OK. I don't actually have a good summary for this story. Basically, it's RWBY with the Alchemy from FMA inserted into it. There are no FMA characters, and it's still set on Remnant and there are still the Grimm and there are still Huntsmen and Huntresses. Ruby Rose is a fun-loving teen who is in training to be a Huntress, protecting the world of Remnant against the Grimm hordes. But is that the reality or the fantasy? Perhaps the reality is the nightmare after all?

Living up to expectations is never an easy thing. My entire life has been spent torn between my parents who I both want to love me. For my mom I am an artist, for my father I am a terrorist. But everything changed when I met her.

Jaune Arc decided he wanted to become to be a Hunter at the age of twelve-and-a-half. When he turns thirteen, however, something happens to his twin sister, Coral, that forces him to use his semblance. At seventeen, Jaune and Coral Arc join Beacon Academy to become professional Hunters so they can make sure no one has to go through what they did.

When Weiss attempted to flee from her prison at home, she ran into a certain general. What happened next felt unreal, and it just kept getting weirder. She half expected to wake up and realize it was just a dream any second.

Things were looking up for Jaune after the Terror is Reality Tournament. He'd finally proven that he wasn't the weakling he used to be. But when an outbreak occurs after the tournament, and he's framed, he and Yang uncover a conspiracy much larger than both of them in their quest for truth. The fate of all four Kingdoms rests on their shoulders, whether they know it or not.

What was it like to die? You get a different answer depending on who you ask, some say nothing others say everything. But when one person's had enough of death to last a lifetime he resolves to bring an end to the violence, the chaos, and the Grimm. Even if all that's left of him is the remnants of his soul.
