Outside, a lone figure had made his way toward the gate of Terminus. Sesshomaru was on a mission. He knew that Kagome wasn't there but that her mate was, and it was vital that he free her mate and then free Kagome. He didn't need the human's help finding the Miko; Sesshomaru already knew where she was, but Sesshomaru knew that Kagome would do anything to get her mate back, so Sesshomaru might as well do it himself.

Sesshomaru withdrew Tetsusaiga from its sheath and quickly destroyed everything in his path, causing the propane tank to explode. The explosion caught the attention of a herd of Walkers nearby, and they began to make their way toward Terminus. The Walkers shuffled their way past Sesshomaru without paying him any attention. As a Daiyoukai, his demonic aura protected him from these low-level demons that So'unga had released on the world when he escaped from hell.

As Sesshomaru calmly made his way through the compound, he noticed that one Walker was not acting like the others. Sesshomaru paused for a moment, then called out, "You, human, why are you here?"

Carol, who had taken the opportunity to blend in with the Walkers, paused; she turned slowly to face the Daiyoukai that stood there staring at her. She stared at Sesshomaru for a moment, then her eyes suddenly widened. Carol recognized the figure standing behind her; she had seen his face in the pictures that Kagome had shown them of the Feudal Era. Carol realized that this humanoid was none other than the Great Lord Sesshomaru. Carol slowly made her way toward him; when she was close enough, Sesshomaru could pick up Kagome's scent on her, and he realized that this human was part of Kagome's pack.

Sesshomaru flared his aura, making the Walkers flee his presence. When Carol finally reached him, she bowed to the mighty Daiyoukai. Sesshomaru raised an elegant eyebrow, "You know who this Sesshomaru is?"

"Yes, My Lord, Kagome told us tales of you; she has spoken highly of you."

"Hn, then you shall assist this Sesshomaru in freeing the Miko's mate and pack. Come with this Sesshomaru. Find and gather their weapons and anything else you can carry."

Carol nodded and headed off in a different direction. Sesshomaru raised his head and sniffed the air; the stench of rotting corpses was heavy, and it offended him, but he could still pick up the scent of Kagome's mate and her pup. He calmly made his way through the compound, allowing the Walkers to take care of his enemies; those that dared challenge him were quickly dispatched with Bakusaiga.

While Sesshomaru made his way toward the boxcar where Kagome's pack was, Rick tried to see what was going on outside. It was pure chaos. People were running from the walkers that were now in Terminus. Part of the herd was heading in their direction when Rick saw a blinding green light. The Walkers outside the boxcar melted into nothing. Stunned, Rick watched as part of the herd, and several people were wiped out.

"What the hell was that?" Daryl questioned.

"I don't know, but whatever it was is coming this way," Rick told the others.

Rick and the other survivors took the opportunity to quickly finish their makeshift weapons, and try to get the boxcar open. Rick told the others that whatever that was, they needed to be ready to escape the boxcar. Just then, Rick saw a figure dressed in white arrive. The person was tall with long white hair with magenta stripes on his cheeks and a half-moon symbol on his forehead. Rick's eyes widened, and he gasped when the figure turned and looked at him.

"It can't be," Rick mumbled.

"What?" Daryl asked.

Rick was speechless, the only thing he could do was step out of the way so Daryl could look. Daryl peered outside and he drew back in surprise. Glenn had also looked, he and Daryl glanced at each other, "There's no way it's him," Glenn mumbled.

"Who?" Abraham asked as he looked at Rosita, confused.

At that moment, Daryl saw Lord Sesshomaru lift his clawed hand, and a green mist poured from Sesshomaru's hand, "GET AWAY FROM THE DOOR!" Daryl yelled.

Everyone ran to the side of the boxcar as the entire door melted into nothing. Abraham stood in front of Eugene to protect him. "Who the hell are you?" Abraham questioned.

"Take care on how you speak to This Sesshomaru in such an insolent manner, human. Or This One will be forced to remove your tongue."

Abraham bristled and was going to confront Sesshomaru, but Hershel stopped him, "Abraham, don't. If you value your life, you will be more respectful to him."

"Very wise, old one. Now, the Miko's mate and pup will follow this Sesshomaru. The others may do as they like."

Rick looked at the others and they nodded. The group knew that if Sesshomaru had made it this far without any trouble, the best thing to do would be to follow him. The group gathered their weapons and jumped down from the boxcar. Without a glance backward, Sesshomaru turned and strode toward the fence. The others quickly followed the Daiyoukai, picking off Walkers that made their way toward them.

When they got closer to the fence, Kirara transformed and jumped the fence, heading toward Carl and Hershel, "What the hell is that?" Rosita cried, gripping her weapon tighter.

"She's a friend," Carl said as he helped Hershel onto Kirara's back and then got on. Kirara then jumped into the air and headed for the woods, where she would wait for the others.

Kirara's main concern was Carl, but she knew that Hershel could get hurt so she took him also. Abraham watched as the trio disappeared into the sky, but quickly came out of his daze when he heard Eugene cry for help. Abraham quickly came to Eugene's aid and killed the Walkers that were in front of Eugene.

Once they got to the fence, Sesshomaru melted it with his poison claws and he calmly walked out while the others ran after him. Rick quickly took the lead and led the others further into the woods so he could collect the weapons he buried. Once they were armed, Rick led the way back to the fence to kill the people of Terminus that had survived thus far. The people were easily picked off as they ran toward the fence, trying to get away from the Walkers.

After killing or incapacitating the Termites leaving them for the Walkers, they followed Sesshomaru out of the woods. They walked in silence as the group followed the Daiyoukai. Abraham, Rosita, Eugene, and Tarra wanted to know who this being was, but they decided not to ask questions. Abruptly, Sesshomaru stopped and delicately sniffed the air. He changed course and the others followed. They knew that wherever Sesshomaru was leading them, they would be safe. When they reached a clearing, Daryl saw a figure standing there. He rushed forward and hugged Carol who was with Kirara, Carl, and Hershel. The others reacted and rushed toward Carol to hug her. Rick hugged Carol, and when they let go of each other, Carol started pulling Rick by the arm, "You need to come with me."

Confused, Rick looked at Sesshomaru as if asking for permission. Sesshomaru nodded and the group followed Carol away from Terminus. They arrived at a run-down cabin where Sophia and Tyrese were standing; Judith in Tyrese's arms. Rick and Carl rushed forward toward Judith and Tyrese. Father and son hugged and kissed Judith, who happily giggled at seeing her father and brother, though she did look around for Kagome, "Mama?" Judith questioned.

Rick and Carl looked at each other, "We'll find Mama, sweetheart, I promise," Rick told his baby daughter.

After greeting Sophia and Tyrese the group quickly caught up with Sesshomaru, who had walked away. Rick handed Judith to Carl and rushed to Sesshomaru's side, "Thank you, My Lord, for saving us."

Sesshomaru only glanced at the human next to him and nodded, "You are The Miko's mate. It would be inappropriate for This Sesshomaru not to rescue you."

"What do we do now?" Rick asked.

Sesshomaru glanced at Rick out of the corner of his eye, "We rescue Kagome," Sesshomaru informed Rick.

Rick suddenly stopped and stared at Sesshomaru, "You know where Kagome is?"

Sesshomaru scoffed, "Of course, This Sesshomaru knows where Kagome is, He knows everything."

Rick was going to ask Sesshomaru if he knew what was going on with their world. Why were the dead coming back to life? But Rick decided that for now, it wasn't important. His only concern was getting Kagome and Beth back. Besides, Eugene was going to fix everything when they got to Washington.

Rick was ready to rescue Kagome and Beth from wherever they were. He was about to ask Sesshomaru where they were, but he looked back and noticed that his group was tired and hungry. Rick looked at Sesshomaru and ask him if they could rest for a moment, but The Daiyoukai spoke first.

"Your mate is in a hospital in Atlanta. We will go there once your group has rested and eaten. Kagome is in no danger, Shippou is surveilling the situation."

Rick nodded. Suddenly something occurred to Rick, "Where is Inuyasha?"

"The fool disobeyed This Sesshomaru and got himself killed 100 years ago. That is why This Sesshomaru now possesses my father's sword."

Rick nodded again, he knew that once Kagome heard the news she would be devastated.

The group continued through the forest. There were lingering Walkers in the area, but Michonne dispatched them easily with her recovered sword. Sesshomaru raised an elegant eyebrow at the human warrior, "You are adequate with your sword," Sesshomaru told Michonne, offhandedly.

Michonne stared at Sesshomaru for a moment. At first, she thought he was insulting her, but then remembered that Sesshomaru was not fond of humans and that what he said was as close to a compliment as she was going to get. Michonne inclined her head towards Sesshomaru, "Thank you for the compliment, Lord Sesshomaru."

Sesshomaru continued to walk, looking straight ahead, "Perhaps This One can further your education," Sesshomaru said. He almost faltered in his steps when he realized what he said. Sesshomaru didn't know why he offered, but Sesshomaru suddenly felt the urge to have this female trained as well as she could be. Sesshomaru thought that it was strange but brushed the thought away.

For her part, Michonne's mouth fell open; she didn't know what to say. When her brain restarted, she smiled at the Daiyoukai, "I am honored by your offered, My Lord, I accept."

Sesshomaru glanced down at the female walking next to him and nodded. At that moment, they heard someone calling for help. Carl rushed forward with Rick following to make sure his son was safe. The others followed. They found a man trapped on a boulder surrounded by three Walkers crying out for help. The group killed the Walkers and helped the priest off the boulder. As soon as he got down, he vomited. Sesshomaru entered the clearing and he would have rolled his eyes at the cowardly act of the human if it wasn't undignified.

The cowardly priest asked the group if they had any food and Carl gave him some pecans that they had. Rick, of course, was suspicious of him and asked him the three questions, how many Walkers have you killed? How many people? Why?

The priest told him that he hadn't killed anything or anyone. Rick was still suspicious of him and had the priest named Gabriel lead them to his church. As they walked away, Sesshomaru stood there. Rick turned and saw that Sesshomaru had not moved, "Is there something wrong, My Lord?"

"No, This One will bring food for you and your pack. Stay in the church. Do not leave for any reason, or This One will leave without you," Sesshomaru told Rick and Rick nodded.

Rick walked back to the group and Michonne asked him what Sesshomaru had told him. He explained where Sesshomaru was going and Michonne nodded, the duo followed the others to the Church. When they got there, Rick and the others entered to make sure the place was secure and that Gabriel wasn't lying. Once it was clear, Carl entered with Judith and the others followed. Rick informed the others that Sesshomaru had gone hunting and that he would be back shortly.

As they waited, Abraham explained his mission to the others. Maggie asked Eugene what he was going to do. Eugene went into a long-winded explanation about what he could do. The group believed him and Rick thought that after they saved Kagome and Beth, they would go with Abraham and the others to Washington.

At that moment, the doors to the church were flung open and Sesshomaru stood there. His face was cold and he glared at Eugene. Sesshomaru through the boar to the floor and flashed toward Eugene. He hoisted him into the air by his throat. Abraham tried to stop Sesshomaru but Sesshomaru easily unarmed the soldier.

"You are lying, Human. This Sesshomaru cannot stand liars, especially when it brings false hope to others."

Eugene gasped for air, "I'm not lying," Eugene croaked out.

Sesshomaru squeezed a little harder and let a little of his poison sweep into his claws. Eugene screamed in agony and Abraham tried again to stop Sesshomaru. This time, Rick and Michonne stepped in the way to block Abraham and Rosita.

Finally, Eugene acquiesced when he realized that Sesshomaru had no problem killing him, "I lied. I don't know how to fix this. I only wanted to get to Washington, I thought that would be the safest place to find shelter," Eugene confessed and Sesshomaru dropped him. Abraham stood there in shock and then attacked Eugene. Rosita, Rick, and Glenn pulled him off of Eugene who was now black and blue

Glenn slumped to the ground, "So there's no hope of fixing this, is there?" Glenn said and looked at Sesshomaru.

"No, there is not. So'unga has returned from hell and is converting this world into his hell. Every human will die."

Rick stared dumbly at Sesshomaru. His voice finally returned, "Is there anything you can do?" Rick asked.

"No, I care not for the fate of your species."

"Then why did you save us?" Michonne asked.

"Because you are pack through The Miko, and I always protect my pack," Sesshomaru elaborated.

"So what are we going to do?" Carl asked the Daiyoukai.

"After The Miko has been rescued, you will journey to Japan where I will let you enter the Demon World," Sesshomaru explained.

Father Gabriel looked at Sesshomaru in fear, "You're a Demon?! How can you enter the house of the Lord?"

"Your religious fanaticism does not affect This Sesshomaru. This is only four walls and a roof, there is nothing holy about it," Sesshomaru told Gabriel with disdain in his voice.

Rick thought for a moment and nodded, "Alright, after we replenish our supplies, we're going to Atlanta to save Kagome and Beth. Those that want to join us are welcome to, those that don't, good luck to you," With that Rick and Daryl picked up the boar and began preparing it.

The next morning, after getting some supplies from the local foodbank and replenishing their food supplies while the others seached for anything that could be of use. Abraham stayed behind to fix the short bus and once the group returned, they packed up the bus and headed out towards Atlanta without Father Gabriel.
