Exploring East Province Area Three
Once everyone ate, they exit the cavern to continue their adventure.
"So, what will you guys do now?" Lincoln asked the Arvens.
"We're gonna look for where the fifth Herba Mystica is, since you seen where the Titan Pokemon is in the Asada Desert." said Naranja Arven.
"What about you?" asked Uva Arven.
"I'm thinking we can hang out here and explore for a little bit, maybe get in some training for our Pokemon." said Lincoln.
"Yeah, we want to be ready for our future gym battles." said Stan.
"Well, I have to get back to Levincia and upload that intense Titan Pokemon battle." said Naranja Iono.
"Do you really have to go?" asked Leni. "I'll bet Linky wishes you could stay with us a little longer." Lincoln does in fact looked a little upset.
"Hey, Iono has a responsibility to her followers." said Ronnie Anne with a smirk. "She should definitely go back to Levinicia."
"Couldn't she send the video to the other Iono with her Rotom Phone and have her upl...OOOF!" Bobby started to say before Ronnie Anne elbowed him in the stomach. Naranja Iono glares at Ronnie Anne.
"As much as I want to spend as much time with Linky as possilbe; I'd feel bad about making the other Iono do all the work herself." said Naranja Iono.
"I understand." said Lincoln. "Maybe we can stop by Levincia now and then and hang out more." Lincoln's sisters agree to that idea.
"That would be so awesome!" said Naranja Iono. She then walks over to Lincoln and gives him a kiss on the lips strong enough to leave both of them breathless, making Lincoln's sisters hardly able to contain their delight, and making Ronnie Anne growl. "That's to tide you over until the next time we see each other."
"Thanks, Iono." said Lincoln with a blush. Naranja Iono starts walking back towards Levincia, giving Lincoln a wink as she does. Seeing this, Ronnie Anne steps in front of Lincoln and glares at Naranja Iono who glares back at her.
"So, should we do what we did yesterday when we helped your family and friends?" asked Stan.
"Yeah." replied Lincoln. "I'll be with Clyde and Ronnie Anne."
"I'll help your grandfather." said Stan.
"I'll help Luna and Sam." said Kyle.
"I'll help Lucy." said Kenny.
"I got these two lovebirds." said Cartman as he looks at Lori and Bobby who were holding hands and looking into each other's eyes.
"I want to go with Ed." said Lana as she was hugging him and breathing in his stench.
"Me, too." said Lynn.
"I will accompany Lisa and Lola." said Edd.
"And I'll help Leni and Luan." said Eddy.
"Hey, I want to train my Pokemon for a bit; so, can Lily stick with you, Lincoln?" asked Butters.
"Sure." said Lincoln as he straps Lily to his chest. Lily giggles in response.
"I'm gonna train my Pokemon, too." said Trent.
"Looks like we got plans." said Lincoln. Just then, Lincoln, Stan, Kyle, Kenny, Cartman, Butters, and the Eds' Rotom Phones rang. They fly out and turn on, showing Professor Sada and Professor Turo.
"Hello, everyone." said Professor Sada. Lisa walks over to Lincoln's Rotom Phone and looks at the screen.
"Greetings, Professor Sada." said Lisa.
"Lisa Loud? Why are you there?" asked Professor Sada.
"I came to accompany my brother on his adventure." said Lisa.
"I assume that's why you wished to know where the Paldea Region and Naranja Academy were?" said Professor Sada.
"Your assumption is correct." said Lisa.
"Anyway, we called to let you know we detected another power surge from your Koraidons and Miraidon." said Professor Turo.
"Did they consume more Herba Mystica sandwiches?" asked Professor Sada.
"Yes, they did." said Edd.
"Did they get another cool ability?" asked Stan.
"Yes." said Professor Turo. "They can jump higher now."
"Sweet!" said Kyle. The boys hop onto their Koraidons and Miraidon and had them jump as high as they could. They do so and they jumped hundreds of feet into the air.
"Awesome!" said Cartman as they landed back on the ground. The boys hop off the Pokemon and returned them to their pokeballs.
"Keep trying to find the Herba Mystica and they might regain their full strength." said Professor Turo.
"We will." said the Arvens.
"Be careful, son." both professors said at the same time. They end the call, leaving everyone to continue their adventure.
"Should we get started?" asked Lincoln.
"Yeah!" everyone cheers out. Everyone goes off to explore the area. Butters was training his Pokemon, making them stronger as he did. His Charcadet learned Incinerate, his Skiddo learned Bulldoze, his Tinkatink learned Brutal Swing, and his Oricorio learned Acrobatics and Teeter Dance. During the training, Tinkatink began to glow.
"Oh boy, Tinkatink's evolving." said Butters. Tinkatink began to grow. When the glowing stopped, Tinkatink was bigger, she had a white, ponytail-like growth on her head, and her hammer was now bigger. "What are you now, Tinkatink?" He pulls out his Rotom Phone and points it at the newly-evolved Tinkatink.
"Tinkatuff, the Hammer Pokemon and the evolved form of Tinkatink. This Pokémon will attack groups of Pawniard and Bisharp, gathering metal from them in order to create a large and sturdy hammer." said the Rotom Phone.
"Boy, this is super neato." said Butters, excitedly. Butters suddenly hears movement nearby. He looks to see an orange and dark bluish-green, elephantlike Pokemon walking by. "Whoa, what is that?" He points his Rotom Phone at the Pokemon.
"Cufant, the Copperderm Pokemon. Using the pointy tip of its trunk, it carves off chunks of hard rocks to eat. It is very docile and helps people with physical labor." said Butters Rotom Phone. Butters turns towards Charcadet.
"Hey, Charcadet. Want to help me catch this Pokemon?" asked Butters. Charcadet nods. Cufant turns towards Butters and Charcadet. "Okay, Charcadet, let's try your new Incinerate move." Charcadet holds out his arms and forms a fireball in front of them. He launches it at Cufant, hitting it and dealing super effective to it. "Good thing fire type moves are strong against steel type Pokemon." Cufant suddenly rolls towards Charcadet and rams into him, dealing super effective damage. "You okay, pal?" Charcadet nods in response. "Good. Now use Flame Charge!" Charcadet becomes surrounded by fire and he charges at Cufant, ramming into it and dealing super effective to it. Seeing Cufant struggle to get up, Butters takes out an empty pokeball and throws it at Cufant, hitting it and sucking it in. After it wiggled around a few times, it clicks, indicating a successful capture. "Whoopee! I caught a Cufant!" Cufant's pokeball vanishes. Butters uses his Rotom Phone to swap his Pichu for his new Cufant. He then uses his Rotom Phone to learn more about his new Cufant. "This says Cufant's a boy, he knows Tackle, Growl, Rollout, Rock Smash, and Bulldoze. He has the Sheer Force ability, which increases the power of any of his moves that has the secondary effect, but loses their secondary effect." Butters spent time training his new Cufant and he learned Stomp and Iron Defense. Deciding that his Pokemon needed to be treated, he uses his Rotom Phone's map app to locate the nearest Pokemon Center and walks towards where it's located.
With Trent, he was training up his Pokemon for his upcoming gym battles. His Mankey learned Assurance and Thrash, his Basculin learned Soak, and Crunch; his Houndour learned Beat Up, and Fire Fang; his Axew learned Crunch, Dragon Dance, and Breaking Swipe; and his Orthworm just got a little stronger. Also during Houndour's training, he froze up and started glowing.
"My Houndour is evolving!" said Trent. He watches as Houndour begins to change. When she finished, she was bigger, her legs were longer, around her neck was a collar that had a facelike emblem on it, she had a long, devillike tail, and on her head were two long, curved horns. Trent takes out his Rotom Phone and points it at his newly evolved Houndour.
"Houndoom, the Dark Pokemon, and the evolved form of Houndour. If you are burned by the flames it shoots from its mouth, the pain will never go away." said Trent's Rotom Phone.
"Awesome! You look super dangerous!" said Trent, making Houndoom's tail wag. He then continues to explore the area.
With Stan and Leonard, they were training up their Pokemon also. Stan's Quaxwell learned Air Slash, and Focus Energy; his Litleo learned Endeavor, and Echoed Voice; his Maschiff learned Payback, and Crunch; his Skrelp learned Poison Tail, and Water Pulse; his Bramblin learned Hex, Mega Drain, and Disable; and his Sandygast learned Bulldoze, and Hypnosis. Also, during Maschiff's training, she evolves into Mabosstiff.
"Awesome! You're a Mabosstiff now!" said Stan.
"Congratulations, little minnow." said Leonard.
"Thank you, sir." said Stan. Leonard's Qwilfish learned Brine, and Poison Jab. As the two explore the area some more, they come across a Tera Den.
"What Pokemon do you think lurks in there?" asked Leonard.
"Let's find out." said Stan. He and Leonard enter the Tera Den and enter the cavern. They look towards the center of it and see a fishlike Pokemon whose body was navy blue on the top half, sky blue on the bottom half, with both halves divided by a dark pink stripe; and its tail looked like a sky-blue butterfly wings with dark pink markings; and on its head was a snowflake-shaped crystal. Stan takes out his Rotom Phone and points it at the Pokemon.
"Finneon, the Wing Fish Pokemon. The line running down its side can store sunlight. It shines vividly at night." said Stan's Rotom Phone.
"Perhaps I should try catching this guppy." said Leonard.
"I'll help you, sir." said Stan. He throws his new Mabosstiff's pokeball, releasing her from it, while Leonard releases his Qwilfish.
"Okay, Qwilfish! Use Poison Jab!" said Leonard. Qwilfish bounces towards the Finneon and jabs his spikes into it. The Finneon suddenly starts to look ill.
"Looks like Poison Jab poisoned it." said Stan. "Okay, Mabosstiff! Use Crunch!" Mabosstiff runs at the Finneon and bites down on it. The Finneon's body suddenly looks limp due to Crunch's defense-lowering effect, and it loses stamina from the poison. The Finneon releases a multicolored beam of energy and it hits Mabosstiff.
"Oh yeah?!" replied Stan. "Mabosstiff, use Heabutt!" Mabosstiff runs at the Finneon and rams her head into its face, sending it flying to the ground, and shattering its Tera Form. Leonard takes out a pokeball and throws it at the Finneon, hitting it, and sucking it in. The pokeball wiggles a few times before clicking, indicating a successful capture.
"Hook, line, and sinker!" said Leonard as he picks up his new Finneon's pokeball. The two leave the Tera Den and pick up the berries and two bags of Stardust that it left behind. Stan looks at his Rotom Phone to see Leonard's Finneon's information.
"This says your Finneon is a girl, she knows Pound, Water Gun, Rain Dance, Gust, Confuse Ray, and Aurora Beam. She has the Swift Swim ability which makes her faster when it's raining while she's out in battle." said Stan.
"Thanks, Stan." said Leonard.
"You're welcome." said Stan. "Lincoln must be glad to have a grandfather like you."
"Do you have a grandfather?" asked Leonard.
"He's back in America." said Stan. "I haven't seen him for a while."
"That must be sad." said Leonard with pity in his voice.
"Yeah, except for this one annoying habit of his." said Stan.
"It can't be that bad." said Leonard.
"He keeps asking people to kill him." said Stan, shocking Leonard.
"What?!" replied Leonard.
"Yeah." said Stan. "He doesn't like being as old as he is now. He even keeps asking ME to kill him."
"That's not a good way to live life." said Leonard. "You should always make good use of the time you have in the world instead of wanting it to end."
"Try telling him that." said Stan.
"If I ever meet him, I will." said Leonard.
"I hope so, sir." said Stan. After a minute of uncomfortable silence, Stan looks at his Rotom Phone's map to find the location of the nearest Pokemon Center, and the two start to walk to it.
Kyle was training his Pokemon alongside Luna and Sam and they got stronger, and his Donphan learned Stomping Tantrum.
Luna and Sam were training their Toxels and they were getting stronger. Sometime later, their Toxels suddenly started glowing.
"Dude, our Toxels are evolving!" said Luna. She, Sam, and Kyle watched as both Toxels began to grow. When the glowing stopped, the Toxels were now taller, and lizard-like. Luna's Toxel was in a slouched position, he had a yellow underbelly, yellow stripes on his legs, and a yellow frill made of electricity going up from his snout to his neck. Sam's Toxel was almost like Luna's except hers was in an upright position and she had a light blue underbelly, leg stripes, and electric frill instead of yellow.
"Hey, little dude; what are our Toxels now?" Sam asked Kyle. He takes out his Rotom Phone and points it at Luna's Toxel.
"Toxtricity Amped Form, the Punk Pokemon, and the evolved form of Toxel. As it scatters toxic sweat and emits electricity, a melody that sounds like it came from a guitar reverberates through the surrounding area." said Kyle's Rotom Phone.
"I wonder why Sam's Toxtricity looks different." said Kyle. He points his Rotom Phone at Sam's Toxtricity.
"Toxtricity, Low Key Form, the Punk Pokemon, and the evolved form of Toxel. Many youths admire the way this Pokémon listlessly picks fights and keeps its cool no matter what opponent it faces." said Kyle's Rotom Phone.
"Rockin!" Luna and Sam said in unison. Kyle looks at his Rotom Phone to look up Luna and Sam's Toxtricitities information.
"Okay, this says by evolving, both your Toxtricities learned Spark. They also now know Charge, Shock Wave, Scary Face, Taunt, Screech, and Swagger." said Kyle.
"I like the name of that last move." said Luna.
"Reminds you of Mick Swagger?" asked Sam.
"Exactly, dude." said Luna.
"Anyway, Luna, your Toxtricity now has the Plus ability, which powers up his special attack strength when he's fighting alongside a Pokemon with the Plus or Minus ability. Sam, your Toxtricity now has the Minus ability which also powers up her special attack strength when she's fighting alongside a Pokemon with the Plus or Minus ability." said Kyle. Luna and Sam look at each other.
"Sounds like our Toxtricities can work really well together." said Luna.
"Just like how we sing well alongside each other in our band." said Sam. They look into each other's eyes and smile. Both Toxtricities were looking at them, then they look at each other for a few seconds, before they turned away, blushing. Luna and Sam leaned towards each other, their lips about to touch when they were interrupted when they heard something. They look to see a black, rock-like Pokemon with an orange eye and a wheel-like rock below it rolling by.
"What's that Pokemon, Kyle?" asked Luna. Kyle points his Rotom Phone at the Pokemon.
"Rolycoly, the Coal Pokemon. On sunny days, Rolycoly will come out onto grassy plains and roll around. Then it will eat the grass that gets tangled in its wheel-like leg." said Kyle's Phone.
"A Pokemon that looks like a ROCK, and ROLLS. Ugh, I must've hanged around Luan too long." said Luna. "Anyway, I want this Pokemon. Care to help me out, little dude?"
"Sure." said Kyle. He turned towards Floragato. "Ready, Floragato?" Floragato nods in response. "Okay, use Seed Bomb!" A green light forms on Floragato's hand and becomes a seed. He then throws it at Rolycoly, hitting it and dealing super effective damage, knocking it to the ground. It struggles to get up. "I think you can catch it now, dude."
"Thanks, little dude." said Luna. She pulls out an empty pokeball and throws it at Rolycoly, hitting it and sucking it in. After it wiggled around a few times, it clicks, indicating a successful capture. "Rock on! Rolycoly is mine!"
"Congrats, Lunes." said Sam. Kyle looks up Rolycoly's information.
"Luna, your Rolycoly's a dude, he knows Tackle, Smokescreen, Rapid Spin, Smack Down, and Rock Polish." said Kyle. "He has the Steam Engine ability, which greatly increases his speed when he's hit with a fire or water move."
"Rad." said Luna. Sam then notices a Tera Den nearby.
"Hey, let's check that out." said Sam. Kyle and the girls enter the den. They came across a crystallized purple Pokemon with light blue tentacles with purple spikes on them on its head with a crystal water fountain on top. "That Pokemon looks like it's sporting a rockin' hairstyle. What's this Pokemon, little dude?" Kyle takes out his Rotom Phone and points it at the Pokemon.
Mareanie, the Brutal Star Pokemon. This Pokémon wanders the seaside looking for food. It often gets electric shocks from broken Pincurchin spines that it tries to eat." said the Rotom Phone.
"You mind helping me catch this one, Kyle?" asked Sam.
"Sure, dude." said Kyle. He looks at the Mareanie. "Judging by that fountain, this Mareanie's tera form is a water type, so my Floragato and your Toxtricities should have an advantage." Kyle throws Floragato's pokeball and releases him while Luna and Sam throw their Toxtricities pokeballs and releases them. Energy begins surging through both Toxtricities and their special attack strength increases. "Looks like their Plus and Minus abilities activated."
"Awesome!" Luna and Sam say in unison.
"Floragato, Seed Bomb!" said Kyle. Floragato forms a glowing green seed in his hand, and he throws it at Mareanie, dealing super effective damage.
"Toxtricity, use Shock Wave!" Luan and Sam say in unison. Luna's Toxtricity fires a yellow beam of electricity from his hand while Sam fires a light blue beam of electricity from her hand, and they deal a massive amount of damage due to their Plus and Minus abilities powering up their special attack strength. Mareanie's tear form and crystal fountain shatters and it goes limp.
"Catch it, Sam!" said Kyle. Sam pulls out an empty pokeball and throws it at Mareanie, hitting it and sucking it in. It wiggles around and clicks, indicating Mareanie's capture.
"Awesome! I caught a Mareanie!" said Sam, picking up Mareanie's pokeball.
"Great work, Sam." said Kyle. The group then leaves the den, and it vanishes, leaving behind berries and two Big Pearls. Kyle picks them up and puts them in his backpack, intending to give one of the Big Pearls to Trent. He then uses his Rotom Phone to learn more about Sam's new Mareanie. "Okay. Your Mareanie is part water, part poison, it's a dude, he knows Poison Sting, Peck, Wide Guard, Bite, Venoshock, Recover, Pin Missile, Toxic Spikes, Liquidation, Toxic, and Poison Jab. He has the Merciless ability which has him do critical damage on any Pokemon that's poisoned."
"Radical." said Sam.
"Let's go to a Pokemon Center and get our Pokemon looked at." said Luna.
"Sure, dude." said Kyle. They returned their Pokemon to their pokeballs and Kyle uses his Rotom Phone to locate the nearest Pokemon Center. Once he found one, they walk towards it with Luna and Sam holding hands.
Meanwhile with Lucy and Kenny, they were exploring some ruins in the area while training their Pokemon. Kenny's Clodsire learned Yawn, and Poison Jab; his Corvisquire learned Taunt, and Scary Face; his Lokix learned Feint, his Scovillain learned Heabutt, Zen Headbutt, and Fire Fang, and his Cloyster got a bit stronger. He didn't feel any sort of bond with the Hoppip he had with him, so he sent her to storage.
Lucy trained up her Pokemon as well. Her Gastly learned Hex, and Night Shade; and her Greavard learned Rest, and Crunch. As Lucy trained her Gastly, he froze up and started to glow.
"Wicked." said Lucy as she and Kenny watch Gastly begin to change. When he finished, his body was purple, his head was bigger and had three spikes coming out each side of his head, and a pair of disembodied hands.
"Cool!" said Kenny as he pulls out his Rotom Phone and points it at Lucy's newly evolved Gastly.
"Haunter, the Gas Pokemon, and the evolved form of Gastly. It likes to lurk in the dark and tap shoulders with a gaseous hand. Its touch causes endless shuddering." said Kenny's Rotom Phone.
"This also says that your Haunter just learned Shadow Punch." said Kenny. Lucy nods in response. They look around and soon see a purple humanoid Pokemon that looked like a smaller Haunter, but with a complete body with a red jewel on its torso and looking like it has jewels for eyes. Kenny points his Rotom Phone at the Pokemon.
"Sableye, the Darkness dwells in the darkness of caves. It uses its sharp claws to dig up gems to nourish itself." said the Rotom Phone.
"I think Lincoln caught one this morning." said Lucy. "He said it was part ghost, and part darkness. I want to catch this one."
"I'll back you up." said Kenny as he throws his Lokix's pokeball and releases him from it, while Lucy lets out her new Haunter.
"Haunter, use Shadow Punch." said Lucy. Dark energy surrounds one of Haunter's hands and he makes a fist. He launches it at the Sableye, knocking it back.
"Lokix, use Bug Bite!" said Kenny. Lokix leaps at the Sableye and bites down on it. The Lokix responds by releasing a stream of dark energy from its eyes, hitting Lokix, but not doing much damage to him.
"Haunter, use Hex." said Lucy. Haunter summons a ball of dark energy that had a red eye at the core of it, and launches it at Sableye, hitting it, and knocking it onto its back.
"Lucy! Catch it now!" said Kenny. Lucy takes an empty pokeball out of her backpack and throws it at the Sableye, hitting it, and sucking it in. The pokeball wiggles a few times before clicking, indicating a successful capture.
"I caught Sableye." said Lucy with a small hint of excitement in her voice. Kenny looks up Lucy's new Sableye on his Rotom Phone.
"This says your Sableye's a girl, she knows Scratch, Leer, Astonish, Shadow Sneak, Fake Out, Disable, Detect, and Night Shade. She has the Keen Eye ability which makes it so her accuracy can't be lowered." said Kenny. After that, they all continue to look around.
At another part of the area, Cartman, Lori, and Bobby were riding around in the Starmobile to find a good spot to train their Pokemon. Once they do, they hop out and start training. Cartman's Crocalor soon learned Roar, his Gyarados learned Waterfall, Crunch, and Rain Dance, his Larvitar learned Crunch, and his Pikachu learned Iron Tail.
Lori and Bobby's Luvdiscs both learned Draining Kiss and Flail. Lori's Skiploom learned Leech Seed, Mega Drain, and Acrobatics while Bobby's Squawkabilly learned Taunt, Uproar, and Copycat. During the training, Larvitar began to glow.
"Hey, my Larvitar's evolving!" said Cartman. Lori and Bobby gathered around and watched Larvitar. When he stopped glowing, Larvitar was encased in a grayish-blue shell that had two holes in it, revealing a pair of eyes. "Wow!" He takes out his Rotom Phone and points it at the newly-evolved Larvitar.
"Pupitar, the Hard Shell Pokemon, and the evolved form of Larvitar. This pupa flies around wildly by venting with great force the gas pressurized inside its body." said the Rotom Phone.
"Wow, this kicks ass!" said Cartman, shocking Lori and Bobby after hearing Cartman swear. "According to this, when he evolved, he learned Iron Defense, and he now has the Shed Skin ability, which cures him of any status condition he has."
"I literally wished he stopped swearing." said Lori.
"Hey, what's this Pokemon?" asked Bobby. Cartman and Lori turned to see Bobby looking at an orange, puppy-like Pokemn with black stripes, and a beige underbelly, and tail. Cartman points his Rotom Phone at the Pokemon.
"Growlithe, the Puppy Pokemon. It has a brave and trustworthy nature. It fearlessly stands up to bigger and stronger foes." said Cartman's Rotom Phone. Bobby turned towards Cartman.
"Hey, kid. You mind helping me catch this Pokemon?" asked Bobby.
"Fine." said Cartman. "Let's go, Pupitar!" Pupitar hops in front of Cartman. "Okay, Pupitar, use Stomping Tantrum!" Pupitar hops up and down, releasing shockwaves that hit Growlithe, dealing super effective damage. Growlithe lands on the ground and tries to get up. "Okay, I think you can catch it now." Bobby takes out his last pokeball and throws it at Growlithe. It hits Growlithe and sucks it in. After the pokeball wiggled around a few times, it clicks, indicating Growlithe's capture. Bobby runs to Growlithe's pokeball and picks it up.
"Yes! I caught a Growlithe!" cheered Bobby.
"I'm literally proud to you, Boo-Boo Bear." said Lori. Cartman pinches the bridge of his nose, then takes out his Rotom Phone to learn about Bobby's new Growlithe.
"Okay, this says your Growlithe's a fire type, it's a boy, he knows Leer, Ember, Howl, Bite, Flame Wheel, and Helping Hand." said Cartman. "He has the Flash Fire ability, which makes it that any fire attack that hits him causes no damage but increases the power of his fire attacks instead."
"That is so cool." said Bobby. He then releases his Growlithe to train him. As he looks at Growlithe, he sees something sticking out of the ground several feet from him. He reaches down and grabs it. He pulls it out, revealing it to be a yellow stone with an image of fire in it.
"Hey. Isn't that a Fire Stone, like the one that Kenny kid bought?" asked Lori.
"I think so." said Bobby. He puts the Fire Stone in his backpack and works on training Growlithe. After some training, Growlithe learned Agility and Fire Fang. Soon they decided to bring their Pokemon to the Pokemon Center. After Cartman uses his Rotom Phone to find the nearest one, they hop into the Starmobile and start driving to it.
