"Very well then. If I could just find a way to enroll you halfway into the first semester without it looking strange. The students would definitely notice, and I think it's in all our best interests to integrate you four into society as seamlessly as possible."
"And how do you propose to do that?"
"I think that's best answered by yourselves."
"Enough with the half-answers. Tell us what we want to know or I will cut it out of you." Ulquiorra stepped forward and went for his sword. Simultaneously, the huntsmen drew their weapons and Jushiro grabbed his hand, keeping Murcielago from moving. "Let go of me."
"Do you not understand the position we're in?" Jushiro practically screamed. "We have no idea how or why we're here and we have little idea of where 'here' is. You will not draw us into a battle with those that we do not understand. Tame your anger or we will not help you. Is that understood?"
Ulquiorra's eyes widened slightly. It felt like a blindfold was being removed, and he stepped back, releasing his hold on Murcielago. "I apologize for my outburst. It seems this 'heart' is more difficult to control then I first thought. I will be silent for the rest of this conversation." He took Murcielago from his sash and handed it to Jushiro.
"Then may I continue?" Ozpin requested, getting a nod from Ulquiorra. "Good. I suggest that you four decide what you want to do before the end of the week, and we can go from there. If your Aura tests show promise, as Qrow insists they must, then there might be a future for you here at the Academy. Thankfully, with it being the weekend, most of the students should be in the city, which should make it easier to get everything done that needs to be. To start with, the Aura readings. Glynda, would you do the honors?"
The blonde woman with the riding crop pulled a flat piece of glass from her pocket and somehow made it extend past what it should've been able to. "Hold out your hands please." Each of them held out one hand and she started with Gin. As the device continued to beep in his hand, Glynda's eyes got wider and wider. It stopped beeping and she moved to Barragan, with a very similar result.
Once is a miracle, twice is a coincidence, but thrice is a pattern. Finally, moving to Ulquiorra, she was surprised that his aura levels were not off the charts. What the Hell is going on here?
"Jushiro," Ozpin said. "If you would give Ulquiorra his sword back."
Jushiro hesitantly obliged, but kept a firm hold on it. To Glynda's surprise, Ulquiorra's aura spiked to unseen levels, even in the other three. It was greater then Gin's, not too much more then Jushiro's, and just above Barragan's. He was the strongest of them, but he also seemed to have the worst temper, a bad combination.
Glynda showed the device and it's readings to Ozpin and Jushiro just about ripped Ulquiorra's hand off when he pulled Murcielago out of his grip. Ozpin studied the readings and his eyes also widened. If what he had been feeling from before was them concealing their presence, he didn't want to know what it would feel like if they could radiate that much power. It made him think back to what Ulquiorra had shown them last night. That absolutely crushing pressure would probably level everything around them. And if these reading were anything to go by, Ulquiorra wasn't even pushing himself during that fight.
Oh Gods, if he had been trying to kill that thing, there's a possibility that he wouldn't have lost at all. If Ulquiorra was that strong, and the other three were on a similar level to him, they would be the greatest fighting force in the world. So far beyond anything Remnant had seen since the Age of the Gods, and possibly even further back then that.
"So what's wrong?" Barragan asked. "Are you going to say something or what?"
Ozpin and Glynda looked at him. "All in good time," Ozpin replied. "But for now, how about some breakfast."
"That was completely uncalled for," Jushiro scolded. "The next time you act like that I'm turning you over my knee and spanking you like a child."
Ulquiorra sat in the chair against the wall. It had been a few minutes since they ate. Jushiro and Ulquiorra had gone back to their room while Gin and Barragan headed for the library. "I understand. It won't happen again."
"It had better not, and I'm not kidding about the threat. I will do it, in front of everyone if I have to."
"And what would be the point of that?"
"Humiliating you. It's supposed to be extra incentive to not do whatever got you there again. It certainly worked in training. Master Yamamoto would do it to anyone who misbehaved, and the person it happened to would get bullied about it for weeks afterward."
"I assure you it will not come to that."
"I certainly hope so, but just in case, I'm going to hang on to your sword for a while if you don't mind." He slid the weapon into his new belt next to Sogyo no Kotowari.
"I would like it back, but I take it you're not going to give it to me." He stood up from the chair to stretch his wings. His new shirt had slits in the back so he didn't have to take it off whenever he wanted to fly anymore. "It seems I'll have to earn it then."
"Precisely. Let this be a learning opportunity for you. The human heart is a strange thing and can cloud the mind if you're not careful. You can get it back at the end of the day. In the mean time, I'm going to join Gin and Barragan in the library. I want you to stay here and meditate, try to figure out your new heart."
"Will it really be that easy?"
"Of course not, but it's best you start now. It will make it easier down the line, trust me." And with that, he left.
Jushiro strolled down the hallway as he looked at the map he was holding. On his way gave him some time to think. What were they going to do after they left the school? They could look for housing in the city, but what about income, and for minors at that? While technically inaccurate due to their mental age, their bodies appeared to be teenagers, and that could make things complicated. On top of that, there was Ulquiorra's unexpected outburst earlier which hadn't helped matters.
In any case, they would have to find a place to stay and wait for next year to get into the academy. Really that was their best option. They were all warriors to some degree after all. What else could they do?
That's when he found the library and he quietly walked inside, finding Gin at a table surrounded with books. He looked around and Barragan was nowhere to be seen.
"Are we alone?" he asked.
Gin shook his head. "The librarian has been keeping a close eye on us. She might know that we're not students."
"Did you show her the passes the headmaster gave us?"
"It didn't really seem to make a difference. I think Barragan's presence has her on edge."
"Speaking of which, where is he?"
Gin pointed behind him. "Off to the left, in the government section."
Jushiro nodded and walked away, finding Barragan where Gin said he was. "Find anything interesting?"
"Yes. This world consists of four main nations that they call kingdoms, but they don't actually have any royal families. You can't have a kingdom without royalty, so their naming conventions are lacking. Other then that, there are a few places worth mentioning that aren't considered nations so much as general areas. One such place is Menagerie. It's called an island in the anecdotal accounts but a continent in the official texts. The strange thing is there's only people called Faunus living there. Apparently there's no humans allowed. Stupid prejudices or the like I'd imagine, but I put Gin on that part of it."
"Culture and history for him then?"
"Correct. Back to the kingdoms not actually being monarchies, the central government is run by a council of three to four people. One person can hold up to two seats where we are but..." He looked around. "Where's Ulquiorra? Wasn't he with you?"
"I've grounded him for the day." He placed a hand on Murcielago. "After that outburst earlier, he needs to do some reflecting, and try to figure out how to deal with it. He can't be letting his emotions take control of him like that, none of us can. If we're to survive in this place, we're going to have to keep our heads, no matter what."
Barragan grumbled something and sighed. "This is going to be painful."
After speaking with Barragan, Jushiro hit the education section. Several hours passed and his stomach began to grumble. Closing his book, he walked back to the other two. "Lunch break everyone. Let's go."
They followed him down to the cafeteria, making sure to avoid other people, and got some food, which primarily consisted of sandwiches and various kinds of vegetables. They were expecting more considering what they had for breakfast, but coming in three hours after they were supposed to be there would be a little disappointing. After a while they had finished eating and were heading back up to their room to compile information, and take Ulquiorra something to eat.
Jushiro, who had the map, opened the door and looked around, eyes widening. Ulquiorra was nowhere to be found.
"No no no NO! Where did he go!?" Jushiro screamed.
"I think I know where he may have gone to." Gin put a hand on Jushiro's shoulder before climbing up the bunk-beds and out the open window. Scrambling up the side of the building wasn't any easier in the daytime. A minute of frenzied grasping at small ledges and handholds eventually led him up to Ozpin's balcony where he hopped the railing and stood next to Ulquiorra. "Jushiro is looking for you."
"I heard. His voice is ear-piercing when it gets to that volume." He stuck a finger in his ear-canal, picked out some wax and flicked it into the wind. "I guess we should head back down then." He began spreading his wings.
"Agreed, and could you stop coming up here? It's quite difficult climbing up that wall." He grabbed Ulquiorra's hands as he lifted off and they flew back through the window, landing right in front of Jushiro and Barragan.
"Where were you?" Jushiro questioned.
"There's a balcony above that window," Ulquiorra responded. "I discovered on our first night here that standing somewhere high where I can feel the wind calms my heart-rate and allows me to think faster."
"And who, does the balcony belong to?" Jushiro held the bridge of his nose and sat on the bottom bunk.
"It's attached to Ozpin's bedroom," Ulquiorra responded.
"Of course it is," Jushiro sighed, now rubbing his temples.
"I've never known you to yell like that, Jushiro," Gin stated. "But then, I think this is the first time I've ever heard you yell at all."
"We've all been under a lot of stress lately. Getting killed and thrown across universal boundaries will do that." He took a deep breath in and exhaled it. "We just need to stay calm, and figure out what we're going to do for the immediate future." He flopped across the mattress. "But, I think that can wait until tomorrow. I'm sure we all still feel weak and could use the rest."
"Agreed," Barragan said. "The stupidity of this world's governments is infuriating. Kingdoms without kings, that can't be called a nation, let-a-lone a kingdom." He clomb up to the middle bunk, leaving the top for Gin, and Ulquiorra opting for the rafters again.
Barragan opened his eyes to the white, smoky void surrounding him. "What now? Was I killed again?" He continued to look around, not knowing what to expect.
After a few minutes, a figure stepped through the mist. It was lean and a little shorter then he was. As it continued towards him, he began to see it clearer. It was a woman, carrying a weapon that resembled an axe but had all sorts of unnecessary complexity to it. She had short hair tied in a half-ponytail, going from black at her scalp to red at the ends. She wore a silver and red cloak, and she was covered in blood. Right before his eyes, wounds began to sprout and grow, blood pouring down her small frame as she continued to sag to the ground, getting weaker with each drop lost.
"Who are you?" He asked. "Are we dead?"
"Help me," she begged weakly. "Please."
"I'm not particularly fond of helping those I do not know, and even the people I do know aren't worth much to me. Not enough to help them unless we were all in danger." His eyes narrowed. "So I ask again. Who are you?"
"I am-" her body convulsed and she threw up more blood then she should have had left in her entire body. "You must seek out Ozpin. Tell him-" she convulsed again.
"I know Ozpin, but at this point he seems more a fool then reliable. Who are you? Why do you wish me to seek him out?"
"You must-" she gripped her shoulders so hard she pierced her own flesh. "Please. You must warn him."
"Warn him of what? What are you trying to tell me?"
Manacles appeared on her wrists and chains flew from the smoke, attaching themselves to the shackles and began to pull her back. "Please, tell him she's coming."
"Who are you? How am I to know if you're trustworthy or not?"
"My name is-"
"Summer Rose." He sat up and slid out of bed, landing almost silently on the floor below. He walked over to the door and stepped through. Carefully and quietly making his way back to the library was made difficult with his night vision missing. "Being mortal is irritating." He came to the door and grabbed the handle. He gently turned the knob, but after a short distance, it caught. Locked.
There has to be some way to get in there. I did slow time yesterday, and not just around myself like normal. If I could localize and reverse it. He quickly checked for anyone else around again and there still wasn't. Time for a little experiment. He focused all his attention on the locking mechanism and tried to accelerate it's time, similar to Respira, but on a much smaller scale. He closed his eyes as he could almost feel the metal deteriorating in the door, and after a few brief seconds, the door came loose.
He stepped through the now open passage and slid the door back where it had been, but then he saw his hand. It was glowing a faint purple. It seems I've found my light source.
An hour later, Barragan finally found the personnel section, behind a metal grating with a sign on it.
Restricted
Instead of trying to find a way around it like anyone else probably would have, Barragan decided to test out his 'new' trick. With just the slightest bit of ease from the last time, the lock crumbled into a pile of rust at his feet. Walking through the open gate, he subconsciously waved his hand and the rust vanished in a purple glow.
First he looked in S and when Summer didn't come up, he decided to look in R. Apparently they filed paperwork using the last name first. This place really is backwards. At least I've found her. He pulled her file out and looked it over under the light of his hand. Weapon of choice: An axe/rifle hybrid named Sundered Rose. Well, we won't stand out with named weapons then. Part of team S-T-R-Q when attending Beacon Academy. Wonder what that's about. Married to Taiyang Xiao-Long of the same team, and had a daughter by the name of Ruby Rose. Hasn't been seen or heard from in almost ten years. He stopped. Ten years out there in the wilderness? Ordinary humans wouldn't be able to survive out there for that long, no matter how strong they were. Current Location: Unknown.
"Taiyang Xiao-Long of the same team?" He put the file under his arm and went searching again. Do I look under X or L? I'll try both. That Q is suspicious though. I wonder who it could be. He quickly found Tai's file in X, but this time his last name, (names?) was spelled as one word without the dash. Taiyang Xiaolong. Weapon of choice: A club/R-P-G hybrid, similar to that of his classmate, Bartholomew Oobleck, by the name of Chuo. What is an R-P-G? Part of team S-T-R-Q when attending Beacon Academy. Previously married to both female members of the team, Summer Rose and Raven Branwen. Branwen? Fathered children with both. Current Location: Lives on Patch Island north-west of Vale with both daughters and teaches at Signal Combat Academy as a lead-up to Beacon entry.
He tucked that file under his arm too and searched for Branwen. He quickly found two, one named Raven and the other, Qrow. He started with Raven. Weapon of choice: A sword that switches out Dust Blades in it's revolving scabbard by the name of Omen. Hah, yeah right. Part of team S-T-R-Q when attending Beacon Academy. Sister of team member Qrow Branwen. Interesting. Married to Taiyang Xiao-Long of the same team, and had a daughter by the name of Yang Xiao-Long. Creative. Abandoned Yang and left Taiyang to take care of her alone to go back to the Branwen Bandits. Hasn't been seen or heard from since. Current Location: Unknown. Figures. He placed the files under his arm on top of Raven's with Qrow's on top of the stack.
Weapon of choice: A sword/shotgun/scythe hybrid by the name of Harbinger. Part of team S-T-R-Q when attending Beacon Academy. Brother of team member Raven Branwen. Siblings, eh? So he's from a bandit camp as well. We'll have to be careful. Only member of the team still in active duty after recently retiring from a teaching role at Signal Academy. Current Location: Unknown. No surprise there. I wouldn't expect the paperwork in a place like this to be kept up to date every hour of every day.
A presence passed on the edge of his senses and he immediately suppressed everything he had. After barely a minute, the librarian gingerly pushed the door open. Why is she here? That's when he saw his shadow on the floor. It's morning already? When did I wake up? I'm going to have to get out of here without being noticed somehow.
"Who's in there?" She called out. "If it's a student, come out now and you won't be in very much trouble." She waited. "Come out now. I'm warning you." Barragan picked up the largest book he could find, and slowing down time for just a second as he threw it gave the book three times the speed it would've had if he had not.
The Librarian heard quite a loud crashing and saw papers flying in the back of the room and ran to investigate. "If you're trying to escape, it won't work." Oh yes it will. Barragan slowed time again and ran for the door, slamming it shut behind him, and with a subconscious wave of his hand, rusted the latch shut. Before he could get too tired, he sprinted down the halls towards the room they were staying in and launched himself into bed where he was now out of sight. Little did he know, that a green eye from above had been watching him.
Ulquiorra shifted in his wings and covered his face completely.
Author's note: So, I know it's been almost two months, but hey, two is better then three. Once again late on a chapter because of my own laziness. I'm sorry. If the next chapter isn't out in a week, I give everybody full permission to harass me in the PMs about it. Anyway, this chapter was supposed to be longer then this and end in a different place, but then the whole Summer thing came out of nowhere and messed up the plan. Oh well. What do you think of that idea? Send any ideas, or harassment if it takes more then a week, for the next chapter and the chapters to come. Until then, the next one should be up in a week. Hopefully. End author's note.
