This story is about a boy named Alerak who knows that his father is Galbatorix. And his only inheritance is a dragon and the pain of living in his father's shadow. His adventure is hard, but he soon finds love in the world. But what will happen to him if his father finds him?

It has been two years since Eragon and Saphira left Alagaësia. The country has finally recovered from the devastation of war. Many of the Varden have created new lives for themselves in Alagaësia and have settled into life under the High Queen, Nasuada. Eragon fosters his love for Arya as he and Saphira raise the next generation of dragon riders.

This is a rather modern story about the events that occurred quite a few centuries after the death of Galbatorix. Draconis/Dragon riders are once again extinct until a young girl comes upon something unexpected. This is my first try at writing fanfiction so any reviews/comments would be appreciated. PAUSED.
