The day started like any other, I had gathered extra supplies for Kimberly's float and was headed to the Youth Center when I crossed paths with Tommy. He told me what happened with Bulk and Skull, and then with the putties. My heart ached for Kimberly, but Tommy told me about his plan, so I gave him the supplies and told him to let me know if he needed anything else. He agreed and went on his way.
I continued to the Youth Center and saw Kimberly crying. I walked up to her and lightly touched her shoulder.
"I'm so sorry girl." I said.
"Thanks, girl." Kimberly said.
We talked for a little longer before she and the others were called to defeat a monster. I went on a run and was enjoying the scenery when Capri and some putties showed up.
"Guess you're friends don't care about you anymore." Capri taunted.
"Just like Rita can't fight her own battles." I taunted back.
Capri didn't like that and sent the putties after me. I fought them off and they returned to Rita's lair. Capri growled in anger and came at me. I fought her as well, and I could tell that she wasn't happy about not being able to put me down.
"You know they'll leave you behind." Capri said.
"Funny." I laughed.
Capri gave me a smirk because she thought that she had me.
"If any of us leave someone behind, it would be me. I would be the one leaving." I said.
Capri didn't seem fazed by my response, but I was ready if she attacked me again. Capri then attacked me again, and I was handling her well until Rita pulled her back. I took a breath and headed to the house to shower. After my shower, I headed back to the Youth Center to watch the parade.
Kimberly joined us and was shocked to see her float in the parade. She hugged Tommy once we told her that it was Tommy that did it. We then went back to watching the parade and just enjoying hanging with each other.
