Ok, so this is the first fanfiction that I've ever written and I must admit, this idea is not originally mine. I read a fanfiction on this site called RWBY: Sparks Among the Stars by a user called Lorithomar, but they haven't updated their story since last September, and I noticed that there are not a lot of fanfiction crossovers between these two, so I decided I wanted to make my own story do my own twist on it, have it where the four main girls meet a planeswalker who has been stranded on Remnant, having adventures with the girls on Remnant, and then turn that on its head with the four girls as well as Team JNPR, Ozpin, Qrow, Taiyang, and Cinder being thrown into the multiverse during the Fall of Beacon, and have the groups explore the multiverse searching for items and allies to help them defeat Salem and stop Cinder and her machinations. So go read Lorithomar's story if you want to see what I based this off of, so far the story is really good and it looks like it's building to a big climax for a few characters. Of course my story will not be a complete carbon copy of theirs, I plan on changing parts of the story and writing my own content for this so I can make it my own, but I will draw upon their work a bit and I will mention when I do.
Needless to say, I do not own either RWBY or Magic the Gathering, they are owned by Rooster Teeth and Wizards of the Coast respectively, and the Mahou universe is owned by Akuoreo and MSFHighWraith (Please check out their work on Deviantart and consider becoming a patron to them). Hope you enjoy it!
RWBY: Shattered Sky
Foreword:
The Worlds Beyond Our Own
When you look up into space, what do you think, do you think "Are we alone?", "Is there life out there?" Well, if you believe that there is other life in the stars, you may just be right, but you might be asking the wrong questions, for there is much more life even beyond the confines of our universe and all the stars that it holds. I present to you, The Multiverse, and the Planes therein, the Planes of the Multiverse are entire worlds contained within the multiverse, with their own inhabitants, peoples, flora, fauna, religions and customs.
These worlds are separated from one another by an empty space known as the Blind Eternities, unpassible to most life in the multiverse, any being that would dare to steal a glance into this void is likely to be turned irrevocably insane from the sheer emptiness and by the cosmic horrors that may dwell within, and those who would have the arrogance to try to enter it without sufficient protection would be immediately torn into shreds and scattered to the endless darkness, but there are a chosen few who are capable of navigating this treacherous void unscathed and with their sanity intact. Those who are capable of breaking the chains that bind them to their plane and traveling through this space are often regarded as legends, fairy tales for children, but even fables have some truth to them.
These people are known as the Planeswalkers, and they are all too real, Planeswalkers are created when a holder of what is know to us as a Spark experience a moment of great emotional duress or intense pain, this emotional response activates their Spark and immediately transports the newly Sparked Planeswalker to somewhere they have never been, usually saving them from a life or death scenario, where under less fortunate circumstances they would be dead.
My name is Stone Sherman, and I am a Planeswalker. I hail from a Plane known as Mahou, my travels have taken me to many Planes across the multiverse in search of artifacts and treasures lost to time, I have been to Ravnica, Zendikar, Tarkir, Innistrad, and many many more, too many to name in a single day in fact. But the story I am about to tell you is not about any of those Planes or any I have ever been to before, but about a Plane that has gone unseen and unheard for millenia, a Plane known as Remnant, a Place of heroes and villains, of men and monsters, of Gods and Witches. My arrival to this Plane was completely accidental, I was attempting to Planeswalk to Tarkir after I had acquired an artifact from the Plane of Dominaria that dated back to the Brothers War, so I may get some answers about it from the Spirit Dragon Planeswalker, Ugin. While I was traveling through the Blind Eternities, I suddenly stopped sensing Tarkir, and before I had a chance to realize what the reason was, I slammed into a something, it felt like running headfirst into a brick wall, but before I lost consciousness I heard a sound similar to glass breaking, and felt rushing wind. All I knew is that I was falling, but where and how, I knew not. Herein lies the start of our story, with four young women, and a fallen Dragon, from a world beyond theirs.
