Meeting Shizue

It was a really long walk to the town well at least it was as far as Yukiya was concerned.

As Yukiya was thinking about that Tanjiro was wondering about Yukiya's past he didn't ever ask about it out of respect but he was still wondering about it they walked into the town and started talking to the people.

Yukiya asked a question to one man. "hey sir have you seen or heard of any demons around?"

The man looked at him and started to laugh "You really think that demons are real! Who is teaching kids these days!"

It seemed like no one in town had any info about the demon there or believed that demons are real.

Soon the day was coming to an end and they needed a place to stay for the night.

Of course, only one of them can rest because at least one of them has to look for and kill the demon.

They start to look for a place to stay at. It took a while but they heard about a man who let people into his house for a night for some money so they go to the house and knock on the door.

A man open the door "Hello I would have to assume that you two need a place for a night?"

Yukiya then speaks up "Yes We have some business in town."

The man then says "Well it will cost you around-'' but before he can say the rest of the sentence a different and rather quiet feminine voice pops up "Un uncle?"

The man turned around and started to talk to the new person and in a somewhat annoyed tone says "What is it Shizue?"

The other people with a must lower and quieter voice starts to speak again "I don't think we should change them any money. I heard that two people are looking for a demon and I think they are the two who are looking."

The man with a much more annoyed tone then says "Really you believe that there is a demon here too you sound like that one guy who keeps telling everyone about his future wife who was taken by a demon."

That put both Yukiya's and Tanjiro's minds on alert with Tanjiro speaking up "This man you speak up when is he? I need to talk to him."

The man turned around and started to speak." Well the last I saw him I think he was a little bit that way."

Tanjiro then turned to Yukiya and says "Okay I'm going to meet with him I let you get some rest okay?"

Yukiya nod in agreement and Tanjiro leaves.

The now less annoyed man then says "Well I guess I can let one person inside for free but only for one night and you won't be having any free food."

Yukiya nodded and the man let Yukiya into his house Yukiya looked around and was rather surprised.

The house was actually somewhat fancy.

It would probably not be called fancy in a more wealthy town but still.

He was taken to a somewhat small room with one bed and he get on the bed and he immediately went to sleep. But at some point during his sleep...

" I don't think I really want to-" "This again how many times do I need to remind you of what going to have if you don't do what I want!" then the sounds of rocks moving is heard "No I'm sorry okay just not that again-"

Then Yukiya wakes up "Why do these memories keep popping up."

The door then opens and he sees a girl around his age who seems rather nervous. then she starts to speak in a quiet and nervous tone

"Are you okay sir?" Yukiya then recognizes the voice

"You the girl who got me in here for free now I think about it why did you do that?"

He asks the girl who gets a little bit more nervous and then answers.

"I saw that you two were demon hunters and I know that there is a demon in the town so I hope that if we didn't change you any money you would get rid of the demon-" "Well you didn't need to give me a free room for a night we would still kill the demon anyway but thank you anyway."

Yukiya replied and the nervous girl begins to become less nervous and even smile a little as she starts asking a question.

"So what is your name?" " it's Yukiya," Yukiya replied and asked a question of his own,

"Well, now I said my name can I ask for your name?" " it's Shizue," Shizue replied and then she asked another question,

"If I may ask, did you have a bad dream?"

That question is one Yukiya does not want to answer and Shizue can see that.

"I'm sorry if it's too-" "No I will answer your question well I didn't wanna like what my parents were trying to me become and I try to be something better but they didn't like that I wanted to do something else from they ideas and try to make me live like them by somehow making a demon to teach me to listen to my elders as they call it and yea it wasn't exactly pretty what that demon did to me I still not sure exactly how they made the demon did the stuff he did but I think it had something to do with a incident that happened in my hometown where a whole family was just gone but maybe that had nothing to do how they made he did that the reason doesn't matter anymore I left that town and life a long time ago."

When Yukiya finished his story he sees that Shizue is horrified.

"I am so sorry you have to live that way." Yukiya was actually shocked about her reaction he didn't expect her to show as much concern as she did because when he usually tell his past to others they would just leave not really caring all that much.

If he tell his past toTanjiro would have the same reaction as Shizue or would it be like the usual reaction?

Yukiya then asks a question. "Un by the way the man you work for is your uncle right?" "Well yes, my parents died when I was 6 years old and I was taken in by him but I don't think he actually cares about me all he really does for me is get me food and that's about it"

Yukiya then starts to get concerned for Shizue but before he can say anything she started to speak.

"That's why I need to leave with you and learn how to kill demons!"

Yukiya was really shocked by that statement and ask a question.

"Are you really sure I mean demon Hunting is very dangerous and-" " I know that but I don't want to live with an uncle who doesn't care about me so please just let me join you!"

That left Yukiya more than shocked and then he says "Okay well I can't officially get you in the demon slayer corps but I can at least teach you and let travel with us."

This lead to Shizue hugging Yukiya and itself leads to Yukiya blushing quite a bit.

"Thank you so much!" "Okay, let's just find Tanjiro and then I can start to teach you"

So the two then leave the house.

Yukiya's age as of this chapter is 15.

Shizue age as of this chapter is 15.
