The Eleventh Doctor goes to buy a fez only to meet his past self. This was a quirky little idea I had a few months ago. I made a quicky little artwork of it and posted it to deviantArt. Here's my original idea in story form, following on from the mini episode "Death is the Only Answer."

The Doctor has been travelling with his daughter and new companions, Amy and Rory. A chance encounter with a TARDIS in a body helps his daughter hatch a plan to meet her mother who happens to be getting married. JE Fix-It, Doctor/Donna, a different riff on my Regarding Mrs Smith ficverse.

He took a deep breath and thanked his lucky stars he was just a beat-cop. May not be what his wife had wanted, but he was happy he didn't have to deal with the hippies, freaks and weirdoes that the upper divisions handled all the time.

He can hear the TARDIS beckoning under the vestiges of the burned out stars—that is until the ginger is in his face and screaming, yelling at him to get up or do something and wipe that stupid grin off his face (what stupid grin? Rose Tyler is dancing barefoot in the fountain).

Just a short tale from Barbara's POV focussing on the first episode (An Unearthly Child), not particularly exciting or enlightening, but hey, hope you enjoy :)
