Exploring East Province Area Three
Once everyone ate, they exit the cavern to continue their adventure.
"So, what will you guys do now?" Lincoln asked the Arvens.
"We're gonna look for where the fifth Herba Mystica is, since you've seen where the Titan Pokemon is in the Asada Desert." said Naranja Arven.
"What about you?" asked Uva Arven.
"I'm thinking we can hang out here and explore for a little bit, maybe get in some training for our Pokemon." said Lincoln.
"Yeah, we want to be ready for our future gym battles." said Stan.
"Well, I have to get back to Levincia and upload that intense Titan Pokemon battle." said Naranja Iono.
"Do you really have to go?" asked Leni. "I'll bet Linky wishes you could stay with us a little longer." Lincoln does in fact looked a little upset.
"Hey, Iono has a responsibility to her followers." said Ronnie Anne with a smirk. "She should definitely go back to Levinicia."
"Couldn't she send the video to the other Iono with her Rotom Phone and have her upl...OOOF!" Bobby started to say before Ronnie Anne elbowed him in the stomach. Naranja Iono glares at Ronnie Anne.
"As much as I want to spend as much time with Linky as possilbe; I'd feel bad about making the other Iono do all the work herself." said Naranja Iono.
"I understand." said Lincoln. "Maybe we can stop by Levincia now and then and hang out more." Lincoln's sisters agree to that idea.
"That would be so awesome!" said Naranja Iono. She then walks over to Lincoln and gives him a kiss on the lips strong enough to leave both of them breathless, making Lincoln's sisters hardly able to contain their delight, and making Ronnie Anne growl. "That's to tide you over until the next time we see each other."
"Thanks, Iono." said Lincoln with a blush. Naranja Iono starts walking back towards Levincia, giving Lincoln a wink as she does. Seeing this, Ronnie Anne steps in front of Lincoln and glares at Naranja Iono who glares back at her.
"So, should we do what we did yesterday when we helped your family and friends?" asked Stan.
"Yeah." replied Lincoln. "I'll be with Clyde and Ronnie Anne."
"I'll help your grandfather." said Stan.
"I'll help Luna and Sam." said Kyle.
"I'll help Lucy." said Kenny.
"I got these two lovebirds." said Cartman as he looks at Lori and Bobby who were holding hands and looking into each other's eyes.
"I want to go with Ed." said Lana as she was hugging him and breathing in his stench.
"Me, too." said Lynn.
"I will accompany Lisa and Lola." said Edd.
"And I'll help Leni and Luan." said Eddy.
"Hey, I want to train my Pokemon for a bit; so, can Lily stick with you, Lincoln?" asked Butters.
"Sure." said Lincoln as he straps Lily to his chest. Lily giggles in response.
"I'm gonna train my Pokemon, too." said Trent.
"Looks like we got plans." said Lincoln. Just then, Lincoln, Stan, Kyle, Kenny, Cartman, Butters, and the Eds' Rotom Phones rang. They fly out and turn on, showing Professor Sada and Professor Turo.
"Hello, everyone." said Professor Sada. Lisa walks over to Lincoln's Rotom Phone and looks at the screen.
"Greetings, Professor Sada." said Lisa.
"Lisa Loud? Why are you there?" asked Professor Sada.
"I came to accompany my brother on his adventure." said Lisa.
"I assume that's why you wished to know where the Paldea Region and Naranja Academy were?" said Professor Sada.
"Your assumption is correct." said Lisa.
"Anyway, we called to let you know we detected another power surge from your Koraidons and Miraidon." said Professor Turo.
"Did they consume more Herba Mystica sandwiches?" asked Professor Sada.
"Yes, they did." said Edd.
"Did they get another cool ability?" asked Stan.
"Yes." said Professor Turo. "They can jump higher now."
"Sweet!" said Kyle. The boys hop onto their Koraidons and Miraidon and had them jump as high as they could. They do so and they jumped hundreds of feet into the air.
"Awesome!" said Cartman as they landed back on the ground. The boys hop off the Pokemon and returned them to their pokeballs.
"Keep trying to find the Herba Mystica and they might regain their full strength." said Professor Turo.
"We will." said the Arvens.
"Be careful, son." both professors said at the same time. They end the call, leaving everyone to continue their adventure.
"Should we get started?" asked Lincoln.
"Yeah!" everyone cheers out. Everyone goes off to explore the area. Ed was training his Pokemon to prepare for the next Titan Pokemon. His Floragato, Grafaiai, Klawf, and Numel got stronger, his Flaaffy learned Power Gem, and his Goomy learned Rain Dance. During the training, Flaaffy began to glow.
"My Flaaffy's evolving." said Ed. Lynn and Lana turned and ran to Ed and watched as Flaaffy began to grow taller. When the glowing stopped, Flaaffy had no wool on her, she now had rubbery yellow skin with a white belly, a long neck with three black lines around it, a red orb on her forehead and another on the end of her tail.
"What's Flaaffy now?" asked Lana. Ed points his Rotom Phone at the newly evolved Flaaffy.
"Ampharos, the Light Pokemon, and the final form of Mareep. When it gets dark, the light from its bright, shiny tail can be seen from far away on the ocean's surface." said Ed's Rotom Phone.
"Yay!" cheered Ed. "And this says my Ampharos now knows Thunder Punch."
"Sounds like a punch I would not want to be on the recieving end of." said Lynn.
"Nope." replied Ed.
Lynn trained her Crabrawler and she learned Slam. As she trained, she heard something moving. She looks and sees what appeared to be a giant pokeball rolling along.
"Whoa, look at the size of that pokeball." said Lynn, pointing at the pokeball. The pokeball suddenly stopped rolling and turned around, revealing a pair of eyes on it. "Wait, that's not a pokeball. Hey, Ed, what's that?" Ed points his Rotom Phone at the 'pokeball'.
"Voltorb, the Ball Pokemon. It's usually found in power plants. Easily mistaken for a Poké Ball, it has zapped many people." said Ed's Rotom Phone. Looking at the ball Pokemon reminded Lynn of baseballs, basketballs, soccer balls, even the tennis ball she bounces against the wall of her and Lucy's bedroom. She hopes that once their adventure in the Paldea League is over and they return to Royal Woods with Lincoln, her suspensions from all her sports teams will be lifted and she can play on them again, but right now, she's focusing on the present. She returns her attention to the Voltorb.
"This Pokemon reminds me of sports balls, also, I like this Pokemon's colors." said Lynn. "I'm catching this Pokemon." She turned towards her Crabrawler. "Let's go, Crabrawler." Crabrawler steps forward. "Crabrawler, use Brick Break!" Crabrawler leaps at Voltorb and strikes it with her pincer. "Oh yeah! How do you like that, Voltorb?" Voltorb responds by unleashing a beam of electricity which hits Crabrawler, knocking her back. "Hey!" Voltorb begins to surge with energy. "Crabrawler, Rock Smash!" Crabrawler's pincer glows white and she hits Voltorb with it, damaging it and weakening its defense. Voltorb releases stars from its body and they hit Crabrawler, knocking her to the ground. She struggles to get up. "Don't give up, Crabrawler. Show that Pokemon who's boss with Slam!" Crabrawler grabs Voltorb with both pincers and lifts it up and tosses it into a large rock. Lynn takes an empty pokeball out of her pocket, enlarges it and throws it at Voltorb, hitting it and sucking it in. It wiggled around a couple times until it clicks, indicating a successful capture. Lynn picks it up and spins it on her finger. "Oh yeah! Voltorb's mine!"
"Good job." said Ed. He uses his Rotom Phone to look up Voltorb's information. "Okay, this says Voltorb is not a boy or girl, it knows Charge, Tackle, Thunder Shock, Eerie Impulse, Spark, Rollout, Screech, Charge Beam, Swift, Electro Ball, and..." An upset expression appears on Ed's face when he sees what the last move was. "Self-Destruct."
"What's wrong, Ed?" asked Lana.
"Yeah, what does that move do?" asked Lynn.
"The Pokemon blows itself up." replied Ed, surprising Lynn and Lana. "I hate moves that makes a Pokemon knock itself out." Ed takes a deep breath to calm himself down and looks at his Rotom Phone. "Anyway, Voltorb has the Static ability, which may parlayze a Pokemon that attacks it physically."
Lana trained her Grimer and she learned Minimize and Toxic while her Varoom learned Screech. A splashing sound got her attention. She walks to a small body of water and sees a light gray, serpentine Pokemon with blue fins, a round blue nose with a pair of whiskers coming out of it, and a black jagged line on the side of it.
"Hey, what's this Pokemon?" asked Lana. Ed points his Rotom Phone at the Pokemon.
"Barboach, the Whiskers Pokemon. It probes muddy riverbeds with its two long whiskers. A slimy film protects its body." said Ed's Rotom Phone.
"A Pokemon that swims around in muddy water?" said Lana. "Sounds like my kind of Pokemon." She turned towards Varoom. "Let's go, Varoom." Varoom moves in front of Lana. "Use Screech!" Varoom releases soundwaves from his body and onto Barboach, weakening its defense. Barboach opens its mouth and releases a stream of mud out of it and it hits Varoom, dealing super effective damage and lowering his accuracy. "It attacks with mud? Now I really want this Pokemon. Okay, Varoom, use Headbutt!" Varoom charges at Barboach and rams it, dealing a lot of damage due to its defense being weakened. Barbaoch floats on the water, struggling to move. Lana takes out her last pokeball and throws it at Barboach, hitting it and sucking it in. It wiggled around a couple times until it clicks, indicating Barboach's capture. Lana lifts the pokeball out of the water. "Yes! Barboach is mine!"
"Great job, Lana." said Lynn. Ed uses his Rotom Phone to learn about Lana's new Barboach.
"Okay, this says your Barboach is a boy, he knows Water Gun, Mud-Slap, Rest, Snore, and Water Pulse." said Ed. "He has the Anticipation ability, which lets it know if an opposing Pokemon knows any moves that can knock it out with one hit or are very effective against him."
"Okay, Ed." said Lana. She spent time training her new Barboach and he learned Amnesia. After training, Lana saw their Pokemon looked tired. "I think we should bring our Pokemon to one of those Pokemon Centers." Ed saw that their Pokemon look exhausted.
"Yep. We should." After returning their Pokemon to their pokeballs, Ed looks at the map on his Rotom Phone and saw where the nearest Pokemon Center is and he begins leading Lynn and Lana to it.
With Edd, Lisa, and Lola; they were exploring another part of the area while training up their Pokemon.
Edd's Quaxwell learned Air Slash and Focus Energy, his Spidops learned Headbutt, his Bronzor learned Extrasensory, his Swablu learned Sing, his Dolliv learned Seed Bomb and Energy Ball, and his Naclstack learned Recover.
Lisa's Magnemite learned Screech and Magnet Rise.
Lola's Deerling learned Zen Headbutt and Energy Ball, and her Teddiursa learned Slash and Play Nice.
"I am quite pleased with the progress of my Pokemon's training." said Edd.
"As am I." said Lisa.
"I like how cute my Pokemon are." said Lola.
"I wonder how fond you will be of them when they evolve." wondered Edd.
"Why? What will they be like?" asked Lola. Edd pulls out his Rotom Phone and brings up a picture of a Pokemon that looked like a large, brown, elklike Pokemon with pink flowers in its antlers.
"Sawsbuck, the Season Pokemon, and the evolved form of Deerling. There are many Sawsbuck enthusiasts. The paler the pink flowers that bloom on its antlers, the more beautiful the Sawsbuck is considered to be." said Edd's Rotom Phone.
"I'm fine with this." said Lola. "It looks so majestic, and I can see myself riding on its back like you and your friends do with Miraidon."
"Now let me show you what Teddiursa will become." said Edd. He brings up a video of a large, dark brown, gruff-looking, bearlike Pokemon with long sharp claws, and a circle on its torso, roaring out loud, frightening Lola.
"What is that?!" asked Lola. Edd brings up a pokedex entry on his Rotom Phone.
"Ursaring, the Hibernator Pokemon, and the evolved form of Teddiursa. It is quite skilled at climbing trees. If it comes across a Primeape while searching for berries in the treetops, trouble will surely ensue." said the Rotom Phone.
"My adorable little Teddiursa's going to become that thing?!" asked Lola as she holds her Teddiursa close to her.
"If she reaches a high enough level." said Edd.
"Is there a way to stop that from happening?" asked Lola with tears in her eyes.
"Well, if she's holding an Everstone, that will stop her from evolving no matter what." said Edd.
"What's an Everstone?" asked Lisa.
"A stone that gives off a strange energy that negates the energy that causes Pokemon to evolve." explained Edd.
"So, if I find an Everstone and let my Teddiursa hold it, she won't evolve?" asked Lola.
"That is correct." said Edd.
"Then I'll keep my eyes open for one." said Lola. Edd brings up a picture of an Everstone on his Rotom Phone and shows it to Lola, so she knew what one looked like.
"I believe we should look for a Pokemon Center." said Edd.
"Very well." said Lisa. They all look for one on Edd's Rotom Phone's map and start walking to it.
With Eddy, Leni, and Luan; they were looking around the area, training their Pokemon as they do. Eddy's Crocalor learned Roar and Flamethrower, his Murkrow learned Taunt, his Luxio learned Volt Switch, his Gabite learned Bite, and his Tauros learned Scary Face and Zen Headbutt. His Gimmighoul got a bit stronger, and during Luxio's training, he froze up and started to glow.
"Hey! Your Luxio's evolving!" said Luan. They all watch as Luxio started to change. When he was done, he was larger, his body was almost completely covered in black fur except his back feet, and his eyes were red with yellow irises. Eddy points his Rotom Phone at his newly evolved Luxio.
"Luxray, the Gleam Eyes Pokemon, and the fully evolved form of Shinx. Luxray's ability to see through objects comes in handy when it's scouting for danger." said Eddy's Rotom Phone.
"Am I great or what?" asked Eddy. Leni and Luan do eyerolls. Leni spots a Gimmighoul Roaming Form standing behind a sign.
"What's that Pokemon?" asked Leni. Eddy looks and his eyes widen upon seeing it.
"Shhh." said Eddy as he sneaks behind the Gimmighoul and grabs its coins.
"What are you gonna do with those coins?" asked Luan.
"My Gimmighoul needs them to evolve." said Eddy.
"Oh." said Luan. "You want us to keep an eye out for more of them?"
"Sure, that would be great!" said Eddy.
Luan trained her Pokemon as well. Her Impidimp learned Sucker Punch and Torment, and her Sunkern learned Giga Drain and Endeavor.
Leni's Flamigo learned Payback, and her Bounsweet learned Magical Leaf. Also, during Bounsweet's training, she froze up and started to glow.
"O-M-Gosh! My Bounsweet's evolving!" said Leni. They all watch as Bounsweet started to change. When she was done, she had a humanoid body with dark purple legs and torso, white arms, and head, and lower body, and two large leaves hanging down the sides of her head with smaller ones hanging down the front and back of it. Eddy takes out his Rotom Phone and points it at the newly evolved Bounsweet.
"Steenee, the Fruit Pokemon, and the evolved form of Bounsweet. Steenee bounces energetically through forests. If the rind that peels off its body is pulverized, it can be used to treat stomach pains." said Eddy's Rotom Phone.
"She's so beautiful!" said Leni. Eddy slides in closer to Leni and wraps one of his arms around her waist.
"Not as beautiful as you, babe." said Eddy, making Leni uncomfortable and moving his arm off her waist, making Eddy groan. Luan looks around and sees an orange rock that had multiple points sticking out of it.
"What's this?" asked Luan. Eddy looks at the stone and shrugs.
"Maybe Double-D would know." said Eddy.
"Okay, I'll ask him or Lincoln next time I see either of them." said Luan.
"Maybe we should go to one of those Pokemon Centers and get our Pokemon healed." said Eddy. After finding the location of the nearest one on his Rotom Phone, the three start walking to it. What will happen to the group next?
