I do not own Harry Potter, or Assassins Creed. Though I do love both of those things.

Hello guys, Badger here. Back again, with a new crossover. This crossover story idea came to me, whilst working on other crossovers I have planned and, seeing as it's proving difficult to get the first chapters, for those stories right, I decided to write the first chapter for this story.

Now, I am thinking of actually turning this into a trilogy series, which I will talk about more, at the end, for now, read on and enjoy and I will see you there.

Chapter 1

The Creed Inside Hogwarts Walls

Hogwarts, September 1st, 1991

The sun began to set, casting Hogwarts Castle in a golden hue, as the stars, slowly, but surely began to appear one by one in the sky.

Hogwarts School, of Witchcraft and Wizardry stood alone on a mountain, the towers stabbing into the sky, like daggers that had been planted inside the ground, hilt first, the blades glistening in the light. The rest of the castle was illuminated against the darkening sky, by the light pouring through the windows that were scattered across the stone walls.

Albus Dumbledore, Headmaster of Hogwarts, was alone in his office, looking through the register for the new First Year students, whilst his phoenix, Fawkes, let out gentle trills of a soothing song, whilst he preened himself, sat on his perch. Dumbledore knew the students will be arriving soon. Which also meant he was also arriving. Harry Potter. Dumbledore hadn't told anyone, but the boy had gone missing ten years ago. After the deaths of James and Lily Potter, Dumbledore had Harry taken to his relatives, the Dursleys. As things were still quite chaotic in the Wizarding World, Dumbledore believed the boy would be much safer in the Muggle World, where no one would be able to find him. Especially the Death Eaters. His Deputy Head, and Transfiguration Professor, Minerva McGonagall was against Harry being left at the Dursleys, but Dumbledore brushed off those concerns. Petunia Dursley may have been jealous of Lily and hated her, as Lily had magic, whilst she didn't, but Dumbledore believed Petunia would put aside her hatred and raise Harry right.

However, after a year, when Dumbledore went to the Dursleys, to check up on Harry, he found that the boy was nowhere in sight. Concerned, Dumbledore looked through their minds, to find that they never took Harry in. His concern turned into fear, when he saw that Harry wasn't on their doorstep, where Dumbledore had left him. Over the next nine years, he tried all kinds of tracking methods to find where Harry could be, each one of them failing, whilst lying to McGonagall about Harry's whereabouts and wellbeing. All Dumbledore could do was hope Harry arrived at Hogwarts. The boys name being on the register was a good sign. It was only a question of whether he would actually arrive.

Putting down the register, Dumbledore stood up from his desk, where something caught his attention. Something outside his window. Looking closer, Dumbledore saw that there was a Bald Eagle outside his window. Dumbledore was surprised and confused at the sight. Bald Eagles were native to America. It made the elderly Headmaster wonder why it would be here, in Britain. What was even more confusing, was that the Bald Eagle seemed to be looking through his window, seemingly watching him.

After a few seconds, the Bald Eagle flew off, where Dumbledore watched it fly away, disappearing from view.

The Bald Eagle continued to fly, over forests, rivers and fields. As the moon was beginning to rise, The Bald Eagle heard someone, or something calling to it. It flew down, diving to the nearby trees, where it saw three figures dressed in white waiting for it. One of the figures held out their arm, allowing the Bald Eagle to land on it, where it preened itself for a moment, before rubbing its head against them affectionately.

"What did you find boy?" The figure said

The Bald Eagle bowed its head up and down repeatedly, as it let out a few high pitch whistles, in response.

"Anything to worry about?" One of the other figures asked

"No, the place seems to be safe" The first figure said

The figure lifted their arm in the air, allowing the Bald Eagle to fly back up into the air, where the three watched it disappear in to the darkening sky.

"Let's keep going" The figure said "If we want to make it to the castle in time, we're going to need to pick up the pace"

Dumbledore sat watching, as the new First Year students looked around the Great Hall in awe, as they were lead to front of the Professors Table, stopping at a lone stool in the centre of the podium, where a dusty looking hat sat, as if waiting. He scanned the new students, hoping to catch a possible glimpse of Harry Potter, whilst Professor McGonagall picked up the hat in one hand, whilst she held her other hand out, open palmed, where a scroll appeared in a soft golden glow, surprising the First Years for a moment.

"Now, one by one, I will call each and every one of you from the register" She said "You will sit down on the stool…I will place the Sorting Hat on your head…and you will be sorted into your Houses, we'll be starting with…Hannah Abbot!"

Over the next several minutes, students were called up, one by one, where they were sorted into their Houses, each House getting their share of students. As the Sorting went on, Dumbledore tried to see if he could spot Harry in the group, that was slowly dwindling. However, he still couldn't spot the boy. After a while, McGonagall called out his name.

"Harry Potter" Her voice rang

Gasps and whispers made its way around the Great Hall, as the students talked to one another, in hushed tones, trying to see the famous Boy-Who-Lived. Dumbledore had actually leant forward in his seat. However, after several seconds, Harry hadn't stepped forward, making the whispers increase in volume, as people wondered why he hadn't stepped to the stool yet. McGonagall looked concerned, as her gaze went through the First Years that still needed to be sorted. No matter how many times her eyes looked through the group, she couldn't see the boy.

"Harry Potter!" She called out again

Once more, several seconds had passed and no one stepped forward. McGonagall looked to Dumbledore, who shared the same concerns as her. Noticing the look his Deputy Head was giving him, he gave her a nod, informing her to continue the sorting. Which she did. Now though, the students attention wasn't on the sorting anymore, they were more concerned as to where Harry Potter was.

Dumbledore was panicking slightly, as he rubbed his beard, in deep thought. All his thoughts were on where Harry could possibly be. The boy had to still be alive, somewhere. His name appeared in the schools register. Someone had to have taken him, if he had disappeared from the Dursleys doorstep before his relatives found him. It was only a question as to who, and where they would take him. As soon as the Welcoming Feast was over, Dumbledore was going to immediatley start looking for the boy, before word got out to the rest of the Wizarding World, that he had seemingly disappeared.

The boy was vital, for the defeat of Voldemort, when the Dark Lord inevitably returned. The Horcrux in Harry's scar meant that if Voldemort was to be defeated for good, then Harry would need to die. But Dumbledore wasn't going to allow that. Even if it was for the Greater Good, he wouldn't allow Harry to die. There had to be another way to remove the Horcrux from Harry's scar and, Dumbledore was going to do everything in his power to do so. First, he just needed to find the boy. The sound of McGonagall clearing her throat made Dumbledore snap out of his thoughts. He looked up to see that the students had all been sorted and that they were waiting for him to make the welcoming speech, before they could start the feast. Dumbledore stood up and was about to speak, when everyone heard footsteps coming from outside the Great Hall, getting closer and closer. Dumbledore, and the rest of the Hogwarts Staff, kept a cautious hand ready to draw their wands, as Hogwarts wasn't expecting any visitors.

The doors opened, where three figures entered the Great Hall. All three of them, were wearing white robes, with hoods covering their identity. The first two were adult males, their white robes were pristine and made by the highest quality cloth one could by. Both of them had a brown sash belt around their waist, which housed an unfamiliar symbol. Both of them had brown arm bracers, dark boots and red seams on their robes, however the male on the right had a shoulder cloak on his right shoulder whereas the male on the left didn't.

The third figure was smaller then the other two and presumably seemed to be a child, seemingly the same age as Hogwarts' First or Second Years. They were male and wore similar robes to the figures on either side of them, however the seams on their robes were a deep blue, instead of red. The three stopped in front of the podium, each one of them holding their hands up slightly, showing they meant no harm.

"Who are you gentleman?" Dumbledore asked "And what brings you to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry?"

The two adult males lifted their hoods, letting them fall to their shoulders, revealing their identities. The male on the right, was an older gentleman, with wrinkling skin and dark hair that was slowly turning silver, his jawline marred by hints of stubble. He had a gentle look in his blue eyes, though Dumbledore could see the danger behind the softness. The male on the left was a much younger man, seemingly in his mid-twenties. His face was thin, with hazel eyes, that made no attempt to hide the danger, as they narrowed slightly, flicking around the room, no doubt noting any possible escape routes. The young man's hair was a vivid purple and went down to his shoulders in thick, smooth waves.

"Forgive us for barging in like this, we hoped to arrive on time, but we got held up by some…unpleasant creatures…I am Toma Atsu" The older gentleman said, before gesturing to the younger male "And this is my Brother, James Badger…It recently came to our attention that one of our…students…is to study at this school of yours"

"And who is this student in question?" Dumbledore asked

The Headmaster watched, as the young boy, who had remained quiet as he stood between the two gentleman, looked up to Toma. Even though the hood was covering the boys identity, Dumbledore could tell the boy was seemingly asking for permission for something. Toma looked down at the boy and nodded, a small smile on his face. After given the nod of approval, the boy lifted up his hood, allowing it to fall to his shoulders, where Dumbledore and the other teachers gasped, as well as the students that had a clear view of the boy's face.

It was Harry Potter.

And that is the first chapter done, what do you guys think?

When writing this chapter, I originally had Dumbledore being the manipulative version of Dumbledore who does everything for the Greater Good, however, I'm already doing that for other stories, so I'm doing something different with this Dumbledore, which you may have already seen in this chapter and will continue to see in future updates.

Now, when it came to this story, I thought about turning this into a trilogy of stories instead of making it one. This first instalment will go from now, until this stories equivalent of Goblet of Fire, ending with Voldemort's return. The second instalment will continue from there, ending with Voldemort's demise. And, as for the third instalment? Well, you can't have Assassins Creed, without the Templars. They will be in the first two instalments, how much of a threat they will be is unclear, but they will be the main villains of the third instalment. Because of this story plan, I felt like a trilogy will be better. What do you think of this?

I hope you guys enjoyed and I hope to see you next time
