So... I was kidnapped by some powerful being and given a beta version of some System called the Dragon Taming System(DTS) to test and have fun with. Oh, and I'm also tasked with repopulating Remnant of all places with Dragons of all things. That should be fun. What could possibly go wrong with that?

Instead of joining Beacon Academy. Jaune joins a private military organization, the Shadow Company. No rules can bind them. And take no fame or glory. They don't fight for praise and have little need for awards. Huntsmen and huntresses may not like them, but they are not your enemies. They are heroes.

Fragment, a shattered world forsaken by Gods and plagued by Grimm. This is the tale of the miscellaneous Hunters fighting against a cold despair and for a warm hope. Bastion Academy was welcoming a handful this year, from the Knight Prince Jaune, the Pampered Princess Blake, the Cocky Champion Pyrrha, the Bandit Heiress Yang, to the Mostly Sober Ruby and that Clumsy Fool Weiss.

Jaune Arc followed his dream, then he died during Initiation, he quickly gave up on that dream and tried living a normal life, then he died. He tried fleeing death, then he died. He tried fighting death, then he died. With each death he found himself back in time to his arrival at Beacon, now he’s confronting his death and trying to find a way to survive, and then he died again.

Ever since he was young, Jaune Arc dreamt of becoming a hero. It was a dream he was ready to risk his life for, and now even death won’t stop him. After unfortunately dying on his journey to Beacon, he fortunately found himself still in the world of the living, and now he had ghostly abilities to help him achieve his dream.

Adam Taurus was treated like cattle so he became a hero in the White Fang, and then he died. Jaune Arc was captivated by tales of heroes so he faked his way into Beacon, and he arrived with another soul inside his body. Also, all this stuff about the SDC, the White Fang, and Faunus, just goes right over his head. He just wants to date that girl, and talk about books with that one.
