Chapter 11:- The Ronin
After a month and a half consolidating there gains, the Saints had income coming in out of there noses, the crew were getting paid for the jobs they do and the loyalty to the boss was at an all time high. So this is how Harry is found in the underground city in Johnny's and Aisha's place with Luz. Now you would think Aisha would be upset being underground, on the contrary she is loving it, she has a studio to keep her lost records going, she gets above ground with Shaundi, Johnny or Harry and she parties with the gang.
Luz on the other hand is hating it, she knows she needs to stay with Harry just to live comfortably but he ain't buying her things anymore, she knows there will be a war relative soon with the Ronin and she believes the Saints will lose.
Then there is Harry, he along with Pierce were upping there game on gathering intel on the Ronin, they even had Shaundi, Lucas and Johnny helping, so its amazing how much they gathered and believe that they can push in pretty quickly and take most of the Ronin's holdings. Unknowing to Harry, that this will be a very bloody battle for both sides.
"So Harry, how long do you think the boss will take till he goes to war with the Ronin", Aisha asks while she drinks some nice wine Johnny got her. Luz ears perk up hoping to hear some kind of detail but all Harry replies with "as I am sure Eesh, that Johnny has told you, we are just gathering intel and Eesh this burger was amazing, what do you think Luz". While looking at her plate its not all eaten and Harry is a bit upset that Luz does this specially to his friends.
Once they leave the apartment Aisha turns to Johnny and tells him "those two won't last, Harry just looks exhausted being near her", Johnny nods his head in agreement and after taking a massive drink of his beer replies back with "he is only with her, because the sex is good, she keeps asking him to buy her things constantly, its not like you babe, like the collection of wine I brought you. That came out of my first pay packet after we destroyed the Brotherhood, Harry took me to this guy and he had the collection". Aisha just smiles at Johnny and gives him a kiss before taking him to bed.
Meanwhile Harry just groaned out "Luz why do you need more shoes, also I am not buying you shoes, even buy your own or figure out to get your own money", Luz glares at Harry and tells him "fine" and storms off. Harry watches Luz go through the alley to the HQ, so Harry follows at a lower pace, once he arrives at HQ's he see Pierce building.
"Making a doll house Pierce" Harry asks while taking some money from one of his Saint drug dealers before Pierce tells Harry "no I am getting my plan ready for the robbery of the casino". Harry just smiles at him and walks away to Shaundi is being a bartender.
"So Harry girl trouble", she asks while Harry sits at the bar and replies back with "shut it and make me a cup of tea", then passes her the money and tells her "Shaundi dear put this in the safe for me". Shaundi nods while she passes over a steaming teapot with three tea bags inside, a mug and a glass of milk, the way Harry likes it.
Ten days it took for the boss, Shaundi, Johnny, Pierce and Harry, who has dragged Lucas into the meeting room to get started. "So we been building our men in numbers, Lucas how many Saints do we have now". Lucas gulps a little bit nervous before saying "in total boss we have four hundred Saints, with the property you have brought around the south of the city, its safe houses for them, they also recruit from those houses to, in the HQ alone we have fifty people constantly". The boss smiles at Lucas and asks "are they all armed and been given the rules of being a Third Street Saint", Lucas nods his head and says "yes boss, they know the rules and my under hands who do the canonizing on the new recruits are following the rules also, Johnny I am using the tactics you used on me and the rest of the crew on how to shoot, once there shooting is on par, they get a Vice 9, but overall at least three fifty are all armed".
The boss then turns to Harry and asks "everybody know yet Harry", Harry just nods and then says to Lucas "well done kid you are now a LT, the whole crew knows, your in charge of recruitment, you have taken it on pretty well without asking, so that means you get a bigger cut", Shaundi and Pierce stand up and shake Lucas's hand congratulating him, while Johnny just sits there and gives him a nod. While Lucas in shock, accepts the promotion while thinking 'oh my god, all I did was help defend the HQ and I got recognised and now I am a LT, bigger cut means I can send more to my mum and sisters".
"Now with that all done with, Pierce what have you got for me, on the Ronin front". Pierce sits up and tells the room "okay with the help from everybody in this room, we have gathered that the Ronin have more numbers on manpower than we have faced, they run the gambling front, prostitution and protection rackets, now they aint as bad than the Brotherhood were on the protection part but they still rob the businesses blind, I still think that robbing the casino in the suburbs will be the best first option. The money is from everything they do, also I found out the Ultor corporation put in a lot of money to help it get it going". The boss looks impressed and finally tells Pierce "okay two days you have for the plan, I also want to make it our main goal, but a distraction is needed, so work on that to".
With all that said and done, everybody leaves and Harry with Shaundi head on up out the Mission house and Harry asks "going somewhere Shaundi, cause if I remember I have given you a two hundred bucks worth of weed as a job well done", Shaundi just smiles at Harry and tells him "I want to take you to Phuc Mi Phuc Yue, as a thank you, for the weed and just being awesome". Harry just smiles and tells Shaundi "then lead on good looking".
That is how Harry ended up in Chinatown, sipping on his Dong tea, while Shaundi tells him the time she was in high school and a teacher grabbed her ass, "so let me get this straight the teacher grabbed your ass and you turned around punched him and you got expelled". Shaundi nods as she takes a bit out of her Sum yung Guy.
Harry gets dropped off at the HQ's by Shaundi and she says "I have had a good time Harry, thanks for letting me pay, but also Harry, you should break it off with Luz, you are not happy with her". Harry just gets out the car and bends down and stares at her, Shaundi gulps as she forgot how scary Harry can be when he just stares but Harry just says back "I know that, but Shaundi thanks for the date good looking". With that said Harry turns and head back down to the HQ.
Two days later Harry was with thirty Saints ready to attack the suburbs, while the Boss, Johnny and Pierce got ready to rob the casino, Harry turns to his thirty and Saints and stands up on top of a car and shouts "THIS IS IT, WE ARE GOING IN AND TAKING OUT ANYBODY IN YELLOW, THE FINAL GANG AND ONCE WE HAVE TAKEN THEM OUT THE CITY WILL BE OURS", the crew cheering loudly as they know they will be the first ones in, so they all got into the cars and with Harry in lead, start driving towards the Arena district and to the bridge.
Once they got across halfway of the bridge, the Ronin pop out of no where and start shooting, there is a blockade and Harry just puts his foot down, ready to clear it his passenger gets shot straight in the head, so Harry ducks down behind the wheel and pushes his Mag as hard as he can.
Harry crashes straight into the blockade and instantly the Ronin start shooting but the other Saints come through and start taking them out the best way they can while Harry gets out of his car, and starts shooting Ronin, while telling the only Saint who has survived in his car "someone tipped them off". The Saint nods and shoots a Ronin member in the chest, while Harry orders the Saints "TO FRECKLE BITCHES, IF YOUR CAR IS FUCKED LEAVE IT, JUST RUN TO FRECKLE BITCHES".
Instantly every Saint starts making there way to Freckle Bitches taking out as many of the Ronin that they can but when they make it to Freckle Bitches Harry sees that only ten other Saints have made it, but he sees a Shaundi in her Hammerhead driving over the bridge with her fifty Saints following behind, then to his left, Lucas arrives and gets out of his Eiswolf and tell Harry "we taken the flats and holding, Shaundi is heading towards the houses, they were expecting us", Harry nods in agreement and tells Lucas "get the truck to the casino, protect it at all costs, Pierce, Johnny and the boss will need help, I cannot believe somebody sold us out".
With those orders given Harry and his remaining ten men head towards Rim Jobs as its a better location to hold the line, while the Saints apologies to shop owners and help them protect themselves, they set up a defensive position, Harry who has a gut feeling who betrayed them sends her a text saying *Luz I need you to get a few more Saints to bring some vehicles as ours are destroyed, we are near Rim Jobs*, and not all the surprised to Harry thirty minutes later, eighteen Ronin cars show and start shooting at the Saints, Harry shouts "HOLD THE GROUND SAINT'S IF WE SURVIVE THIS I WILL GIVE YOU ALL THREE HUNDRED BUCKS WORTH OF WEED, TO EITHER SELL FOR YOURSELF OR SMOKE". The Saints instantly hold there ground and start shooting back, but there numbers start dwindling even faster, within five minutes there is four remaining and Harry so five altogether, Harry receives another text but this time from the boss saying *we are in the clear, buggy out*. Harry after reading the text sighs and looks at his three remaining Saints and tells them "time to get out of here, we steal a car and get back to HQ, I need to take care of the traitor". They all nod and the four charge out of Rim Jobs, instantly two are gunned down, but Harry and his final Saint get onto a Ronin motorbike and they get the hell out of suburbs.
Once Harry and his final Saint arrive back to HQ they both make it downstairs and the Boss looks at Harry and the Saint, Harry looks furious, while the Saint looks like he is in shock, instantly the other Saints help him into a seat and Aisha passes him a beer, while Shaundi passes him a joint, while Harry tells the room "They knew we were coming, out of the thirty Saints who came with me, all that is left is me and T-Dog, Shaundi, you know where my stash is, got get him three hundred bucks worth". Shaundi nods and gets ready to leave until Harry speaks again "me and the boss and Johnny knows what treason feels like, and we don't like it, sure we are a gang, all about the money, but we are family and we have rules so", then Harry sees her and pulls his Kobra up and BANG.
Everybody looks at the dead body of Luz and Harry who puts his gun down and says "I knew it was her, I texted her saying get more Saints to come pick us up at the exact location where eighteen more Ronin around, eight of my remaining Saints were killed while we waited for the all clear, sure I was sleeping with her, but you betray us, I will kill you". With that said Harry goes to the bar and makes himself a cup of tea while downing a bottle of beer. Nobody goes over to him, but they pick up the bitch who betrayed them and take her to the ocean and throw her body.
It was about a week later, the cash has been cleaned by the Boss and Pierce. Harry is counting the cash for the sale of weed, which is booming. When the boss comes in and sits in front of Harry and tells him "I just stopped a convoy from attacking the HQ, they were stalking Aisha's old place, we have moved Aisha to the HQ's for now, she is not happy about it but after me and Johnny explained its for her protection alone, she accepted it". Harry just nods and puts down his pen and tells the boss "kid they are planning for revenge, we need to build our defensives, they will get to the HQ and they will get in, they ain't like the Samedi, sure the tunnels of the underground city are all secure, but they will find a way to get in".
A day later Harry with Lucas and two other Saint members including T-Dog are playing a game of poker. "I am telling you Harry, if me and Lucas set up scouts near the bridges, we can find out of an attack before it hits us". T-Dog informed Harry who nodded his head and tells him "go ahead, its better keep our guard up". Harry looks up and sees the Boss holding Aisha so Harry gets up and goes over to them and asks "what has happened to Johnny", Instantly Aisha lets go of the boss and hugs Harry, crying on his shoulder, while Harry rubs her back and the boss tells him "me and Johnny went back to Aisha's house to finish collecting her clothes and shoes and other stuff, when the Ronin were inside, we took care of them pretty well until my gun got jammed and Johnny got stabbed by Jyunichi, I got Johnny to the hospital, but he has lost a lot of blood".
Harry is in shock that Johnny got stabbed and thankful that he got Aisha here or she would of been killed by then, but before he could say anything the Boss tells Harry "I have Shaundi and Pierce looking into who is arriving by plane for the Ronin, I believe it could be someone powerful for the gang, but we need the manifest first". Harry nods and tells the boss "tell me when you find out, I want to come and take some revenge, now come on Eesh lets get you home with a nice cup of tea".
A week later Harry, has visited Johnny on numerous occasions, they both know how lucky they were that Aisha was not at home at the time. So at this time, Harry was at an Apollos near the airport having a coffee, while sitting in his car thinking on how much more deadly this war for the streets has been. Just in the fight against the Ronin in the first wave they lost over sixty saints, cause of one greedy bitch. Then we have the constant fights on the streets and the Saints have lost over twenty already, the Ronin are so much tougher, sure they have the manpower, but the Ronin are no soft gits and will keep throwing men at the Saints.
Harry receives a text message from the boss saying 'Kazuo, Shogos father is coming, will be there is a hour, meet you at the airport, Pierce and Shaundi will be meeting us'. Harry puts his coffee in the holster and drives to the airport and meets Pierce and Shaundi, as he gets out he asks "where's the boss, I don't like the fact that this ass-hole is coming to Stilwater, if he comes he will bring in reinforcements and then we will definitely have a more bloody war".
Shaundi just smiles at Harry warmly and tells him "either way, we will kill them all Harry". The boss arrives and just says while getting out the car "lets do this". Without waiting for a reply he walks straight into the airport. Instantly the Ronin see the four Saints and start shooting, but a pissed off boss takes them all out, before Harry, Shaundi or Pierce could get a shot off.
In no time at all, Harry, Pierce and Shaundi and the boss make it to the plane the Kazuo Akuji should be on, once they get onto the plane, all they find is a bunch of old men, Harry in his anger grabs one of them and forces himself into his mind to find that Kazuo was rescued by Jyunichi. Harry throws the old man onto the floor, pulls his gun out and shoots him in the chest and tells the boss "Jyunichi saved his bosses life, these scum are part of the Ronin, they all need to die". With that said the boss pulls out his gun and shoots them all dead and the four leave the plane and head back to the HQ.
A day later the boss disappears while Harry is talking to a Saint about the pimps who are causing trouble so as he tells the Saint "then kill them and take the whores as your own". Pierce butts in and tells Harry "we have a visitor, to see you Harry, he says that you are good friends". Before Harry could give Pierce a lecture he sees the old man Mr Wong and a smile breaks his face and Harry just walks up to Mr Wong, gives a bow and then shakes his hand.
While speaking in Japanese Mr Wong informs Harry, that Kazuo Akuji killed his dog, when they were young, so they been at war ever since, but its reached a stalemate back in Japan, but with the war between the Ronin and the Saint's is making the Ronin look bad, so in return of making him smile, Mr Wong has brought forty of his men to come fight for the Saints. Harry impressed and a bit upset that Mr Akuji killed his friends dog, accepts on behalf of the boss, and offers him a place to stay while they wait for the boss to return.
In the meeting room a day later the boss tells them all "Jyunichi is dead, Mr Wong here has brought in some much needed reinforcements so now we need to think on what to do, I will be heading to the hospital to see Johnny soon, so Pierce, Shaundi and Lucas work on a plan as we need to work out the best way to kill the remaining the Ronin".
After the short meeting Harry joins the boss to visit Johnny, once they get there they see a bunch of Ronin. Worried for Johnny, Harry distracts the Ronin while the boss goes and gets Johnny. Its a bloodbath as Harry, the boss and Johnny make there way to the helicopter that's on top of the hospital, once they get there, Johnny's wound has re-opened and he is losing a lot of blood, while the boss starts the helicopter. Harry starts shooting at any of the Ronin who are trying to get through the door. Once in the air, Harry turns to Johnny and starts pouring magic into the wound trying to stop the bleeding as Johnny passes out.
It takes a week for Johnny to be well enough to start walking, while under the care of Aisha, but as Harry, the boss, Lucas and Mr Wong are walking towards the lift, it opens and the Ronin inside the lift start shooting as soon as the door opens. Mr Wong gets hit in the side, the boss gets shot in the leg and Harry in the arm and stomach, while Lucas gets killed on the spot. Harry sees Shogo in the lift and before he raises his gun, all the Saints from downstairs are right there putting lead into the lift, every Ronin (eight members including Shogo) are dead, Shaundi with a med grad student who she is sleeping with are there patching up Harry, the boss and Mr Wong.
A week after losing Lucas, the leaders except Shaundi are in the hotel, just talking, watching the strippers dance, and having a relaxing time, Mr Wong is playing poker with a few other Saints, then they hear motorbikes coming from upstairs, T-Dog goes upstairs to see what is going on but before he could get any further, everybody sees his head land near a stripper and the next thing that happens, fourteen motorbikes show up and open fire.
Harry and Pierce instantly jump behind the bar, Mr Wong pulls out his gun, along side his translator, the boss and Johnny. Then all hell lets loose. Ronin and Saints alike start dying, Harry and Pierce run out of the hotel to protect Aisha as Johnny is to surrounded by Ronin, with Mr Wong and the boss. Luckily Aisha heard the gunshots and locked herself up, but when Harry and Pierce turn up at her flat, the Ronin are trying to get in, instantly they are all shot and Harry orders four Saints "stay here do not leave this door unattended till Johnny gets back". With that said Harry and Pierce run back and helps clear out the Ronin.
It takes a hour to clear the Ronin out and it only took for Kazuo Akuji to get shot by Johnny, for him to give the retreat order. "This won't be the last time we see him", Mr Wong's translator tells them all. The boss is fuming and turns to the crew and tells them all "THATS IT, PREPARE YOURSELF, WE ARE GOING TO DESTROY THE LOT OF THEM". With that said the boss leaves the HQ while Harry picks up T-Dogs head and sets up the funeral for him.
It the months that followed the Ronin lost a lot of there members, all thanks to Harry finding out where they slept, this surprised the suit wearing rat faced Dane Vogel, when he came by to offer his services. The Ronin were almost finished, they just need to find Kazuo Akuji but that was easier said than done.
It was the Chinese Heritage festival and under the orders from the boss, Johnny is escorting Mr Wong and his translator, Harry was with the boss at the Stilwater University house, they were collecting the money that this area has collected from selling weed and from the businesses. When the boss receives a phone call "okay we will be right there". Is all Harry heard when the boss turns to him and tells him "the Ronin have attacked the Chinese Heritage Festival, time to show Stilwater that the Saints will protect them". Instantly Harry gets a move on text every single contact in his phone that's a Saint 'Get the marine district we have a job to do'.
It took thirty minutes for almost three hundred Saints arrived, the Ronin were so surprised to see this many Saints and tried to run, but they never stood a chance, Harry got onto the raft, when he saw Mr Wong laying on the floor, fire is everywhere, so Harry without thinking picks up Mr Wong and gets him out of there.
Once he puts Mr Wong down, the translator walks to them and passes Mr Wong his phone, a smile comes onto Mr Wong's face as an explosion of fireworks goes off and Harry realises that Mr Kazuo Akuji is now dead. So Harry looks at Mr Wong and tells him in Japanese "I will be coming to Japan to help you against the Ronin, they are done, I don't want them back". Mr Wong smiles at Harry and tells in return "it will be a pleasure to fight by your side".
With that all said Harry goes up to the boss and tells him "is the city ours", the boss nods with a big a smile on his face and tells his best friend "almost I expect you to go to Japan and deal with the rest of them". Harry gives his consent on the order and leave the Marine district to go and pack for his trip.
AN - So just the Ultor Corporation to go, there attack will be different from canon. Disclaimer I do not own Harry Potter or Saints Row, I am just using the sandbox for a story as I love them both.
