Chapter 16: The long awaited meeting.

After the proclamation there was a minute of silence, then Amelia asked the first question.

"You said that Sirius Black is innocent, he confessed at the scene the day he killed all of those people?"

"The simple answer is guilt." Harry replied. "At that moment he felt that it was his fault that Lily and James were dead. He was the one that convinced them to change their secret keeper. He convinced them to use the spy instead of himself because he thought that he was the obvious choice and would be targeted for it. His friendship with my parents was a well known fact. What he didn't know until it was too late was that Peter was working for Voldemort. I can only think that he thought it was Remus Lupin as he would have more of a reason. He is a werewolf after all and at the time Voldemort was promising more freedom for werewolves and other magical creatures."

"I guess that makes sense, guilt can make people do and say strange things." Augusta said

"That is can." Amelia agreed. " Ok Harry, do you have any evidence that can cooperate with what you are saying? Do you have any proof?"

"Yes I do. In my parents' wills they wrote about who their secret keeper really was and why they chose Peter to be their secret keeper. There is also the fact that Sirius never had a trial and so that means that he was never convicted of a crime. By wizarding law anyone accused of murder must be given a trial even in times of war, and that they must be given veritaserum. This obviously didn't happen." Harry answered in a matter of fact tone. As he spoke he handed Amelia and Augusta copies of his parents' wills and Sirius's arrest record.

"Thank you for this, it should be enough to get him a trial." Amelia said as she was putting the documents in her pockets. " Now that that is sorted, what is next on the agenda?"

"Next is where this conversation gets dangerous. Next is Dumbledore and all of the charges that will be levelled against him." Ricsaw said.

"Yes I must say there has to be some major thing wrong in this world if Dumbledore is criminal enough for him to bring your hatred and ire. What has he done that needs this amount of privacy." Amelia asks.

Amelia has never thought was as innocent, kind and straight and narrow as he tried to seem. He wasn't a death eater or a murderer but he was a manipulator and a liar. It wouldn't surprise her if he had bribed members of the wizengamot, but there was never any evidence, it looked like that was about to change.

"Yes there is a lot that has happened in the last ten years that would warrant my anger and ire. He is not only the reason that I grew up in an abusive household but is the reason that Sirius never got a trial. He has also been stealing money from my vaults and then there is also the binding of my magic. It wasn't just the money from my vaults, books, jewellery and family artifacts that he stole and either sold or kept, it is everything that makes me angry. He needs to pay for it all." Harry ranted.

"That is a lot to take in." Augusta stated. "Yes I have never fully trusted the old man but this is more than I ever thought he was capable of."

Amelia agreed with Augusta and said. "What do you want to do about Dumbledore?"

"This is when this comes in." Ricsaw said, holding up a thick stack of papers. "This is a list of all the charges and all the evidence that can be compiled by the bank. There is probably more out there that we don't know about."

Putting the stack on the table in front of him, he started to wave his hands over the papers to create two sets of copies and handed them to Amelia and Augusta. The two women stared at the stack in shock and horror, Harry however looked more resigned then anything else. The stack was at least 15 pages thick.

"This is just the stuff that we can prove done to mister Potter, mister Black and mister Lupin, as well as the illegal things that he has done at Hogwarts and with the accounts of Hogwarts." Ricsaw explained.

"Now we should talk about Lily and James' wills and everything that was in there that was not specifically stated to go to Harry. Harry is stated as the sole heir to the Potter family. That is not unusual, what is unusual is the fact that Harry was never meant to be placed with his aunt and uncle at all. This means that Lily and James' last wish were never executed at all. That was all fixed on Lord Potter's 11th birthday. The wills have now been fully executed and the money and assets that were given to people have finally reached the people that they were meant to 10 years ago." Ricsaw explained.

"So not only did Dumbledore leave an innocent man in prison, steal money from Harry and leave him in an abusive home but he also went against the wills of the last lord and lady potter meaning that he also committed will tampering and attempted line theft. With all the evidence that you have gathered and the wills we should be able to put him away, even if it is just a year." Amelia said.

"Yes that is all true and all the evidence is legally acquired, and is as airtight as we can possibly make it. If all goes to plan, Dumbledore will go to prison for the rest of his life." Ricsaw replied.

"So what is the plan for now? How do we proceed?" Augusta said.

"Well we will need time to go through all of the evidence back at the DMLE to sort through it and make a list of changes that will be leveled against him. That is going to take at least a week if not more." Turning to Harry Amelia asked. "Can you handle being in Dumbledore presents for at least a week at most a month."

"Yeah I can do that." Harry replied, he continued by saying. " I know that this has to be done right but can it still be done right but can it still be done quickly."

"As quickly and correctly as possible." Amelia assured.

"Ok now that is out of the way we need to discuss how we are going to handle the media and the questions that you are going to get at school Harry." Augusta asked.

"Well i'm a minor so the media is all up to you three just tell me what you want me to do and I will see if it is something that I will be ok with. As for the question that I will get at school, well I will just Play up the traumatized kid act and when the news is leaked I can act shocked and angry and demand to know if it is true." Harry replied " That should help to mitigate any of the staff questions."

The others in the room nodded. It was a good plan and I meant that Harry could have a certain amount of distance between him and what was happening.

"That is a good plan as for the media we can put out some statements after the case goes public stating that you need time to understand what the revelations mean for your life and how this will affect the people that you live with. We can also release a statement after the trial saying that whatever the result is that what Dumbledore did is unforgivable and that you would like no contact with him in the future. We will send you the exact wording of the statements for your approval and any changes that you want made so that you are happy." Amelia said and Suggested.

Harry nodded, he liked that idea and it gave him some control over what was being said to the public about him." Yes I like that idea, it would give me some control."

"Well that is all that we have to discuss today." Ricsaw said.

With that they all started to exchange goodbye with the goblin and started to walk to the entrance of the bank. Harry turned to the two women next to him and said. "Well I will see you tomorrow at the platform.

"Yes till tomorrow, Lord Potter." The two women replied.

With that they split ways. Harry walked back to the Leaky Cauldron. Checking the time Harry noticed that they had been in the meeting for 2 hours. He decided to go back to his room and finish packing for the next day, only leaving out the clothes for the train, his pyjamas and a few books that he would be reading on the train. By the time that he was finished tracking down and packing all his things it was about 5 o'clock, so he decided to have an early dinner and early night. It took about an hour to order and eat so it was just after 6 when he got back to his room. He decided that he was going to meditate for an hour to help clear his mind and then he was going to finish one of his etiquette books that he had yet to finish. He would be in bed by 9.

When the clock chimed 9pm Harry Changed into his pj's, brushed his teeth and got into bed, as he drifted off Harry smiles. He knew that the chaos he had caused was going to enjoy it. His revenge was already tasting sweet.
