Never one to refuse a challenge, the Doctor gives her the biggest party ever: New Year's Eve. Enter a dashing figure from the Doctor's past to change the dynamic between Time Lord and companion.

They decided that they didn't love each other. Over the years, though, they slowly fell. With a little girl to look after, will Donna meet him again?

"One day," she mutters, and the words are the beginnings of a promise that they both know she's never going to keep. "One day I'm going to stop getting into situations like this." Twelve and Clara, all of time and space, and the whole history of human desire.
