Chapter 47: Cool Party
Whose job is it to decide who's cool and uncool? Were we given special tags or placed in separate sections based on our appearances when we were born? For crying out loud!
Ms. Princess Rhonda Wellington Lloyd was randomly passing out invitations to what she considered to be a 'cool' party.
By the time recess came, we discovered the only one of us worthy of making her high graded list was football head.
Tall hair boy seemed crushed at the news he wasn't on her list. I was just angry at the nerve she had of deciding it was her job to label us all.
Arnold decided to go and see what all the fuss was about. According to him, we didn't miss anything. That still didn't put the class' (including mine) pit of rage to an end.
"I wish we could do something about it?"
"I say we all go over there and crash her party!"
"Well I say we get a truck load of horse manure and leave it on her porch!"
"I say we paint ourselves with tiger stripes, and go free all the animals in the zoo!"
Obviously, someone wasn't too concerned about the party, or he had his own plans for one. Poor twisted little freak.
Football head then suggested a Geek Party on top of his place. The name must have made up for the party as the 'cool' people arrived one by one to join us.
"Pretty geeky party football head!"
Geraldo insisted the only thing needed to make it perfect, was seeing the queen herself show up.
Only moments later did that happen.
"Sorry this party is…"
"Geeks only"
"And you don't seem to be on the list"
"Perhaps you're on the other list"
"The cool list"
Princess then forced the words that she wanted to be a geek out of herself, as if a fashion agent was standing beside her. Of course that didn't permanently change her attitude, but the night ended in our favor.
