Kouign-amann cookie sighed. Lightning crackled & thunder boomed as rain poured outside & smacked against her window. The entire day had been a wet monsoon, though it was hard to tell if it even was day anymore because it was so dark outside from the clouds.

Kouign-amann cookie shivered. The rain made her room surprisingly chilly for being in the middle of spring. The storm outside was disappointing because she was supposed to have an honorable training session with Ser Financier cookie and Ser Madeleine cookie, and her father was supposed to be able to see her growth in swordsmanship. She got up off the end of her bed, brushed off her frilly pink ball gown, adjusted her headpiece, and made her way down the spiraling, pearl white stairs and headed to the kitchen to ask her cook what was for dinner, as she was growing hungry.

Marzipan cookie swung his sword at the practice dummy and sighed. He had already finished his work as the preceptor of the creme knights, now he could carry on his day like normal. It was a cold afternoon despite it being april, but he guessed that was to be expected due to the rainy season being upon them.

The depressing setting outside perfectly depicted his mood; royally disappointed. Why? Because he was supposed to get to witness his beloved daughter show her strength and skills to two honorable former students of his that now served in the republic, but due to the rain it was put off to a later date.

Though as thunder crackled outside he grew more and more worried for his dear friend, who also just so happened to be the headmaster of a rivaling school, Habanero magma cookie. Mainly because his close friend is a spicy cookie and therefore has an intolerance to rain, but also because Habanero magma cookie in particular has a certain.. disdain for thunder.

He swung his sword one more time before sheathing his sword and heading to his room to call his loudmouthed, rugged friend to make sure he was okay.
